After attempting to win back those black male voters now abandoning her and the Democratic Party en masse with the promise of federally legalized marijuana, Harris set her sights more broadly on Christian voters, insinuating that "putting faith into action" means casting a vote for her — despite her zealous support of abortion and gender ideology, her past anti-Christian remarks, and her efforts to run roughshod over religious liberties. The online component of Harris' "souls to the polls" campaign, which corresponded with her visits Sunday to churches in Georgia, was overwhelmingly met with ridicule. Harris tweeted an image of herself standing on a church platform with crosses in the background, stating, "We each have the power to make a difference — in our communities and in this election. Now is the time to come together to show faith in action and service." Despite netting nearly 2 million views on X, the post received fewer than 8,000 likes. 'This is such disgusting, superficial, disingenuous pandering, it's beyond words.' BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey quipped, "Christian Nationalism is so scary." Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) called for law enforcement officials to look into Elon Musk's America PAC, which has vowed to give $1 million per day away at random to swing state voters who sign its petition.During a Sunday interview on NBC's "Meet the Press," Shapiro questioned the legality of Musk's giveaway.'It does raise some serious questions.'Host Kristen Welker asked Shapiro, "Elon Musk says he will be giving away a million dollars every day to random voters who sign his super PAC's petition. You are a former attorney general — is this legal?"Shapiro responded, "I think there are real questions with how he is spending money in this race, how the dark money is flowing not just into Pennsylvania, but apparently now into the pockets of Pennsylvanians. That is deeply concerning."According to Federal Elections Commission filings, Musk is the sole donor of the America PAC, despite Shapiro's claims it is comprised of "dark money." Between July and September, Musk provided roughly $75 million in contributions, Fox News Digital reported.Shapiro continued, "Look, Musk obviously has a right to be able to express his views. A 15-year-old student allegedly hit a high school staff member in the head with a laptop — and the victim, 54, was hospitalized and reportedly had trouble breathing.The incident took place last Monday at Northwest High School in Germantown, Maryland, which is part of Montgomery County Schools, WTTG-TV reported.'He'll probably get in-school detention followed by a transfer to another school.'Principal Scott E. Smith confirmed the incident in a letter to families and staff, the station said, adding that emergency services were called to the scene, and the Montgomery County Police Department was investigating.The staff member was taken to a hospital for treatment, district's spokesperson Liliana López told WTTG. "We can confirm that a student struck and injured a staff member," López said in a statement, according to the station. "The staff member was transported to the hospital by emergency services."Citing police radio transmissions, MoCo360 reported that the student allegedly hit the staff member in the head with a laptop.The dispatcher said the staff member — a 54-year-old man — was conscious but having trouble breathing after the alleged assault, the outlet added.MoCo360, citing radio transmissions, said the 15-year-old student in question was taken to the school’s office and was with the school’s security staff following the alleged incident.“It is important to note that any student who chooses to commit an act of violence will be subject to progressive discipline in alignment with the MCPS Code of Conduct up to possible expulsion," Smith wrote in his letter, according to the outlet. AMD seems determined to disrupt Intel’s new CPU launch as much as possible, with the company announcing a sweep of price cuts across all its new gaming CPUs, effective immediately. The new AMD Ryzen price cuts affect every new chip in the new Zen 5 lineup, with $50 slashed off the cost of the Ryzen 9 9950X, and $30 taken off the other chips in the range. With the Intel Arrow Lake launch coming later this week, and the Ryzen 9 9000X3D release date coming in early November, it looks as though AMD is attempting to make its range of new Ryzen 9000 CPUs look more appealing. A cynic might also argue that the chips were overpriced in the first place, and that they should have launched with these prices originally, but we’ll take it either way.
