The social media account for Kamala Harris’s failed presidential campaign has deleted a false post about political commentator Tim Pool, seemingly as part of a legal settlement that stemmed from a defamation lawsuit. Pool announced on Friday that the Kamala HQ post, which falsely labeled Pool a “Trump operative” associated with Project 2025, was deleted. The post said that Pool was part of a plan to give Trump “unchecked legal power so they can jail and execute those who don’t support Trump if he wins.” Pool sued in federal court, saying the false post caused him “reputational harm” that would take millions of dollars to undo.
