My hopes are high for GTA 6. We’re going back to Vice City (albeit a reimagined, modernized version) and, based on Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar’s ability to spin a convincing, epic crime drama has only gotten better in the past ten years. But the shadow of the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition still looms large over my memory. The ‘improved’ visuals effectively robbed GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas of all their identity and atmosphere. Forget the bugs and other technical problems - even when they were running correctly, the new versions of the classic Grand Theft Auto games just looked worse. Dragon Age: The Veilguard has an incredibly in-depth character creator with a wide range of customization options. Among some very important choices, such as your lineage and your class, is the choice of faction, of which there are six to choose from.

YouTuber games rarely go well, and with massive failures like the unreleased Yogscast game or boring mobile games like Pewdiepie's Tuber Simulator, it's hard to have faith in your favorite content creators to make quality titles. That said, there is some hope, and unsurprisingly, it's in the space of Game Development on YouTube.

Of the three different core classes offered in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, warrior is the one that allows you to fight like a proper brawler, using Rage as your primary class resource and a plethora of melee weapons as your tool of combat.

As the years go by, video game players' needs and desires change and evolve, and so developers adapt to the circumstances, even if that means transforming long-established franchises.

Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images 23andMe is laying off 40 percent of its employees, or over 200 workers, as the company attempts to recover from last year’s massive data breach and reverse its plummeting stock price. The genetic testing company also announced that it will shut down its therapeutics business. Though 23andMe says the restructuring plan will cost it around $12 million, it expects to save more than $35 million as a result, while “substantially” lowering operating expenses. 23andMe’s therapeutics division, which studied potential cancer treatments using its database of genetic material, will end all clinical trials, as the company considers licensing agreements or asset sales to “maximize” the program’s value. 23andMe has had a turbulent past year, with the...
