E. Jean Carroll brags how she will spend Trump's money. Megyn Kelly believes the admission helps Trump win 2024.

E. Jean Carroll boasted on Monday that she will use "Trump's money" to purchase a penthouse for MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.Last week‚ a jury ordered Donald Trump to pay Carroll $83.3 million for allegedly defaming her over her accusations that he sexually assaulted her nearly three decades ago. Trump denies any wrongdoing. But on Monday‚ Maddow asked Carroll if she plans to "help shore up women's rights" with the eye-popping award that Trump plans to appeal.Flanked by her two lawyers — Roberta Kaplan and Shawn Crowley — Carroll was giddy with excitement and claimed she was fighting for "all women." She then told Maddow that she plans to spend "Trump's money" on lavish waste.Carroll explained:Yes‚ Rachel! Yes! I have such‚ such great ideas for all the good I’m gonna do with this money. First thing‚ Rachel‚ you and I are going to go shopping. We’re going to get completely new wardrobes‚ new shoes‚ a motorcycle for Crowley‚ a new fishing rod for Robbie. Rachel‚ what do you want? Penthouse? It’s yours‚ Rachel! Penthouse and‚ uh‚ France? You want France? You wanna go fishing in France? No? Oh‚ all right. — (@) The statement left Carroll's lawyers visible nervous."That's a joke‚" Crowley blurted out through awkward laughter.Carroll's gloating comes off in bad taste‚ especially considering she boasted about lavish spending despite Maddow asking her if she plans to use the money to help "women's rights." But it could be worse than that‚ according to Megyn Kelly."This is the kind of clip that could win Trump the election‚" Kelly reacted. — (@) Earlier in the day‚ Carroll boasted that she plans to spend the money on "something Donald Trump hates." That's her right if the jury decision withstands appeal. But Kelly is also correct. Boasting about spending a questionable jury award on lavish items in pure retribution drives the perception that the power structures that hold together American society are actively targeting Trump‚ and that perception is one reason why millions of voters (to the amazement of those power structures) support Trump. Damning complaint accuses Harvard's DEI czar Sherri Charleston of extensive plagiarism

Damning complaint accuses Harvard's DEI czar Sherri Charleston of extensive plagiarism

Harvard's plagiarism problem shows no signs of going away — and that's not just because its disgraced former president Claudine Gay remains on the faculty. A new complaint filed Monday with the university suggests that affirmative action expert Sherri Ann Charleston‚ the university's chief diversity and inclusion officer‚ might be another resident plagiarist. The complaint obtained by the Washington Free Beacon identifies 40 examples of alleged plagiarism in two of Charleston's academic works‚ beginning with her 2009 dissertation. "Charleston's dissertation contains a lot of other scholars' language verbatim without quotation marks‚" says the complaint. "Parts of Charleston's dissertation were published previously‚ word for word‚ by her advisor‚ Rebecca Scott‚ and others. Charleston will lift whole sentences and paragraphs from other scholars' work without quotation marks‚ then add a correct reference somewhere in the footnote ending the long paragraph." When Harvard's plagiarism scandal was coming to a head in December‚ Dr. Peter Wood‚ president of the National Association of Scholars‚ underscored the significance of a plagiarized dissertation to New College of Florida board member Christopher Rufo: "What does it mean if the Ph.D. dissertation is plagiarized? It means that the credential is based on falsehoods. It is‚ in effect‚ counterfeit currency." "It has long been the practice of many universities to revoke the degrees of people later found to have plagiarized their dissertations or who committed research fraud on their way to the Ph.D.‚" added Wood. Charleston said in a 2021 speech to Harvard students‚ "The dissertation is not your masterpiece. The dissertation is only and will always only be a demonstration of your ability to conduct original research. Period. Don't try to be great." The complaint filed Monday against Charleston notes further that at least 20% of the DEI czar's only peer-reviewed article — which she supposedly helped her husband‚ LaVar Charleston‚ write — had been published two years prior in a 2012 Journal of Diversity in Higher Education paper. The complaint notes that there is no acknowledgement in Charleston's 2014 paper "that it is substantially a reprint of the 2012 journal article by LaVar Charleston." The overlap between the two papers is uncanny — so much so that the duplication may reportedly even violate copyright law. In addition to language‚ the DEI czar's 2014 paper recycled the methods‚ findings‚ and survey subject descriptions from her husband's previous paper. "About 2/3 of the section entitled 'Findings' in the 2014 paper was previously published as the 'Conclusion' to the 2012 paper‚" said the complaint. "What the 2012 study described as its 'major findings' are practically identical to what the 2014 study described as its 'results.'" Steve McGuire‚ former political theory professor at Villanova University‚ suggested that "Sherri Charleston appears to have used somebody else's research without proper attribution." Monday's complaint‚ which was filed anonymously‚ comes as Harvard is facing questions about the integrity of its research affiliates and the ideology of its diversity bureaucrats‚ most of whom report to the sprawling office that Sherri Ann Charleston oversees. — (@) "The 2014 paper appears to be entirely counterfeit‚" Peter Wood told the Free Beacon. "This is research fraud‚ pure and simple." Charleston received her Ph.D. in history from the University of Michigan and her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. After first serving as the assistant vice provost for DEI and chief affirmative action officer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison‚ she was named DEI czar at Harvard on June 22‚ 2020. At the time of her appointment‚ former Harvard president Lawrence Bacow — Gay's immediate predecessor — touted Charleston as an "interdisciplinary scholar whose work at the intersection of history and law informs her efforts to translate theory into practice that improves higher education." When celebrating Charleston's "scholarship‚" Bacow did not give partial credit to LaVar Charleston. The Free Beacon indicated that an expert review of the allegations against the DEI czar turned up everything from minor plagiarism to possible data fraud. It is unclear whether Charleston will take a page out of Claudine Gay's book and similarly resign in disgrace. Gay stepped down on Jan. 2 after being hit with nearly 50 plagiarism allegations implicating seven of her 17 published works‚ including her 1997 doctoral thesis. Gay painted herself as a victim‚ claiming in her resignation letter that she found it frightening "to be subjected to personal attacks and threats fueled by racial animus." Charleston‚ her husband‚ and the Journal of Negro Education reportedly did not respond to the Free Beacon's requests for comment. Charleston and Gay are not the only so-called scholars at Harvard who have been accused of academic improprieties this month. Blaze News recently reported that four research scientists with faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School were accused earlier this month of manipulating data in their published research. The four academics accused were Laurie Glimcher‚ CEO of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute‚ one of Harvard's teaching hospitals; William Hahn‚ the institute's COO; Irene Ghobrial‚ director of the Clinical Investigator Research Program; and Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center program director Dr. Kenneth Anderson. The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute indicated last week that there were retractions under way for six manuscripts and that another 31 were flagged as "warranting corrections." THIS is the ONLY bill Biden needs to sign to secure the border

In a shocking twist‚ President Biden suddenly cares about the invasion at the border. After years of denying a border crisis‚ the president has promised to “shut down the border right now” if given new emergency powers in a bill passed by Congress. However‚ Glenn Beck isn’t so sure new emergency powers are what Biden needs — nor does he believe the President is actually concerned for the people immigration is affecting the most. “I just don’t think that we need any of those special emergency powers‚” Glenn says‚ noting that NBC compared the emergency powers to those introduced during COVID. In Biden’s hands‚ those new emergency powers could do more harm than good‚ especially as he’s doing whatever he can to punish those who have been fighting for the border to close all along: Texans. The state has refused to back down and hand over control of Shelby Park in Eagle Pass‚ Texas‚ to federal authorities. Over 20 other states have shown support for Texas as its citizens fight to stop the invasion. However‚ on Friday‚ Biden then banned all new liquid natural gas export approvals‚ which will greatly hurt Texas’ economy. “I want to make things better for the people in Texas‚ that’s why I’m going to shut down 30% of all of America’s supply just coming out of Texas‚” Glenn mocks. Want more from Glenn Beck?To enjoy more of Glenn’s masterful storytelling‚ thought-provoking analysis‚ and uncanny ability to make sense of the chaos‚ subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America‚ defend the Constitution‚ and live the American dream.

Woman survives trash compactor after she fell into a dumpster and was thrown into a garbage truck

A woman survived a lengthy but unknown amount of time in the back of a garbage truck when she was flung into the vehicle after falling into a dumpster while allegedly throwing out her garbage. The Manchester‚ New Hampshire‚ woman "fell into a dumpster while she was throwing away her garbage and was scooped up and driven away during trash pick-up‚" reported WMUR-9's Arielle Mitropoulos. The driver of the garbage truck said that he only saw the woman in the back of the truck because of a camera located inside the vehicle. Local witnesses also said they could hear the victim screaming."They came to pick [our garbage] over here‚ and [the driver] heard screaming‚ so we thought something really bad was out there happening‚" one man said.By the time the driver noticed the woman was inside the vehicle‚ the garbage truck had already compacted its components four times."In 32 years‚ I've never seen anything like this my whole career‚" said fireman and Battalion Chief Bob Beaudet. "It's alarming‚ because you don't really think it's true."The chief's comments seemed to allude to the idea that the woman was possibly searching for items in the trash."You don't think it really happens‚ but in this day and age‚ times are tough‚ and people do different things‚" he added.City officials didn't know exactly how long the woman been in the dumpster‚ but the fire chief said she's very lucky the driver noticed she was in there.Shockingly‚ Beaudet said that when he spoke to the garbage truck driver he noted that this had happened before."I talked to the driver‚ he seemed to be okay. He said this wasn't the first time that this happened to him. So‚ that was definitely one for the books‚" Beaudet said in disbelief. The woman was pictured being lifted out of the back of the trash-collecting vehicle on a stretcher by fire crews. Rescuers had to use a crane in order to complete the rescue. She was taken to nearby Elliot Hospital‚ where she was reported to have suffered only minor injuries‚ despite the trash compaction. The woman reportedly lives in the neighborhood. Like Blaze News? 'Take Our Border Back' convoy heads to southern states to protest Biden admin's 'wide open' borders

A multi-state convoy of Americans fed up with the Biden administration's "wide open" border policies is currently headed to southern states to "shed light" on the migrant crisis. The "Take Our Border Back" convoy describes itself as a "coalition of concerned Americans from across the nation." "This is a lawful‚ peaceful gathering of concerned Americans‚" a January press release from the group stated. "The goal is simple ~ to shed light on the obvious dangers posed by wide open Southern borders."The coalition also aims to "request all laws of our U.S. Constitution be immediately upheld‚" "call for immediate action to secure our borders before irreversible serious consequences befall our nation‚" and put an end to drug and human trafficking. The convoy is welcoming all "active and retired law enforcement and military‚ Veterans‚ elected officials‚ business owners‚ ranchers‚ truckers‚ bikers‚ media‚ and LAW ABIDING‚ freedom-loving Americans" to join the protest. "Uniting 'We the People' in our resolute stand to send a PEACEFUL‚ LAWFUL‚ and clear message to all city‚ state‚ and federal politicians &; immigration enforcement officials who are enabling tens of thousands of illegal entrants‚ criminals and known terrorists from over 160 countries world-wide to cross daily into our country along our southern border‚" the press release continued.According to the group's website‚ the convoy kicked off in Virginia Beach‚ Virginia‚ on Monday morning and stopped off in Jacksonville‚ Florida‚ that evening. On Tuesday‚ the group set off to Baton Rouge‚ Louisiana‚ and plans to head to Dripping Springs‚ Texas. After hosting a pep rally in Dripping Springs on Thursday‚ the convoy will continue to Eagle Pass‚ Texas‚ and Yuma‚ Arizona. The group also plans to host rallies in Yuma‚ Eagle Pass‚ and San Ysidro‚ California. On Tuesday‚ President Biden (D) told reporters‚ "I've done all I can do" regarding the crisis at the southern border. "Just give me the power. Give me the border patrol. Give me the people. The judges. Give me the people who can stop this and make it work right‚" he added. "Have you done everything you can do with executive authority [on the border]?"\n\nBIDEN: "I've done all I can do. Just give me the power...! Give me the border patrol! Give me the people! The judges! Give me the people who can stop this and make it work right!" — (@) In December‚ the southern border experienced more than 302‚000 migrant encounters‚ the highest on record‚ according to Customs and Border Protection reporting. From October through December‚ there were over 785‚000 encounters. Last week‚ Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton denied the Biden administration's demands to allow federal agents to access a border park in Eagle Pass‚ Blaze News previously reported."As I said before‚ this office will continue to defend Texas's efforts to protect its southern border against every effort by the Biden Administration to undermine the State's constitutional right of self-defense‚" Paxton stated."Your request is hereby denied‚" he told the Biden administration. Rep. Cori Bush rolls out predictable excuse after she is revealed as target of DOJ criminal investigation

Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) confirmed on Tuesday that she is the subject of a Justice Department investigation related to her spending on security services. For years‚ Bush has been accused of unethically spending large sums of campaign dollars to pay for security services. But that scrutiny took a new turn last year when Bush married Cortney Merritts‚ whom her campaign has now paid more than $100‚000 for security services and "wage expenses‚" the Washington Post noted. In a statement confirming that she is the subject of a federal criminal investigation‚ Bush denied misusing taxpayer money."I have not used any federal tax dollars for personal security services. Any reporting that I have used federal funds for personal security is simply false‚" she said. The "Squad" member‚ though‚ appeared to confirm a detail about the investigation: that it centers on the money she has paid to her now-husband. Bush said:In particular‚ the nature of these allegations have been around my husband's role on the campaign. In accordance with all applicable rules‚ I retained my husband as part of my security team to provide security services because he has had extensive experience in this area‚ and is able to provide the necessary services at or below a fair market rate. However‚ what Bush failed to include in her statement is a central critique of her husband's security work: that he lacks a private security license. The New York Times‚ citing sources familiar with the investigation‚ confirmed that federal investigators are focusing on "Ms. Bush's security expenditures and the involvement of Mr. Merritts."Predictably‚ Bush blamed the DOJ investigation on "right-wing organizations" and "baseless complaints" that she claimed are "simply not true‚" positioning herself as an honest lawmaker who is being unfairly targeted."I am under no illusion that these right-wing organizations will stop politicizing and pursuing efforts to attack me and the work that the people of St. Louis sent me to Congress to do: to lead boldly‚ to legislate change my constituents can feel‚ and to save lives‚" Bush said. Police arrest male — with 42 previous charges‚ arrests — yet again and release him. But his freedom lasts just a few minutes.

A 45-year-old male with 42 previous arrests and charges on his record was cuffed yet again Friday in Springfield‚ Illinois‚ for criminal trespass‚ the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office said. That evening‚ James J. Kirst was released from jail on a notice to appear‚ authorities said. But he apparently was in no mood to celebrate — or just missed being behind bars.Exactly 15 minutes after Kirst was released‚ authorities said he called them saying he threw a metal pole through the front entrance of the Sangamon County Building in Springfield. Image source: Sangamon County (Ill.) Sheriff’s OfficeSo‚ police arrested Kirst yet again‚ authorities said. What are the details?Authorities said Kirst received his notice to appear at 7:34 p.m. — and then at 7:49 p.m.‚ Kirst made the phone call about throwing the metal pole. Authorities said they found Kirst in the lobby of the Wyndham Hotel and arrested him without incident. Google Maps indicates the hotel is about a six-minute walk from the county building.Kirst is charged with criminal damage to government supported property over $500‚ which is a class 3 felony‚ authorities said. Kirst was still in custody at the time of the sheriff's office announcement Monday‚ officials noted.Authorities added that Kirst has "42 previous arrests/charges" on his record and that he refused to attend his first court appearance. The estimated cost of damages is $3‚500‚ authorities added. How are folks reacting?Commenters reacting underneath a WCIA-TV story about the incident published on Yahoo! News were taken aback by it all:"42 previous arrests‚ and he was released again?" one commenter asked rhetorically. "What judge with cement in their cranium keeps releasing him?""When it becomes better to be in jail than be free being a productive citizen working‚ it’s past time to make jail a place no one wants to go‚" another commenter wrote. "Three hots and a cot and watching TV‚ etc.‚ needs to be exchanged for their work in prison doing something constructive that is useful to the general public. No more free rides in jail! Hard labor needs to come back‚ and I bet we would see the jail population decrease.""What infuriates me is that people who do what this man has been doing ... clearly need psychiatric help‚" another commenter stated. "He really can't help what he's doing. 42 arrests. There is no proper program or facility for him that will actually help him‚ so they keep locking him up in jail‚ releasing‚ and repeat. What we‚ as a nation‚ are doing to people who need serious help is shameful."Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors‚ sign up for our newsletters‚ and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Disgusting: Ilhan Omar pledges alliance to Somalia first‚ Muslims second‚ and America ... never?

Representative Ilhan Omar has come under fire after giving a speech during which she pledged her allegiance to “Somalians first‚ Muslims second.” “Many Somalians have personally called me to encourage me to speak to the U.S. government and help Somalia‚” Omar told the audience. “My answer to Somalians was that the U.S. government will only do what Somalians in the U.S. tell them to do!” “They will do what we want and nothing else. They must follow our orders‚ and that is how we will safeguard the interest of Somalia‚” she continued. “The U.S. is a country where one of your daughters (myself) is in Congress to represent your interest.” Pat Gray and Keith Malinak are not surprised but not pleased either. “Has she been deported yet?” Malinak asks. Gray answers with another question‚ “Has she been removed from office?” “I don’t care if you deport her or not‚ get her out of office. That is outrageous‚” Gray adds. Gray believes it’s the most “egregious” thing he’s ever heard from a U.S. representative. “In their language‚ talking about their country‚ with their interests of that nation over America’s interests‚” Gray scoffs. Want more from Pat Gray?To enjoy more of Pat's biting analysis and signature wit as he restores common sense to a senseless world‚ subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America‚ defend the Constitution‚ and live the American dream.

Here’s the unfiltered truth: Fight back now or lose the republic

Happy new year! We still get to say that for one more day. With a new year comes new changes. My new BlazeTV show‚ “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered‚” started Monday night. What better time to launch a new series‚ especially when the country is engaged in a full-on constitutional crisis at our southern border with the possibility of an armed conflict? It’s a time when Iran is daring us to engage in a full-blown war. Are you angry yet? The situation could not be clearer: The chaos and discord that you see and feel in this country are happening by design. It’s a time when the weaponized federal bureaucracy is throwing people in prison for decades over an “insurrection” that never was at the same time they call you a fascist for believing in law and order. It’s a time when the radical left is pushing children to be sterilized and mutilated and screaming “transphobic bigot!” if you don’t agree. It’s a time when all the experts you thought could be trusted turned out to be bought-and-paid-for extremist pawns of Big Pharma and the medical-industrial complex. That should hardly come as a shock knowing Obamacare has been a nearly $5 trillion-a-year “health care” money pit that has done little to improve Americans’ health‚ as everyone you know is seemingly sicker‚ dying of diabetes‚ Alzheimer’s‚ heart disease‚ cancer‚ and “sudden cardiac events.” But don’t worry. Just keep “trusting the experts.” It’s a time when entire industries that used to hire exclusively on merit and expertise for your satisfaction and safety now just have DEI requirements to fulfill — or is that DIE? Let’s hope you don’t end up finding out on your next flight. It’s a time when kids now go to school to be taught the alphabet letters L‚ G‚ B‚ T‚ and Q‚ rather than learning reading‚ writing‚ and arithmetic. They may not graduate knowing how to write at a high school level‚ but they will be able to recite 99 genders upon command. It’s a time when words mean nothing‚ because words are just manipulated and weaponized to mean what the radical left wants them to mean. If you believe in less government and more freedom‚ you’re somehow “literally Hitler.” If you believe people should be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin‚ you’re the racist. Up is down‚ down is up‚ evil is called good and good evil. Not only does the Bible give a warning about times such as these‚ but it’s also straight out of George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984.” He called it Newspeak‚ a language favored by the minions of Big Brother and‚ in Orwell’s words‚ “designed to diminish the range of thought.” Newspeak was characterized by the elimination or alteration of certain words‚ the substitution of one word for another‚ the interchangeability of parts of speech‚ and the creation of words for political purposes. Sound familiar? “Insurrectionists‚” “domestic terrorists‚” “MAGA extremists.” We can’t even define the word “woman” any more. And just last year alone‚ Merriam-Webster added nearly 700 words and changed heaven knows how many other definitions to suit their agenda. Are you angry yet? The situation could not be clearer: The chaos and discord that you see and feel in this country are happening by design. The more the powers that be can squash your safety and security‚ the more they can control you. And control you they will. They want to tell you what you can buy‚ where you can travel‚ what you’re going to eat — maybe bugs‚ you know‚ for the good of the environment. You’ll own nothing and be happy. And while you’re at it‚ muzzle your kids‚ jab them with poison‚ and come back for the next booster‚ all because they care about the children! Well‚ not the children in the womb. Those they want you to kill and call it “empowerment.” America is at a precipice. Either we just roll over and surrender to the new world order‚ or we fight back. Now‚ I made a promise to myself a long time ago that I would fight like hell for the survival of the republic so I could tell my kids I did everything I could to save this country for them. And I intend to do so. I hope you’ll join me. Watch “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” Monday-Friday at 7 p.m. ET or on demand at BlazeTV.com.
