For all the media brouhaha about the supposed strength of the Biden-Harris administration’s jobs market, NBC’s flagship evening news show didn’t even bother to report on the "worst" jobs report in years released just before Election Day.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Nov. 1 that the U.S. economy embarrassingly added only 12,000 jobs in October—well below the 113,000 jobs prediction by economists. As reported by Fox Business, this figure is “the lowest tally since December 2020.” In addition, private sector payrolls declined 28,000 against a prediction of a 90,000 gain by LSEG economists. If that wasn’t bad enough, the BLS conceded that it overestimated total job growth in the previous two months by a combined total of 112,000. As Heritage Foundation economist EJ Antoni pointed out when the jobs report was released, “[T]his is bad.” Job Creators Network President Alfredo Ortiz called the chilling numbers the “worst jobs report” since the COVID-19 pandemic.  But NBC Nightly News couldn’t let Vice President Kamala Harris be saddled with a bad job numbers report just as voters head to the polls. So the outlet just ignored the story entirely. ABC World News Tonight and CBS Evening News, however, did report on the damning story, even though they did their utmost to downplay it. NBC also happened to find itself in hot water over a Saturday Night Live! appearance by Harris on Nov. 2. NBC’s potential violations of Federal Communications Commission rules raised serious concerns. Go figure.  NBC Nightly News, captained by insufferable anchor Lester Holt, didn’t even attempt to do the pathetic spinning that other liberal outlets like ABC and CBS did in blaming hurricanes and the recent strike at Boeing for supposedly being single-handedly responsible for grinding the U.S. jobs market to a screeching halt.  As Fox Business host Charles Payne retorted on X, “Jobs Report is a disaster and its disingenuous to assume ‘experts’ that contributed to consensus didn't factor into their estimates hurricanes and strikes.” Payne continued: “Moreover, huge negative revisions continue to reveal a much weaker labor market than the media and economists portray.”  Jobs Report is a disaster and its disingenuous to assume "experts" that contributed to consensus didn't factor into their estimates hurricanes and strikes. Liz Cheney. Trump jabbed at “war hawk,” Cheney, asking how she might feel if the guns were pointed toward her in a war? How would she deal with the consequences of wars that her and her father — former Vice President Dick Cheney — have pushed for? Rather, NBC, along with ABC and CBS for that matter, pushed disinformation suggesting Trump was threatening political violence. Conservatives are under attack. With ABC’s Good Morning America continuing to run through the tape Monday with more venom toward former President Trump and cooing over Vice President Harris, CBS Mornings predictably had the same idea by emphasizing Harris pledging “unity, collaboration, and freedom” with Trump mired in “grievances,” “personal grudges,” and “violent rhetoric.” CBS made sure to stand apart with some holier-than-thou lectures from John Dickerson and attempts by CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell and senior White House correspondent Weijia Jiang attempting to imply Harris has this election solidly won thanks to what they argue are some sizeable portion of silent women voters for Harris out of fear of their husbands. Co-host and Harris donor Gayle King got things started in the Eye Opener by huffing about Trump’s “angry closing message... including more violent rhetoric and personal grudges” and co-host Tony Dokoupil touted Harris as having “called for bipartisan unity in her final push[.]” Dokoupil had his own Trump take cuing up anti-Trump and abortion-obsessed correspondent Caitlin Huey-Burns: ‘CBS Mornings’ co-host Tony Dokoupil: “But while it is a very close race, the candidates’ messages could not be further apart. In fact, all the rallies we’ve been to in these closing days have been filled to the rafters with supporters cheering for every line, especially anything she has to say about young voters, about health care and, of course, about reproductive rights,” Cordes later said. Under the guise of objective analysis, King turned to Dickerson, who framed each candidate’s closing arguments as stark with Harris being “uplifting, optimistic” and respectful to our institutions whereas Trump embodied the opposite: Pompous CBS pundit John Dickerson pulls a Jon Meacham, lecturing Americans about what it means if Trump is elected... Naturally, King went first to Sullivan by lecturing him about Trump saying “dark” and “very offensive” things (click “expand”): KING: I’m going to start with you, Terry, because when — even the front page of The Wall Street Journal, the message: “The dark pitch gets a third airing.” You know, I know all his advisers say, please just stick to the immigration. PAYNE: Right. KING: Please, just stick to the economy. BURLESON: Stick to the script. KING: Stick to the script. He doesn’t do that. Is this cause for concern or at this late date, is it, this is who he is? Love him or — love him or leave him? TERRY SULLIVAN: As someone who spent several decades being a campaign adviser, it has got to be frustrating as hell for them. KING: Yes. SULLIVAN: But the reality is, he’s never listened to them, and it’s worked out pretty well sometimes and so, this is Trump being Trump, and he’s reverted a lot back to his old style. They ran a pretty disciplined campaign, by Trump standards, for this entire process, through the primaries, through the nomination process, they’ve done a really good job of being disciplined. KING: But being — Trump being Trump, every time I hear that phrase, because it seems to give him a pass on some very offensive things. SULLIVAN: Right. KING: Is that okay? SULLIVAN: You know, there’s — whether you and I think it’s okay, the voters think that he’s being authentic. And they may not agree with what he’s saying or the tone he’s saying, but they think that politics is way too scripted, that these people don’t mean what they’re saying. And most of them think, well, at least this guy believes what he’s saying. PAYNE: It depends on what you’re talking about when you say "the voters," which voters? SULLIVAN: Well, sure. PAYNE: Because your theory, if Trump is doing that, then he does not think he’s going after any swing voters. He thinks he’s only going after heating up his base. He doesn’t believe that he can vie for those voters in the middle. He can only turn up MAGA, which that is — that is a theory. I don’t know if I would believe in that theory as an electoral victory strategy, because it’s not what he did in 2016. As for Payne, Dokoupil at least called out Harris’s closing message screeching about Trump as a danger to the country as having been reminiscent of the one President Joe Biden deployed when he was in the race and we all know how it worked out for Biden. Shifting to the show’s third hour (aka CBS Mornings Plus), chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett weighed in the bananas poll out of Iowa claiming Harris is ahead by four points. While he argued “no one I know believes” this, he argued, in essence, that it could be true in spirit and have a wider meaning spelling “problematic” outcomes across the Midwest for Trump. Payne and Sullivan were also back, but joined this time by Republican strategist Leslie Sanchez with co-host Adriana Diaz wanting to continue this charade pushed in the earlier show by Jiang about there being a measurable silent women voters for Kamala Harris (click “expand”): DIAZ: [P]eople are leaving, women are leaving in spaces that women frequent bathrooms and — and that sort of thing saying, you know, what’s the — what’s the — the line that they’re using? Nobody needs to know. PAYNE: Your vote is — your vote is private. DIAZ: Your vote is private, basically. (....) SANCHEZ: Well, time and time again, the world has underestimated women only to be proven wrong. I mean, historically, I think you could argue the same case. We’ve been talking about a gender gap since the 1980s. And it was small. It was one or two points. Then it was really larger under Hillary Clinton in 2016. Right now, the breakdown that we’re seeing in the concern, I think Republicans have, they want to call that Iowa poll that showed Harris up an outlier, but with 65 and older women, 65, the granny vote, let’s say. There was a massive gap. I’m looking about 35 points. If you’re talking about independent women, it’s 28 points. So even if it’s a partial of that’s really a concern. But you have to go back almost a month before that. If you look at Selzer’s previous poll, 59 percent of the — of the voters overall did not support that six-week ban on abortion that has — that went into effect in January, sorry, in July. And you’re seeing some pushback that. And 81 percent of suburban women do not like this new restriction when it used to be 22 weeks. PAYNE: People, Republicans are wondering, did we overreach on abortion? Maybe they’re not wondering, but they should be wondering —      SANCHEZ: Well — well, they’re taking action. The friction is there. PAYNE: — did we overreach at the — at the state. (....) SULLIVAN: [T]he same polling shows the huge gender gap on the Democrat side where Republicans are supporting, I’m sorry, men are reporting Republicans by almost 20 points. PAYNE: And who’s the most reliable set of voters, right? We know that women tend to be more reliable voters. SULLIVAN: I understand. But —  but both sides, my — my only point is that both sides — well, I mean men voters, but — but — but both sides have a huge gender gap issue. And I think that’s what we’re looking at. And — and they — they offset each other pretty — pretty equally. SANCHEZ: You both had that silent voters like white men, black men, Latino men on the Trump side, and then you have independent women and even some Republican women on the Harris side, where that question mark is really unknown. On the eve of Election Day, the liberal ladies of ABC’s The View were so confident in Vice President Kamala Harris that they spent a good portion of it begging Republicans to vote Democratic. They even trotted out rejected former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney to try to appeal to them. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg even floated their guest as the next attorney general of the United States, and possibly the director of the FBI or CIA. Since facts don’t matter to ABC and they needed Harris to win the election, Sunny Hostin pushed the already debunked hoax the liberal media cooked up last week claiming former President Trump called her Cheney to face a firing squad. In reality, an honest showing of the full context (which The View didn’t do) proves Trump was talking about war hawks like Cheney not being witness to the wars they support, and how her opinion would change if she was there. “And then by far, in my view, the most serious direct threat against you,” she proclaimed, teeing Cheney up to keep pushing the big lie that he was threatening her: HOSTIN: Now, Trump's campaign said he was criticizing you willingness to start wars, and send American troops into combat without having seen combat. But now he's doubled down on his rhetoric calling you a war hawk who was to kill people unnecessarily, and calling you a disgrace. What is your reaction to the clip we saw? CHENEY: Yeah. I mean, look. He -- he's said this nonsense about sort of, you know, war hawk before, but what he did a couple of days ago, he's never done before; taking the step of saying, you know, nine rifles shooting her in the face, and he knows what he's doing. He knows it's a threat.     Later on in the gooey interview, pretend moderate Sara Haines praised Cheney for turning her back on her party and joining the Democrats at the ballot box. “And you not only endorsed her. You, for the first time ever, voted for a Democrat,” she touted. “So, I want to ask you how that feels, but I also want to ask, was any part of that -- this idea of reclaiming the actual conservative values of the party? Because I always say, to get the Republican Party back, they have to get it out of Trump's hands,” Haines wanted to know. Cheney proceeded to ramble on about how Republicans need to vote for Democrats to somehow save their party. She also condescendingly lectured Republicans who had stronger principles than her and were choosing to write-in another Republican rather than vote for any of the options. “And I want to make sure people all across the country understand you don't have that luxury. We have to defeat him,” she chided. Toward the end of the interview, Goldberg wanted to know if Cheney was also a trained lawyer. Upon getting an affirmative, she enthusiastically floated Cheney to be the next U.S. attorney general or a director of any of the alphabet bureaucracies because her “moral core is magnificent.” “I know you probably don't want to even think about it, but I just feel like I would feel a lot better with you leading the FBI, the CIA, the NBC, the LMNOP, everybody,” she proclaimed. “That’s just me. So, I’m just saying, should it be floated, please think about it.” Cheney didn’t want to think about it just yet. “We have to get Vice President Harris elected tomorrow,” she tried to brush it off. “I'm putting it in the universe because that’s how we do things,” Goldberg added. The Republican National Committee secured a significant legal victory for election integrity on Monday in a Democrat-run county outside of Atlanta, Georgia.The Georgia Supreme Court ruled that Cobb County, the third largest country in the state, cannot accept absentee ballots after the Election Day deadline, according to RNC chairman Michael Whatley.'Election Day is Election Day.'In a Monday afternoon post on X, he wrote, “HUGE election integrity victory in Georgia.”He explained that the county wanted to accept 3,000 late absentee ballots, but the court has blocked it.“We just got word that we WON the case. Election Day is Election Day — not the week after,” Whatley stated. “We will keep fighting, keep winning, and keep sharing updates.”RNC co-chair Lara Trump called it a “YUGE victory.”Last week, Cobb County officials admitted they were behind in mailing out more than 3,000 absentee ballots. Approximately a third of those ballots were requested by people outside of Georgia.Board of Elections Chairwoman Tori Silas blamed faulty equipment and a surge in late requests in the days leading up to the October 25 deadline, the Associated Press reported.“We want to maintain voter trust by being transparent about the situation,” Silas said. “We are taking every possible step to get these ballots to the voters who requested them.”Georgia’s early voting period ran from October 15 through November 1. However, some counties sought to extend hours for turning in absentee ballots in violation of the state’s laws.Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger stated, “Under state law, election officials can receive absentee ballots in person at govt facilities if the county chooses. Several counties have chosen to do this. We are working with the counties and the political parties to ensure this is done transparently and within Georgia law.”The RNC filed a lawsuit last week against several blue counties in Georgia, Blaze News previously reported.On Saturday, Whatley accused Democratic officials of “playing fast and loose with election law.”“Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties decided at the last minute to accept ballots over the weekend — which disregards the law,” he explained. “They have also failed to let our poll observers in to watch the process. The Secretary of State has issued guidance to allow Republican poll watchers in but local officials REFUSE.”The counties’ refusal to allow poll watchers extended to both Republicans and Democrats, Fox News Digital reported.Later that same day, Whatley provided an update, stating that the RNC’s poll watchers were being allowed into voting locations in all four counties.Lara Trump also provided an update on the matter, writing on X, “Working with the [Georgia Secretary of State] and [state Attorney General], we have been able to confirm that our observers WILL be allowed in the room while these ballots are being processed.”Like Blaze News?
