Star Wars Outlaws announces big changes to try and win back fans

It’s fair to say that Star Wars Outlaws hasn’t quite managed to hit the highs we all might have hoped to see it achieve. While by no means a bad game, it definitely feels like it landed like an X-Wing on Dagobah rather than the firm crunch of the Millennium Falcon on Tatooine. That’s not to say there isn’t hope, however, as the game’s canopy has yet to sink under the swamp waters. A new creative director at the top of the game has posted a fresh dev update, and there’s plenty to look forward to for the title. Judge declines to block Musk’s $1 million voter giveaways

Illustration by Kristen Radtke / The Verge; Getty Images Elon Musk’s America PAC can move forward with its $1 million giveaways to voters after a Philadelphia judge declined an emergency petition from District Attorney Larry Krasner to block them. During a hearing earlier on Monday, a representative for the political action committee said prize winners are not randomly selected and are actually chosen to be paid spokespeople for the PAC, which supports former President Donald Trump, The Associated Press reported. Musk previously advertised the selection as random, but the fine print of the petition that applicants need to sign to enter the giveaway doesn’t mention it. Krasner accused the PAC of running an illegal lottery and deceptively marketing the prize selections as random, even though... Continue reading…

Ancient Site in Tajikistan's Zeravshan Valley Reveals Early Migration Corridor

In an important discovery, archaeologists from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan have uncovered a multi-layered archaeological site in the Zeravshan Valley, central Tajikistan, shedding rare light on early human settlement in the region. The findings from the site, known as Soii Havzak, provide crucial evidence that Central Asia played a vital role in early human migration and development. Led by Prof. Yossi Zaidner of the Institute of Archaeology at Hebrew University and Dr. Sharof Kurbanov from the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the research, published in Antiquity, revealed a rich array of stone tools, animal bones, and ancient vegetation that date back to various periods between 20,000 and 150,000 years ago. Treacherous Trading: Dangers of the Silk Road Sexual Exploits and Exploitation along the Silk Road Soii Havzak site during excavations.
