Her guest, Emily Osment, said her kids were also fans of the romantic movie, adding that it made her cry on first watch. Drew admitted to feeling confused that her kids had that much interest in her movies, knowing that they could be rejecting their parents’ preferences. She also found their interest in her past feats comforting and special. The 49-year-old is letting her kids do school plays for now, noting that she does not want to repeat her parents’ mistake of letting her be in the public eye too young. She was thrust into the spotlight at 7, after playing Gertie in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
