On the last day of his campaign before Election Day, former President Donald Trump promised to place a 25% tariff on every product from Mexico unless the country stops the flow of migrants illegally crossing the U.S. southern border. Trump unveiled the new policy on Monday to a crowd of supporters in North Carolina, an important battleground state, saying the tariff has a “100%” chance of working. While most of the tariff plans Trump has previously touted on the campaign trail focus on rejuvenating American manufacturing, his promise on Monday centered on addressing the border crisis that has skyrocketed under the Biden-Harris administration, another top issue of the former president’s campaign. Trump said that “on day one or sooner,” he will inform Mexico’s new president, Claudia Sheinbaum, that if Mexico doesn’t “stop this onslaught of criminals and drugs coming into our country, I’m going to immediately impose a 25% tariff on everything they send into the United States of America.” “And it’s only got a 100% chance of working,” Trump added. “Because if that doesn’t work, I’ll make it 50 [percent]. And if that doesn’t work, I’ll make it 75 [percent] for the tough guys. I’ll make it 100 [percent]. Musk also predicted that Trump would beat Kamala Harris in a “crushing defeat.” YouTube star Jake Paul also came out in support of Trump with a twenty-minute-long video explanation he shared on the platform.  The professional boxer pointed to the “number of problems that America” is currently facing, which he said included “wars, health, guns, jobs, economy, inflation, border control, freedom of speech.” “I think we can all agree that things just don’t feel right; America doesn’t feel good,” Paul said. “It shows that we are more divided than ever, and I can’t just sit back and watch this blasphemy unfold in front of me any longer.” Actor Dennis Quaid, who just played Ronald Reagan in a biopic, also said he’s supporting Trump. “It just makes sense,” the star said in May. “I was ready not to vote for Trump, until what I saw is, more than politics, I see a weaponization of our justice system and a challenge to our Constitution.” “Trump is the most investigated person, probably in the history of the world, and they haven’t been able to really get him on anything,” he added. “Sopranos” actress Drea de Matteo said she’s voting for Trump and she’s not the only one. “The people I’m around, a lot of liberals are voting for Trump. Megyn Kelly announced on Monday that she will appear with former President Donald Trump at his final rally in the battleground state of Pennsylvania before Election Day. The host of Sirius XM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast told her listeners that she got a call from the Trump campaign and explained why she decided to appear on stage with him on Monday night to make the case to voters for Trump before they go out and vote. “Over the weekend, we got an invitation that we never really expected to get and that was from Team Trump to show up tonight in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and for yours truly to make some remarks on the president’s behalf or really, more accurately, just to explain why I’m voting for him,” Kelly said. “And I said yes.” “And I will proudly explain to that audience and beyond why I think it is absolutely essential that he wins this election and that we not put [Vice President] Kamala Harris into the Oval Office as our president,” she added, noting the “dishonest” and “corrupt” things the media has done to Trump this election. “This election, for the first time ever, I told the audience who I’m voting for.
