Puppy Crashes Grandma’s Important Zoom Meeting In Hilarious Fashion

Since the pandemic, many people have been working from home, occasionally necessitating Zoom meetings. When grandma is a stay-at-home worker, and you must go on tour with your job, she might babysit your puppy. When that happens, you hope upon hope that your “menace” acts appropriately. However, that was not the case during Grandma’s Zoom meeting when the puppy decided to have some silly moments. @notonyourrider His name is Sir and he is a menace ♬ original sound – Aimon Clark The puppy’s name is Sir. He can be seen in the background of Grandma’s Zoom meeting doing some zooming of his own. Clearly, this temp employee did not get the memo about appropriate meeting behavior. He is recklessly spinning and jumping behind Grandma with a toy. The toy occasionally smacks the wall and possibly the back of her chair. And the puppy spins on. We must commend Grandma’s professionalism. She stays focused on her meeting and pretends not to notice what is happening behind her. Meanwhile, Sir keeps spinning and swinging that tug toy around, having a grand old time! We are wondering what the other meeting attendees must be thinking. Image from TikTok. Perusing the comments section brings on more laughs. This one, from user Christine329329, compares the pup’s antics to a mullet, “Business in the front, party in the back.” That statement perfectly describes the scene. Other commenters highlighted the similarities between “Zoom” and “Zoomies” and how the pup could easily have misunderstood the assignment. All in all, the puppy seems to be “sort of” quietly occupying himself during the Zoom meeting. Depending on his age, puppies have a lot of energy. His restraint in playing in the background and not doing zoomies across Grandma’s lap probably deserves a treat. And no breaking that thing in half, either! Please share. How many nuclear bombs have been used?

The first nuclear bomb test, conducted in 1945, set off an international arms race that included nuclear testing. But how many nuclear bombs have been detonated during tests and in active war?

The Editors’ Quote of the Day:

“Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not his father. And Saul tarried in the uttermost part of Gibeah under a pomegranate tree which is in Migron: and the people that were with him were about six hundred men; And Ahiah, the son of Ahitub, Ichabod’s brother, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, the Lord‘s priest in Shiloh, wearing an ephod. And the … The post The Editors’ Quote of the Day: appeared first on SurvivalBlog.com.

Editors’ Prepping Progress

To be prepared for a crisis, every Prepper must establish goals and make both long-term and short-term plans. In this column, the SurvivalBlog editors review their week’s prep activities and planned prep activities for the coming week. These range from healthcare and gear purchases to gardening, ranch improvements, bug-out bag fine-tuning, and food storage. This is something akin to our Retreat Owner Profiles, but written incrementally and in detail, throughout the year.  We always welcome you to share your own successes and wisdom in your e-mailed letters. We post many of those — or excerpts thereof — in the Odds … The post Editors’ Prepping Progress appeared first on SurvivalBlog.com.

Relationships, Communities, and Resources, by 3AD Scout

Multiple relationships equals a community and a community equals resources. This sounds so simplistic but many Preppers do not work on developing relationships which means they do not have a SHTF community. Not having a community means that they are missing out on vital resources they may need during and after a widespread disaster or a societal collapse. I saw this concept in action for myself in the past few weeks. Making a relationship Amish buggies and wagons are a common sight on our road. A keen eye will sometimes allow you to get to know the locals versus those … The post Relationships, Communities, and Resources, by 3AD Scout appeared first on SurvivalBlog.com.

Preparedness Notes for Saturday — October 26, 2024

40 years ago today, the action thriller The Terminator was released in the United States. The movie was hugely successful. It made actor Arnold Schwarzenegger a star and established director James Cameron as a bankable filmmaker. On October 26, 1881, a feud between the Earp brothers (Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan) and an outlaw gang led by Ike Clanton escalated into a celebrated gunfight at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona Territory. And today is the birthday of Henry Deringer (October 26, 1786 – February 28, 1868). He was an American gunsmith, best known for inventing and giving his name to … The post Preparedness Notes for Saturday — October 26, 2024 appeared first on SurvivalBlog.com.
