The LX 700h is equipped with a 3.5L V6 twin-turbo hybrid system with a waterproof battery and a divider that helps prevent water ingress to the engine, and a waterproof AC inverter that provides up to 2,400 watts of external power supply. If water gets into the system, you’ll be alerted on the new 12.3-inch full LCD meter screen. Lexus says its newly designed parallel hybrid system integrates a motor generator with a clutch positioned in between the engine and transmission. Intel’s new flagship Core Ultra 200S series of processors, arriving on October 24th, are focused on performance per watt to run cooler and more efficiently than the previous 14th Gen chips. The recall affects 27,527 Taycans built between October 21st, 2019, and February 1st, 2024, according to the NHTSA safety recall report. The problem has been narrowed down to a cell block module in the LG Chem-produced batteries used in the Taycan. This is Apple’s first scripted short film for the Vision Pro. | Image: Apple I don’t like submarines. The idea of being trapped, several hundred feet underwater, in a narrow, creaking death trap? No thanks. I already knew that going into a screening of Submerged, the first scripted short film shot in Apple Immersive Video for the Vision Pro. Now that I’ve seen it, I’m triply sure. Written and directed by Oscar winner Edward Berger, Submerged takes place inside a WWII submarine that’s under attack. It follows the crew as they try to escape a sinking submarine. As a longtime Apple Watch user who upgraded to the Apple Watch Series 10 a few weeks ago, I was stunned to see the amazing battery life I got out of the device. The Series 10 comes with the same 18-hour "all-day" battery life estimate as its predecessors. But I'm getting 30 to 36 hours of use on a single charge. It's far better than I could have dreamed. I did make one change to the Apple Watch Series 10, and I thought that would explain the significantly improved battery life experience. I disabled the Always On functionality, as that's something I don't need from the Apple Watch right now. It turns out I'm not the only Apple Watch Series 10 owner to praise the surprising battery life.
