Daily Wire host Matt Walsh defended podcast giant Joe Rogan on Friday after reports claiming Rogan endorsed independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. led to some on the Right blasting him for not backing Donald Trump. Rogan pushed back on the reports on Friday, but not before multiple highly followed Right-wing social media users slammed the comedian. Walsh responded to the backlash from some conservatives to reports of Rogan endorsing Kennedy, saying those “disowning him today for saying nice things about RFK Jr are acting foolishly at best.” Walsh has been a guest on Rogan’s show, which remains the top podcast in the world on Spotify. “Joe Rogan is one of the most powerful cultural forces in America and he is, at a minimum, very friendly to conservatives. He has repeatedly used his massive platform to amplify right wing voices that would not be able to find that kind of audience anywhere else. He is a tremendous net good for the culture and for the conservative movement, even if he doesn’t consider himself to be a part of the movement,” Walsh wrote on X. These specific people have no idea how to build and maintain an actual movement. No idea who the real power players are. No idea how to wield influence. They just tweet Republican Boomerbait all day long, non stop, and then turn and try (unsuccessfully, most of the time) to destroy anyone who actually moves the needle.” During Rogan’s show on Thursday, the UFC commentator talked about his appreciation for Kennedy, which some on social media and multiple news outlets stretched into him endorsing Kennedy over Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Rogan said Kennedy is different from politicians on the Right and the Left who “gaslight,” “manipulate,” and “promote narratives.” “The only one who’s not doing that is Robert F. Kennedy Jr,” Rogan said. “I am a fan [of Kennedy]. He’s the only one that makes sense to me. He doesn’t attack people. He attacks actions and ideas. He’s much more reasonable and intelligent.” In a post on X on Friday, Rogan wrote, “For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFK jr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world. A passenger plane carrying 62 people crashed in Brazil on Friday, according to reports and videos that circulated online. The two-engine ATR 72 model aircraft operated by Brazilian airline VoePass was traveling from Cascavel to Guarulhos Airport when it crashed in a residential area of Brazil’s Sao Paulo state. The airline said in a statement that there were 58 passengers on board and four crew members. Footage was captured of the moment that the plane fell to the ground and erupted in a fireball. An extremely lucky Yukon woman recently survived a bear attack thanks to her trusty canine companion and an unexpected self-defense accessory. APTN tells us that Vanessa Chaput was running with her dog, Luna, on June 30 when the harrowing incident occurred. Three grizzly bears appeared in her path, dangerously close to the woman and her pooch. Unfortunately, it was already too late for her to try and distance herself from the animals. Immediately, Luna jumped into action. This protective pooch managed to escape her leash and scared off two of the three creatures. Unfortunately, that left the third bear free to attack the Yukon woman. However, unbeknownst to Vanessa, she still had one weapon left in her arsenal. Who knew a hair clip could be such a life-saver? Screengrab from YouTube “When the bear had taken me down with my head in its mouth, my first thought was just kind of protect your vitals, so I went straight into the fetal position,” she recalled. At the time, Vanessa was wearing a large, plastic claw clip in her hair. When this item broke inside the bear’s mouth, it startled the creature. This gave the woman an opportunity to escape. Although she wasn’t able to get far, Luna came to the rescue before the bear had another chance to attack the Yukon resident. “If it wasn’t for my dog barking, the bear was going to come finish the job,” Vanessa said. Even now, the woman is still recovering from the attack. Her injuries were serious enough that she had to remain in the hospital for at least two weeks. “I have puncture wounds all up in my arm,” she explained. “I have a broken bone. I have a lot of nerve damage in that area and then my tricep was torn in two places.” Screengrab from YouTube Still, Vanessa said that she bears no ill will toward the Yukon bears who attacked her. This Kaska woman (a First Nations people in the area) is no stranger to these creatures, especially because of her upbringing. “I have a really good respect for them,” the survivor said. “Just because growing up with my dad and everything. When you go hunting you’re in bear country, things are going to happen. And we have run into bears in the past.” According to CTV News, three bears suspected of being involved in the attack on the Yukon resident were later euthanized. A strange incident took place in La Serena, Chile in the summer of 1987. Everything points to this incident having been silenced by the witnesses despite the strangeness of the observation.Carlos Manuel Arancibia Esquivel was the witness who told the story to friends and relatives on many occasions. The experience haunted him to the end of his days.It all began when Carlos Manuel went to pick up his mother at her place of work. It was during the summer months and the time was around 23:00 hours. As he went by Plaza Buenos Aires, always busy, he noticed that several drivers and passengers of the Linea de Transportes Colectivos No.14 (La Serena-Las Compañías) were looking at a tall street lamp. To his amazement, he noticed they were staring at a large bird with massive wings and oddly humanoid features. The strange winged being was resting on a power line, and at a given moment, it issued a loud squawk that spread panic among the witnesses, causing many of them to hurriedly abandon the area.The witness tried to assimilate this event by avoiding any discussion of it over the years. The investigator's search led him to find some old bus drivers who were present the night the event occurred. When questioned, they did not deny that it had indeed occurred but flatly refused to provide background information or details when asked for more information.This isn’t the first time that an item of this sort came from the La Serena region. A family was returning home along a dirt road at midnight. Suddenly, they saw a black shadow descending from the sky some two hundred meters ahead of them. The shadow landed gently on the dirt road the family was traversing. At first, they thought it was a plastic trash bag carried by the prevailing winds at the time. We can imagine their surprise when the shadow flew off as they approached, to the sound of loud beating wings. The family members managed to see a sort of giant bird with humanoid features in silent flight.
