Orkin Releases 'Rattiest Cities List' and Democrats Won't Want You to Make the Connection

An American pest-control giant has released its annual ranking of U.S. cities and there's a connection being made that some politicians won't like at all. Orkin released 2024's Top 50 Rattiest Cities List on Oct. 21, highlighting Chicago for a particular dishonor. This year marks one straight decade of the...

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul Says Voting Republican Is “Anti-Woman” And “Anti-American” – GOP Congresswoman Says “New York Is In Play”

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul went on MSNBC to say voting Republican makes you “anti-woman” and “anti-American.” “It gave me a chance to tie the Republicans running in these seats, the incumbents closer to Donald Trump, and remind everybody, if you’re voting for these Republicans in New York, you are voting for someone who supports Donald Trump and you’re anti-woman, you’re anti-abortion and basically you’re anti-American because you have just trashed American values and what our country is all about over and over and over,” Hochul said. WATCH: Quite the closing message from the so called campaign of joy: If you don’t vote Democrat, you are Nazi, Hitler loving, anti-American garbage. pic.twitter.com/pbz47BSOwO — Lee Zeldin (@LeeMZeldin) November 3, 2024 “@KathyHochul is an embarrassment to our state — completely incoherent and incapable of leading. Attacking New Yorkers who support President Trump as un-American? She previously told New Yorkers who didn’t agree with her to move to Florida. I’m shocked her favorables are so low,” Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) commented. .@KathyHochul is an embarrassment to our state — completely incoherent and incapable of leading. Attacking New Yorkers who support President Trump as un-American? She previously told New Yorkers who didn’t agree with her to move to Florida. I’m shocked her favorables are so low. https://t.co/djHRC1YBZQ — Mike Lawler (@lawler4ny) November 3, 2024 New York looks to play a formidable role in shaping which party controls the House of Representatives. According to the New York Post, the GOP holds a slim 220-212 lead in the House, and the Empire State has seven competitive House races. Congressional Democrats lost four New York seats in the 2022 mid-term elections. Thus, New York’s congressional election results could sway the majority to either party. From the New York Post: If Democrats fail to regain control of the House, it would be a “national embarrassment” for Gov. Kathy Hochul, state Democratic Party Chairman Jay Jacobs, and House Minority Leader and Brooklyn Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, said longtime Democratic political strategist Hank Sheinkopf. “New York will again be blamed again for destroying Democrats’ chance to take control of Congress,” he said. Republicans are gaining steam in suburban parts of the predominantly Democratic Empire State — in part because of New York’s sanctuary city laws, he added. “There’s a general fear in the suburbs that migrants, New York City crime and chaos will seep across the Nassau County border, across the Westchester County border and into the Hudson Valley,” he said. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) claimed “New York is in play.” “President Trump is polling ahead in New York swing districts where Joe Biden won by 15 points in some cases. I urge all New Yorkers to get out and vote early in-person to elect all of our incredible @NewYorkGOP candidates on your ballot!” Stefanik said Saturday. NEW YORK IS IN PLAY! NEW: New York GOP Outperforms Early Vote 2022 Margins by as Much as 50% “For the first time, New York is possibly in play for the presidential race and will certainly determine the House Majority,” @EliseStefanik to me. https://t.co/GQMFaFwFgt pic.twitter.com/WfaPWdKiQR — Wendell Husebø (@WendellHusebo) November 3, 2024 Per Breitbart: Battleground races in New York could decide the balance of power in the House. In 2022, New York Republican victories enabled the GOP to clench control of the chamber. If Republicans defeat Democrats in 2024 and retain their seats, the party will have a strong chance of retaining a House majority. All GOP-targeted districts have so far outperformed their historical 2022 turnout margins by as much as 50 percent, sources familiar with early vote data told Breitbart News. The districts reaching the 50 percent threshold are 4, 17, 18, and 19. Sources tell Breitbart News the positive turnout is driven by support for former President Donald Trump and House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik’s (R-NY) ground game operation. Stefanik has now spent nearly $3 million dollars on early vote efforts between her House GOP battleground fund, the NRCC, and NYGOP, per one source familiar with the effort. Stefanik’s ground game during the 2022 midterms is widely credited for handing Republicans control of the House and preventing the Biden-Harris administration from passing more legislation to fuel inflation and enact amnesty measures.

The Case for Impeaching Kamala Harris

Donald Trump wrote on X today. “As we rescue our economy, I will also restore our borders. Over the past 4 years, Kamala has orchestrated the most egregious betrayal that any leader in American history has ever inflicted on our people. She has violated her oath, eradicated our sovereign border, and unleashed an army of […] The post The Case for Impeaching Kamala Harris appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Famed Author, Professor Paul Kengor Talks Communism And The Current Democrat Party With Ben Shapiro

During this week’s Sunday Special episode, famed author and communism expert Paul Kengor speaks to Daily Wire Emeritus Ben Shapiro about what true communism is and how Marxist theory is embedded into the current Democrat Party in the U.S.  Kengor, a political science professor at Grove City College, has written more than a dozen books, including “The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis, the Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor” and several other best-sellers about former President Ronald Reagan. Notably, Kengor’s book “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism” inspired the 2024 film “Reagan.”  “I want to call a Marxist a Marxist, only if we’re dealing with a legitimate Marxist,” Kengor said, before diving into the Marxist “superstructure” of “oppressed versus oppressor.”  “You find your two groups to pit against each other,” he said. “Classical Marxism, this was based on economics and class. It was a proletariat/bourgeoisie. There, you had your oppressor and oppressed.”  Current politics from the Left largely focuses on “cultural” Marxism, the author said. “With race-based Marxism, it’s black versus white; with gender Marxism, male versus female.”  “Oftentimes, the people who are doing that, have no idea that they’re even part of that general Marxist superstructure,” Kengor said. “So if you say to them, ‘You know, that’s a form of cultural Marxism or race-based Marxism, they’ll scoff. And maybe they should scoff, because they don’t even know what they’re doing.”  That point brought Kengor to Vice President Kamala Harris. In her case, “she might be coming more from that general superstructure on issues of race, gender, culture,” he said. “But I’d stay away from saying at a national debate that she’s a Marxist, unless you can really defend it and explain it.”  Kengor did add, though, that former President Donald Trump was likely correct when he called Harris’ father a Marxist.  “I think Trump was right about Kamala’s father,” he said. “Based on his writings, and I’ve read in some of his journal articles – he was in the economic department at Stanford University – and from what I could tell, he was a Marxist.”  “I don’t know if [Harris] even has read Karl Marx,” he said. “She probably is not what we would call a ‘classical Marxist’ – probably hasn’t read the communist Manifesto.”  Shapiro made the point that calling Harris a communist “actually waters down what Marxism is, and makes it more palatable for the masses, because people go, ‘Okay, well, if Kamala Harris is a Marxist, that doesn’t seem that bad. I mean, we’re not talking about the Soviet Union, we’re not talking about Cuba, we’re not talking about Venezuela. We’re talking about a lady who’s hobnobbing with tech CEOs and wants government interventionism in the economy and more redistribution [of wealth].” However, later in the show, Shapiro and Kengor discussed how full-scale Communism doesn’t happen overnight, but in gradual steps.  “‘All we need is just one more restriction, all we need is one more set of regulations, all we need is just a little more control’ – and it’s always just a little more control,” Shapiro outlined.  Kengor said that at the very least, mainstream Democrats are in favor of the ‘administrative state’ and noted of a famous quote from President Reagan in his “Time for Choosing” speech: “The more the plans fail, the more the planners plan.”  Kengor also gave Shapiro a one-sentence definition of communism, which he said is right from the Communist Manifesto: “The entire communist theory may be summed up in the single sentence, ‘abolition of private property.’ That’s the starting point – it’s a war on private property.”  “That goes against the Judeo-Christian foundation, the Old Testament, New Testament,” Kengor said. “Thou shalt not steal – the Ten Commandments; that implies that you have the right to property.” During the lengthy sit-down, Shapiro and Kengor also discussed Sen. Bernie Sanders, former President Barack Obama, and much more on Reagan. WATCH the full ‘Sunday Special’ episode with Paul Kengor HERE
