Scary new Gmail hack uses super realistic AI posing as Google to dupe you

As exciting as genAI software might be, it also has side effects that we all need to be aware of. Since AI programs also offer human-like voice modes, it might be easy to have one of these AI models make calls for nefarious purposes. One such scenario involves an AI impersonating a "very polite and professional" Google representative calling you from a spoofed number. The call is part of a hacker's attempt to take over your Gmail account. The hack also involves creating fake Gmail recovery emails and fake support emails meant to further convince the victim they're the target of an ongoing attack. You might avoid falling prey to the attack if you're tech-savvy enough. But unsuspecting Gmail users afraid that their account is in danger might end up giving the hacker their password by eventually "verifying" their Gmail account on a fraudulent site. Continue reading... The post Scary new Gmail hack uses super realistic AI posing as Google to dupe you appeared first on BGR. The Philosophies of Confucius and Their Influence on Chinese Society

Confucius, a name synonymous with ancient Chinese philosophy, remains one of the most influential thinkers not only in China but also throughout the world. Born in 551 BC during a time of social and political turmoil, Confucius developed a system of thought that sought to bring about harmony, moral integrity, and effective governance. His teachings, collectively referred to as Confucianism, have shaped the core of Chinese culture, politics, and social behavior for over two millennia. The lasting influence of Confucian ideals on Chinese society is not only evident in its historical development but continues to resonate today in modern governance, education, and interpersonal relationships. But in order to fully comprehend his influence on Chinese society, we must delve deeply into the core tenets of Confucian philosophy, its historical context, and how it shaped an entire civilization at various levels. This influence on family structure, education, government, and the ethical system that has guided China for centuries is a key element of studying this philosophy. Cabbage Roll Soup

Cabbage Roll Soup

Cabbage Roll Soup is a hearty, savory dish inspired by the flavors of stuffed cabbage rolls! Full of ground beef, rice, tomatoes, seasoning, and of course, cabbage! A FILLING SOUP IN UNDER AN HOUR Cabbage Roll Soup is a comforting soup recipe that you’ll love if you enjoy a good, classic cabbage roll. It’s sort of all the flavors and fun of cabbage rolls without all the fuss! I love that it’s cooked in a rich tomato beef-based broth so the cabbage can soften and absorb the flavors of the meat and spices. It’s perfect for those chilly fall evenings or when you just want a nice cozy bowl of soup to heat you up from the inside out! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:  Can I make a vegetarian cabbage soup? You can make a vegetarian version of this soup so easily. Simply use either a meat substitute of choice (like impossible meat) instead of the ground beef. Or you can just leave the meat out altogether. For the stock, you can use a vegetable broth instead of a beef broth. This turned out thick for me, how can I thin out my soup? This is a thick and hearty soup for sure. If you’d like it more “soupy”, just add a bit of water or more beef broth until it reaches your desired consistency. What to serve with Cabbage Roll Soup? This cabbage and meat soup is very filling, but it can pair nicely with a green salad and your favorite Garlic Bread, Breadsticks, or dinner rolls. Can I make this in a crock pot? Yes you could. I would probably follow my recipe from Crock Pot Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls but add about 2-3 cups of low sodium or unsalted beef broth to that recipe to make it more like a soup. How should I store leftover Cabbage Soup? Once your soup cools down to room temperature you can transfer it to an airtight container. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat leftovers in a pot on the stove or in a bowl in the microwave. Can I freeze leftover soup, and if so, what’s the best way? Any leftover soup can be frozen. Make sure the soup has cooled off before transferring to an airtight container, make sure to leave about ¾” at the top. It can be frozen for up to 3 months. INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE) yellow onion extra virgin olive oil lean ground beef– lean ground chicken, ground turkey, or ground pork could also be used in place of the beef. garlic cloves – I use freshly mined garlic here but you can use the jarred stuff to save time. long grain rice – you could make this with minute rice but you may want to adjust the liquid a bit (unless you want this more soupy) since minute rice doesn’t need as much liquid to cook. cabbage – make sure to remove the core before chopping it all up diced tomatoes with juices tomato paste – if you find the tomatoes make this a bit too acidic for your tastes, try adding a Tablespoon of sugar to your soup. This usually balances out any strong acidic flavors without making it taste sweet. low sodium beef broth– If you’re sensitive to sodium, I definitely recommend sticking to a low sodium beef broth if you can. If not, you could use regular beef broth, just be careful because you don’t want it to become too salty. paprika dried thyme Worcestershire sauce bay leaves – if for some reason you forgot to pick up bay leaves, don’t let this stop you from making it. Just leave them out. I promise they do add a wonderful depth of flavor though. salt and pepper HOW TO MAKE CABBAGE ROLL SOUP: In a large pot or Dutch oven heat olive oil, then ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium high heat. Brown and crumble the ground beef until fully cooked and onions are softened. Drain any excess grease.  Stir in the chopped cabbage and let cook until slightly softened, about 3 minutes. Add in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, uncooked rice, paprika, dried thyme, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, salt and ground pepper. Stir well to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium low. Cover the pot and let simmer until the rice is fully cooked, approximately 30-35 minutes. Remove bay leaves before serving. Sacrifice a human and 7 more ways to not be a bigot on Indigenous Peoples’ Day

Everyone knows that if you celebrate Columbus Day, you’re a Nazi bigot, so that’s why most woke cultures and municipalities will be celebrating Indigenous Peoples’ Day instead. Genesius Times is proud to inform you of how you can not be a bigot on this special day. Mostly, you can imitate what the indigenous peoples did in their heyday like human sacrifice or canibalism. Plus, you get an exemption from cultural appropriation but only on this day! Here’s how to not be a bigot on Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Perform human sacrifice We all know the beautiful Aztec indigenous peoples were expert at sacrificing humans—usually on poor people in debt to the state. Many California cities will be performing human sacrifices in honor of these sacred traditions. If someone owes you money, feel free to sacrifice them to the climate god in honor of indigenous peoples! Massacre neighboring indigenous peoples Many uniformed bigots think that indigenous peoples lived in harmony with nature and themselves before the evil Europeans came, but that’s not true. Pretty much all the nations around when the Europeans came had massacred and engulfed several of their neighboring tribes. Massacring neighboring towns would be a fun activity to do with the kids! Collect scalps of your enemies Some would say that scalping is barbaric, but is it very different than getting your hair cut at a barber shop? I think not. That’s why Elizabeth Warren will be taking up this practice on IPD. Select your favorite enemies and take the knife to their scalps. Try it in the middle of the night for added terror! Enslave other humans The slavery of the United States was the worst evil ever perpetrated, but the slavery of the Native Americans was a beautiful cultural heritage. Enslave a few people to honor indigenous peoples today. Eat people Cannibalism is so great that you can save the planet and honor your indigenous peoples at the same time! This is how you show you’re really woke! Steal everything Property rights is such a racist idea. The Comanche in particular didn’t give a hoot about your property rights and they stole like it was their job. Celebrate IPD by looting a Walmart! Torture your enemies Indigenous peoples should win a creativity award for how clever their torture techniques were. Disemboweling and dismemberment was an art form to these wonderful peoples. If you’re particularly emboldened to celebrate indigenous peoples, try this fun activity on someone! Complain about Europeans doing the same thing you did It’s clear that if you try to hold indigenous peoples to the same standards as Europeans, you’re a bigot. When Europeans made war, it was evil. When indigenous peoples made war, it was beautiful. Make sure to complain all day long about stuff others do that you did also. If you don’t do these—at least one of them—you’re a bigot. If you’re looking for some entertainment for the occasion, try Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto about the wonderfully peaceful existence in pre-European America. It’s so heart-warming! ‘Baywatch’ Star Jeremy Jackson’s Homeless Ex-Wife Loni Willison Seen Dirty And Eating Lunch On Sidewalk

Baywatch star, Jeremy Jackson‘s ex-wife, Loni Willison’s life has taken a drastic turn from a highly sought model married to a celebrity to becoming homeless and living on the streets. Loni, who was married to Jeremy from 2012 to 2014, appears to be mentally unstable as her recent picture raises concern about her mental health among fans. Loni Willison was recently spotted in Los Angeles appearing unkempt and unrecognizable. She was photographed having lunch with her hands seemingly covered in paint while she sat down surrounded by a pile of rubbish. This is not the first time the disturbing photos of the model are circulating online as she has previously been seen wheeling a cart of clothes while smoking a cigarette and looking disoriented. What happened to Jeremy Jackson and Loni Willison? Jeremy Jackson and ex-wife Loni Willison / Instagram Jeremy Jackson had a tough time growing up as he battled drug and alcohol addiction, and it seems this played a major role in the longevity of his marriage to Loni. His ex-wife once alleged that during one of their confrontations, he attempted to strangle her, but she managed to escape with a neck injury and two broken ribs. Loni started experiencing a psychological breakdown following her divorce, as she shared in an interview that she now has a phobia of electric currents because being around them triggers the feeling of electrocution. Things spiraled out of control, and she resulted to consuming crystal meth as she claims it helps her deal with her mental health issue. Sadly, in 2016, she reportedly suffered a mental breakdown, subsequently losing her job, home, and car due to her addiction to alcohol and crystal meth. Baywatch star’s homeless ex-wife LONI WILLISON, 41, seen eating lunch alone on the sidewalk https://t.co/m46Wll3RP3 — DAILY POST (@dailypost_ng) October 14, 2024   Loni refused to get help Following her first viral photo, Loni was visited by her concerned celebrity friend Kristin Rossetti, who offered to help pay for her treatment, but she refused and disappeared afterward. Loni claimed that she is at peace with her current life, and she has found a way to cope with the harshness of living on the street by going on prolonged days without taking baths, so her body can stink, and she loses appeal to any sexual predator. Lori Willison/Instagram It is sad to see that Loni has shut out all her friends who wish to help her, and she has fully embraced being homeless, while her ex-husband Jeremy, who she claimed caused her this trauma due to his drug addiction, has now sought help and is staying clean presently.
