Biden campaign gets caught trying to silence voters from speaking their truth about Biden: 'I'm going to cut you off there'

The Biden campaign is accused of running direct interference to stop voters critical of President Joe Biden from speaking with the media. One day after Biden's disastrous debate performance, New York Times reporter Simon Levien tried to speak with voters at a Biden campaign rally in Nevada. Vice President Kamala Harris was the headline speaker. 'I watched staffers do the same thing to other reporters. Appeared to make at least one of my interviewees nervous.' But as Levien canvassed the area and spoke with voters, something spooky happened: A Biden campaign staffer followed him around and blocked him from speaking with certain voters. "As I spoke to voters at a Las Vegas rally for Vice President Harris, a Nevada Biden campaign staffer followed me and twice asked that voters end their interviews when their comments turned critical of President Biden," Levien reported. In the first incident, Democratic voter Amy Nelson was telling Levien that she believes there are better Democratic candidates to run against Donald Trump when the Democratic Party staffer interrupted the interview. "You can't tell me that there's not anyone better —" Nelson said. "We're at a Joe Biden event, so I'm going to cut you off there, sorry," the staffer interjected. That campaign staffer, Levien revealed in a pool report, was Clio Calvo-Platero, the deputy communications director for Biden's campaign operations in Nevada. In the second incident, Levien tried to speak with an undecided voter, Stephen Stubbs. According to Levien, Stubbs was criticizing Biden's "mental acuity" while advocating for Biden to drop out of the race when Calvo-Platero, once again, stopped the interview. "Who's running the country?" Stubbs told Levien. "Let Kamala in!" "I'm going to stop it here, sorry, if I can. It's a Biden event. Is that OK?" Calvo-Platero interjected. Levien later reported that he asked Calvo-Platero why she interfered with his job as a reporter. According to Levien, Calvo-Platero replied that "she was just doing her job." Unfortunately, Levien was not the only reporter who experienced this odd behavior from the Biden campaign. Taylor Avery, a reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, explained that a campaign staffer repeatedly cut off her interviews and intimidated voters from speaking freely. "This also happened to me," Avery said. "A staffer tried not once but twice to cut off my interview with a voter who said they thought Biden should step down. They then ushered me and the voter inside because 'the VP is almost here' but the VP did not show up for another 30 minutes." "Additionally, I had a staffer follow me and record at least three of my interviews. I watched staffers do the same thing to other reporters. Liberals, progressives, and the far left voiced their outrage after the Supreme Court finally handed down its decision in the immunity case relating to former President Donald Trump.In a 6-3 decision, with Chief Justice John Roberts leading the majority, the Supreme Court ruled that the president has immunity for official acts but not unofficial ones. This means the issue will now go back to the district court to determine which of Trump's acts in special counsel Jack Smith's case was an official act, likely meaning it will not go to trial before the November election.“Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power entitles a former President to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority. And he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts. There is no immunity for unofficial acts,” the Supreme Court wrote.'With fear for our democracy, I dissent.'“Certain allegations — such as those involving Trump’s discussions with the Acting Attorney General — are readily categorized in light of the nature of the President’s official relationship to the office held by that individual. Other allegations — such as those involving Trump’s interactions with the Vice President, state officials, and certain private parties, and his comments to the general public — present more difficult questions,” Roberts wrote in the majority opinion.In dissent, Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote that she is concerned the ruling will allow presidents to order missions like SEAL Team 6 killing a political rival.“The President of the United States is the most powerful person in the country, and possibly the world. When he uses his official powers in any way, under the majority’s reasoning, he now will be insulated from criminal prosecution. Orders the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune. Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune. Immune, immune, immune," Sotomayor said. Trump ally Steve Bannon to report to federal prison

Steve Bannon, a powerful voice in the Make America Great Again movement and one of former President Donald Trump's staunchest allies, is scheduled to report to federal prison on Monday.Nearly two years ago, a federal jury found Bannon guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress after he refused to testify before or submit documents to the January 6 House Select Committee despite subpoenas ordering him to do so. Bannon served as chief strategist for the first several months of Trump's presidency but then abruptly left the White House in 2017 after a falling out with the president.Bannon has also kept on the political offensive and is steadfastly optimistic about the upcoming election, anticipating a 'landslide' victory for Trump.Bannon and Trump later made amends, and in the years since, Bannon, now 70, has continued to promote Trump and the MAGA movement on his Rumble program, "War Room." He has also appealed his conviction.In an interview with Jonathan Karl of ABC News over the weekend, Bannon called the J6 committee "illegitimate" and insisted that in ignoring its subpoenas, he had been only following the "advice of counsel.""I took my lawyer's advice," Bannon explained, "as everybody else in the country, if they had a high-powered lawyer, would do."Recently, members of Congress have also challenged the legitimacy of the J6 committee in the hopes of sparing Bannon a prison sentence. Last week, several high-profile House Republicans, including Speaker Mike Johnson (La.) and Rep. Steve Scalise (La.), filed an amicus brief in support of Bannon's appeal.Johnson called the J6 committee "wrongfully constituted," effectively arguing that the subpoenas issued to Bannon were therefore invalid, and for all the damage the committee has apparently caused, Scalise pointed the finger directly at former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). "House Republican Leadership continues to believe Speaker Pelosi abused her authority when organizing the Select Committee," Scalise wrote in a joint statement with House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.).Just days after the amicus brief was filed, however, SCOTUS denied Bannon's appeal to remain out of prison while the appeals process continues. Thus, Bannon must report on Monday to a low-security federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut, where he will spend the next four months.He will be released just a few days before Election Day on November 5.Despite the looming prison sentence, Bannon has projected an image of courage. On Friday's episode of "War Room," he asked supporters to pray for his persecutors and not to waste any time writing him letters of encouragement. "Do not write a letter to me at all. It will not be read. I am not going to take a second to read your letters. I'm not. Because you know why? I don't want you taking time to write a letter. I want you to get to work," he said."This is all about victory. There is no substitute for victory here. There is no substitute for victory. You know that. I know that."Even as he calls on MAGA supporters to stay focused on the election, Bannon is steadfastly optimistic about the outcome of it. In fact, he anticipates a "landslide" victory for Trump. "It's going to be 340 or 350 [electoral] votes," he told Karl.Bannon has also kept on the political offensive, calling himself "a political prisoner of Nancy Pelosi and Merrick Garland." He likewise warned several former leaders of federal agencies that, should Trump win in November, investigators would soon be coming for them. He even named names, including former FBI Director James Comey, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley, and Trump's former Attorney General Bill Barr."It's not retribution. It's justice," he explained.Royce White — a current BIG3 pro basketball player, a frequent contributor to Jason Whitlock's BlazeTV show, "Fearless," and a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Minnesota — has voiced his unwavering support for Bannon on social media. Team Fortress 2 is back, but in the worst possible way

Team Fortress 2 has recently taken some serious body blows to its reputation. Thanks to a huge influx of bots disrupting the game, its Steam review score has plummeted into the “Overwhelmingly Negative” category. Even a recent ban wave aimed at purging some of these botting accounts seems to have had little effect on the game’s poor sentiment.
