President-elect Donald Trump is throwing his support behind two candidates to replace Florida Reps. Matt Gaetz and Mike Waltz, after Gaetz resigned from Congress and Waltz was tapped to serve as Trump’s national security adviser. Trump is backing Florida’s chief financial officer Jimmy Patronis to take Gaetz’s place and endorsed state lawmaker Randy Fine to fill Waltz’s seat. The writer describes a story that his great-grandmother would talk about the time when she, as a young woman, encountered a human-like being that had bright green eyes and telepathically spoke to her.I received the following account:"My great-grandmother had a cool story that's always stuck with me. For reference this happened in the early 40s to 50s, and as recounted by my grandmother, here is the story:My great-grandmother used to work at a gas station sometime after the Second World War. She was young at the time, and this was before she met my great-grandfather. She was in her early 20s, but she may have been a teenager working to stock shelves and sell cigarettes. This was around the time that modern Child Labour laws started coming into effect, so I know for sure she was old enough to work the counter, and since cigarettes weren't ever really seen as toxic around this time, she was able to sell them.One day she had been working her usual shift when a tall man walked in, he was normal looking, wore a fedora and a tanned suit. Very formal, and very much human at first glance.  Clean-shaven with brown hair and a very normal-looking face, not chubby or heavy on the jawline, but definitely fit and relatively plain. His skin color was white but slightly tanned. He had no visible beard stubble or age marks. No freckles or moles. His hair was short, almost shaved but clearly visible.As the man approached the counter he asked simply for a pack of cigarettes in a very human-like tone. As my great-grandmother turned around with the cigarettes in hand the man looked up at her from staring down at the counter (counting out the assorted change) and locked eyes with my great-grandmother.His eyes glowed green. They weren't green in simple color, but actually glowing vibrant nuclear green. My great-grandmother began to realize he wasn't talking at all, he was talking to her in her mind, and the more they stared at each other the more he began to peer into her mind. She described it as though he was with her, watching himself through her eyes, reading her emotions, and scanning her memories. She could see herself through his eyes, drew on his intentions, and found them to be pure and whole. Compelled, she slid the cigarettes to him, he simply smiled as any normal man with emotion would, broke eye contact, and walked out the door.Naturally, my great-grandmother followed him outside, keeping him relatively close. She saw him stare back at her over his shoulder as he walked away and simply vanished. His green eyes peered back at her one final time as he just vanished into thin air. Effectively dematerializing from reality. This was before Roswell, or the notion of extraterrestrials became popular because my great-grandmother didn't ever think the man was an alien. She thought he was an Angel for the longest time.She never once felt threatened by the man, and he simply became known in the family as the man with the green eyes.Many years later, my mother experienced a slew of strange dreams involving aliens, particularly where they create hybrids between themselves and us humans to blend into society. The dreams had been consistent, but she believed they weren't able to tolerate our planet's atmosphere for some reason; so, created genetic hybrids to act as agents on Earth as we near a certain landmark in our society; thus welcoming us to the galactic community when we reach that landmark. They view us with benevolent curiosity and are part of a wider community that preserves primitive planets. These hybrids they create can act as the bridge between us when they decide to make contact with us, through them we are judged and seen. The witness shares his scary encounter with a Sasquatch as a young teen in a church camp that was located in the Cascades in Oregon. He was impressed by the booming footfalls!I received the following account:“I want to share a story. I was 14 years old in 1974 in a church camp up in the Cascades between Suttle Lake and Blue Lake. It's kind of a spacious little wilderness area. We decided to try to sneak out and steal a gallon of milk from the kitchen so we were taking this sort of roundabout way in the middle of the night.We started hearing these footfalls, breaking branches and I stopped Ken and said, "What the heck was that?" And it got louder and louder, then it just stopped. I was so scared, I was just sitting there shaking. I finally got the nerve to shine the flashlight and we noticed there was a herd of deer there too, kind of off in the distance. We shined the flashlight and this thing started screaming, a sound like I'd never heard before. Kind of like an electronic elephant kind of noise. And it took off, running up the hill. The branches breaking, screaming and these footfalls like an elephant running through the woods. I mean, I've never heard anything shake the ground like that. It's just like I remember it like it happened last week.The encounter scared me so much that the next day we both went up and checked it out and there were footprints. There wasn't any mud to see toes but there was in the bank and stuff, there were big footprints. Much bigger than mine. I tried to jump up into the air and make a footprint like that and I couldn't do it.I and some friends showed the guy that was in charge of our cabin group and he didn't know what to say. To this day, I'll never forget that. That's the Sasquatch that lives in the Cascades, I guess.I was scared. There was a lot of adrenaline. Ken said that he looked at it and he thought he saw red eyes but I didn't. I would not look. He shined the flashlight and, he was smaller than me, he laughs to this day, you know, there was this big guy behind me, like huddled over me. The sound was like something I'd never heard before or since. That's what I kept saying, that sounded like some kind of electronic noise or something. I just never heard anything like that and the footfalls are what impressed me. For something to have that much weight to distribute to sound like it was shaking the ground – Boom! Boom! And it ran up that hill in no time. I mean it took off.I think it might have been hunting the deer when we saw it and it ticked it off. It definitely knew we were there and then when we shined the flashlight."
