Illegal alien allegedly repeatedly rapes minor daughter, sent to another Mass. shelter instead of jail: Ex-facility director

A former director of a Massachusetts migrant shelter revealed disturbing accounts of child sexual abuse and violence.Jon Fetherston managed a migrant shelter in Marlborough from November 2023 to July 2024. The facility, a Holiday Inn, housed a packed 550 people, he told the Daily Wire.'A gentleman then drove his car into my office.'During his time running the shelter, he reported horrific incidents of widespread violence and child rape."There was a lot of violence," Fetherston told the Daily Wire. "Unfortunately there was a gentleman in the hotel that impregnated his own daughter and got very violent when the state removed her from the shelter."The Maine Wire released a June report that appeared to confirm Fetherston's account.Ronald Joseph, an illegal immigrant, reportedly raped his 14-year-old daughter on numerous occasions, including on their journey to the United States and after entering the country, the Maine Wire reported. The child was removed from her father's custody "on an emergency basis," according to records obtained by the news outlet. After losing custody of his daughter, Joseph reportedly "got very agitated and started yelling" at a shelter staff member, which led to the police being called.Rather than facing arrest, Joseph was given a Lyft ride — paid for by taxpayers — to another shelter in Massachusetts, which also housed women."They had me send them to Worcester County," Fetherston told the Daily Wire. "And I, for the life of me, don't understand why he wasn't locked up. A man who admits he committed rape, you're just going to put in another shelter so he can rape again another day? It makes no sense."Another individual, 29-year-old Gladimy Rodene, staying at the same Holiday Inn shelter, was apprehended after he was accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl and another resident at the facility."She told the police officer that she was raped multiple times. It was probably the most disturbing conversation I've ever heard in my adult life," Fetherston stated.Immigration and Customs Enforcement told the Daily Wire that it does not have detainer requests against Joseph or Rodene.Fetherston also recounted other violent episodes, including an instance in which a migrant drove a vehicle into his office. According to Fetherston, the perpetrator was retaliating against him for pulling back taxpayer-funded supplies."If you were receiving benefits and you were receiving those, then we were going to start scaling back on providing diapers, formula, and wipes," he explained. "That did not go over well with the migrants. They thought that they were being attacked. A gentleman then drove his car into my office."Despite Massachusetts' shelter system being overwhelmed by a massive influx of illegal immigrants, Governor Maura Healey (D) has firmly stated that state police will "absolutely not" collaborate with President-elect Donald Trump on his mass deportation strategy. She has committed to using "every tool in the toolbox" to "protect" illegal aliens from ICE.Marlborough Police did not reply to the Daily Wire's request for comment, and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities declined to provide a statement.Like Blaze News? School district, Mexican Consulate partner up to help illegal aliens deal with ICE — cancel meeting after backlash

A school district in Washington state had partnered with the local Mexican Consulate to offer illegal aliens tips about dealing with ICE and other law enforcement agents and canceled the informational event after a groundswell of opposition sprung up on social media. On Friday, Libs of TikTok shared a screenshot of a message that appeared to promote an event at Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood, Washington, a city of nearly 40,000 residents just 15 miles or so north of Seattle. The event promised recipients that they would "learn how to prepare for immigration raids."'ICE can just show up at the meeting.'In effect, this message as well as a flyer appeared to invite illegal aliens living in and around the Edmonds School District to gather at the high school, funded by taxpayers, and meet with various officials — including a representative from the Mexican Consulate — who would inform them about their "rights when approached, detained or incarcerated by police or immigration agents."Curtis Campbell, communications director for the district, further explained that the event would have mirrored those previously presented by the Shoreline Police Department, offering guidance about immigration documents, attending school, and finding childcare, ostensibly in the event of family separation. The district also noted that it was not paying the speakers, just providing the facility, the Post Millennial said. The event was scheduled to be held on December 17. However, officials canceled it after some on social media allegedly responded with "threats and harassment," according to FOX 13."We believe it is in the best interest of families and staff to not hold the event at this time," Campbell stated, the Lynnwood Times reported. The germane "threats and harassment" appear to be little more than online jokes. "Happy hunting everyone," read one response flagged by various outlets. "ICE can just show up at the meeting," read another anodyne post.Despite the seemingly harmless nature of the comments, local activists were taking no chances."This type of rhetoric is polarizing and harmful," wailed Melissa Rubio, the deputy director of One America, an immigration nonprofit."We are facing a very unfriendly federal administration that has already promised harm to immigrant communities," she continued, referring to the impending second Trump administration. "One of the first steps for people to protect themselves and their families is to know their rights."Even FOX 13 lamented that the district had canceled its "one and only 'Know Your Rights' session" designed to provide "critical information" to families in need.Since federal law forbids school districts from inquiring about a student's immigration status, it is difficult to ascertain just how many district students and their families might be affected by "immigration raids." Rubio suggested that the entire Washington economy largely depends on illegal immigrants providing manual labor at a cut rate: "If we deport every immigrant in this state, who will work in our restaurants, clean our hospitals, or pick the food we eat? Immigrants are invaluable to our economy and our communities."The Shoreline Police Department did not respond to Blaze News' request for comment.Like Blaze News? Homeowner who fatally shot break-in suspect told 911 that intruder had gun; wife, child also in residence

The Ohio homeowner who fatally shot a break-in suspect early Sunday morning told a 911 dispatcher that the intruder had a gun; the homeowner also told 911 that his wife and child were with him in the residence at the time of the break-in.WXIX-TV provided transcripts of the West Chester homeowner's call to authorities:Dispatcher: “Is anybody shot?”Homeowner: “I just shot someone — he [broke] into my house.”Dispatcher: “I know that he broke into your house and you shot him, but where did you shoot him at?”Homeowner: “He’s in my living room, he has a gun.”Dispatcher: “Is he breathing?”Homeowner: “I’m not sure.”The station said the homeowner told 911 that his wife and child were in the home when the break-in and shooting occurred. Here's another call transcript from WXIX: Homeowner: “How long is it going to take for them? I heard multiple gunshots like two minutes before he [broke] into my house.”Dispatcher: “OK, so you heard him shooting?”Homeowner: “Yes, like 10 or 12 times. It was upstairs before.”The homeowner, who said he lives on the second floor, first heard shots fired on the third floor prior to the intruder breaking in, the station said. The homeowner told police he heard a noise on his balcony, found an intruder in his residence, and shot the intruder.Other residents who live in the same apartment complex or nearby were frightened and worried, WXIX said, citing two other 911 calls. One caller who said she's a mother told 911 that she heard loud banging and noises for hours — and then gunshots, the station said.“It’s going again, there’s another bang — one, two, three, four, five shots fired. This is like the 10th or 11th shot,” the woman told 911, according to WXIX. “I’m sorry, I have to get my girl out of here. I don’t know what’s going on, OK?”The homeowner who opened fire said he didn't recognize the suspect, the station reported.Isaiah Erickson, 22, of Colerain Township was killed, WXIX said, citing the Butler County Coroner’s Office. Erickson was taken to the University of Cincinnati West Chester Hospital and later pronounced dead, the station added. The homeowner has been cooperative with police, West Chester police spokesperson Barb Wilson told WXIX. West Chester is about a half hour north of Cincinnati.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!
