A Democrat Makes Sense on Why They Failed Miserably

Fareed Zakaria reviewed the reasons Kamala Harris lost the election. At about 03:20 on the tape below, he explains why they lost in his estimation. Sentinel rarely agrees with him on anything, and we don’t agree with everything he says here. However, he makes some brilliant points. The liberals should listen, and we suggest they […] The post A Democrat Makes Sense on Why They Failed Miserably appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Costco Recalls Butter That Didn’t Warn There Was Milk In It

Costco is recalling 80,000 pounds of its butter because the label doesn’t mention it contains a crucial allergen as an ingredient – MILK. Butter is made from cow’s milk. This is so dumb that it sounds like satire. However, it’s not satire. In early October, the FDA sent out an initial recall on Kirkland Signature […] The post Costco Recalls Butter That Didn’t Warn There Was Milk In It appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Suspended San Jose State University Coach Continues To Speak Out Against Trans-Identifying Male On Team

Suspended San Jose State University women’s volleyball associate head coach Melissa Batie-Smoose said that “safety is being taken away from women” and has continued to speak out against a trans-identifying male, Blaire Fleming, on the team. “Safety is being taken away from women,” Batie-Smoose told Fox News’ “America Newsroom on Monday. “Fair play is taken away from women. We need more and more people to do this and fight this fight because women’s sports, as we know it right now, will be forever changed.” Batie-Smoose was suspended indefinitely from her job when she took the side of the women on the team who didn’t want to play with the biological male player, after she filed a Title IX complaint against her school. In the complaint, the suspended coach alleged that the trans-identifying male player “conspired with an opponent to help the team lose a match and injure teammate Brooke Slusser,“ who has spoken out about the inclusion of trans players in women’s sports, the New York Post noted. After the suspension came down on November 2, SJSU released a statement that the associate head coach of the women’s team “is not with the team at this time, and we will not provide further information on this matter,” OutKick reported. Coach Batie-Smoose from SJSU just showed us what true leadership looks like. By risking & ultimately losing her job, she’s standing up for her athletes & the future of women’s sports because ‘safety & fair play are being taken away for women.’ Her courage should inspire us all!… pic.twitter.com/HEyoP8yUqk — Kaitlynn Wheeler (@WheelerKaitlynn) November 11, 2024 Batie-Smoose said following news of the discipline, “This is just another form of what San Jose State has been trying to do – silence people that are speaking up for their First Amendment rights and for what’s right,” the outlet noted. Slusser later reacted to Batie-Smoose’s suspension and said the women on the team “aren’t happy and we don’t feel safe anymore,” OutKick reported. “Melissa was that person that we felt like as long as she was there, we had someone that would stand up for us. And now there’s no one there that will.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “I don’t think the school sees how much they just basically ruined this program by taking Melissa away from us,” she added. “So, who knows what’s to come in the future [with regard] to what our team will do or how we will react from this.” Five schools have forfeited playing SJSU in protest of the biological male star player on the CA team. Those schools include Southern Utah University, Boise State University, the University of Wyoming, Utah State University, and the University of Nevada. UNR was initially resistant to canceling its women’s volleyball match after members of UNR’s women’s team refused to play against SJSU and Fleming. “We, the University of Nevada Reno women’s volleyball team, forfeit against @SJSU and stand united in solidarity with the volleyball teams of Southern Utah University, Boise State University, the University of Wyoming, & Utah State University,” the statement read in part, as previously reported. Later, the university released its own statement showing it did not support the move by the women’s team.  Backlash ensued against the school, however, and vocal advocates called on the girls to hold the line and refuse to play, as previously reported. Actress Drops Hilarious Critique Of AOC Video Lamenting Trump’s Victory

Hollywood star and filmmaker Justine Bateman dropped another hilarious film critic’s take on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) latest video lamenting President-elect Donald Trump’s victory. The 58-year-old actress broke down the new video from AOC in the latest installment of Bateman’s ongoing #SocialMediaVideoCritique series on X, in which she reacts to those posting meltdown videos about Trump’s win. Rather than pointing out things like poor messaging or simply mocking their outbursts, Bateman has some fun focusing instead on the backgrounds, lighting, and camera angles. “The director delivers a piece full of subliminal messages,” Bateman wrote. “The camera is hand-held and uneasy, telegraphing uncertainty and confusion.” “The actress’ left hand comes up and cups the chin repeatedly, indicating the character’s deep desire for a beard, a covering,” she added of AOC. “The dialogue is almost inconsequential, serving merely as a means to showcase the visual clues in the piece.” #SocialMediaVideoCritique – The director delivers a piece full of subliminal messages. – The camera is hand-held and uneasy, telegraphing uncertainty and confusion. – The actress’ left hand comes up and cups the chin repeatedly, indicating the characters deep desire for a beard,… https://t.co/2P6yw6k84A — Justine Bateman (@JustineBateman) November 12, 2024 “The background is the star here. The chaotic blend of blacks and grays is almost a blurred representation of Picasso’s ‘Guernica,’” Bateman continued. “But here, the production designer strays slightly with a red accent at the right side of frame, bringing an immediacy to the piece, and making the ‘Guernica’ reference unmistakably modern. Fin.” In an earlier post from AOC,  the actress critiqued the New York Democrat’s post-election hysteria video and wrote, “Again, we see this lighting mistake that many are making. Notice the vague, overhead lights, the absence of a ‘key light’ on her face, and the way her face is flattened as a result.” “However, the dialogue is a major issue here,” she added. “There are very long sentences spoken that are difficult to follow, and don’t suit the short duration of this video. A rewrite could help a lot to simplify and focus the intent. The wardrobe of a white shirt doesn’t give us much … information about the character…” In one of the other videos Bateman critiqued, a woman (not AOC) was crying and freaking out, having an utter meltdown over the election results — and Bateman wrote, “My biggest problem with this is that it feels like it was take 2 or take 3. The emotional performance feels drummed up, like it was fresh on take 1, but they couldn’t really get the same intensity back on subsequent takes.” “The second major issue is the unpredictability of the camera movements. Because the emotions are high, the scene would have benefitted from a locked-off camera position, or a slow, graceful movement. The jiggling of the camera doubles down on the emotions, and is overkill.” Related: Actress Delivers Brutal Film Critic’s Take On Trump Victory Meltdown Videos

Trump Names Next CIA Director

President-elect Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he is selecting John Ratcliffe, the former Director of National Intelligence, to lead the Central Intelligence Agency. Trump said in a statement that Ratcliffe “will be a fearless fighter for the Constitutional Rights of all Americans, while ensuring the Highest Levels of National Security, and PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.” Ratcliffe, a former congressman representing Texas’ 4th District, was awarded the National Security Medal by Trump in 2020 after he spoke out against the FBI and Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation into the spurious claims of Trump’s ties to Russia. Shortly before the 2020 election, Ratcliffe declassified information about the 2016 election that suggested Hillary Clinton’s campaign approved a plan to “stir up a scandal” against Trump that tied him to the Russians. “From exposing fake Russian collusion to be a Clinton campaign operation, to catching the FBI’s abuse of Civil Liberties at the FISA Court, John Ratcliffe has always been a warrior for Truth and Honesty with the American Public,” Trump added. Before his time in Congress, Ratcliffe served as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas. He was a congressman for five years before he was tapped by Trump to become the Director of National Intelligence in 2020. Ratcliffe was also floated as a potential pick for Trump’s attorney general. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ The new Trump administration is quickly taking shape as the president named people for multiple positions this week, including former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) as the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., and former Arkansas Republican Gov. Mike Huckabee as the U.S. ambassador to Israel.

“Wheel Of Fortune” Player Has “Hilarious Little Missolve” & Goes Viral

Wheel Of Fortune has been part of American television for nearly 50 years. Millions of us have tuned into the game show and played along at home. We’ve watched some incredible players guess puzzles that seemed impossible. There have also been times when we’ve watched constants flounder and sometimes wondered how the heck, they got it wrong. Unfortunately for them, those missed puzzles can cause embarrassing TV moments. A recent Wheel of Fortune blunder might go down in history as one of the worst. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Wheel of Fortune (@wheeloffortune) This “Wheel Of Fortune” Contest Seemed Pretty Confident In an episode that aired November 11, a contestant named Will had most of the letters turned over when he decided to solve the puzzle. It seemed pretty obvious to those at home watching and other guests on set. The missing letters would have completed the puzzle, “Give yourself a round of applause.” But poor Will said something else entirely. He told host Ryan Seacrest he wanted to solve and said, “Treat yourself a round of sausage.” After his incorrect answer, fellow contestant Kitina solved and won the round. The Wheel of Fortune host joked, “Will, I kind of like yours better.” Of course, Will’s clip made its way onto the internet, and people began to roast him. Wheel of Fortune shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “Playing Wheel of Fortune on stage is a whole different ball game than playing at home, but Will was a great sport about his missolve!” Correspondent Maggie Sajak commented, “So great! And shoutout to Will for being a great sport and for making us laugh right along with him!” Maggie interviewed Will and asked, “Alright Will, we had a little missolve in the first game… that’s okay, could you walk me through how you’re feeling?” “I tell you, when the lights are on, and you know, the stars and Ryan Seacrest, Vanna White… I just went blank,” Will said. “But, if your dad, in retirement, is watching this show, maybe cracks a beer and gets a laugh, it was worth it,” he added. Fans loved it. One wrote, “That was hilarious! He had a good game though!” This person understood the pressure. “My sister was on Wheel of Fortune, you sometimes blank out! I’d probably be the same.” You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. The post “Wheel Of Fortune” Player Has “Hilarious Little Missolve” & Goes Viral appeared first on InspireMore.
