Kitten raised by dogs jumps after them into water when they want to play

Most people think that cats and dogs are the worst of enemies but that’s not always the case. A unique kitten named Marlin defies the norms of feline behavior‚ embracing a life more akin to that of his canine siblings. Raised by dogs from a tender age of five and a half weeks‚ Marlin’s story‚... The post Kitten raised by dogs jumps after them into water when they want to play appeared first on Animal Channel.

Long-separated horse brothers have touching reunion even their handlers can’t ignore

We’ve all heard the conversations about animals and their capability to feel emotions or lack thereof. Most of us believe that somehow‚ in some way‚ animals can feel love‚ attachment‚ gratitude‚ and longing‚ among other things. It’s heartwarming to think that our pets and animal companions express these things in their ways but it’s even... Chris Cuomo: Dean Philips’s Biggest Hurdle Is Media Not Showing ‘Love’

While the media largely kept the focus of Tuesday’s New Hamsphire primary on the Republican side and largely ignored the Democratic side‚ President Biden had a launch a last-minute and desperate write-in campaign to prevent being upstaged by challenger Congressman Dean Phillips (MN). Phillips managed to score nearly 20 percent of the vote despite the liberal media barely covering his campaign; and during NewsNation’s coverage that evening‚ co-anchor Chris Cuomo pointed out how the liberal media didn’t want to show him any “love.” Contrary to how most of the liberal media tried to talk about Phillips sparingly‚ he was brought up multiple times by the NewsNation anchors. Cuomo and co-anchor Dan Abrams even called out the liberal media for largely refusing to give him the time of day‚ essentially suppressing his campaign: CUOMO: You know‚ the problem for Phillips is I don't know how much of the media wants to love him up. ABRAMS: Particularly not the left-wing media. CUOMO: That's right. And create a race with Biden the way they do on the right. With the votes still being tallied‚ at one point in the night‚ Phillips had an impressive 25 percent of the vote. “He's got about 25 percent of the vote. Obviously‚ Joe Biden is a write-in candidate because he's not even on the ballot. But nevertheless‚ 25 percent for one alternative Democrat‚” Abrams marveled.     Former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R) called the performance “pretty big” considering Phillips was “a guy that got no attention‚ nobody even listened to or paid attention to.” “But he overperformed. People didn't expect 25 percent out of him‚” he praised. “There are an awful lot of Democrats who don't want Joe Biden. And there's a lot of Republicans who don't want Donald Trump‚” Hogan added. “About 70 percent of people country don't want either one of them and they don't want a rematch.” A few minutes later‚ Democratic strategist Hank Sheinkopf warned that Phillips’s strong showing despite the deck being stacked against him should be setting off alarm bells at the Democratic National Committee headquarters: Non-performance by the President versus Dean Phillips; something Chris Cuomo said earlier in the break. You know‚ and before that. Dean Phillips‚ the guy to watch‚ apparently‚ I mean‚ that's a story for tomorrow: Dean Phillips against the incumbent president of the United States getting those kinds of numbers. Unfortunately‚ Hank‚ as NewsBusters reported‚ Phillips’ overperformance was not mentioned by the broadcast networks Wednesday morning. The transcript is below. Click "expand" to read: NewsNation’s Decision Desk ’24: The New Hampshire Primary January 23‚ 2024 8:54:37 p.m. Eastern (…) DAN ABRAMS: What do you make on the Democratic side‚ Dean Phillips? He's shown – he's got about 25 percent of the vote. Obviously‚ Joe Biden is a write-in candidate because he's not even on the ballot. But nevertheless‚ 25 percent for one alternative Democrat. LARRY HOGAN (R-former Maryland governor): And I think it's pretty big. And I think the fact that they had to scramble at the last minute to do this write-in campaign because Biden was worried. A guy that got no attention‚ nobody even listened to or paid attention to got 25 percent. There are an awful lot of Democrats who don't want Joe Biden. And there's a lot of Republicans who don't want Donald Trump. About 70 percent of people country don't want either one of them and they don't want a rematch. ELIZABETH VARGAS: Yeah‚ Dean Phillips did spend a lot of time and ener— I mean‚ and I mean‚ while the rest of the country may not have heard of Dean Phillips‚ although I’ve had him on my show several times as have you [gestures to Abrams]. HOGAN: I know Dean Phillips. We’ve worked together with him. He’s a smart guy. VARGAS: But New Hampshire knew him well because he was— HOGAN: But he overperformed. People didn't expect 25 percent out of him. (…) 9:06:30 p.m. Eastern VARGAS: You've been delving into the demographic trends that you're seeing in New Hampshire. And you just said to me a moment ago‚ that there’s a lot of bad news for Democrats you're seeing in what you're looking at tonight. What is it? HANK SHEINKOPF (Democratic strategist): I'm not turning my Democratic registration yet‚ but it would be a good time to check it out. I look. Non-performance by the president versus Dean Phillips; something Chris Cuomo said earlier in the break. You know‚ and before that. Dean Phillips‚ the guy to watch‚ apparently‚ I mean‚ that's a story for tomorrow: Dean Phillips against the incumbent president of the United States getting those kinds of numbers. (…) 10:40:12 p.m. Eastern CHRIS CUOMO: You know‚ the problem for Phillips is I don't know how much of the media wants to love him up. ABRAMS: Particularly not the left-wing media. ABC‚ NBC Newscasts Ignore MASSIVE Standoff Between Biden‚ Abbott at the Border

After Monday’s Supreme Court ruling vacating a lower court ruling that had allowed Texas to place razor wire along the U.S.-Mexico border without inference from the Biden Border Patrol‚ the flagship morning and evening newscasts on ABC and NBC had moved on from the border showdown‚ even as tensions rose with Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) remaining resolute in having Texas Department of Public Safety and National Guard defend the porous border. The CBS Evening News and CBS Mornings‚ however‚ have stayed on the case and the border issue writ large‚ with a combined four minutes and 38 seconds between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.     Starting with the former‚ anchor Norah O’Donnell actually had two short segments and a news brief. O’Donnell began with the razor wire showdown: Now to the standoff between the federal government and the state of Texas at the southern border. The Biden administration is demanding that Texas allow Border Patrol agents full access to a crossing point in the border town of Eagle Pass and is currently being blocked by the Texas National Guard.  CBS correspondent Omar Villafranca then appeared from Shelby Park in Eagle Pass alongside lines of razor wire propped up by spikes lining the border‚ noting the area “didn’t always look like this” until Texas installed it and had put “armed Texas National Guard on standby.” This‚ the Biden regime had argued‚ meant “[f]ederal Border Patrol agents can’t even get full access to the park‚ which they say is a problem if they’re trying to reach migrants in distress” and‚ despite the 5-4 Supreme Court ruling‚ “CBS cameras...caught Texas National Guardsmen laying out more wire” this week. “Texas officials say they will hold the line. Federal officials say Texas should allow them full access to this park by Friday‚” he concluded. O’Donnell then went to the other short report on how Boston has resorted to sheltering illegal immigrants inside its Logan International Airport. Not surprisingly‚ this hasn’t received any attention on the major network newscasts (click “expand”): O’DONNELL: The repercussions of what’s happening at the border are being felt across the country‚ as Texas continues to bus migrants to major cities in the north‚ many of which are now completely out of space to house them. Our CBS Boston station captured this video‚ dozens of migrant families now allowed into the terminal at Logan Airport overnight because there is no room left at shelters. And‚ in Chicago‚ people are sleeping in buses while they wait for a place to stay. A big part of the problem is the ever-growing backlog of asylum cases. Right now‚ more than three million migrants are waiting for their cases to be heard in immigration court. Just last year‚ the backlog of cases was at two million. CBS’s Manuel Bojorquez is in Miami‚ which has the largest backlog in the country. MANUEL BOJORQUEZ: Well‚ Norah‚ this is Miami’s immigration court. And you can tell by the markers on the ground this is where people are told to line up. And on most days‚ you will find a line of dozens of people trying to get inside to see a judge and learn more about their fate. About 275‚000 cases of migrants placed in removal proceedings are pending in the Miami immigration court. That is the largest docket in the country. The average caseload nationally is now 4‚500 per judge and‚ Norah‚ just for context‚ the amount of cases pending before just the Miami court now is roughly the same as there was nationwide a decade ago‚ Norah. O’DONNELL: Good context. Manny‚ thank you. O’Donnell then finished with a news brief on bipartisan Senate negotiations on a border deal in exchange for aid for Ukraine. Fast-forward to CBS Mornings and fill-in co-host Dana Jacobson falsely claimed that‚ at “the southern border‚” Abbott has “refuse[d] to give in to federal law” and stop getting in the way of Border Patrol agents. As Villafranca would share moments later‚ the Supreme Court’s decision wasn’t the end of the line in this border dispute and “[b]oth parties will be in court next month.” Villafranca surfaced live and restated most of his report from Wednesday night‚ which largely painted the White House-preferred line that Texas was prohibiting the Biden Border Patrol — and not the other way around — from securing the border (click “expand”): We are here at Shelby Park right on the Rio Grande and the park is surrounded by this razor wire as far as the eye can see. Also within my line of sight‚ Texas National Guard armed and on standby. Now the feds say the state put up miles of the razor wire by the river‚ which can prevent them from getting to migrants in distress. Now‚ earlier this week‚ the Supreme Court ruled that Border Patrol agents could cut and remove that wire‚ but after the ruling‚ our cameras saw Texas Guardsmen uncoiling and preparing more wire to lay out.  Another issue is park access. Border Patrol says it doesn’t have full access to the park where many migrants illegally cross. State Troopers and Texas Guardsmen have it closed to federal agents. Now the Border Patrol says it needs full access to do its job. The Biden administration has ordered the state to allow Border Patrol agents into this area by Friday‚ but Governor Greg Abbott‚ he is in fact firing back at the Biden administration is saying the Biden administration is not enforcing immigration laws that are already on the books‚ and he says if the federal government won’t do it‚ Texas will secure its border. Of course‚ this is far from over. Both parties will be in court next month[.] Co-host and Democratic donor Gayle King had a hilariously misinformed response‚ telling Villafranca this wasn’t just “far from over‚” but it’s “very complicated.” It is not‚ in fact‚ complicated. Three words: Secure the border. And three more: Stop the flow. How about we start there? Medical Orgs Back Biden Admin Vaccine Censorship

Medical Orgs Back Biden Admin Vaccine Censorship

Five medical associations have filed a brief to the Supreme Court in support of the federal government’s efforts to censor free speech. The Missouri and Louisiana attorneys general filed the Murthy v. Missouri case‚ which could lead to a free speech victory‚ against the federal government for pressuring social media to censor content on COVID-19 vaccines and other policies. The American Medical Association (AMA)‚ however‚ along with four other similar groups‚ are siding with the Biden administration and against free speech in an amicus brief. According to an announcement‚ AMA and its allies assert that the government should be allowed to crush free speech‚ if it claims to be helping save lives. AMA whined that “disinformation diminished uptake of COVID-19 vaccines‚ which then limited the vaccines’ ability to save lives by controlling the spread of disease—thereby creating a compelling interest for the government to act.” Ironically‚ even healthcare and scientific experts‚ including mRNA scientist Dr. Robert Malone‚ were censored by social media. Independent journalist Lee Fang recently reported that vaccine maker Moderna coordinated with social media and private entities to censor speech and boost its profits. Besides the AMA‚ the American Academy of Family Physicians‚ the American Academy of Pediatrics‚ the American Geriatrics Society and the American College of Physicians filed the amicus brief supporting government censorship efforts. The brief‚ per AMA‚ argues that the vaccine saved thousands of lives and reduced the burden on the medical system. Thus the medical associations argue the government has a good reason for trying to silence alleged misinformation. Ultimately‚ however‚ the fact remains that the First Amendment protects speech from government censorship‚ regardless of whether some medical experts believe it is harming uptake of their suggested healthcare response. AMA cited FDA approval of vaccines even though the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines widely available to the public were never approved‚ only Emergency Use Authorized. “The declining vaccination uptake spurred by disinformation has also resulted in a resurgence of diseases—such as measles—that previously verged on eradication‚” AMA’s brief claimed. A number of the claims made online about COVID-19 that were censored for misinformation were later considered reasonable. For instance‚ NIAID official Dr. Anthony Fauci has admitted that social distancing was not scientific but arbitrary. The COVID-19 lab leak origin theory gained credibility even among some Biden officials‚ including the FBI. Meanwhile‚ Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo is just one of numerous healthcare experts warning against the serious injury risks of the COVID-19 vaccine. Conservatives are under attack. 'Drivers are gonna start fighting back ... somebody's gonna get knocked out': Bus drivers' union rep warns violent passengers

A union representative for bus drivers with the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority in Florida this week issued a warning to violent passengers.“Leave our drivers alone‚” union representative April Murphy said to WFLA-TV. “Pretty soon the drivers are gonna start fighting back. And you know‚ the passengers are gonna lose 'cause we got some tough people‚ girls and guys. So‚ you know‚ [if] it comes to that‚ somebody's gonna get knocked out." Image source: WFLA-TV video screenshotMurphy's warning comes after video captured a passenger who couldn’t pay a fare punching a bus driver in Clearwater‚ the station said. A timestamp on the video indicates the attack occurred just after 3 p.m. Dec. 22. “Footage shows a woman‚ who seemed upset‚ leaning over the safety barrier and punching the driver multiple times‚” Murphy noted to WFLA.Police are still looking for the suspect who's wanted for battery charges‚ the station said.Murphy added to WFLA that "our drivers are always under some sort of threat every day."She also told the station that she's been attacked herself: “Some guys hit me with a cane ... a real thick wooden cane ... I had bruises here‚ bruises here."Transit driver Kevin Sablan recounted to WFLA that "I've had people get in my face and [try] to call me‚ you know‚ certain racial names."He also told the station that “I’ve had multiple incidents with the same guy‚ and they just say he’s not allowed to ride my bus. But he continues to ride the system and have issues with other drivers."How are folks reacting?Commenters reacting to WFLA's Facebook post about the situation were decidedly in the bus drivers' corner:"Sad they are doing a job‚ a service to our community — [respect] them or don't ride‚" one commenter wrote."Carry a pistol! Problem solved‚" another commenter suggested."CCW!" another commenter declared‚ which is an acronym for carrying a concealed weapon.Like Blaze News?
