Heated: Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Threatens to Have Radio Hosts Fired in Live Meltdown Over Team's Struggles

If it weren't for the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Dallas Cowboys would be the most disappointing team of the 2024 NFL season. Sure, the Cowboys are .500 at 3-3, but that's a particularly bad .500, especially after many picked them to win the NFC East and potentially even the whole conference. Of...

Filing Reveals How Much Elon Musk Contributed To His Pro-Trump Super PAC

Elon Musk has contributed approximately $75 million to his pro-Trump Super PAC. Reuters reports that federal disclosures reveal Musk made the contributions in the span of three months. Musk said the spending group aims for “common sense, centrist values.” The @America PAC is just aiming for common sense, centrist values https://t.co/mc0RmxXOhf — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 16, 2024 Per Reuters: America PAC, which is focused on turning out voters in closely contested states that could decide the election, spent around $72 million of that in the July-September period, according to disclosures filed to the Federal Election Commission. That is more than any other pro-Trump super PAC focused on turning out voters. The Trump campaign is broadly reliant on outside groups for canvassing voters, meaning the super PAC founded by Musk – the world’s richest man – plays an outsized role in the razor-thin election between Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris. Musk, the CEO of electric car manufacturer Tesla, was the sole donor to the group in that period. Musk, who has said he has voted for Democratic presidential candidates in the past, has taken a sharp turn to the right this election. He endorsed Trump in July and appeared with him at a rally in Pennsylvania earlier this month. In his interview with Tucker Carlson, Musk explained why he created America PAC. “In America, we want safe cities, secure borders, sensible spending,” he said. “Tell me where I’m going far-right here. We want to have the right to self-protection. We should respect the Constitution and not try to break the Constitution,” he added. America PAC wrote: Elon Musk tells Tucker Carlson why he created America PAC and why Donald Trump is the best candidate in this election who will support these core values: -Secure Borders -Sensible Spending -Safe Cities -Fair Justice System -Free Speech -Self-Protection WATCH: Elon Musk tells Tucker Carlson why he created America PAC and why Donald Trump is the best candidate in this election who will support these core values: -Secure Borders-Sensible Spending-Safe Cities-Fair Justice System-Free Speech-Self-Protection pic.twitter.com/xDynuQFqCQ — America (@america) October 8, 2024 From POLITICO: The constellation of super PACs has become increasingly important to Trump’s electoral chances as the former president’s own fundraising has waned, with Trump’s campaign fundraising over the past two months substantially trailing what he raised over the same period in 2020. America PAC reported spending $65.8 million on independent expenditures from mid-August through the end of September, more than $60 million of which went toward the presidential race. Unlike Preserve America and MAGA Inc., which are spending most of their money on television advertising, America PAC’s independent expenditures are mostly focused on reaching voters door-to-door and in mailings. And Musk, in particular, has become increasingly integral to Trump’s political operation since the Tesla CEO endorsed him after the former president was shot in July. America PAC has been aiding Republicans’ get-out-the-vote efforts in battleground states and recently combined operations with another Trump-allied PAC, Turning Point Action, in Wisconsin. Musk has started hitting the trail for Trump, including appearing alongside the former president during his return to Butler, Pennsylvania — the site of the first assassination attempt against him — earlier this month. (Musk has ties to the state, having attended the University of Pennsylvania.) He also recently unveiled an America PAC program to pay $47 to people who help identify likely Trump voters in the core seven swing states. America PAC launched a petition offering registered voters $47 for every registered voter in critical swing states they refer. Elon Musk’s PAC Makes Offer To Refer Registered Voters In Swing States To Sign Petition The petition supports the First and Second Amendment. “The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. By signing below, I am pledging my support for the First and Second Amendments,” the petition reads. “In appreciation for your support, you will receive $47 for each registered voter you refer that signs this petition,” it continues. “Our goal is to get 1 million registered voters in swing states to sign in support of the Constitution, especially freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. This program is exclusively open to registered voters in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina. Expires October 21,” it adds. “For every person you refer who is a swing state voter, you get $47! Easy money,” Musk said. For every person you refer who is a swing state voter, you get $47! Elon Musk To Give “Series Of Talks” In Battleground State, Two Requirements To Attend

Elon Musk is hitting the campaign trail in Pennsylvania this week as the 2024 presidential election nears. “Tomorrow night through Monday, I will be giving a series of talks throughout Pennsylvania. If you’d like to attend one of my talks, there’s no attendance fee. You just need to have signed our petition supporting free speech & right to bear arms & have voted in this election,” Musk explained. “To clarify, you need have voted in Pennsylvania,” he added. To clarify, you need have voted in Pennsylvania — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 16, 2024 Per Reuters: Elon Musk said he will give “a series of talks from tomorrow night through Monday” in Pennsylvania, less than two weeks after the billionaire made a high-profile appearance with former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump there. Earlier last week, a source told Reuters that Musk plans more campaigning for Trump in Pennsylvania and his appearances would be connected to his America PAC political action committee. Pennsylvania is considered a crucial state for both Trump and his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, in the race for the Nov. 5 election. Elon Musk will be holding his own rallies across Pennsylvania from tomorrow night to next Monday. Attendees will be people who have signed his petition to support the Constitution and have voted in Pennsylvania. This is very cool. It's going to turn out many voters for Trump. pic.twitter.com/I5Icbbgqg7 — George (@BehizyTweets) October 16, 2024 Musk’s “series of talks” in the critical swing state follows his appearance on stage with President Trump at the historic Butler rally. Musk responded to a post by the account America, a PAC the billionaire tech entrepreneur founded to “support candidates who champion Secure Borders, Sensible Spending, Safe Cities, Fair Justice System, Free Speech and Self-Protection.” According to Federal Elections Commission (FEC) filings on Tuesday, Musk was the sole donor to the America PAC, making approximately $75 million in contributions from July to the end of September. Over that three-month period, the PAC Musk founded spent around $72 million, according to those FEC disclosures. The world’s richest man, who said he voted for former Democratic presidential candidates including Joe Biden in the past, endorsed Trump this summer following the first assassination attempt on the 45th president on July 13.
