The ad then powerfully shows off the car’s safety features that protected his family. “Designed to be the safest Volvo car ever made,” the ad says. “For life.” The ad was released in September, but resurfaced on social media this week. But one appointment in particular is catching a lot of heat and has many scratching their heads wondering how she made it onto the short list, much less got the nod from Trump for the position. But many are calling for him to reconsider this latest nomination for her past comments on a few things near and dear to most Trump supporters. A new Covid-19 vaccine is being developed by Texas scientists using a decades-old conventional method that will make the production and distribution cheaper and more accessible for countries most affected by the pandemic and where new variants are likely to originate due to low inoculation rates. The team, led by Drs Peter Hotez and Maria Bottazzi from the Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development at Baylor College of Medicine, has been developing vaccine prototypes for Sars and Mers since 2011, which they reconstructed to create the new Covid vaccine, dubbed Corbevax, or “the world’s Covid-19 vaccine”. Although more than 60 other vaccines are in development using the same technology, Bottazzi said their vaccine is unique because they do not intend to patent it, allowing anyone with the capacity to reproduce it. As stated, Dr. Nesheiwat eventually changed her mind on the CDC’s overall handling of Covid. President Trump didn’t win the election because of some pet issue or a single soundbite that could be boiled down to a single aspect of American governance. He won based on a wholesale return to FREEDOM over CONTROL.  And most of us are rightfully balking at this pick for Surgeon General because Dr. Nesheiwat is far too questionable on that issue. On Friday, Trump shared a statement dubbing Nesheiwat “the Nation’s Doctor,” and praised her for being, “a fierce advocate and strong communicator for preventative medicine and public health.” “She is committed to ensuring that Americans have access to affordable, quality healthcare, and believe in empowering individuals to take charge of their health to live longer, healthier lives,” Trump wrote, adding she will “play a pivotal role in making America healthy again!” Here’s the full announcement issued by President Trump on Truth Social about Dr. Nesheiwat’s nomination. Notwithstanding President Trump’s assurances, many who lived through the dystopian era of Covid restrictions and censorship are calling for a rethinking of this latest appointment. Dr. Janette Nesheiwat praised Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg for censoring individuals who questioned vaccines and expressed hope that other social media platforms would do the same. She also endorsed COVID vaccines as “safe and effective,” supported vaccinating children, and advocated for masking and social distancing. Watch out for influencers and politicians who are “yes-men” to this pick, as they are more interested in milking the benefits of the MAGA movement than in doing and saying what is right. If you want President Trump to succeed, you should discourage him from appointing anyone like Fauci to his cabinet again. As someone who lost several family members to the vaccines (not COVID, but the effects of the so-called vaccines), I count myself among those who are disgusted by the nomination of Dr. Nesheiwat for any position in President Trump’s administration — much less a health related position. We have lived this nightmare long enough to have learned the lessons solidly.  And yes, I will grant a certain amount of grace to those who went through a learning process as we learned more about the thing we were facing. But there is a difference between figuring out the science, and figuring out liberty. I, for one, will never tolerate the attack on American liberty that we watched happen during those days — ever again. I agree with those calling for a complete rethink of President Trump’s current pick for the U.S. Surgeon General.  There is no place in American governance for anyone who so willingly tosses personal liberty aside for some imagined greater “safety”. That is what makes America different from everywhere else on earth.  We don’t FORCE people to live in a way that fits our mold for how we think is best; we afford EVERY INDIVIDUAL that most precious thing — freedom — to live as they choose. That is truly, admittedly, a dangerous stance to take.  And only those who grasp the true riches of freedom could ever reason out how that DANGEROUS STANCE could possibly be worth any danger… much less EVERY danger. If there is one thing the founding fathers attempted to iterate, it was that truth. Let’s leave that dark period of America behind; not by forgetting the lessons we should have learned, but by firmly guarding ourselves from the danger of allowing individuals who would subject Americans to that level of oppression from ever gaining positions of import in this great country again. There are myriads of liberty-minded health professionals out there who would gladly — and adeptly — handle the responsibilities of the top public health position in America. But Dr. Janette Nesheiwat is not one of them.

President Trump had previously banned transgender wokeism in the military under his first administration, though he didn’t take it as far as to kick existing “transgenders” out of the military, but only to prevent new ones from joining. When Biden took office, he reversed this ban. The Independent explained: Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order that would remove transgender service members from the military as soon as his first day in office. The president-elect is reportedly preparing to issue an order following his inauguration on January 20 that would effectively ban trans people serving in the military — and then medically discharge the thousands of currently serving trans service members in the armed forces. In his first term in office, Trump declared that the US would no longer “accept or allow” trans people in the military, citing “tremendous medical costs and disruption,” he wrote in 2017. The ban took effect in 2019. President Joe Biden reversed that policy, which was the subject of several lawsuits. Now, Trump is expected to immediately rescind Biden’s order and go further by ejecting currently-serving trans troops, according to The Times, citing sources familiar with the president-elect’s plans. The executive action is among a stack of orders the president-elect is planning to issue as soon as he re-enters the White House, including sweeping actions on immigration, all of which are expected to draw significant legal battles. The Times also reported: Donald Trump is planning an executive order that would lead to the removal of all transgender members of the US military, defence sources say. The order could come on his first day back in the White House, January 20. There are believed to be about 15,000 active service personnel who are transgender. They would be medically discharged, which would determine that they were unfit to serve. It would also lead to a ban on trans people joining the military and would come at a time when almost all branches of the American armed forces are failing to meet recruitment targets. Trump, 78, has railed against “woke” practices in the military, saying that some high-ranking officers are often more interested in diversity, equity and inclusion than planning to fight. The ban is expected to be wider ranging than a similar order made during his first term in office, when Trump prevented transgender people joining the armed forces, but allowed those already serving to keep their jobs. President Biden rescinded the order, but this time even those with decades of service will be removed from their posts, according to several sources. “These people will be forced out at a time when the military can’t recruit enough people,” a source familiar with Trump’s plans said. “Only the Marine Corps is hitting its numbers for recruitment and some people who will be affected are in very senior positions.”
