Biden’s first question framed him as a hero, with co-host Sara Haines claiming that he’d been “putting his country first ahead of any personal ambition” when he stepped back from the 2024 race and endorsed Harris. She made no attempt to question him about failed policies, rampant inflation, or stubbornly high prices — but instead wondered whether he was “at peace” with the decision to end his political career. She was a first-rate prosecutor, she was a United States Senator of significant consequence.” “And as vice president, there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do,” he added. “And so I was able to delegate her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy.” Harris may not appreciate Biden’s accolades, however, as she has spent most of her time since becoming the candidate trying to distance herself from the White House and paint herself as a candidate who represents change. Biden’s repeated efforts to “help” her only tie her more closely to the policies that she appears to be trying to escape at all costs.

Academy Award-winning director James Cameron has joined the board of directors of the artificial intelligence company Stability AI after sounding the alarm about the technology last year. “I just don’t personally believe that a disembodied mind that’s just regurgitating what other embodied minds have said — about the life that they’ve had, about love, about lying, about fear, about mortality — and just put it all together into a word salad and then regurgitate it,” Cameron said during an interview in 2023, as The Daily Wire previously reported. “You got to follow the money. Who’s building these things? They’re either building it to dominate marketing shares, so you’re teaching it greed, or you’re building it for defensive purposes, so you’re teaching it paranoia. Whoopi Goldberg made it clear during Wednesday’s broadcast of “The View” that she was still not over what the Democratic Party did to President Joe Biden in forcing him to step away from the 2024 presidential race. Goldberg complained that the Democrats — some of whom made very public statements as they determined that President Biden was not, in their minds, capable of moving forward with the campaign or another term in office — should have kept their opinions and their counsel private. Biden attributed his exit to different things throughout the interview, saying at one point that he had always intended for his presidency to be “transitional” and at another that he had only just finally realized how truly old he was. “It’s hard to think of — it’s hard for me to even say how old I am. I didn’t like the way it was done publicly. I thought they could have done this in a different way because we didn’t need to hear all the inner fighting. I didn’t like it, I’m saying it to you, you were my ride or die. I was going where — wherever you were going, that was where I was going.” Goldberg went on to say that she had expected Biden to pass the torch to Harris after just one term, but argued that Trump’s decision to enter the 2024 race, setting up a potential rematch, had changed the calculus because she believed Biden would have the best chance to beat him.
