New Kitten Hisses Ferociously At Family Dog — Changes His Tune The Very Next Day

Everyone loves those adorable cat and dog videos where they meet and become instant best friends. But when this new kitten met the family dog, it’s clear to see that they were off to a bit of a rough start. This new cat met his dog sibling and things were immediately rocky. He was hissing and arching his back, expressing some serious disinterest in meeting the pup. But this sweet golden retriever stood patiently waiting for her new brother to calm down and come around. @coolwhitaker Replying to @paula Egg & Sadie — besties for life #dog #cat #dogsoftiktok #catsoftiktok #catdistributionsystem ♬ original sound – John. It didn’t take long! This new kitten, Egg, and her dog sister Sadie, only took about a day to become forever friends. What was a Halloween nightmare turned quickly into a love fest featuring Egg nestled comfortably on Sadie’s tummy. Are you kidding!? Does it get any cuter than that?! Not to mention, Sadie and Egg are an iconic duo. A black cat and a golden retriever becoming besties seems like a good plot of a Disney movie, if you ask me! This image is from TikTok. What do people think about this precious kitten and dog friendship? Over 100,000 people have liked this viral video on TikTok. I mean, who couldn’t like a clip of a new kitten and a dog becoming lifelong friends? Some enthusiastic fans took to the comment section to share their obsession with this interspecies friendship. “This is my dream combo. Black cat and golden. Well done,” commented one approving fan. This image is from TikTok. “That kitten looks like a cute lil Halloween decoration that came to life,” said another viewer. Egg is just in time for Spooky Season! Then one viewer asked, “How long did it take to go from bites to biscuits?” The owner of this sweet duo responded: “Less than 24hrs Sadie is such a sweet dog, especially with little animals though.” We couldn’t be more excited to see this precious pair thrive! 10 Best Rock Songs About Dancing

Dancing and rock and roll have always gone hand in hand, forming one of the most timeless and electric combinations in the history of music. From the early days of rock in the ’50s, where teenagers packed dance halls, to modern-day concerts where crowds pulse with the beat, dancing is central to the rock experience. The celebration of life, energy, and rebellion that defines rock and roll is almost always accompanied by movement. Whether it’s the rebellious stomp of a punk anthem, the infectious groove of funk rock, or the euphoric sway of a power ballad, dancing is intrinsic to The post 10 Best Rock Songs About Dancing appeared first on ClassicRockHistory.com.

Spain’s Olive Oil Producers Turn Tons of Their Pits into Fuel–For Homes, Planes and Industry

In a rather unique story from Reuters, the Spanish olive oil market is profiled for what it can do to power Spain’s homes, not just its economy and kitchens. Accounting for half the production of olive oil in the EU, growers are now getting to sell olive pits as a valuable ingredient for biofuel. Hundreds […] The post Spain’s Olive Oil Producers Turn Tons of Their Pits into Fuel–For Homes, Planes and Industry appeared first on Good News Network.

Dark Matter Somehow Might Interact With Ordinary Matter

The reason we call dark matter dark isn’t because it’s some shadowy material. It’s because dark matter doesn’t interact with light. The difference is subtle, but important. Regular matter can be dark because it absorbs light, reports www.universetoday.com. It’s why, for example, we can see the shadow of molecular clouds against the scattered stars of the Milky Way. This is possible because light and matter have a way to connect. Light is an electromagnetic wave, and atoms contain electrically charged electrons and protons, so matter can emit, absorb and scatter light. Dark matter isn’t electrically charged. It has no way to connect with light, and so when light and dark matter meet up they simply pass through each other. All of our observations suggest that dark matter and light only have gravity in common. When dark matter is clustered around a galaxy, for example, its gravitational tug can deflect light. Because of this we can map the distribution of dark matter in the Universe by observing how light is gravitationally lensed around it. We also know that dark and regular matter interact gravitationally. The tug of dark matter causes galaxies to gather together into superclusters. But an unanswered question is whether dark and regular matter only interact gravitationally. If an atom and dark matter particle intersected, would they really just pass through each other? Since we haven’t directly observed dark matter particles we can only speculate, but most dark matter models argue that gravity is the only common link with light and regular matter. Dark and regular matter clump around each other, but they don’t collide and merge like interstellar clouds. But a new study suggests the two do interact, which could reveal subtle aspects of the mysterious stuff. The study looks at six ultrafaint dwarf galaxies, or UFDs. They are satellite galaxies near the Milky Way that seem to have far fewer stars than their mass would suggest. This is because they are mostly made of dark matter. If regular and dark matter only interact gravitationally, then the distribution of stars in these small galaxies should follow a certain pattern. If dark and regular matter interact directly, then this distribution will be skewed. To test this the team ran computer simulations of both scenarios. They found that in the non-interacting model the distribution of stars should become more dense in the center of the UFDs and more diffuse at the edges. In the interacting model the stellar distribution should be more uniform. When they compared these models with observations of the six galaxies, they found the interacting model was a slightly better fit. So it seems dark and regular matter interact in ways beyond their gravitational tugs. There isn’t enough data to pin down the exact nature of the interaction, but the fact there is any interaction at all is a surprise. It means that our traditional models of dark matter are at least partly wrong. It may also point the way toward new methods of detecting dark matter directly. In time we may finally solve the mystery of this dark, but not entirely invisible, material. The post Dark Matter Somehow Might Interact With Ordinary Matter appeared first on Anomalien.com.

Welcome to Meta’s future, where everyone wears cameras

See that little circle? That’s a camera. | Photo by Vjeran Pavic / The Verge All around Meta’s Menlo Park campus, cameras stared at me. I’m not talking about security cameras or my fellow reporters’ DSLRs. I’m not even talking about smartphones. I mean Ray-Ban and Meta’s smart glasses, which Meta hopes we’ll all — one day, in some form — wear. I visited Meta for this year’s Connect conference, where just about every hardware product involved cameras. They’re on the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses that got a software update, the new Quest 3S virtual reality headset, and Meta’s prototype Orion AR glasses. Orion is what Meta calls a “time machine”: a functioning example of what full-fledged AR could look like, years before it will be consumer-ready. But on Meta’s campus, at least, the Ray-Bans were already everywhere. It... Continue reading…

BREAKING: Fans shocked that celebrities who rap about drugs, rape, and murder are actually horrible people in real life too

NEW YORK—In an absolutely unforeseen twist that has blindsided his fanbase, music mogul and notorious “Freak Off” party host P Diddy (aka P Diddler or Sean Combs) has been slapped with sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Fans who once idolized his lavish lifestyle and wild parties are now grappling with the hard truth that their favorite rap icon, who casually rapped about living on the edge, was apparently doing just that — and then some. “I mean, the ‘Freak Off’ parties always sounded kind of edgy, but I thought it was all for show,” said one stunned fan, clutching a vintage Bad Boy Records hoodie. “He rapped about running the streets, and I just assumed it was a metaphor… you know, like performance art or something. Who knew he was actually out here racketeering?” The indictment has sent shockwaves through the music world, as fans struggle to reconcile their love for Diddy’s chart-topping hits with the grim reality of his behind-the-scenes antics. “I’m just so disappointed,” said another heartbroken follower. “I never thought that when he said, ‘Let’s get freaky tonight,’ he meant it in the RICO Act kind of way.” Diddy’s lawyer has yet to release an official statement, but insiders suggest the defense might lean heavily on the “everyone else was doing it” argument. Meanwhile, fellow artists are keeping a safe distance, with some muttering that Diddy’s legendary “Freak Off” parties may have been a little too freaky for their taste. “I mean, I thought it was just a vibe,” said one unnamed rapper nervously, glancing at his own legal team. As the legal battle looms, fans and celebrities alike are left grappling with a question no one wanted to ask: when your favorite rapper throws a “Freak Off” party, is it just a party — or is it a prelude to federal charges? P Diddy’s legal team has not commented on the charges directly, but sources close to the rapper suggest his upcoming defense strategy will involve blaming everything on Trump. As the case unfolds, one thing is certain: fans will keep pretending to be shocked, right up until the next rapper gets indicted for the very things they’ve been rapping about all along.
