The official start of the holiday season means something different to everyone. It could be simply digging out your sweaters and Christmas pajamas. The tree is a beauty indeed. According to NBC News, the tree is 74 feet tall, 43 feet wide, and weighs 11 tons. It sparkles with 50,000 bulbs and more than 5 miles of wire. The tree has a 900-pound star made of 3 million crystals covering 70 spikes. It is truly a site to see. President of McDonald’s USA, Joe Erlinger, stopped by Good Morning America on December 5 to share the exciting news.
