A teenager allegedly tried to steal a gun from a seller who had met with him at a gas station to sell him a gun‚ and instead‚ the teen ended up dead‚ according Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The incident unfolded at about 3 p.m. Thursday at a Shell gas station in Crosby. Police were called about the shooting‚ and when they responded‚ they found a 17-year-old black male with multiple gunshot injuries and a man with a firearm. The teenager was airlifted to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead. The man stayed at the scene and told police that he had agreed to meet the teenager in order to sell him a firearm‚ but when they met‚ the teenager tried to steal the gun instead. In the ensuing struggle‚ the man says he shot the teenager. Investigators said they reviewed surveillance video from the gas station with the Harris County District Attorney's Office‚ and the case may be referred to a grand jury. "Quick response/work by our Lieutenant Calhoun who was nearby and detained the suspected shooter‚" said Gonzalez. The identity of the deceased teenager is being withheld until his next of kin could be notified. Police believe he was dropped off at the gas station by someone and are asking for help from the public to identify that person. Video shows a crazy scene unfolding during a high school wrestling match in New Jersey during which parents engaged in a wild brawl as student-athletes were competing. Around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday‚ wrestlers were competing in a wrestling championship meet at Phillipsburg High School. Tempers flared during the meet between Phillipsburg’s youth team against High Point's team for the youth championship when an argument amongst parents erupted. Viral video shows that while high school wrestlers were competing‚ parents in the bleachers engaged in a brouhaha.NJ.com reported‚ "According to the videos‚ the fight starts between two men‚ with shouting and a shove. Then‚ the bleachers clear and people start pulling‚ pushing‚ and shoving each other. One person can be seen getting kicked in the head."Video shows other parents getting involved in the physical confrontation by shoving and attempting to quell the fisticuffs. — (@) An anonymous parent told Lehigh Valley Live that at least one child was "struck during the fight." Police escorted the parents of the wrestlers out of the gymnasium following the melee. It is not clear whether any individuals were injured or charged in the fight. The brawl reportedly caused the league to cancel the rest of the matches. The league has participants who are middle schoolers from grades 5 through 8.The New Jersey Grade School league's individual wrestling championships are scheduled to happen on Sunday at Hunterdon Central High School‚ and officials are not certain how the interruption would affect the championships. The Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said his office was "not too involved" in the incident.
