Biden On Trump: ‘We Gotta Lock Him Up’

President Joe Biden said at a campaign event on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump had to be locked up because of the threat that he presents to the country. Biden made the remarks during an event in Concord, New Hampshire, for Democratic candidates Joyce Craig and Maggie Goodlander. “He is talking about doing away with the entire Department of Education,” Biden said. “He’s talking, he means it, this is not a joke. This is a guy who also wants to replace every civil servant, every single one. Thinks he has a right under the Supreme Court ruling on immunity to be able if need be, if it was the case, to actually eliminate, physically eliminate, shoot and kill, someone who he believes to be a threat to him.” “I mean, so, I know this sounds bizarre,” Biden said. “It sounds like if I said this five years ago, you’d lock me up. We gotta lock him up.” Several seconds later, after realizing what he said, Biden added: “Politically lock him up.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ COMING TO DAILYWIRE+ OCT. 28 WATCH: President Joe Biden says the quiet part out loud for Democrats about former President Donald Trump: “We gotta lock him up” He said this just now on the campaign trail in New Hampshire pic.twitter.com/63sdel3eyr — Ryan Saavedra (@RealSaavedra) October 22, 2024 Donald Trump Jr. quickly responded to the clip, posting on X: “They’re not even hiding it. The lawfare against my dad was always about election interference!” Biden’s remarks may put Vice President Kamala Harris in a bind as she campaigns for president as she might be forced to distance herself from Biden’s comments and risk angering Democrat voters. However, if Harris agrees with Biden, she’ll be accused of supporting the weaponization of the justice system, which could hurt her with independent voters.

Tim Walz Says Elon Musk Was ‘Skipping Like A Dips***’ At Campaign Rally

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who is Vice President Kamala Harris‘ running mate in the 2024 White House race, took a swipe at Elon Musk on Tuesday over the tech billionaire’s support of former President Donald Trump. During a campaign event in Wisconsin, Walz criticized Musk for jumping on stage while hitting the campaign trail in support of Trump, starting with a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, months after the former president survived an assassination attempt in that same place. Do you think Elon Musk was fired up to be at President Trump's Butler, Pennsylvania, rally today? ?? pic.twitter.com/8HkQlh1Kg8 — Vince Langman (@LangmanVince) October 5, 2024 “Elon’s on that stage, jumping around, skipping like a dips***,” Walz said. Moments later, amid loud applause, he added: “That guy is literally the richest man in the world, spending millions of dollars to help Donald Trump buy an election.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ COMING TO DAILYWIRE+ OCT. 28 WALZ: “Elon [Musk] is on that stage jumping around, skipping like a dipshit.” Who is going to tell him? ? pic.twitter.com/Iae48qJAE7 — Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) October 22, 2024 Musk announced over the weekend that he would be giving $1 million every day until Election Day to a random person who signed a petition with his America PAC that pledges support for the First and Second Amendments. The “Trump War Room” on X issued a fiery response to Walz’s “skipping like a dips***” line. “POT, MEET KETTLE: Tampon Tim Walz — known as the ‘Dancing Queen’ for his bizarre, wild gesticulations in public — is now smearing @elonmusk for ‘skipping like a dipshit’ at President Trump’s rally. What a moron,” it said in one post. Another post featured a video of sped-up clips of Walz zipping around while clapping and waving to people in the crowd at different events. “Jumping around, skipping like a dipshit” featuring Tampon Tim Walz: pic.twitter.com/vwpedNAZsU — Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) October 22, 2024 The governor has been labeled “Tampon Tim” by critics because, in 2023, he signed into law a measure requiring free menstrual products in all Minnesota public school bathrooms. Also in his remarks, Walz argued Trump is “promising corruption” with his stated interest in putting Musk in charge of cutting costs in government. But, according to the governor, “Donald Trump is never going to be president. Elon Musk is never going to run anything.” Two weeks out from Election Day, national polls on average show Harris with a slight edge, while betting markets and polls indicate Trump is gaining momentum and leading in key battleground states. Musk, using the X platform that he owns, shot back at Walz with a short post in response to a video of the governor’s remarks. “They know they’re gonna lose,” Musk said.

Click to Skip Ahead Recipe of the Week Key Nutritional Information Portioning and Storage Optional Upgrades It’s not unusual to browse social media and see someone preparing an at-home meal for their beloved pets. For me, the fascination with these posts isn’t the meal in question, but rather how I almost always see comments that allude to the time commitment it would take to prepare such a meal for their pet every day. Having recently been on a meal plan for myself (prepared by a licensed doctor and nutritionist, of course), I often find myself doing a great deal of meal prep on the weekend. This makes the task of figuring out what to eat daily very easy for me. In turn, this makes it more likely that I’ll stick to my meal plan. While cooking up my weekly meals over the weekend, I coincidentally had a request from my client to offer her a very low-carbohydrate recipe that would work for her cat from Monday to Friday, without her having to prepare meals every evening. This was understandable, as we all know how loud our pet cats can become when they aren’t fed on time! Her cat, Ivy, prefers chicken. Therefore, I whipped up a recipe for Ivy that would last her an entire week! Recipe of the Week – Low-Carb Chicken Important! This is a complete and balanced recipe that was made for a cat for whom I had a complete medical and nutritional history. It is considered complete and balanced for that cat only. This recipe is safe for all healthy adult cats, but it may or may not be complete for your cat. As such, it’s very important to check every recipe with a veterinary nutritionist before offering it to your cat. Print Homemade Low-Carb Chicken Cat Food Recipe Preparing meals for your cat doesn't need to be a daily hassle in the kitchen. You can whip up this delicious low-carb chicken recipe over the weekend, ensuring your cat enjoys nutritious meals throughout the week. Author Dr. Luqman Javed DVM (Veterinarian) EquipmentLarge pot for stirringLarge pot or saucepan with a lid Ingredients328.5 g - 11.06 oz Chicken hearts132 g - 4.7 oz Chicken eggs (whole) (approximately 3-4 medium-sized eggs)65.7 g - 2.3 oz Chicken breast (no skin, no bone)6.57 g - 0.23 oz Adult Multivitamin/Multimineral (Brand: Centrum)6.57 g - 0.23 oz Spirulina Powder1.65 g - 0.06 oz Psyllium Husk Powder InstructionsPreparation:Begin by adding water to a pot large enough to boil eggs in and bringing this water to a boil. With the water boiling, add your eggs to the water. Boil the eggs until they are hardboiled (approximately 4-5 minutes on high heat).Remove the hardboiled eggs from the water and allow them to cool. Important: weigh the eggs once they are peeled to ensure they meet the recipe’s requirements! In another pot or saucepan, bring some water to a very gentle heat – approximately 165 °F (73.9 °C). Ensure that this pot or saucepan has a lid.Slice the chicken breast into portions roughly the size of the chicken hearts.Add the chicken hearts and cut-up chicken breast pieces to this second pot and put on the lid.Cook the chicken breasts and hearts for the least amount of time necessary for them to cook all the way through (usually around 3-4 minutes).Once cooked, turn off the stove and remove the pan from the heat source. Gently scoop out the hearts and breast pieces from the water and transfer them to another bowl. Allow them to cool. Important: weigh the meat to ensure it matches the requirements for the recipe! With all 3 ingredients cooked (eggs, hearts, and breast), slice, chop, mince, or dice all the components into similar-sized portions (depending on your cat’s preference).Finely crush the multivitamin/multimineral supplement into a powder (hint: a food processor works wonderfully for this step!).Add the spirulina powder, psyllium husk, and the powdered multivitamin/multimineral supplement to the bowl containing the other cooked ingredients. Ensure you sprinkle these evenly over the food. (Tip: If your cat prefers minced food, you can finely chop all the cooked ingredients in a food processor with the powders and supplement!)Portion out the final mixture into meal-sized portions for your cat.Enjoy! Food intended for periods after this should be portioned and frozen; it will stay viable for consumption for up to 3 months in the freezer. It should be slowly thawed the night before it is offered to your pet. Thawed food should not be re-frozen. Upgrades (Optional) Though my client was requesting a low-carbohydrate option, I did let her know that it was possible to add in another carbohydrate source for fiber in this diet if she was keen on it. Though not essential for a cat, fiber may offer them some health benefits (provided it is offered in reasonable amounts). In this case, I felt that a small amount of gently cooked carrots (around 65.7 grams) would be a good idea. Ivy, however, had different ideas and didn’t appreciate the carrots at all, so we decided to omit them. In addition, my client was keen on a omega-3 fish oil for the recipe. While acceptable in small amounts (around 3 grams for this entire recipe), it’s important to note that any omega-3 or fish oils should only be added to a recipe when it’s being served to your pet. As such, I cautioned her against adding it to the base recipe. Leftover Idea – “Mini” Hydration Treats Another option with this recipe is to use the leftover water (in which the chicken hearts and breasts were cooked). Pour it into an ice-cube tray and freeze the water. The resulting ice cubes are a “protein” infused treat that you can melt and add to your cat’s meals as a form of extra hydration! You may also be interested in: 6 DIY Cat Popsicle Recipes (Vet-Approved) Spotlight Ingredient – It’s All In the Heart! For most cat diets, nutritionists try to aim for a diet that comprises around 60-80% meat, fish, and eggs. Organs should typically only comprise around 10-30% of a diet. However, the heart is an exception to this rule. Though an organ, the heart is a specialized muscle and doesn’t have to be offered in a restricted amount. In fact, it’s one of the best sources of taurine out there (an essential amino acid for cats), which is why this recipe features so much of this ingredient. As far as organs (liver, gizzards, etc.) are concerned, the heart remains one of my absolute favorites for cats (and also dogs). I specifically enjoy using chicken hearts because their size makes them very manageable and easy to portion out for a diet. They also often end up costing less than the other parts of a chicken carcass and are therefore a more economical option. Conclusion Preparing meals for cats doesn’t have to be a daily grueling process in the kitchen. Indeed, it is possible to make multiple meals for your pet in a single cooking session – enough to last them for several days! I hope this recipe helps highlight the point that though homemade diets do take some time and effort, there are still numerous ways you can make the process easy for yourself. How 7 Battleground States Rank on Election Integrity

The seven states most likely to decide the presidential race Nov. 5 vary in election security, with Georgia and Nevada showing the starkest contrast.  Georgia has the highest score of any swing state on The Heritage Foundation’s Election Integrity Scorecard, tied for the secon- highest score in the nation.  Nevada ranks 50th in the nation, beating only Hawaii. (Because of the District of Columbia, 51 jurisdictions are scored.) In most battleground states, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are separated by less than 2% in the presidential race, according to RealClearPolitics polling averages. “Georgia has vastly improved on elections since 2020, while Nevada has made matters worse,” Hans von Spakovsky, senior legal fellow and manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal. “These are two examples of everything a state should do and everything a state shouldn’t do,” von Spakovsky added.  The other battleground states rank somewhere in between. Wisconsin and North Carolina rank in the top 20 best states for election security. Other key states, Arizona and Pennsylvania, tie for the rank of 24–barely making it into the top half. Michigan falls in the bottom 25.  States are scored on factors such as voter ID laws, accuracy of voter registration rolls, restrictions on the practice of ballot harvesting, and verification of U.S. citizenship.  Here’s a look at where the seven battleground states stand.  Arizona Arizona has a score of 62 and ranks 24. Arizona has a low score for its voter ID law, with 7 out of 20. But does well with 19 out of 28 points for accuracy of voter registration lists.   Arizona also has a maximum of four points for restrictions on ballot harvesting, also known as vote trafficking. It’s the practice in which political operatives collect large amounts of absentee ballots from voters or election offices.  The state, which shares a border with Mexico, gets three out of four points for citizenship verification.  Trump currently holds a 1.8% lead over Harris in Arizona in the RealClearPolitics polling average. Trump won the state against Hillary Clinton in 2016, but lost it to Joe Biden in 2020.  Georgia Georgia has a score of 83 overall and ties with Florida and Alabama for second place in the ranking.  The top-ranked state is Tennessee.  For its part, Georgia ranks 19 out of 20 for enforcing voter ID. It scores 22 out of 28 for accuracy of voter registration rolls.  Georgia gets three out of four points for restrictions on ballot harvesting and 17 out of 21 points for management of absentee ballots.  Georgia gets the maximum score for verification of citizenship, vote-counting practices, access to election observers, restrictions on same-day voter registration, and restrictions on private funding of elections.  However, the state gets a zero for having no restrictions on automatic voter registration.  Trump has his strongest polling lead in Georgia, with an average of 2.5% over Harris, according to RealClearPolitics. Trump carried the state in 2016, but fell short in 2020.  Michigan Michigan ranks 27 with a score of 57 on Heritage’s Election Integrity Scorecard.  Michigan does well enough on both voter ID enforcement, with 13 out of 20, and on keeping accurate voter rolls, with 17 of 28.  It ranks 14 out of 21 on management of absentee voting. But the state has no citizenship verification, allows for Election Day voter registration, and has no restrictions on private funding of election administration, scoring zero on each front.  Michigan does manage three out of four points for restricting ballot harvesting.  Trump has a 1.2% lead in Michigan over Harris, according to RealClearPolitics. Trump won the state in 2016, but lost it in 2020.  Nevada Nevada, coming in at second-to-last, has a score of 28 out of 100.  The Silver State does poorly in nearly every category, with just two points out of 20 for voter ID.  Nevada does better on accuracy of voter registration lists, with 15 points out of a maximum of 28. But that’s generally the high point, as the state earns a score of zero on ballot harvesting.  It scores zero in multiple other categories such as private funding of local election offices, allowing Election Day voter registration, and promoting automatic voter registration.  Trump has a 0.7% lead over Harris in Nevada, according to RealClearPolitics. Trump has never won in Nevada.  North Carolina North Carolina comes in 18th in the national election integrity ranking, with 70 points.  North Carolina is effectively tied, with Trump holding a 0.5% lead over Harris in the RealClearPolitics average. But Trump has history on his side, having carried the state twice before.  The state scores 17 out of 20 for voter ID, and 18 out of 28 for accuracy of voter rolls.  The Tar Heel State also has a maximum score for restrictions on ballot harvesting. Notably, a 2018 U.S. House race was overturned by the North Carolina State Board of Elections after a Republican candidate won after a ballot harvesting scandal.  North Carolina also gets a maximum score for providing access to election observers, its vote-counting practices, and restrictions on same-day voter registration,  However, the state gets zero points for restrictions on private funding for election offices as well as for election litigation practices and verification of citizenship.  Pennsylvania Pennsylvania has an overall score of 62, but scores just 10 out of a maximum 20 for voter ID.  The Keystone State scores a maximum four points for restricting ballot harvesting, and does reasonably well on accuracy of voter rolls with a score of 18 out of 28.  The state manages to score 13 out of 21 points for absentee ballot management.  In Pennsylvania, Trump holds an average 0.8% lead over Harris, according to RealClearPolitics. Trump won the state in 2016, but lost it in 2020.  Wisconsin Wisconsin is tied with Ohio for spot 11 in the ranking; Ohio  itself was formally a swing state. Wisconsin has 76 points.  The Badger State has a maximum score for its voter ID law, accuracy of voter rolls, ballot harvesting restrictions, access to election observers, and restrictions on private money funding election offices. However, Wisconsin gets a zero for having no restrictions on Election Day voter registration.  Wisconsin is another dead-heat state in the RealClearPolitics polling average, but Trump has a nominal 0.4% edge over Harris. Trump won the state in 2016, but lost it in 2020.  The post How 7 Battleground States Rank on Election Integrity appeared first on The Daily Signal.

Twitter Files Journo Helps Expose Digital Brownshirts Trying to ‘Kill Musk’s Twitter’

A leftist organization known for targeting right-leaning media outlets has set its partisan sights on a new target: Elon Musk. Leaked memos from the Center for Countering Digital Hate—an organization notorious for targeting the MRC in 2021—revealed that one of its top priorities was to "Kill Musk’s Twitter," according to independent journalists Paul D. Thacker and Matt Taibbi. CCDH is a radical organization that targets groups it labels as spreading "online hate" and "disinformation” (or in other words, speech it disagrees with). The decision to target Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) came less than two years after the tech mogul vowed to uphold the First Amendment on the platform. The leaked CCDH memos—published Tuesday in The DisInformation Chronicle substack—outlined monthly and annual goals, along with secondary priorities, in bulleted lists from March to October 2024.  Among the targets was “Musk’s Twitter,” in addition to seeking to “Trigger EU and UK regulatory action.” These efforts, Thacker and Taibbi suggested, put CCDH’s 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status at risk. In response, Musk labeled CCDH "a criminal organization" and called their targeting an act of "war." CCDH joins a growing list of leftist groups and foreign governments attacking Musk since his purchase of Twitter in 2022. This is war https://t.co/tesncwEoXE — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 22, 2024 Despite leftist criticism, Musk has consistently advocated for unrestricted free speech within legal limits on social media. This stance has appeared to alarm Democratic lawmakers and leftist groups, who have routinely argued that free speech and the First Amendment pose a threat to democracy. The panic has reached such heights that it's now a central issue in the 2024 election, with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton even suggesting that Americans should face criminal and civil penalties for misspeaking. Taibbi and Thacker revealed that CCDH, led by its founder Morgan McSweeney, is closely linked to Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign, where McSweeney serves as a campaign advisor.  Coincidentally, Musk has been a vocal supporter of Harris’s opponent, former President Donald Trump, going so far as to join him on several campaign rallies. Meanwhile, the Biden-Harris administration has launched a full-fledged assault against Musk-owned companies, reported The New York Times. The probes span multiple agencies, including Transportation, Justice, Labor, Interior and Agriculture. CCDH’s influence extended beyond the presidential campaign, seemingly working with Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) to push legislation targeting so-called “misinformation." In 2021, the infamous company attacked MRC, among others, labeling it part of a “Toxic Ten” responsible for spreading so-called climate change denialism. In another report, CCDH targeted 12 popular internet personalities, accusing them of spreading disinformation about COVID-19.  In response, MRC President Brent Bozell branded CCDH a “Digital brownshirt,” referencing the Nazi Party's paramilitary force from the 1920s. Calling for more biased fact-checks as a way of silencing scientific debate is insane. This is another typical left wing cancel culture attempt borne out of anti-conservative bigotry. — Brent Bozell (@BrentBozell) November 2, 2021
