These are the passwords you definitely shouldn’t be using

Cath Virginia / The Verge | Photo from Getty Images The password manager NordPass has once again released its annual list of the world’s most popular passwords — and the lack of creativity is just a little disheartening. For the second year in a row, “123456” has been crowned the most common password. The same numbers topped the chart five out of the six times NordPass has compiled its lists, only to be usurped by the famed “password” in 2022. But once you get past all the QWERTYs, ABCs, and 123s, we get a little insight into what humanity thinks about when creating the line of text that protects their most personal information. Image: NordPass There are those who choose “iloveyou” and those who opt for “fuckyou.” Others have distinct interests, like “pokemon,”... Continue reading…

Crock Pot Cheesy Ham and Corn Chowder

Crock Pot Cheesy Ham and Corn Chowder is rich and creamy with chunks of potato. It’s a hearty soup perfect for winter and is a great way to use up leftover ham. The creaminess in this recipe comes from milk and sour cream and there’s lots of cheddar cheese added for plenty of cheese flavor. How To Make To make Crock Pot Cheesy Ham and Corn Chowder, chopped ham, corn, potatoes, garlic, and seasonings get added to the crock pot along with chicken broth. A 6-quart or larger crock pot is best. Want to save this recipe?Just enter your email and get it sent to your inbox! The slow cooker does all the work and wonderfully melds the flavors together. Next, milk mixed with a little cornstarch for thickening gets mixed in and cooked for 30 minutes. Finally, sour cream and cheddar cheese get stirred in just before serving. Leftover Ham This Crock Pot Cheesy Ham and Corn Chowder is a great way to use up leftover Christmas or Easter ham. If you don’t have leftover ham, a few slices of boneless ham steak work well. You can find them in the fresh meat section of the grocery sotre. How Long To Cook Cooking times for different slow cookers can vary greatly so use the cooking time as an estimate. You really just need to cook it long enough for the potatoes to get soft which tends to take much longer than you would think it would. Eight hours on LOW should be enough time. Then you will need to cook it for 30 minutes on HIGH once the cornstarch is added so that it will thicken up. Recipe Tip Between the chicken broth, ham, and cheese, there should be enough salt, but check for seasoning at the end and add salt if desired. Storage Leftovers will keep for 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in microwave or on the stovetop. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and milk until smooth. Stir into soup.Cover and Cook on HIGH for 30 minutes.Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.Stir in sour cream. Sprinkle parsley on top. NotesPlace the potatoes in the slow cooker first. You want them to be completely submerged so that they do not turn brown. If you want it to be spicy, add a little cayenne pepper. I recommend buying a block of cheddar cheese and shredding it rather than using pre-shredded cheese. ‘Full House’ Star Dave Coulier Announces Stage 3 Cancer Diagnosis

65-year-old actor Dave Coulier has announced that he was diagnosed with cancer. Specifically, he was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Coulier made the announcement in an episode of his podcast Full House Rewind and elaborated in an interview with People that was published on Wednesday. Active in the entertainment industry since 1979, Coulier rose to prominence as a stand-up comedian, impressionist, and as a star in the ensemble cast of Full House. Decades later, he reprised his role as Joey Gladstone in the Netflix sequel series, Fuller House, and has since kept ’90s nostalgia fans engaged through his rewatch podcast, which he began hosting last year. Dave Coulier reveals his stage 3 cancer diagnosis Dave Coulier shares his cancer diagnosis / ImageCollect Speaking with People, Coulier shared that he was officially diagnosed with cancer back in October. He first experienced lymph node swelling triggered by an upper respiratory infection. In fact, one area swelled so severely it reached the size of a golf ball. That’s when his doctor pushed for a biopsy, as well as PET and CT scans. “Three days later, my doctors called me back and they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it’s called B cell and it’s very aggressive,'” he further revealed. “I went from, I got a little bit of a head cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming. This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.” The path from here FULL HOUSE, Dave Coulier, (ca. 1988), 1987-95. © Lorimar Televison / Courtesy: Everett Collection There was some good news to be had: a bright spot in his bone marrow test came up negative. After receiving his cancer diagnosis, Coulier, along with his wife Melissa Bring, brainstormed with friends to tackle this sobering news “head-on.” “We all kind of put our heads together and said, ‘Okay, where are we going?'” he elaborated. “And they had a very specific plan for how they were going to treat this. At that point, my chances of curable went from something low to 90% range. And so that was a great day.” By two weeks, Coulier began chemotherapy. He appeared on his podcast episode with a shaved head, donning a hat. His presentation and his discussion during that episode were transparent, concerning his health. “I started the podcast wearing a hat, and I said, I’ve always been a man of many hats, but this hat has special significance because a couple of weeks ago, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma,” Coulier recounted. “That was really a conscious decision of, I’m going to meet this head-on, and I want people to know it’s my life. I’m not going to try and hide anything. I would rather talk about it and open the discussion and inspire people.” Dave Coulier on Fuller House / Everett Collection Next up: Jennifer Lopez Turns Heads In Sheer Halter Top Dress at the ‘Wicked’ Premiere The post ‘Full House’ Star Dave Coulier Announces Stage 3 Cancer Diagnosis appeared first on DoYouRemember? - The Home of Nostalgia.
