Exposing Associated Press’s DEI Whitewashing in Congressional Shakedown Report

Exposing Associated Press’s DEI Whitewashing in Congressional Shakedown Report

The Associated Press (AP) fawned over an obvious shakedown attempt by the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) in service of a radical leftist discriminatory ideology.  The AP completely ignored major flaws in a CBC report and ran cover for DEI in a Monday article. AP Race and Politics Report Matt Brown covered a CBC report that promoted diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and pressured companies that made leftist promises during the destructive Black Lives Matter riots of 2020. The CBC report at the center of the AP article touted that 189 companies, including 139 from the Fortune 500, had answered questions about corporate DEI. The congressional body claimed that “100% of the companies that responded to the CBC’s outreach went above and beyond to share their progress on advancing equity.”  Throughout the report, the CBC repeatedly called for corporate “accountability,” pressuring them to deliver on financial promises made during the 2020 riots—made when radical activists were ascendant and mobs were burning cities. Brown didn’t call out the CBC for trying to wring donations out of corporations to support the “activism” of “advocacy organizations.” Instead, the AP reporter simply put that corporations were innocuously asked to “work with the CBC to fulfill pledges on racial and economic inequality.” He also ignored that the report still proudly displayed a discredited study by management consultancy firm McKinsey & Company. Citing McKinsey, the CBC argued, “Moreover, the business case for DEI has never been more evident; research makes clear that corporate DEI efforts improve profitability and performance.”  In March 2024, UNC-Chapel Hill Professor of Accounting John R. M. Hand and Texas A&M Associate Professor of Accounting Jeremiah Green debunked the McKinsey study “Diversity Wins." While the letter in the report predated Green and Hand’s work, Brown and the CBC published their respective work on Monday.  The AP article also went to bat for DEI in general, defining the ideology in favorable terms. “DEI policies are official guidelines and programs meant to welcome people of various backgrounds into an organization and create a culture where they feel included to do their work,” Brown wrote. “Such policies can be as broad or narrow as an organization decides and can focus on any demographic.” Not even close. What is DEI? DEI includes leftist employee training, dividing employee groups by race and capitulation to radical LGBT organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). These measures have been so widely condemned that companies such as Ford, Molson Coors, Tractor Supply, Harley-Davidson, Lowe's, Jack Daniel’s parent company Brown-Furman and others have abandoned them and similar practices.  The implementation of DEI also constitutes using racial discrimination in hiring, promotions and choice of vendors/suppliers. A report by Bloomberg News, owned by leftist billionaire Michael Bloomberg, laid out how this worked in 2021. Merely six percent of jobs at major companies analyzed by Bloomberg went to white individuals in 2021. Simultaneously, white people made up 68.5% of layoffs at the studied companies that shrank that same year. Notably, Bloomberg attributed this massive shift to some of the same promises demanded by the CBC.  Related: Jeremy Carl, Author of The Unprotected Class, Exposes DEI Initiatives in Exclusive Interview The AP made no mention of racial discrimination stemming from the CBC-endorsed DEI initiatives.  Conservatives are under attack! Contact ABC News (818) 460-7477, CBS News (212) 975-3247 and NBC News (212) 664-6192 and demand they report on the dangers of leftist DEI ideology infecting corporate America.

‘I have never seen as many lies in any debate’: Why the Harris-Trump ABC debate was a DISASTER

‘I have never seen as many lies in any debate’: Why the Harris-Trump ABC debate was a DISASTER

The first presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump was painful to watch, and it has very little to do with Trump’s performance — and a lot to do with Kamala and the ABC moderators. “I have never seen as many lies in any debate, maybe multiple debates combined,” Glenn tells the BlazeTV panel, adding, “The moderators were completely useless.” Both moderators interrupted Trump multiple times to argue or “fact-check” him, while Kamala went unscathed. “She looked at Donald Trump with absolute disdain, she couldn’t even hide it,” Glenn continues. “I think overall it’s not going to change anybody’s mind. If you were voting for Donald Trump, you’re still going to vote for Donald Trump.” Kamala routinely laughed, smiled, and nodded condescendingly while Trump spoke, which Glenn thinks will appeal to low information voters who think “she’s going to end all of this division.” “They’re doing exactly the same thing they did with Joe Biden. ‘He’s a moderate, he’s going to bring us back to normalcy.’ That’s what they’re doing again and I think in a very effective way for stupid, uninformed people. And that’s the campaign they’re running,” Glenn says. Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” agrees. “I would say it was a disgusting production but a very valiant effort by the ABC moderators to try to push Kamala and give her every opportunity that they could,” Gonzales says, noting that Project 2025 was brought up as Trump’s policies — when that couldn’t be further from the truth. “Nowhere did they fact check her on that,” she says. “She said no question Trump will sign a federal abortion ban, which is just funny, it’s laughable, because he gets hit from the left on that and while he’s getting hit from the right about not being pro-life enough.” Kamala also claimed she wouldn’t ban fracking, which she has stated many times in the past that she would ban fracking. “So you just see what turned out to just be a three-on-one pile on,” Gonzales says. “It turned into a character assassination back and forth.” Want more from Sara Gonzales? To enjoy more of Sara's no-holds-barred take to news and culture, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

Harris tries to use debate as 'newest ad' against Trump — but what her campaign removes from video tells the real story

Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign dropped a new political ad on Wednesday: video of her debate with Donald Trump."Our newest ad just dropped," the campaign boasted on social media.'She just started by saying she's going to do this, she's going to do that, she's going to do all these wonderful things. Why hasn't she done it?'Harris campaign officials posted the debate video as their "newest ad" because they think Harris not only won the debate but that she bested her opponent and made him look bad. Giving the debate as much oxygen as possible, they think, will help Harris. But there is a curious omission of approximately three minutes in the video the campaign posted: Trump's closing statement.Instead of including Trump's closing statement, the video cuts it out completely and ends with Harris' closing argument, even though Trump was allowed to give his closing remarks second. It's not clear why the Harris campaign cut out Trump's remarks, but examining Trump's words gives clues as to the motivation. While even conservative commentators believe Trump's overall debate performance was not his best, his closing statement was widely applauded. That's because Trump asked an important question — arguably the one that will define the election — that Republicans believe should be at the center of Trump's campaign message."So, she just started by saying she's going to do this, she's going to do that, she's going to do all these wonderful things. Why hasn't she done it?" Trump said. "She's been there for three and a half years. They've had three and a half years to fix the border. They've had three and a half years to create jobs and all the things we talked about. Why hasn't she done it?" the former president continued. "She should leave right now, go down to that beautiful White House, go to the Capitol, get everyone together, and do the things you want to do. But you haven't done it. And you won't do it. Because you believe in things that the American people don't believe in."Not only did Trump emphasize that question, but he knocked Harris for her secretive policy flip-flops — before returning to that critical question."We can't sacrifice our country for the sake of bad vision. But I just ask one simple question: Why didn't she do it?" he reiterated.Debate moderator David Muir opened the debate by posing a form of the same question to Harris — "When it comes to the economy, do you believe Americans are better off than they were four years ago?" — but Harris dodged it completely. It's likely that Trump and Republicans will continue to emphasize those two questions over the final 53 days of the election. If Americans begin to answer them, Democrats likely won't like their conclusions.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. FBI investigating death of 12-year-old boy who fell from balcony of cruise ship

A 12-year-old boy has died after falling from the balcony of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas was on a seven-day cruise in the western Caribbean with stops in Honduras and Mexico.'We are deeply saddened to confirm the death of one of our guests.'On Saturday, the ship was en route to Galveston, Texas. On the last night of the cruise, a 12-year-old boy plummeted to his death after falling from a balcony.According to People magazine, the boy fell from the ship's "Central Park" neighborhood — an open area in the ship's interior on the 8th deck — which includes bars, restaurants, shops, and more than 10,000 plants and flowers. The FBI confirmed that it was investigating the incident, according to the Washington Post, noting that it's “the primary federal agency authorized to investigate potential crimes on the high seas,” and was coordinating with the U.S. Coast Guard and Customs and Border Protection.Royal Caribbean released a statement on the boy's death: “We are deeply saddened to confirm the death of one of our guests. Our Care Team is providing support and assistance to the guest’s family during this difficult time. For the privacy of the guest and their family, we have no additional details to share.”The FBI and Royal Caribbean did not reveal the circumstances of how the boy fell from the balcony. The Harmony of the Seas cruise ship docked in Galveston at 7 a.m. Sunday, according to cruise tracking site CruiseMapper. In 2019, a 16-year-old boy fell to his death while attempting to climb into his room from the balcony of the Harmony of the Seas ship. The teen was on the eighth floor, according to the Broward Medical Examiner’s Office. The teen reportedly fell and landed on a pier after attempting to climb into his room from a nearby balcony because he forgot his room key. Under the Cruise Vessel Security and Safety Act that was passed in 2010, railings on cruise ships must be at least 42 inches tall.Harmony of the Seas was first launched in 2016 and has 18 decks and a maximum capacity of 6,687.Between 1995 and 2024, there were 416 people who went overboard while on cruise ships, according to data compiled by cruise industry researcher Ross Klein. Total War Pharaoh is recovering to become one of the series’ best

You can't accuse Total War: Pharaoh studio Creative Assembly of failing to work hard to improve the game. After a rocky launch last year saw the latest in the series stumble out of the gate, the team responsible for it has continued to give the game plenty of attention, issuing huge updates that expand and drastically overhaul nearly every feature.
