President Joe Biden has directed up to 1,000 active duty troops to immediately deploy to assist with response and recovery efforts in communities hit by Hurricane Helene, the White House said on Wednesday.

Jason says his granddad is not awake every day as his final moments draw near. He also added that Jimmy is simply making the most of his time left amid having to live without Rosalynn for the first time in decades. Current president Joe Biden has been close to Jimmy during these tough times and even put out an early birthday message to celebrate him.
