Watergate Prosecutor Wine-Banks: 'Thrilled' Biden Pardoned Hunter, Should Pardon 'Himself' Next

Former prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks, one of the prosecutors during the Watergate scandal, said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Prime” that she was “thrilled” President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter Biden.…

The Indefatigable California Vote Factory

California public schools routinely rank among the lowest in national education testing for mathematics, and it’s tempting to connect this statistic to the Golden State’s glacial vote counting process. Sadly, the failure of California’s election officials to discover a winner in certain key House races can’t be written off to anything as innocuous as poor math skills. In CA-13, for example, GOP incumbent John Duarte was about 3,100 votes ahead of Democrat challenger Adam Gray on Nov. 6. The total number of votes cast in this district was less than 210,000 but, after more than three weeks of ballot counting, election officials now say that Gray leads by 190 votes. At the risk of repeating myself, now is the time to rein in one-party fiefdoms like California with national election reform. Meanwhile, in CA-27, Republican incumbent Mike Garcia led Democrat challenger George Whitesides by about 4,800 votes on Nov. 6. But the vote counters soldiered on and inevitably they found enough ballots for the Democrat to declare himself victorious. Likewise, in CA-45, GOP incumbent Michelle Steel led Democrat challenger Derek Tran by about 10,000 votes shortly after Election Day. The counting continued, of course, and after a couple of weeks the Democrat found himself with a 102 vote lead. The rest was as inevitable as Greek tragedy. Both Garcia and Steel conceded without a fight, presumably to avoid being slandered as “election deniers.” Thus, three GOP House seats succumbed to the counters. How Does California Do It? It’s possible, of course, that these Democrat wins were achieved legitimately. But how could it have taken weeks to discover this miracle? The most likely answer is that Democrat vote counters in Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin and Orange counties mined their caches of defective ballots and “fixed” enough to put their candidates over the top. California is a universal mail-in state where Voter ID is literally illegal and every person listed on its voter rolls is automatically sent a postage-paid ballot. This system guarantees election skullduggery. The state can’t track what happens to ballots once they are mailed out. As the Public Interest Legal Foundation reported at the time, millions evaporated in 2022: After accounting for polling place votes and rejected ballots in November 2022, there were more than 10 million ballots left outstanding, meaning election officials do not know what happened to them. It is fair to assume that the bulk of these were ignored or ultimately thrown out by the intended recipients. But, under mass mail elections, we can only assume what happened. Mail voting practices have an insurmountable information gap. The public cannot know how many ballots were disregarded, delivered to wrong mailboxes, or even withheld from the proper recipient by someone at the same address. A major source of temptation for unscrupulous Democrat election officials involves ballots that are returned pursuant to some defect. Many bounce back because they are mailed to bad addresses, for example. Why are so many sent to invalid or even nonexistent addresses? Dozens of California counties, including those noted above,  have refused to update their voter rolls as required by the National Voter Registration Act Of 1993 (NVRA). Section 8 of the NVRA requires States to maintain accurate and current voter registration rolls. It is no coincidence that other districts that just flipped from red to blue after weeks of counting are dominated by officials who have consistently declined to comply with NVRA. California has been repeatedly sued for ignoring this statute. The most recent lawsuit, Judicial Watch Inc. and the Libertarian Party of CA v. Shirley Weber et al., was filed after the plaintiffs discovered that 16 counties had no mechanism in place for identifying invalid registrations. Another 16 possessed the capacity to do so but had removed none from their voter rolls, plus 5 additional counties that removed five or fewer. These 37 counties include Merced, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus (CA-13) and Orange (CA-45). A previous Judicial Watch lawsuit forced Los Angeles County (CA-27) to remove 1.2 million invalid registrations. Inevitably, the corporate media have dismissed concerns about voter rolls. CNN is typical: Questioning the accuracy of voter rolls has long been a hallmark of right-wing efforts to raise doubts about the integrity of elections and featured prominently in 2020 when allies of the former president pushed false claims that scores of fraudulently cast votes helped Joe Biden win the presidency … Meritless or not, the Biden administration has taken note. This month, the Justice Department reiterated that states have an obligation to comply with the National Voter Registration Act, a 30-year-old federal law that sets out rules for when and how most states can update their voter rolls. The Time Is Now for Reform That the Biden Justice Department — hardly a beacon of light in the storm of attacks on election integrity — recognizes the importance of the National Voter Registration Act is not nothing. But it almost certainly means the Biden DOJ sympathizes with out-of-control states like California. The good news, of course, is that Attorney General Merrick Garland is about to be replaced with former Florida AG Pam Bondi. She will be an advocate of the voters rather the vote counters. And, despite the best efforts of California Democrats, the GOP will soon control all three branches of the federal government. At the risk of repeating myself, now is the time to rein in one-party fiefdoms like California with national election reform. READ MORE from David Catron: Can Musk Dismantle the Deep State? MAGA Animal House

MAGA Animal House

“We know folly and evil when we see it,” X-posted the great American novelist Walter Kirn last week. “That is why literature and drama speak across time and across cultures.” Cinema certainly qualifies. And comic cinema may have the longest, deepest reach of all. At least it used to before Hollywoke killed the genre and wounded the art form. And few films have been more prophetic of the Trump Effect than one of the best screen farces ever made, National Lampoon’s Animal House. Last week, Nineties male fantasy Sharon Stone …  insulted America during an interview in Italy. The 1978 monster hit shook the still pliant liberal order of the era, and retarded feminist-centric “entertainment” for more than a decade — by being hilariously brilliant. A single scene of John Belushi’s Bluto on a ladder peering into a sorority house window had more cultural power than anything in Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, An Unmarried Woman, Maude, One Day at a Time, or the then fully Alan Alda-nized M*A*S*H. Another bit, where fraternity pledge Tom Hulce is torn between a little devil and angel over performing sex on a passed-out date, would trigger a riot in academia and multimedia today. Even without the losing devil’s insult, “Homo!” Thanks to a masterful sequence from director John Landis, the movie re-popularized college toga parties, at the time deemed passe sexist bacchanalia. For years later, the highlight of every party we young people of both sexes attended was the Isley Brothers’ Shout. During which we would imitate the film’s revelers, even doing the Twist down and up. But what makes Animal House great art is how well it challenged the late-Seventies zeitgeist forming under an unmanly President, post-Vietnam depression, a sense of male impotence, leftist sermonizing, and national Malaise (about to get much worse with the Iran Hostage Crisis). To be fair, Star Wars had punctured the progressive bubble a year earlier by resurrecting male heroes and the clarity of good versus evil. But Animal House magnified the virtue of masculine defiance of an oppressive establishment with a sense of fun. The movie’s intolerant Dean Wormer (a superlative John Vernon) and his lapdog orthodox fraternity engage in 20th Century lawfare (“double secret probation”) against the uninhibited Delta frat “deplorables.” And no screen sequence is more predictive or evocative of today’s corrupt Democratic persecution of MAGA than the Deltas’ kangaroo expulsion trial. “I’ll tell you what’s fair and what’s not!” Wormer decrees. This provokes Trump-caliber mockery by Delta House’s Otter (an unforgettable Tim Matheson). “Ladies and gentlemen, I’ll be brief,” Otter orates. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests … We did. But you can’t hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few sick, perverted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn’t we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn’t this an indictment of our education institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg. Isn’t this an indictment of our entire American society? (Cheers from the Deltas). Well, you can do what you want to us. But we’re not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America! At which point all the Deltas march out humming the Star-Spangled Banner. It is this concept of masculine ridicule mixed with patriotism that drove the male-led destruction of leftist rule last month. Like the Deltas, men showed their contempt for repressive government and cultural authority telling them how they should behave and what to say or think. Their appreciation for feminine beauty was either denied or condemned as the “male gaze.” They were told that fat was beautiful, and men could be women, whom their girlfriends or daughters had to tolerate in the bathroom and compete against. That annoying beta-male creeps like Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff were real men. And even the sexy starlets they’d once dreamt about berated them as ignorant jerks. It was bad enough when the formerly sweet Pretty Woman turned misandrous crone Julia Roberts narrated a political ad urging wives to secretly vote for Kamala then lie to their husbands (“In the one place in America where people still have a right to choose, you can vote anyway you want, and no one will ever know.”) Last week, Nineties male fantasy Sharon Stone — physiognomically morphed into Margaret Hamilton in The Wizard of Oz — insulted America during an interview in Italy. “My country is in its adolescence,” Stone said. “Adolescence thinks it knows everything. Adolescence is naïve and ignorant and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence.” By adolescents, of course, Stone means the toxic men that voted for Trump and “forced” their wives to do the same. What drove these women to revile the men who made them famous? Who accompanied their dates to Pretty Woman, Sleeping with the Enemy, and My Best Friend’s Wedding. Or took them to see Basic Instinct, Silver, or The Specialist because of Sharon Stone. Who work hard to protect and raise their families. Who would prefer to be entertained than offended. And who will vote for a strong protective leader rather than a vacuous cackling fool. The actresses can’t answer that. Because the answer would expose them for the empty shells they — and their entire godless narcissistic community and political party — are. It’s why they’re fleeing X — where they can say anything they want yet be exposed to alternate thought — and flocking to Bluesky, where they won’t be. They’ll miss the rest of the country celebrating this Advent. To quote Flounder in Animal House: Boy, oh boy, is this great!” READ MORE from Lou Aguilar: A Happier Thanksgiving The Night That Wrecked Hollywoke Donald Trump just nominated Kash Patel to direct and delouse the FBI, to the anguish of its current leadership — exactly as my new political thriller, The Washington Trail, predicted. In the words of my ex-FBI private-eye hero, Neil Cork: “’Orange Satan’ is poised to retake the White House. Once he does, he’ll torch every agency that burned him, beginning with my former bosses. If I know them, and I do, they won’t go down without a fight.” Read or gift the perfect post-election novel for Christmas. Available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and wherever fun mysteries are sold.    The post MAGA Animal House appeared first on The American Spectator | USA News and Politics.

Opening CAIR’s Books

The Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has long been suspected of receiving funding from terrorist groups and terror-supporting countries. Now, a federal magistrate has ruled that it must open its donor files and books on its assets as part of a discovery request in a lawsuit by a former employee. CAIR … is entirely wrong. There’s no genocide going on in Gaza. CAIR is a litigious group that consistently denies it receives funding from terrorist groups or other illegal sources, and passes itself off as a Muslim civil rights group. In 2021, CAIR sued former employee Lori Saroya for defamation because she had said that CAIR received terrorist funding and had terror connections. (CAIR subsequently dropped the lawsuit). Saroya counter-sued also for defamation contending that what she had said about CAIR’s terrorist ties were true. (READ MORE from Jed Babbin: Biden Is Trump-Proofing the World) The Book on CAIR Saroya’s lawyers probably won’t find any smoking guns in the form of direct evidence of illegal donations to CAIR. That’s because, as the 2006 book Alms for Jihad explained, CAIR and groups like it are funded through a chain of companies and charities designed to hide the real sources of the money. As Breitbart News has reported, “In 2007-8, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. That case, in turn, led the FBI to discontinue its work with the organization. In 2009, a federal judge ruled that the government ‘produced ample evidence to establish’ the ties of CAIR with Hamas, the Palestinian terror organization.” When Alms for Jihad was published in England in 2006, it was met with a massive libel suit aimed at suppressing it. A Saudi man named Khaled bin Mafouz, who the book accuses of helping fund terrorism through charities, filed a lawsuit in the UK (which was later settled) against publisher Cambridge University Press. Part of the settlement allegedly included that Cambridge University Press would help suppress its own publication. But the book caught on, nevertheless, in other countries. What Alms for Jihad says about CAIR is quite revealing. It says, first of all, that CAIR is “beholden” to the Saudi embassy in the U.S. That implies both ideological and financial support by the Saudis. Alms for Jihad says that the Holy Land Fund for Relief and Development (aka, Holy Land Foundation, referred to here as “HLF”) was perhaps the “most perfectly disguised Islamic charity.” Originally funded by a Gaza native named Marzouk, its funding quickly spread to Texas and HLF became a founding member of CAIR’s Texas chapter. Again, according to Alms for Jihad, in 1998 HLF joined with CAIR, the Islamic Society of North America and the Islamic Circle of North America “to sponsor American Muslim speakers whose anti-Jewish rhetoric in Arabic was as intense as any found in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip.” There are dozens, if not hundreds, of such groups. They shuffle money among themselves, always trying to conceal where the funds came from originally. Remember, please, that Alms for Jihad was written 18 years ago. Then, its authors wrote, “During the past three decades the Saudis created numerous enterprises, institutions, and charities whose resources and members were the agents for the spread of Salafist, Islamist Wahhabism throughout the world.” (Salafism and Wahhabism both reject Western culture and values and insist on the most literal interpretations of the Koran.) You can get an idea of how convoluted and complex — hence most difficult to prove — are the relationships between groups such as CAIR, HLF, and others are. It is entirely intentional, as Alms for Jihad says, to prevent the discovery of their connections to terrorist groups. It’s not only the Saudis that have done this. Other states, including Iran, have followed the Saudis’ example. CAIR is very active in defense of terrorism. For example, its executive director and co-founder, Nihad Awad, said in November 2023, that he was “happy” to witness the October 7, 2023 attacks by Hamas on Israel and its civilians. Those attacks killed 1,200 Israeli civilians (including 32 Americans) and featured the burning of babies and entire families in their homes, as well as the mass rape of Israeli women. That is what Awad defends. In that same statement Awad also said, “And yes, the people of Gaza have the right to self-defense, have the right to defend themselves. And yes, Israel as an occupying power does not have that right to self-defense.” That sounds like the Hamas-Iranian party line. Awad also contends that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) controls the U.S. congress. He said, “And if someone says, ‘Oh, Nihad Awad said this about the Congress,’ I tell you, ‘Yes, I say it today, and I will say it tomorrow — unless we free Congress, we will not be able to free Palestine.’” Awad wants to replace our elected congress with his allies. Several state governments, including Arizona (2017), South Carolina (2018), Mississippi (2018), Arkansas (2019) and Florida (2024) have suspended all connections with CAIR. So did the FBI in 2013. In 2014 the United Arab Emirates labeled CAIR and the Muslim American Society terrorist organizations. So far, our State Department has declined to do so. CAIR Is Wrong on Gaza In March 2024, CAIR issued a statement endorsing a UN report alleging that Israel is conducting genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza. Its statement said, “The latest report by the UN’s Special Rapporteur validates what has been obvious to anyone who has witnessed what Israel has been doing in Gaza for the past five months: that the Israeli government is clearly committing a genocide against the Palestinian people.” (READ MORE: Hegseth and Ratcliffe Face Big Challenges) Lt. Gen. David Deptula was the most senior U.S. officer to go to Gaza and see how the Israelis are conducting their war. In July, he wrote that: Gaza presents an extraordinarily difficult adversary environment. Yet the Israel Defense Forces face the acute challenge of defending their nation while striving to protect Palestinian civilians. Unfortunately, negative perceptions on social media and elsewhere, based on a combination of disinformation, ignorance, and anti-Semitism, indicates there is a wide gap between the reality I witnessed and the perceptions abroad. That says it all. CAIR, which may be an arm of Hamas or another terrorist network, is entirely wrong. There’s no genocide going on in Gaza despite what the UN, its International Criminal Court, and Hamas say. So CAIR and its ilk will probably continue to be able to advocate for terrorists. Free speech is still free, even when it’s disinformation and propaganda. The post Opening CAIR’s Books appeared first on The American Spectator | USA News and Politics.

Why Trump Needed to Name Some Outliers to His Team

In a normal world, there would be no MAGA because there would be no need to make America great — “again” or “otherwise” — because, plain and simple, America is manifestly and inherently great. Although I lean more conservative and populist than the RINOs of Bush, McCain, and Romney pedigree, I am not by nature all that “extreme,” though I am by nature intense. I am kind of like a Republican Will Rogers, Jr. — I like all people and always try to see things from their perspective, too. That makes me a better rabbi and made me a better attorney. My only caveat: don’t start up with me. When Compromise Suited America I love America and, beneath my tough façade, I recognize the need to compromise to get things done. My wife and I compromise and we have a great marriage. In a free and democratic republic, approximately half the people will lean one way, and the other half will lean the other way. That’s OK. That way the boat does not tilt over. Sure, I would prefer that everyone be a conservative populist, a compassionate capitalist, but that imposition of uniformity requires autocracy, dictatorship, and wholesale canceling or imprisoning or killing everyone on the other side. Not only is that repugnant to my values but, practically speaking, such a paradigm inevitably will cycle around, and they eventually will be imprisoning and killing us wholesale in return. Personally, I always have felt that Ronald Reagan compromised much too much and actually inadvertently gave birth to much of today’s messes. He granted the mass amnesty to illegal aliens that broke the system. Sent weapons illegally to bad guys in order to free our hostages. Wrongly condemned Israel for blowing up Saddam Hussein’s nuclear reactor. Appointed Sandra Day O’Connor and Anthony Kennedy to the Supreme Court. Lots of other wrong stuff. But I was always thrilled to vote for him because, well, he was the best our society possibly could get — my compromise — and I suspect he made many of his mistakes because he believed his compromises were the best he could get. He certainly did pretty well, all in all: resurrected the economy from Carter’s death grip, planted the seeds to tear down that wall, and inspired my college generation. He explained why socialism fails and proved capitalism succeeds. Gave us Antonin Scalia. After Jimmy Carter, he made America great again. That is why he won two terms and remains to this day an icon whom the lying, deceiving, mainstream despicable media still have to speak of with respect. (READ MORE from Dov Fisher: Beyond Comprehension: Harris’s $20 Million Plus, Trump’s Cabinet, Peace of Mind) I was too young to vote when John F. Kennedy ran for president. Looking back, I wish all Democrats today were as moderate as he. In his time, by the standards of his day, he was left wing. But, looking back, he had a low-inflation strong economy. He was anti-communist. When Khrushchev tested the young liberal with the head of hair that Nikita lacked, Kennedy stared him down. JFK was ready to bring the entire world to nuclear war rather than to back down to the communists. That’s my kind of Democrat. Contrast him from an Obama and Biden who respond to the new era’s greatest world threat by sending billions to Iran. And, frankly, further looking back, I am not sure what Nixon was. He imposed wage and price controls, named horrible judges, was soft on Red China and the Soviets, and less. America was calmer back then. Sure, the political rhetoric was the same as now: Nixon casting Kennedy as an extreme leftist, Lyndon Johnson advertising that Barry Goldwater was a monster who would bring all the world to nuclear holocaust, beginning with a little girl picking a flower, and such. But compared to now, America was a better society. People could disagree and talk about it or yell about it, but then they all could go to a restaurant to celebrate a birthday or visit for a family-wide Thanksgiving or Christmas or just go to a Mel Brooks movie together and laugh about it afterward. People did not have to hide their conservative views to get hired as journalists at a newspaper. Or as social-sciences professors at even Ivy League universities. Or as prospective actors or playwrights or screenwriters on Broadway or in Hollywood. The media, academia, and entertainment were like football, baseball, and hockey: If you’re good enough, we want you. If you’re not good enough, go into another field of endeavor. Nothing personal. Trump Faces The Obama Transformation That was America before Obama. Obama poisoned America. I don’t know whether America will ever recover. Even Biden, who ran in 2020 on a promise to lower the temperature and bring us all together ultimately abused his historic opportunity to get us back to an even keel. If Harris had won, the American Journey would have been finished. Obama’s dream of cutting America down to size would have been realized — while North Korea, Red China, Russia, and Iran would be tightening their bonds as four confirmed nuclear powers ready to obliterate the West, amid Europe’s demise continuing as millions of Muslim and Arab immigrants turn one Amsterdam into another. With academia, grade-school education, Broadway and Hollywood, television and “news” media all dominated overwhelmingly by an intolerant Left, and with the Left’s claws deeply clenched next around the military, Obama’s transformative revolution reached its apex. Conservatives cannot compromise anymore for several reasons: The Left still plans to end the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court, thereby completing their dream of turning America into an autocratic one-party government like Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, and California. More to the nub: When society is somewhere in the middle, albeit tilted slightly in one direction or the other, then shifting sands can allow moderate compromise the other way when that insurgent side has its day. In a moderately liberal society, a shift to bring in a Romney or McCain would be unsatisfactory for a conservative like me, but I could live with it just as Rush Limbaugh of blessed memory ultimately leveraged his airwaves to endorse them when the alternative was Obama. The problem and challenge is that Obama poisoned American society. He indeed was transformative, and he turned America into what it never was and, so far, really is not. The system has been transformed to a left-extreme we do not recognize. As a reality check: Men are men, and women are women. What biology assigned them will define them to the grave. This goes beyond public policy outrages of biological men competing in women’s sports, government paying for imprisoned illegal alien criminals to receive gender-change surgery, and promoting woke ideology among innocent children. It goes deeper: Transgenderism is not normal. Period. Full stop. Homosexuals and lesbians should not encounter workplace discrimination, should be paid equally, and should enjoy all basic civil rights. But here, too, it must be said, just for the sake of embracing truth: Homosexuality and lesbianism are not normal. The “American experiment” does not believe in guaranteeing equal results. It believes in guaranteeing equal opportunity. It is “unAmerican” to deny equal opportunity to someone based on color, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, handicap, political views, and all else. It is equally unAmerican to guarantee equal outcome based on such factors. Merit is the foundation of Americanism. There is more that Obama drove out of kilter — criteria for citizenship, secure borders, foreign policy, crime and punishment, economic priorities, access to healthcare, and more — but the above three suffice as primary examples of how he poisoned America. Those poisonings have shifted the “middle” so far to the left that he left half the country — those in the center and right — with the conundrum that we cannot compromise if we start from a place that is extreme left. Let’s illustrate by assigning arbitrary numbers. Imagine the farthest Left is “0” and the farthest Right is “100.” That makes the center “50.” Imagine John Kennedy moved the country leftward to 43, Bill Clinton to 40, Nixon and the Bushes to 53, Ford to 56, and Reagan to 58. From all those starting points, a cyclical change in the White House and Congress could allow some change and compromise/transition to the other side of 50. But Obama shifted the scale from 54 or so over to 20, even 15. Transgender this. Billions to Iran that. Spread the wealth to Joe the Plumber, who did not ask for it. Lose your doctor, and lose your health plan. Criticize police and border control professionals. Transform America. Obama tilted the scale so severely that a moderate McCain or Romney option has to be off the table. Reasonable conservatives willing to compromise face the unfortunate reality that the only way to get back to 50 is by discarding a “compromise mindset” and sliding to the other extreme. It is in that context that President Trump’s more outlier proposed cabinet nominations can be understood. The Trump Appointees Some are simple to embrace: Rubio at State, Bergum at Interior, Stefanik at the U.N., Huckabee to Israel, and most of the others. But the ones that raise eyebrows can best be understood in the context of what Obama ruined, just as a deathly ill person may be prescribed severely strong medicines that can be quite perilous if not monitored carefully. It is what it is. The country is on life support. Tylenol and Advil won’t save the border. (READ MORE: $1 Billion Raised, $20 Million in Debt, $1 Million for Oprah’s Endorsement) Obama and Biden perpetrated grave damage to America’s military and national security, focusing more on DEI and critical race theory than on building a muscular military. It may well be that the “safe” option of a politic long-time multi-starred general, who rose through the ranks partly because he or she knew how to “play the game,” is not right at this time for Secretary of Defense. Utter shake-up is required. I have just read Pete Hegseth’s new book, The War on Warriors. I get why he was named. I am not comfortable with the Tulsi Gabbard nomination. For space reasons, I will leave it at that. As for Attorney-General, these also are not reasonable times. Obama politicized the Department of Justice. Eric Holder? He not only plays dirty but comfortably advocates “kicking” his opponents. Kick them? Or Loretta Lynch? Amid the Hillary Clinton email investigation, Lynch met privately with the target’s husband, Bill, to strategize and coordinate on that infamous Arizona tarmac. So much corruption. And then four years of Merrick Garland. Agents planted in Catholic houses of worship? All the dubious lawfare aimed at Trump while Trump associates were targeted for shame, humiliation, persecution, and prosecution? The way they had CNN on the scene with bulbs flashing and cameras rolling in the middle of the night as they “perp walked” Roger Stone and then later locked up Peter Navarro? Who is even capable of cleaning that muck? Trump first tried Jeff Sessions, a brilliant state attorney-general who completely backed the MAGA agenda and was the first U.S. Senator to endorse Trump. And Sessions got swallowed up. Then Trump proceeded to an all-pro right-wing, even more brilliant and life-tested and Washington-experienced guy, Bill Barr. Barr actually was pretty good — for normal times — but not suited for a role amid the era of Obama toxicity and Pelosi conspiracy. May Pam Bondi be strong enough for what needs to be done. And as for RFK, Jr. — it’s so off the wall that it never would fly in any other plane of consciousness. But as long as Trump’s people keep an eye on him, who is to know? Was Kathleen Sebelius such a wonder? She couldn’t even get the website running without crashing. At least, between RFK, Jr. and Elon Musk, someone there will be able to get the HHS website going. A society on the brink of sepsis demands strong medication that poses its own toxicity. There is no alternative. There’s an extinction level event on the horizon, and I don’t mean asteroid Apophis. It’s going to miss the Earth in mid-April, but it’s flyby is going to be close enough to remind us that there are things in the universe far more dangerous than anything we can concoct. Regardless of whether the affliction is genetic or conditioned, America is going to benefit from their reproductive abstinence. Nope, we can see a different type of extinction event approaching. We’re witnessing the beginning stages of an ideological mass casualty event among those of the radical political left. Female (and I do mean of the XX variety) Kamala Harris voters are shaving their heads, and posting videos vowing to abstain from sex (said videos provided with a healthy dose of profanity and elevated decibels). It seems the “right to choose” ladies just realized they have a right to choose not to get pregnant in the first place. Planned Parenthood is also finding out that abortion isn’t the only way to avoid parenthood. They’re reporting a dramatic spike in pregnancy avoidance since Donald Trump’s election. Their “reproductive healthcare” baby termination mills are seeing a 600 percent increase in requests for contraceptives. They’re also reporting a whopping 1,200 percent increase in vasectomies, because the guys are getting in on this too. Clearly the radicals have decided that if America isn’t going to embrace their idea of utopia, they’re not going to contribute to the ongoing survival of the species. They are exercising their right to choose, and choosing not to add any new radicals to the population. To be clear, these people are lunatics. I don’t mean that in the “crazy uncle who thinks the moon landing was faked” kinda of way. I mean it in the certifiable “tenuous grip on reality” kinda way. These are the people that think that male/female is an elective choice, that burning coal to charge electric cars is a swell way to save the planet from fossil fuels, and that Whoopi Goldberg is the voice of reason. I would prefer to counsel such people back to reality, but any attempt at dialog instantly triggers Godwin’s Law. They stick their fingers in their ears, close their eyes, and scream “Hitler” at the top of their lungs. Clearly, cognitive therapy is not a viable corrective for what ails them. Given that the radicals are resistant to counseling, I’m okay with their choice to self-quarantine from the gene pool. I acknowledge that there is no scientific evidence that their affliction is hereditary. But if it’s not genetic, it has to be learned. I’d prefer insanity not be learned by another generation of their offspring. Regardless of whether the affliction is genetic or conditioned, America is going to benefit from their reproductive abstinence. The reaction of the left to our recent election is proof that the political movement which spawned MAGA, is ascendant. Where debates are happening, they’re being won by the normals. Where debate is shunned, the radicals are choosing extinction.
