Trump, Musk Vow to Defend Free Speech as Left Endorses Censorship

Former President  Donald Trump and X owner Elon Musk affirmed their dedication to bolstering free speech Saturday, even as the left has endorsed censorship of its ideological opponents. Trump promised to “restore free speech” at his rally Saturday in Butler, PA. During the rally, the GOP presidential nominee also lauded X owner Elon Musk for his efforts to shield speech from Big Tech censorship on the X platform. This came just after several Democrat politicians came out of the woodwork in support of censorship. Trump returned to Butler this past weekend for the first time since he was shot in July. During his speech, the former president outlined his vision for America, specifically noting his intention to “restore free speech.” Trump also introduced Musk as the man who “saved free speech” when the X owner joined the GOP nominee on stage for a speech of his own.  The day after the rally, Musk commented, “So many prominent Democrats want to destroy the First Amendment!” Musk’s post comes in reaction to former Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s anti-free speech comments to CNN host Michael Smerconish last week. She argued in the interview that online censorship is necessary or “we lose total control.” But Clinton is far from the only Democrat pushing for increased online censorship. Former Biden-Harris climate envoy John Kerry said at a September World Economic Forum meeting, “our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to just, you know, hammer [disinformation] out of existence.”  Tim Walz, the vice presidential running mate for Democrat Vice President and presidential hopeful Kamala Harris, mischaracterized free speech law during the 2024 Vice Presidential debate on CBS News in suggesting that censorship is necessary because people “can’t yell fire in a crowded theater.” This supposed standard actually refers to a nonbinding assertion in a 1919 Supreme Court opinion that was subsequently overturned in 1969.  But there’s more. Harris also repeatedly called for Big Tech to censor her rival Trump in 2019. And Rep. Adam Schiff and seven other Democrat congressmen sent a Sept. 30 letter to Big Tech CEOs pushing for more censorship, especially of Trump. Both Republican and Independent candidates running against Biden and Harris, including Trump, Ron DeSantis, and Robert Kennedy Jr., were targeted for censorship this election cycle. Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on “hate speech” and equal footing for conservatives. If you have been censored, contact us using CensorTrack’s contact form, and help us hold Big Tech accountable.

Parents' damning texts about their children lead officials to grisly fire pit discovery: Court docs

A mother and father from Indiana have been charged with murdering two of their children. Steven Valle, 31, and Samantha Sebella, 25 — both of Wheatfield — were arrested last week and charged with murder, neglect of a dependent causing death, abuse of a corpse, and failure to report a dead body.'YOU KILLED OUR BABIES, I HAVE THEIR DNA IN MY BODY FOREVER.'On Sept. 20, deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the pair after a tipster informed authorities about a horrifying confession. The informant allegedly told police that Valle told friends he killed two of his children. Detectives located Valle at a hotel in Newton County. He denied the allegations. However, police obtained a search warrant and seized the couple's cell phones, which allegedly contained damning evidence. Turns out there were text messages between the pair on the phones that appeared to indicate Valle murdered the two children, according to court documents. “You killed my kids cause you are a fa****, you never loved me,” one message read, WXIN-TV reported.“YOU KILLED OUR BABIES, I HAVE THEIR DNA IN MY BODY FOREVER,” another message between Sebella and Valle reportedly read.According to WXIN, the police report "insinuated that Valle had smothered his first-born child and drowned his second-born."A judge determined there was enough evidence to arrest Valle and Sebella on Friday, Law & Crime said. The couple was taken to the Jasper County Detention Center, where they remain without bond. Both suspects allegedly denied ever having more than one child, telling investigators their child was born in their home without documentation. The Indiana Department of Child Services removed this child from the couple's custody.Indeed, the Jasper County Health Department informed investigators there wasn’t any record of Sebella ever having given birth. The pair reportedly also told investigators Sebella never had a miscarriage or a stillbirth. But during a second police interview, Sebella allegedly admitted that she had given birth to a boy in 2018.Valle claimed to police that he found Sebella passed out with an infant lying between her legs, according to court documentsValle reportedly claimed the baby was not awake or breathing, so he cleaned up the infant, placed him in a blanket, and put him in a box. Valle claimed to have buried the child in the backyard three days after the birth because he “knew the child wouldn’t be coming back to life.”According to court documents, Valle claimed to investigators Sebella got pregnant a second time, but the baby was prematurely born in a bathtub while he was at work. Valle allegedly buried the second baby in the backyard near the first deceased infant. Police say Valle informed them that he dug up the corpses of his children three to five years after their deaths and burned them in a fire pit. He saved some of the ashes to make a necklace as a memento, according to court docs. On Sept. 30, the sheriff’s office, Indiana State Police, Jasper County Coroner’s Office along with two cadaver dogs went to the Wheatfield property where Valle and Sebella had previously lived. The couple reportedly was evicted from the property earlier this year. “With the cooperation of the landowner and the current residents, the search began, and the cadaver dogs alerted to three separate locations on the property. A preliminary search at these locations uncovered partial bone fragments,” deputies wrote, according to Law & Crime. The outlet added that authorities took the bone fragments to a specialist in Indianapolis for testing to determine whether they were from an infant or animal, and the sheriff's office said the fragments were human. Deputies said the couple did not inform authorities about the births, deaths, burials, or burnings of their children. You can view a video report here about the case.Like Blaze News? Dodgers starting pitcher surrounded by mob at California racetrack and robbed of $100k watch

The starting pitcher of the Los Angeles Dodgers was reportedly robbed of a $100k watch near the Santa Anita Park racetrack in Arcadia, California. Walker Buehler and his wife McKenzie were walking from the paddock to their seats on September 28 when they were approached by a mob of people, who surrounded them, according to a statement from Excel Sports Management.'Walker is focused on the playoffs.'Someone in the mob unbuttoned Buehler's shirt sleeve and took his luxury watch, according to a KABC-TV report. The Arcadia Police Department said there were three individuals who were robbed of watches at the same event. They described what happened after one of the robberies. "After removing the watch, the group of suspects dispersed and left the area. At that time, the victim realized their watch was stolen and reported the incident to Santa Anita Park security. At no time during the incident was the victim threatened," said police. Police said they identified one suspect as 24-year-old Camilo Nino-Hernandez, who was arrested on suspicion of grand theft. She was also arrested for allegedly being in possession of a fraudulent Social Security card. Nearly 22k people attended the California Classic racing event. Buehler is from Kentucky and is a lifelong horse racing fan. He is scheduled to pitch in game three of the National League Division Series Tuesday in San Diego. The series is tied at one victory for each team. "The incident was reported to police and is currently under investigation," the Excel Sports statement said. "We are grateful Walker and McKenzie were not harmed and Walker is focused on the playoffs.”Like Blaze News? Is Aaron Rodgers' flop in New York due to age or injury? Jason Whitlock says NEITHER

Last NFL season, Jets fans rejoiced when celebrated quarterback Aaron Rodgers left Wisconsin for New York, but three snaps into the first game, Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon and was out for the rest of the year. But now, a healed Rodgers is ready to take on the 2024 season — except it doesn’t appear that he is actually ready. “The Jets can't score; Aaron Rodgers looks like a shell of himself; he's throwing interceptions; he cost the Jets the game [last Sunday],” says Jason Whitlock. What’s going on? Is Rodgers’ age finally catching up to him? He is the oldest player in the NFL after all. Or was his Achilles injury a career-ender? Jason says it’s something else entirely that’s causing Aaron Rodgers to backslide. - YouTube www.youtube.com “Football and the quarterback position cannot be your side hustle, and that's what Aaron Rodgers has done to his football career,” says Jason. “The man spent the off season thinking about running for vice president with RFK; he spent the off season in Egypt rather than attending a mandatory OTA [Organized Team Activities].” “He’s taken the game for granted, and this will not be a replay of the 2015 Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers,” he assures. However, Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets aren’t the only 2024 flops, according to Jason. To hear his other predictions, watch the clip above.
