Dolly Parton’s Sister Stella Claims Donald Trump Is Going To Declare “Marshall Law,” Compares Trump To Hitler In Bizarre Twitter Rant
Dolly may not like talking politics, but her sister doesn't seem to mind it.
The Queen of Country Music, Dolly Parton has managed to avoid alienating fans over politics by simply not discussing it. She's turned down the Presidential Medal of Freedom from presidents of both parties to avoid the appearance of picking a side, and has said in the past that she sees both sides of the issue and wants to avoid turning off her fans by jumping into the political mud:
“Don’t get so trapped where if you’re a Republican, you got to be this way, if you’re Democrat, you got to be that way. You’re not allowed to think nothing else.
Well, how crippling is that? I’ve got as many Democrats as I do Republicans as fans, and I’m not going to insult any of them because I care about all of them.
I ain’t that good a Christian to think that I am so good that I can judge people. That’s God’s job, not mine. So as far as politics, I hate politics. Hate politics.”
Her sister, though, hasn't been shy about where she stands.
Stella Parton, the younger sister of Dolly, has been outspoken about her hatred for President Donald Trump, and often criticizes the former/future president over on Twitter. But one of her recent rants has people scratching their heads.
In a post last night, Stella claimed that Trump would be declaring "Marshall law" and questioned what President Joe Biden was doing to prepare ahead of the inauguration on January 20. (She later acknowledged that she meant "martial law" after being corrected many times in the replies).
"Is anyone else concerned about the incoming administration declaring Marshall Law? They’ve already said they plan to do so. Why isn’t President Biden doing something before January 20th?"

She also claimed that Trump said he planned to "bring out" the military to "round up illegal immigrants," an apparent reference to Trump's promise to declare a national emergency and deploy military assets to assist with deportation efforts:
"When you bring out the Military to control the population in a country it’s called “Martial Law” and yes, Trump and his henchmen said they plan to do so to round up illegal immigrants! I saw it myself on network tv. And Trump thinks of himself as Marshall Dillon!"

Of course the military has long been used to secure the border, with the Department of Defense currently authorizing around 4,000 National Guard members to support Customs and Border Patrol. And the military has been used for border security for decades, under presidents from both political parties.
Stella Parton, though, compares Trump to Hitler, claiming that it's "documented" that the president admires the notorious dictator - claims that were echoed by the Kamala Harris campaign during the election:

Of course Parton has received a lot of backlash for her posts, but she remained defiant and accused trolls of being paid by Elon Musk to post on X (formerly Twitter).
