Iowa School Shooting: Insight into Suspected Shooter's LGBTQ Ties

Early Thursday morning a disturbed individual entered Perry High School in Iowa and fired shots resulting in “multiple gunshot victims.” The suspect has been identified‚ and it turns out he was a deeply disturbed young man named Dylan Butler who reportedly had numerous ties to the LGBTQ community. Keep in mind‚ this story is ongoing. Details are still being released and are subject to change. But so far‚ reports indicate that the shooting started around 7:37 a.m.‚ just before school began for the day. AP News reported that "Police said a sixth grader was killed and five other people were wounded by a 17-year-old suspect in the shooting Thursday." Daily Mail reported that Butler is the suspected Iowa shooter who shot at people and then shot and killed himself.  According to images obtained from Butler’s TikTok account‚ the alleged shooter‚ who was reportedly a senior at the school‚ posed with a blue duffel bag on the ground of a bathroom stall and captioned it‚ “now we wait.” That image was posted “hours before the shooting took place‚” Daily Mail indicated and the song “Stray Bullet” was supposedly playing in the background. Other strange posts from Butler include one of him playing at a children’s playground pretending to be in a gunfight and using sticks as guns. Butler also once shared an image of graffiti that read “LOVE YOUR TRANS KIDS” and had the gay pride flag in his TikTok bio‚ according to Libs of TikTok. His TikTok account has since been deleted.  There’ve also been reports that Butler identified as “gender fluid‚” but again‚ police haven’t confirmed that. After these reports spread online‚ users were shocked‚ but honestly‚ not surprised given the mental state the alleged shooter seemed to possess. Here’s a few of those replies: This just gets worse and worse for the leftist narrative. They must hate that 𝕏 allows free speech and for this truth to be shared. TikTok deleting this shooter’s account just shows how they’re complicit in the cover up. Sad! — Paul A. Szypula 🇺🇸 (@Bubblebathgirl) January 4‚ 2024   They will never report on a mentally ill leftist extremist who belongs to the LGBT community. This story won’t get any coverage at all. It only does when it’s a “white supremacist” committing the crime. Follow me if you agree — Right Angle News Network (@Rightanglenews) January 4‚ 2024   It’s always the same people yet they don’t want us to point that out 🤔 — One Bad Dude (@Dorf73256527) January 4‚ 2024 Others insisted the story would be “memory holed” and posed questions like‚ “How long before the libs make the shooter the victim?” This is a tragic and heartbreaking event that needs to be covered to bring awareness to the fact that hurt people hurt people and Butler‚ if it’s confirmed that he is the shooter‚ was a hurt individual who needed psychiatric help. But it’s likely this‚ like the last school shooting that occurred by someone who supported the delusional identities of the LGBTQ mob‚ will be squashed in the media because it doesn’t fit the establishment narrative.

CBS Complains That Free Speech Hinders Censorship Efforts

A CBS News correspondent and her guest complained about free speech online heading into the 2024 election. For CBS News reporters‚ free speech is an obstacle to overcome ahead of the 2024 election. Senior Business and Tech Correspondent at CBS News Jo Ling Kent whined on Face the Nation Dec. 31 about there being not enough censorship. She specifically complained about how “bad information spreads constantly online and it is continuing to be very hard to stop especially with arguments and protections of free speech.”  Host Margaret Brennan asked‚ “The Biden administration has been concerned about what this will mean for our politics on the campaign trail‚ the use of deep fakes or misleading voters. What are the companies doing to prevent that?” Kent replied by critiquing tech companies. “The social media companies are telling me that they’re throwing every resource that they have to stop misinformation and disinformation‚” Kent said. “But the reality is that this is a sprawling‚ endless game of Whack-A-Mole.” But it seems Kent misses the fact that that is the point of free speech in the first place: to protect the speech that is often disliked without the fear of thought control.  As MRC Free Speech America Director Michael Morris pointed out‚ “Attempting to put a halt to so-called misinformation or disinformation through content moderation in the leadup to the 2024 election is just another way of pushing for more censorship. Kent appears to be complaining that Big Tech is not doing enough‚ and for the left it will never be enough‚ which is precisely the problem.” She favorably mentioned how Meta removes and fact-checks content on Facebook and Instagram‚ but scare-mongered about X. “Elon Musk and his team have basically allowed the return of conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones and they've also dramatically reduced the size of their trust and safety team‚” Kent said. The CBS reporter also noted the complications caused by adding artificial intelligence into the mix and accused Congress of not imposing enough regulation on Big Tech companies. “Congress does not have a good track record when it comes to regulating tech or social media‚” she said. It was unclear if Kent supported anti-free speech legislative action from Congress or not. Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency and an equal footing for conservatives. Rapper T.I. and wife Tiny accused of rape‚ false imprisonment by Air Force veteran in new lawsuit

Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris are facing a new civil lawsuit from a woman who claims the couple drugged and sexually assaulted her. The celebrity couple have vehemently denied the accusations. An anonymous woman filed a lawsuit against the rapper and his wife on Tuesday in Los Angeles. The woman claims she was introduced to the couple in 2005 through an associate named "Caviar." Jane Doe alleges she met Caviar the night prior at a party at the home of late rapper Coolio. Jane Doe alleges that T.I. — whose real name is Clifford Harris — and his wife spiked her drink after she was introduced to the couple in the VIP section of a Los Angeles nightclub. According to the lawsuit‚ "Plaintiff noticed that T.I. and Tiny were whispering to each other and pointing to different women around the club in a suspicious manner."Jane Doe — who was in her early twenties at the time — says that Tiny gave her an alcoholic drink. Jane Doe claims she went to a hotel room with the couple and two other women. The suit says the two women left‚ and Tiny took Doe's clothes. The couple joined her in the shower‚ which left her feeling "extremely shocked and uncomfortable.""While on the bed‚ T.I. allegedly turned on a pornographic movie and demanded Doe rub oil on his back and naked body‚" according to People magazine. "Then‚ Tiny joined them in bed and allegedly began to massage Doe‚ making her feel 'sick‚ disgusted and nauseated‚' according to the complaint."Tiny was "pinning" down Doe‚ the lawsuit states. T.I. "demanded she begin rubbing oil on his back and naked body‚" according to the complaint. T.I. is accused of making sexual advances on the woman‚ including penetrating her with his toes. However‚ she allegedly told him‚ "No‚" and then tried to get away from him. At the same time‚ Doe allegedly "grew increasingly sicker and felt extremely ill by the assault and battery she was experiencing."Doe vomited in the bathroom‚ then she emerged from the bathroom "naked‚ dazed‚ sickened‚ and weak." She allegedly passed out on a couch. The woman believed that she was drugged because she "could tell she was experiencing something serious and debilitating that was not a symptom of a typical drink or a few drinks."Doe was reportedly awakened by the sound of a security guard pounding on the door. Doe said "her vagina was in serious pain‚ and that she felt an itching and burning sensation."The woman said she was crying when she was escorted out of the hotel room while T.I. and Tiny were still in bed."Plaintiff did not consent to any of the sexual assault or misconduct and did not have the capacity to consent after being drugged by defendants‚" lawyers said in the complaint. Rodney S. Diggs‚ an attorney for the accuser‚ said: "Forcing someone‚ in this case by way of drugs‚ into doing something of a sexual nature they don’t want to is sexual battery — rape. Even after all these years‚ the embarrassment‚ shame‚ depression — it still lingers. Silencing women silences justice. No longer will my client remain silent; we are now seeking justice for her and everyone who has been similarly violated."At the time of the alleged sexual assault‚ Doe was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in Los Angeles. The woman is seeking unspecified damages for sexual battery‚ battery‚ sexual assault‚ negligence‚ false imprisonment‚ and intentional infliction of emotional distress.T.I.‚ 43‚ and Tiny‚ 48‚ "emphatically and categorically" denied the allegations."On the heels of positivity‚ negativity always rears its ugly head. For THREE years we have maintained our innocence and refused to pay these extortionate demands for things we didn’t do‚” the couple wrote. “For THREE years‚ we’ve maintained the same position while the claims in this story have changed time and time again. Our position is clear… We are innocent of these fake claims‚ we will not be shaken down‚ and we look forward to our day in court.”The New York Times reported in February 2021 that there had been a police investigation into T.I. and Tiny after four women accused the celebrity couple of drugging and sexually assaulting them. One of the women is an Air Force veteran. The alleged sexual assaults took place between 2005 and 2018. Lawyer Tyrone A. Blackburn noted that the alleged crimes were all "eerily similar." The women accused T.I. and Tiny of “sexual abuse‚ forced ingestion of illegal narcotics‚ kidnapping‚ terroristic threats‚ and false imprisonment."Blackburn also said the pair engaged in nonsexual intimidation‚ assault‚ and harassment. In September 2021‚ the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office declined to file charges against T.I. and Tiny because the case fell outside of the 10-year statute of limitations. The new civil case is filed under California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover Up Accountability Act — which extends the statute of limitations for sex abuse and assault victims to December 2026.Like Blaze News? Texas grand jury declines to charge man who fatally shot restaurant robber last year

A Texas grand jury has declined to bring charges against a Houston restaurant customer who fatally shot a robber almost a year ago. The failed heist and fatal shooting were caught on surveillance video that immediately went viral and drew national attention. Citing a news release from the Harris County District Attorney's Office‚ Fox News said the grand jury decided Wednesday to not charge the man who fatally shot 30-year-old Eric Eugene Washington in last January. What's the background? Houston police told KHOU in the station's original story that an armed man in a mask entered Ranchito Taqueria on South Gessner near Bellaire Boulevard just before 11:30 p.m. Jan. 5‚ 2023‚ and demanded money and wallets from customers. Surveillance video shows the crook going from table to table and taking cash. Soon one of the customers drew a gun and fired at the robber‚ who was walking past him. KHOU said in its broadcast that it froze the surveillance video before shots were fired but that the full video shows the robber being shot multiple times. KPRC-TV in its video report said nine shots were fired. Raw video: Customer at taqueria shoots robber as he was leaving youtu.be Customer who shot robber returned stolen money What's more‚ police told KPRC that the customer who shot the robber retrieved the stolen money from the robber’s pocket and returned the money to other patrons. In fact‚ KPRC said the customer could be heard on surveillance video saying‚ “Come get your money.” KPRC added that video showed the customer discovering the robber's gun was fake and throwing it against a wall in anger. Investigators told KHOU the robber's gun was a plastic pistol. Finally‚ the customer walked to the door‚ dumped a beverage on the robber lying on the floor‚ and walked out‚ KPRC said. Those inside the restaurant departed before police arrived‚ KHOU said‚ adding that there were no reported injuries among customers or restaurant staff. Some demanded charges against the "vigilante" customer who pulled the trigger‚ KHOU-TV reported at the time. But the restaurant's owner and employees called the customer a hero‚ according to another KHOU story. The "hero" sentiment was reflected over and over again in numerous comments under a social media post at the time from Houston police. The 46-year-old customer was never arrested‚ charged‚ or named. What do we know about the robber? KHOU‚ citing court records‚ said it wasn't Washington's first robbery: In 2013‚ he and others were charged with capital murder after a man was killed during an armed robbery‚ according to prosecutors. The charge was later changed to aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon‚ and Washington was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison. It's unclear exactly when he was released‚ but the most recent time he was arrested was Dec. 16 [2022] when authorities said he pushed his girlfriend to the ground and scratched her. Washington was charged with misdemeanor family violence and was released on a personal recognizance bond. Washington's mother said last year that the customer who pulled the trigger multiple times "abused" her son in that moment‚ KRIV-TV reported. "I don’t hate him. I can't hate him‚" Corine Goodman told the station. "But I want to know why didn’t you stop? If you had to kill him‚ I can deal with that. I can come to grips with that. He did something wrong. I understand that. But for him to be shot four times in the back leaving‚ and when he falls down‚ he shoots him four more times? You abused him. He was dead already. And that hurt. That hurts." 'It’s God’s side and the other side': Comedian Katt Williams calls out Hollywood stars as 'plants' and 'deviants'

Comedian Katt Williams called out a litany of Hollywood stars in an explosive podcast that has had multiple viral clips since its release.Williams spoke to former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe on his "Club Shay Shay" podcast which has over 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube.Williams has starred in numerous comedy movies and even a Grand Theft Auto video game while being a long-time stand-up comedian. The 52-year-old pulled no punches in the interview‚ labeling a number of celebrities as frauds. In one of the most widely-shared clips‚ Williams vehemently stated that the truth about certain celebrities would be exposed in 2024."They cancelled me for these things because why would you talk about another black dude? Race is not where the line is drawn‚ it's God's side and the other side‚" Williams told Sharpe."All of these big d*** deviants is all catching hell in 2024. It's up for all of them. It don't matter if you Diddy or whoever you is.‚" the comedian continued. "All lies will be exposed‚ that's all. And anyone who takes that the wrong way‚ know why they take that the wrong way. The truth is the light." Katt Williams was COOKING in this interview.\n\n\xe2\x80\x9cRace is not where the line is drawn. It\xe2\x80\x99s God\xe2\x80\x99s side and the other side.\xe2\x80\x9d\n\nHe leaves Shannon Sharpe speechless. — (@) In another clip‚ Williams called popular comedian Kevin Hart a Hollywood "plant.""Have we heard of a comedian that came to L.A. and in his first year in L.A. he had his own sitcom on network television and had his own movie called 'Soul Plane' that he was leading?" Williams asked. "Jussie Smollet [is] going to keep lying until you say 'we don't believe you.' It's important in the checks and balances of the universe that liars [do] not get to make complete narratives for themselves‚" he went on.Williams was by no means done there. Sharpe asked if he was "related" to the rapper Chris "Ludacris" Bridges‚ to which Williams described an offer that he and Ludacris received from the "Illuminati.""There was a crossroads where we were both invited to an Illuminati thing and it had to be one or the other of us and decisions had to be made‚" he described. "Both of us we were equal‚ one of us had to cut off all their hair and couldn't do the sideburns thing anymore with the points‚ and the next person‚ they said‚ was going to get $200 million because they were going to pay him $10 million [per] movie to do 20 movies.""That's how the conversation happened. One of those persons turned out to be Ludacris and the other person turned out to be Katt Williams‚" the comedian concluded. Katt Williams talking about how he turned down an offer from the Illuminati but rapper and actor Ludacris accepted it — (@) The Ohio native went on to accuse comedian Cedric the Entertainer of directly stealing one of his most-famous comedy routines and also called out lesser-known comedian Rickey Smiley. Smiley reportedly claimed that he was the first choice for a role Williams played in Ice Cube's 2002 movie "Friday After Next." However‚ Williams said that not only did he write all of the character's lines‚ but he specifically worked with the production crew to mold the character into his vision.Williams claimed from that point on‚ he made it a requirement that if he and Smiley were to appear in any future movies together‚ Smiley would need to wear a dress. In a subsequent 2008 movie called "First Sunday‚" Smiley appeared as a female alter-ego named "Bernice Jenkins."According to TMZ‚ Smiley denied any such contract and justified his use of a female character."Satan can't create anything‚" Williams also added. "That includes blessings for his people. That's why‚ you know what the number one job of somebody that sold their soul in Hollywood is? Is to act like it didn't happen."Like Blaze News? Is Tumblr making kids trans?

Daisy Strongin is a wife‚ mother‚ and de-transitioner who once truly believed she was a boy before finding Christ. Strongin cites feelings of being uncomfortable with her own body and femininity‚ which led to her transition — as well as being chronically online at the young age of 11 years old. It was 2009‚ and she had just gotten her first laptop. Strongin spent most of her free time online‚ focusing on YouTube and Tumblr before stumbling on a Tumblr community with the same interests as her: "Doctor Who" and "Sherlock." “I wasn’t at all looking for gender related stuff at first‚ but then the gender Tumblr stuff and the Doctor Who‚ Sherlock stuff — there’s some intersection‚” Strongin tells Allie Beth Stuckey‚ adding‚ “I think that a lot of the girls that were in those fandoms also felt like they didn’t fit in.” Strongin recalls stumbling on something that defined the term “gender queer” when she was in high school. “It was basically saying gender queer is when you feel like you’re neither male nor female‚ or like you’re a bit of both‚ and I really resonated with that‚” she explains‚ noting that the existence of the term made her feel better about herself because she wasn’t alone in her feelings. “Then I kind of fell into a rabbit hole of all of these other different made up identities regarding gender and people‚” Strongin says. While in some cases‚ kids are groomed by adults into believing they’re transgender‚ Strongin is adamant that it wasn’t adults — but mostly other young girls online. Then‚ she started watching YouTube videos of people documenting their transitions. “As I sort of dove into the gender community‚” she explains‚ “I started to convince myself that I’m probably trans‚ because there were a lot of influencers saying things like ‘If you think you’re trans you probably are.’” Then‚ she started to hear people online claiming that if you believe you might be trans and don’t transition‚ you’re more likely to “off yourself at some point.” Because Strongin was depressed at the time‚ she took the advice — or what Stuckey calls a “threat” — to heart. “Hearing that‚” Strongin says‚ “it went from being just like this silly little label that I felt like fit me and just kind of a personality trait really‚ to this is life and death.” Want more from Allie Beth Stuckey? To enjoy more of Allie’s upbeat and in-depth coverage of culture‚ news‚ and theology from a Christian‚ conservative perspective‚ subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America‚ defend the Constitution‚ and live the American dream.

Why conservatives should applaud Netflix

Why conservatives should applaud Netflix

Mention Netflix to your average GOP voter‚ and you’ll likely get a snort‚ if not words unfit for a family publication.Isn’t that the woke streaming service behind “He’s Expecting‚” the ghastly “Cuties‚” and endless‚ virtue-signaling originals? And let’s not forget Netflix’s massive deal with the Obamas‚ which recently produced a thriller during which the key characters share their distrust of white people. All of the above is true. (Although the latter film‚ “Leave the World Behind‚” is better than its angriest critics suggest.)But there’s another side to Netflix: champion of controversial comedy. It all started in the waning months of 2021. Netflix released “The Closer‚” the latest special from stand-up king Dave Chappelle. It featured several gags aimed at the trans community — as well as a touching ode to a late trans comic Chappelle befriended years earlier. Those on the left ignored the latter and trained its considerable firepower on the former. "How dare Chappelle tell trans jokes?" they cried. And then they marched. Some Netflix employees protested their bosses in plain sight. The media raged against Chappelle‚ and it looked as if Netflix would give in to the mob. Company CEO Ted Sarandos briefly backpedaled by criticizing his own company’s initial response to the outcry."I had a group of employees who were definitely feeling pain and hurt from a decision we made. And I think that needs to be acknowledged up front before you get into the nuts and bolts of anything … I didn’t do that. That was uncharacteristic for me‚ and it was moving fast and we were trying to answer some really specific questions that were floating. We landed with some things that were much more blanket and matter-of-fact that are not at all accurate.”It wouldn’t be the first time a corporate behemoth gave in to the mob or blindly did its bidding.Except Netflix's chairman of the board of directors‚ Reed Hastings‚ ensured that didn’t happen.“That special was one of the most entertaining watch specials we’ve ever had. We would do it again and again.”Even better? Netflix HQ told internal critics they could find another place to work if they disagreed with its programming.“If you’d find it hard to support our content breadth‚ Netflix may not be the best place for you.”Simple. Direct. Definitive. And time has proven Hastings to be a man of his word.A few months after this ultimatum‚ Netflix debuted a special by “right wing” comic (and frequent Joe Rogan guest) Tim Dillon. It closed out 2022 with Sebastian Maniscalco’s “Is It Me‚” which found the usually apolitical performer getting in a few digs at woke schooling. In 2023‚ the streamer threw its weight behind Shane Gillis. The success of the rising star’s “Beautiful Dogs” showed that Gillis’ pre-emptive firing by “Saturday Night Live” over “racist and homophobic slurs” was just the career boost he needed.Last month‚ Netflix gave free reign to young sensation Matt Rife‚ who opened his special “Natural Selection” with a crude‚ limit-testing domestic abuse gag. The usual suspects raged‚ but Netflix declined to respond to the micro-controversy.Been there‚ survived that. Most recently‚ Netflix unveiled new specials from both Ricky Gervais and Chappelle‚ each featuring the kind of unwoke barbs that would make many a streamer fear the inevitable backlash. The former’s “Armageddon” takes aim at leftist zealots of all stripes‚ from those policing “cultural appropriation” and pushing open borders to the increasingly unhinged gender ideologues. In “The Dreamer‚” Chappell tells an elaborate tale of meeting Jim Carrey on the set of “Man on the Moon” and being forced to pretend the method-acting funnyman really was Andy Kaufmann. The punchline? “That’s how trans people make me feel.”In both cases‚ the media raged‚ as did social media progressives. But the conflagrations quickly died down when Netflix refused to supply them with any oxygen‚ once again demonstrating that the best way to get the woke mob to move on is to let them know you won’t be cowed. It’s a lesson podcaster Adam Carolla swears by‚ and he’s been speaking freely for years without calls for his cancellation. When a powerful company like Netflix shows such a stiff spine‚ the message to the laughter police is even clearer.Imagine if the company had canceled Chappelle in 2021 and yanked “The Closer” from its streaming library. It’s likely that the freshly emboldened woke movement‚ smelling blood‚ would have tracked down other comedians for lesser “offenses.”Conservatives have every right to disdain Netflix’s terrible programming choices‚ not to mention its deal with the Obamas. But credit where it’s due. Is there another major Hollywood brand with such a laissez-faire approach to speech? To quote an album title from a more wild and crazy time‚ comedy is not pretty. For all its flaws‚ Netflix is the one major streaming platform willing to take this to heart.

Dem convicted of ballot abuse appointed vice mayor of Arizona city

A Democratic city councilwoman previously convicted of ballot abuse was recently appointed vice mayor of San Luis in Arizona‚ the Arizona Daily Independent News Network reported.San Luis Mayor Nieves Riedel and the city council decided in a 4-3 vote to name Gloria Torres the city’s next vice mayor‚ according to a December 14 press release. The decision was recommended by former Vice Mayor Luis E. Cabrera and supported by Council Member Matias Rosales. Torres was elected to the city council in 2000 and is currently serving her third term.“Apart from serving on the San Luis City Council‚ she has been an active member of Comite de Bien Estar‚ National Association of Latino Elected Officials (NALEO)‚ and the League of Arizona Cities and Towns. She has served on the Gadsden Elementary School District #32 Governing Board‚ Western Arizona Council of Government Regional Council on Aging and on the Yuma County Advisory Council‚” the city’s announcement stated.Torres said she is “thrilled to be appointed Vice Mayor of the City of San Luis.”In October 2022‚ Torres and Nadia Guadalupe Lizarraga-Mayorquin were charged with conspiracy and ballot abuse by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. The two San Luis women allegedly participated in a “ballot harvesting” scheme‚ collecting early ballots from voters and delivering them to a ballot box on August 4‚ 2020.The AG’s office accused Torres of collecting seven ballots from Lizarraga-Mayorquin. The illegal activity was reportedly captured on camera by David Lara and Gary Garcia Snyder‚ two Yuma County residents‚ the Arizona Daily Independent reported. The outlet further noted that former San Luis Mayor Guillermina Fuentes and another resident‚ Alma Yadira Juarez‚ were also convicted in 2022 for their involvement.Ballot harvesting is considered a class six felony under Arizona law.Torres’ vice mayoral appointment is baffling‚ considering she pleaded guilty in June to one count of ballot abuse — a class one misdemeanor — barring her from running for or being appointed to public office‚ KYMA reported. She was sentenced to two years of supervised probation and ordered to pay $2‚500 in fines. Despite pleading guilty‚ Torres was allowed to finish her current term as a councilwoman‚ which is set to end in December 2024.This incident was not the first time Torres stirred up controversy in local politics. While she was on the governing board for the state’s District 32‚ an Arizona Auditor General found that the district had “paid (local elementary school) employees for time not worked” and “wasted $65‚000 on unnecessary travel.” The district’s failures led to an employee stealing approximately $8‚000 from taxpayers.Snyder‚ a Republican who is running for the Arizona House of Representatives in Legislative District 25‚ told the Arizona Daily Independent‚ “I am both outraged and disappointed that a convicted ballot abuser has been elevated to this leadership position. The fact that a majority of the Council appears to have so little regard for our laws is an insult to residents‚ particularly in the Latino community. We are tired of this type of corruption and the Democrats so blatantly parading it in our faces.”“Promoting a convicted ballot harvester‚ who has played a key role in keeping the Democrats’ corrupt grip on our Latino communities‚ has to be a wakeup call for the Hispanic community in San Luis and surrounding areas‚” he added.Like Blaze News? Why female friendship is an absolute necessity

About a year ago‚ a dear friend moved in down the street. Her then-3-year-old and my then-2 A couple months later‚ she was cooking scrambled eggs in my kitchen after I’d just given birth a few feet over in the den. She took a photo I’ll cherish forever: my husband meeting his son for the first time. So it was with great joy that yesterday‚ I scooped her kids for a couple hours so she could also give birth in peace. It’s one thing to LARP on TikTok in an apron. But what does it mean to be a good homemaker? What does it mean to civilize children? Things couldn’t have gone better. Thank God. These moments of sisterhood induce a feeling of gender euphoria. People often ask‚ how do you manage three under 3? Why aren’t you losing your mind? The answer is multifaceted‚ but one plain truth comes through: by some mysterious grace‚ I’m surrounded by excellent women who seek sisterhood through motherhood. I simultaneously respect and rely upon my girlfriends. Suffering finds a solution in camaraderie. We are on the same team. We are in the trenches together — and the togetherness is what makes the difference. Among other things‚ this is what writer‚ mother of many‚ businesswoman‚ and doctor of political philosophy Lane Scott says about building a culture more friendly to families than the current one. How do we get beyond the ideological capture of traditionally helpful institutions‚ the unavoidable anti-natal propagandizing‚ and atomization in general? In the most recent episode of “Girlboss‚ Interrupted‚” we explore some of the answers Lane has to offer: self-government‚ sisterhood‚ and more. Scott speculates: The problem with the rise of “trad life” is that it's being presented as ideal as we are experiencing the loss of all of the institutions that we used to use to raise our children. Those are all‚ if not gone‚ then all severely compromised. So I’m asking what it means for a political movement or a political philosophy to tell women “men are working‚ and women are responsible for everything else‚” when everything else turns out to be quite a lot. I think what people don't really consider is the extent to which schools‚ daycares‚ libraries‚ public institutions of all sorts‚ help people to raise their children. Much of the challenge of recognizing the rot and taking yourself out is‚ first of all‚ how do you fill the day? How do you make your kids do anything? How do you make yourself do anything? How do you create a world of incentives and rewards? It requires an incredible amount of creativity. It requires a kind of feminine genius‚ and it does require both parents. In other words‚ if conservatives are going to ask women to revisit homemaking as a vocation‚ let alone homesteading or some of the more ambitious forms of #tradlife‚ it may be a good idea to get a more accurate sense of what that really looks like‚ not just for the sake of sanity‚ but to lift our sights higher. It’s one thing to LARP on TikTok in an apron. But what does it mean to be a good homemaker? What does it mean to civilize children? These are the unspoken questions that‚ if answered truly‚ can inspire greatness where we need it most.
