Trump Taps Linda McMahon For Education Secretary, Says She Will ‘Fight Tirelessly’ For School Choice

President-elect Donald Trump announced Tuesday evening that he has selected Linda McMahon to lead the Department of Education. McMahon, 76, served during Trump’s first term in office as the Administrator of the Small Business Administration. “It is my great honor to announce that Linda McMahon, former Administrator of the Small Business Administration, will be the United States Secretary of Education,” Trump said in a statement. McMahon has spent the last four years serving as the Chair of the Board at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI). “So proud of my friend and America First Patriot @Linda_McMahon for answering the call to head the Department of Education!” said AFPI Executive Director Chad Wolf. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “As a strong supporter of school choice and parental rights, there is no one better to expel the woke agenda in our education system and put our children first,” he added. So proud of my friend and America First Patriot @Linda_McMahon for answering the call to head the Department of Education! She did an incredible job leading the Small Business Administration and went on to fearlessly lead @A1Policy alongside @BrookeLRollins and @larry_kudlow. As… — Chad Wolf (@ChadFWolf) November 20, 2024 Trump said that as Secretary of Education, McMahon will “fight tirelessly” to expand school choice in every state and “empower parents to make the best education decisions for their families.” McMahon previously served for two years on the Connecticut Board of Education where she was one of fifteen members who oversaw all public education in the state, the Trump transition team said. “Linda will use her decades of Leadership experience, and deep understanding of both Education and Business, to empower the next Generation of American Students and Workers, and make America Number One in Education in the World,” Trump said. “We will send Education BACK TO THE STATES, and Linda will spearhead that effort.”

Hacker Reveals Surprising Twist in Matt Gaetz Ethics Probe

A hacker has exposed key testimony in Matt Gaetz’s ethics scandal, raising serious cybersecurity concerns and challenging political ethics. A hacker named “Altam Beezley” accessed transcripts and documents from a House Ethics Committee report on Matt Gaetz. Was it “hacked” or was it leaked? Details of the Hack A hacker known as “Altam Beezley” managed to acquire crucial documents, including transcripts and 24 exhibits from a House Ethics Committee report on Congressman Matt Gaetz. These documents, containing sworn statements, surfaced following Gaetz’s resignation from Congress. The sensitive data breach highlights significant cybersecurity vulnerabilities within governmental entities tasked with safeguarding confidential information. One of the pivotal documents includes claims from a woman stating she engaged in a sexual relationship with Gaetz when she was 17. Such allegations are not new for Gaetz; however, he has consistently denied them, citing them as politically driven. Notably, an earlier investigation by the Justice Department resulted in no charges against Gaetz. Gaetz is President-elect Donald Trump's pick for attorney general. https://t.co/2SAYXYL4tu — ABC News (@ABC) November 18, 2024 Political Implications The intersection of ethics and cybersecurity takes center stage in this unfolding scandal. The House Ethics Committee, planning to release a critical report on Gaetz, now grapples with jurisdictional dilemmas following his resignation amid a nomination for U.S. Attorney General by former President Trump. Despite the Ethics Committee’s loss of jurisdiction, parts of the report have found their way to media outlets, sparking renewed scrutiny on Gaetz’s actions. Allegations of politically motivated investigations linger, with Gaetz having previously criticized them as attempts to unseat him from his congressional role. The breach not only jeopardizes personal privacy but also raises critical questions about the capacity of these entities to protect sensitive information from unauthorized leaks. The challenges posed by such cybersecurity breaches necessitate a reevaluation of protocols and safeguards to prevent further incidents. As public interest continues to peek, the ethical dilemma of balancing privacy rights against transparency becomes apparent. Sources: Hacker hacks Gaetz document? Gaetz’s confirmation won’t be easy. Steve Martin Adds The Banjo To New Vince Gill Song & Fans Are “Praying To The Bluegrass Gods”

We all know Steve Martin is a hilarious man. He played the neurotically lovable George Banks in the Father of the Bride franchise and family man Neal Page in Planes, Trains, And Automobiles. Steve started his career in stand-up comedy and has hosted both Saturday Night Live and The Academy Awards multiple times. Steve hinted that his current role as Charles-Haden Savage in Only Murders in the Building could be his final acting role. But that doesn’t mean he’s finished in the entertainment business. Steve Martin recently lent his banjo skills to a new Vince Gill tune, and people love it. Believe it or not, he’s a Grammy-winning bluegrass artist who loves to play music. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Steve Martin (@stevemartinreally) Steve Martin Shared Video Of He And Vince Gill Playing Together On Instagram While Vince sang, Steve strummed the banjo. Together, they made beautiful music. Steve captioned his Instagram post, “Here’s Alison Brown’s and my new song with the incredible Vince Gill. ‘Wall Guitar.’ Already a hit in Iceland, I think!” A fan wrote, “What a welcome sound. That voice, your banjos… my soul needs soothing so thank you all. Steve, please don’t stop posting.” “I have listened to this over and over. I am in love. My grandmother was a brilliant banjo player and this warms my heart. Thank you for this beautiful song,” this person agreed. This person was watching Steve Martin on TV and stopped to listen to him and Vince Gill play, “I seriously just paused ‘Murders in The Building’ to listen to this song! You can do no wrong, Steve Martin!” “Mr. Martin, I think you have officially crossed over. Comedy, movies, tv, and now music. At the risk of sounding condescending, I am proud of the entertainer you have become,” a fan complimented. It seems no matter what Steve does, it’s incredible and we’re here for it. NEVER MIND SOROS: The Regime Media SEETHE With Envy at Trump-Musk Bond

The dust has not yet fully settled on the 2024 presidential election, and the Biden-Trump transition is in full swing. As the Regime Media shifts to Resistance mode, one focal point of coverage emerges: the relationship between President-Elect Donald Trump and Tesla/SpaceX founder Elon Musk, which will be covered as improper whenever possible. Watch as the CBS Evening News opened their newscast with the insinuation of undue influence exercised by Musk over the incoming Trump administration: CBS EVENING NEWS 11/19/24 6:31 PM NORAH O’DONNELL: Good evening, I'm Norah O'Donnell and thank you for joining us. We want to begin with President-Elect Trump and the influence of the world's richest man Elon Musk on the launch of the next Trump administration. The two men are near the southernmost point of Texas this evening for the latest test flight of SpaceX's Starship rocket. Musk, meanwhile, has been helping to engineer Trump’s new administration. This wasn’t the only insinuation of undue influence, made painfully obvious by the screaming “INFLUENCE” graphic as Norah O’Donnell read through her introduction. Correspondent Caitlyn Huey-Burns deviated from the abortion beat and suggested that Musk’s support of Trump was underlied by some nefarious pecuniary interest: an unspoken quid pro quo, if you will: CAITLYN HUEY-BURNS: Good evening, Norah. Well, Elon Musk and the President-Elect have been virtually inseparable since the election but today's trip wasn't just an outing with friends, it also puts a spotlight on the relationship between Musk's businesses and the federal government. President-Elect Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk took their friendship to Texas today to watch Musk's company SpaceX test its largest vessel. Commercial rocket launches like this one are regulated by the federal government, and SpaceX has complained that some of those regulations are slowing down technology. DONALD TRUMP: Elon, get those rocket ships going because we want to reach Mars before the end of my term. HUEY-BURNS: Trump has tapped Musk, now a fixture at Mar-a-Lago, to run a new group aimed at slashing federal bureaucracy. ELON MUSK: I think this is going to be the most transformative presidency, perhaps, since the founding of the country. HUEY-BURNS: And potentially transformative for his companies, SpaceX and Tesla, which already have more than $13 billion in government contracts. Huey-Burns doesn’t make clear for viewers how a Trump presidency is “transformative” for SpaceX and Tesla. She just makes the insinuation, without evidence, and leaves it to viewers to conjure up their own corruption adventure. Of course, this reporting is fundamentally unserious. The media are perfectly fine with billionaires dabbling in politics so long as they dabble in the right politics. No one blinked when Mark Cuban threw on the Rachel Maddow glasses and shilled for Kamala Harris. No one suggested nefarious quid pro quos or conflicts of interest. Cuban was a patriot, you see, exercising his First Amendment right to shill for the Regime. Likewise, no one gives a rip that Dauphin Prince Alex Soros routinely posts pictures of himself with captured Democrat politicians, in a manner reminiscent of a big game hunter posing with his trophies. Soros isn’t a problem, either.   Only Elon is an issue, because he chose to side with the Bad Orange Man. Actual journalism might consider delving into the reasons why the Obama/Biden voter felt compelled to support Trump this time around (hint: it has to do with free speech). But this is not journalism. This is merely regime propaganda identifying and smearing a dissident target- which proves that they’ve learned nothing from this election. Click “expand” to view the full transcript of the aforementioned report as aired on the CBS Evening News on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024: CBS EVENING NEWS 11/19/24 6:31 PM NORAH O’DONNELL: Good evening, I'm Norah O'Donnell and thank you for joining us. Today the President-Elect picked celebrity Dr. Mehmet Oz to serve as administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. That's essentially overseeing health insurance for over 160 million Americans. And investment banking CEO Howard Lutnick is being tapped to run the Commerce Department, which means he’ll take the lead in enacting Trump’s promised tariffs. And then starting tomorrow, two of Trump's most controversial picks will be on Capitol Hill with Vice President-Elect JD Vance. Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth will be working to win over any skeptical Republican senators in their bids to become Attorney General and Defense Secretary respectively. Well, this evening, a CBS News reporter asked Trump about his selection of Matt Gaetz. REPORTER: Mr. President, are you reconsidering the nomination of Matt Gaetz? DONALD TRUMP: No. REPORTER: How far are you willing to go to get him confirmed? O’DONNELL: We’ve got a team of correspondents covering the Trump transition tonight. CBS's Caitlin Huey-Burns is going to lead us off from West Palm Beach, Florida. Good evening, Caitlyn. CAITLYN HUEY-BURNS: Good evening, Norah. Well, Elon Musk and the President-Elect have been virtually inseparable since the election but today's trip wasn't just an outing with friends, it also puts a spotlight on the relationship between Musk's businesses and the federal government. ELON MUSK: I think this is going to be the most transformative presidency, perhaps, since the founding of the country. HUEY-BURNS: And potentially transformative for his companies, SpaceX and Tesla, which already have more than $13 billion in government contracts. TRUMP: You know, he likes this place. I can't get him out of here, he just likes this place. And you know what? I like having him here, too.  HUEY-BURNS: Meanwhile, Trump got some good news on the legal front, potentially a year's long pause in his sentencing in the criminal hush money case in Manhattan. Trump continues to fill out his top jobs, today naming celebrity Dr. Mehmet Oz to run the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and transition co chair Howard Lutnick to lead the Commerce Department. Musk had backed Lutnick, who is the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, for Treasury. And he's going to bat for controversial former Republican congressman Matt Gaetz, Trump's choice for Attorney General, saying he will be “our hammer of justice.”
