Autopsy of a Failed Presidential Campaign: Here's All the Ways Kamala Dropped the Ball

Know thy enemy and know yourself, and you will never lose a battle ... or something like that. However the adage from famed Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu actually goes, it generally rings true in both battle and real-life -- so it's actually worth observing all of the ways that...

Here’s Why Trump-Hating Comedian Kathy Griffin Thinks Taylor Swift Cost Kamala The Election

As President Donald Trump’s many political enemies lick their wounds following his decisive victory in last week’s election, some are already starting to point fingers at individuals on their own side of the aisle. For Kathy Griffin, the comedian who once stoked outrage by posing with a replica of Trump’s severed head, at least some of the blame for Kamala Harris’ dismal performance lies on pop superstar Taylor Swift’s shoulders. According to TheBlaze: She also said LGBT members and women would be under greater threat. “Gays you may not be safe. So, to be gay in America, much less trans, ‘cuz they’re obsessed with trans people, to be LGBT in America, is not gonna be a safe thing anymore. To be a woman in America will be less safe than it already is, so take care of each other,” Griffen said. Finally she blamed Taylor Swift for the loss. “I know this will get me in trouble. But I really really wish Taylor Swift had done an event with Vice President Harris in Pennsylvania two months ago. OK, I just had to say that because she’s so powerful, and it’s not fair that the weight of the world should be on a pop star’s shoulders,” she added. Fast forward to now and he’s the reason Trump did so well with young men for getting Trump on the podcast circuit. pic.twitter.com/WKiiwcL5cw — Kelly Campagna (@warriorwoman91) November 7, 2024 Breitbart is now reporting on how @kathygriffin is blaming @taylorswift13 for Kamala Harris’s loss. Szypula (@Bubblebathgirl) November 8, 2024 Kathy Griffin nostalgic for a return to the days when everything was normal. pic.twitter.com/wVIpVVCM54 — Politistonks (@politistonks) November 8, 2024 Of course, it wasn’t just Taylor Swift that the Democratic Party relied on to help drag the Harris campaign across the finish line last week. And according to The Hill, this celebrity-studded strategy clearly backfired in spectacular fashion: But her campaign also had a heavy dose of glitz, from Taylor Swift’s endorsement to an appearance in the closing days of the campaign by Beyoncé, whose 2016 hit “Freedom” was used as an unofficial theme song throughout Harris’s White House bid. Other celebs backing Harris included Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney, Jon Bon Jovi and Cardi B. In the end, none of that mattered. Harris lost every single swing state and saw former President Trump gain on Democrats in blue states. Washington was the only state in the union that moved toward Harris compared to the 2020 presidential contest. Trump appeared to see some of his biggest gains in California, where votes are still being counted, and in New York and New Jersey, Springsteen’s home turf. After the devastating losses, a number of Democrats said the party needs to move on from its fascination with Hollywood and A-list celebs — along with the idea that those endorsements are helping the party. “Somehow we think if Beyoncé is on stage, that will solve all our problems,” one Democratic strategist said. Here’s a clip of Griffin complaining about how her decapitation stunt cost her career opportunities: Kathy Griffin is livid she was out of work for 6 years as a result of the controversial photo of her holding a bloody fake replica of Trump’s head—blaming him for her lack of employment and claiming she’s “been through hell and back!!!” pic.twitter.com/qDWT9Xe3Mk — Julia (@Jules31415) March 29, 2024

Repeat Offender Tries Again to Deliver Chinese Conspiracy Docs to President Trump at Mar-a-Lago

Zijie Li, a 39-year-old Chinese national, was arrested again for trespassing at Mar-a-Lago. Li, who has attempted multiple times to speak with President Trump, claims he has information implicating China in a failed assassination attempt. The media wants to state that he’s crazy, but judging by the last four years it doesn’t sound like a stretch at all. In July, he told Secret Service agents he wanted to leave documents about the plot. Despite being warned in July and August, Li was spotted at the Mar-a-Lago checkpoint on July 30th, driving into traffic. He’s now facing a second trespassing charge, and his bail is set at $100,000. CHINESE CITIZEN ARRESTED ATTEMPTING TO ENTER MAR-A-LAGO Palm Beach Police Department reported taking Chinese national, Zijie Li (39), into custody after failed attempts to enter Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. The Gateway Pundit reports: A Chinese National was arrested on Thursday for trespassing at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida. Zijie Li, who is 39 years old, attempted to once again enter Mar-a-Lago in hopes to speak to President Trump. He has attempted to get into the property numerous times and is now facing a second charge for trespassing, the first one going back to July. He is being held on $100,000 bail in Palm Beach County jail. “He told a Secret Service agent that he had information suggesting China was involved in the first assassination attempt against Trump and wanted to leave documents with them,” Fox News reported of the July 19th trespass. TGP reported in early August of Li’s trespassing on Mar-a-Lago on July 30th and 31st. He had made numerous attempts to get onto the property and claimed he had documents implicating the Chinese Government in the failed July 13th plot to assassinate President Trump. Palm Beach police were called to the scene and issued a written trespassing warning to Li, instructing him not to return under threat of arrest. Despite this, Li was spotted again on July 30, just 5:30 pm, driving towards the Mar-a-Lago checkpoint on South Ocean Boulevard, obstructing traffic. #Chinese national from #California caught #trespassing onto #MaraLago again after several attempts in recent months @Telemundo51 https://t.co/ehtsozmghD pic.twitter.com/dK6fv3jnH5 — JRodriguez (@JRodzMIA) November 8, 2024 He Won’t Go Away: The Chinese national from California, Zijie Li, that was arrested this past July for attempting to trespass into Mar-a-Lago, has now been arrested again, after trespassing! Tucker Carlson Calls for Senate Showdown Due to McConnell’s Secret Election

Tucker Carlson is sounding the alarm. His post on X is urging me and you, President Donald Trump supporters, to storm our Senators’ inboxes in support of Rick Scott for Senate leader! Why? Mitch McConnell is pulling a fast one with a secret ballot showdown. He’s scheduling the vote before new Senators can get sworn in. Meanwhile, conservative voices like Dan Bongino and Rand Paul are backing Scott. As the Senate leadership drama unfolds, Trump supporters are being called to action to ensure a RINO isn’t installed. What the hell is going on in the US Senate? Hours after Donald Trump wins the most conclusive mandate in 40 years, Mitch McConnell engineers a coup against his agenda by calling early leadership elections in the senate. Two of the three candidates hate Trump and what he ran on.… — Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson) November 9, 2024 Donald Trump Jr. warned us about this back in February. RINO Senators John Thune & John Cornyn both want to replace Mitch McConnell, once he finally gets put out to pasture. Both of them also voted to send billions more to Ukraine. MAGA must do everything in our power to stop either of these two RINOs from ever becoming Senate Leader! — Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) February 13, 2024 Newsweek reports: With Republicans winning control of the U.S. Senate in this year’s election, discussions about who will replace outgoing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, have come into sharper focus. The new GOP majority will be tasked with selecting a caucus leader after being sworn in on January 3 since McConnell announced earlier this year that he will step down from his position in the new term. Florida Senator Rick Scott has renewed his push for the leadership position after Republicans flipped four seats from Democrats in this year’s election, falling short of a potential super majority. Scott, a Trump-backed candidate who was elected for a second term this week, reiterated his intent and belief that he will be the next Senate majority leader on Wednesday, telling Fox News, “I’m going to win.” “I’ve been talking to my Republican colleagues, guess what. They want change,” Scott said. “They know that Trump has a mandate, they want to be part of that mandate. They want to be treated as equals.” A report from Axios released on Friday stated that Republican President-elect Donald Trump had privately dismissed Scott as an option weeks ago, telling allies that the senator’s bid was “not serious.” A senior Trump campaign official denied the report and dismissed the anonymous sources Axios cited, saying Trump “hasn’t weighed in on the leadership race and anyone who says differently is wrong.” Some allies close to Trump see Scott as a viable option, which the senator has worked to translate into a public endorsement from Trump. Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson and Utah Senator Mike Lee have publicly backed Scott as an option and urged Trump to do the same. During a recent interview with conservative talk radio host Jesse Kelly, Johnson called Scott an “extraordinary individual, highly successful in the business world, highly successful governor of Florida” who “turned that state around” and “set [Florida Governor] Ron DeSantis up for success.” “Jesse, if you’ve got any influence with President Trump, get Trump to come out publicly to say he wants to work with someone as accomplished as Rick Scott to accomplish his agenda,” Johnson said, insisting that the Republicans “have to deliver” while in the majority. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson touted Scott on X as “the only candidate who agrees with Donald Trump” and urged people to “call your senator and demand a public endorsement of Rick Scott. Don’t let McConnell get away with it again.” Dustin Grage, Townhall columnist and self-described “Minnesota GOP Hype Man,” also backed Scott, writing on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday that while he’s “not the biggest fan of Rick Scott,” he believes he is “the best among those running” and “any pragmatic conservative would take him over [Senator John] Thune or [Senator John] Cornyn.”     Here’s John Cornyn: The arch traitor John Cornyn is being floated as the next Senate Majority Leader. This absolutely cannot be allowed to happen. All of the momentum we have gained for gun rights could hit a wall if the man who spearheaded the largest gun control bill in decades is in charge. pic.twitter.com/Rsqyjc6ire — National Association for Gun Rights (@NatlGunRights) November 8, 2024 Here’s John Thune: Senator John Thune has consistently shown that he does not support President Trump’s agenda, and his track record reflects that. The Senate deserves a majority leader who is committed to serving the will of the people, not the Uniparty. I believe that leader is @SenRickScott! pic.twitter.com/dpEYzQSrin — Rep. Obama Is ‘Nervous About His Legacy’ After Trump Victory, Biographer Says

Barack Obama is “nervous about his legacy” after President-elect Donald Trump’s historic victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, the former president’s biographer said. “He has been and remains extremely concerned and nervous about his historical legacy,” said David Garrow, who wrote the 2017 biography, “Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama.” “That has certainly taken a big hit with Trump once again triumphing.” “The conclusion for Democrats is that they’ve got to dispense with these people from the past, including Hillary Clinton too, and move to a new generation of figures who are not in the AOC club at all,” Garrow added. Garrow cited Obama and his wife, Michelle, lecturing voters as they campaigned for Vice President Kamala Harris, telling The Daily Mail, “People do not want to be talked down to, no matter who they are. … I thought it was tone-deaf and clueless for them to preach as they did. … I would expect that perception will be shared by lots of people. If so, I think it reduces their relevance to Bill Clinton territory.” “Even before last night, I was of the quite strong belief that the tone and condescension with which both Barack and Michelle spoke, particularly towards black men, was self-defeating to the point of backfire,” Garrow posited. On October 11, at a local Harris campaign office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Obama criticized black men for not displaying the same “energy and turnout” for Harris they showed when he ran. “You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses,” Obama said. “I’ve got a problem with that, because part of it makes me think — I’m speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.” Some black men took offense to Obama’s remarks. During an October rally in Kalamazoo, Michelle Obama made similar remarks about men in general, saying she did not “expect any man to fully grasp how vulnerable” the election makes women feel. “So fellas, before you cast your votes, ask yourself, what side of history do you want to be on? Now I recognize that there are a lot of angry disillusioned people out there upset with the slow pace of change,” Michelle Obama said. “So are you as men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and children you love and tell them that you supported this assault on our safety?” “Certainly at the margins, I think they both harmed her,” Garrow said of the Obamas’ effect on Harris’s chances. “He still has the celebrity factor of being an ex-president,” Garrow insisted, adding that he surmised the Obamas would “continue to hang out with celebrities and live on Martha’s Vineyard.” Still, Garrow predicts Trump’s victory will change some things for the Obamas. “I certainly expect them to be spending less time in Washington after early January,” he said.

New British Conservative Party Head Blasts Labour Party For Helping Kamala

Kemi Badenoch, the new leader of the Conservative Party in Great Britain, ripped into the ruling Labour Party Wednesday for sending representatives to aid Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed presidential effort. Badenoch, who was named the leader of her party just three days before the U.S. presidential election, took Prime Minister Keir Starmer to task during Prime Minister’s Questions, a weekly session where the PM faces inquiries from Parliament. Badenoch was referencing Labour Party operations head Sofia Patel’s announcement that the party would help the Harris campaign. “I have nearly 100 Labour party staff (current and former) going to the US in the next few weeks heading to North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia. I have 10 spots available for anyone available to head to the battleground state of North Carolina — we will sort your housing.” “Yet another reason to vote for President Trump,” Senator Tom Cotton (R-AK) said at the time. Yet another reason to vote for President Trump. https://t.co/HA4Beade4T — Tom Cotton (@TomCottonAR) October 17, 2024 “I’m very sure that President Trump will soon be calling to thank him for sending all of those North London Labour activists to campaign for his opponent,” Badenoch said. Kemi Badenoch challenges Keir Starmer on Donald Trump in first PMQs pic.twitter.com/kwrg0uuXv2 — Daily Mail Online (@MailOnline) November 7, 2024   Badenoch began by asking Starmer of Foreign Secretary David Lammy would apologize for remarks he made about Trump in 2018, while serving as a parliamentary representative for Tottenham in North London. “On Friday, a 19-foot a ‘Trump Baby’ balloon is set to float over the Houses of parliament in London, as President Donald Trump makes his first official visit to the United Kingdom. I will be one of tens of thousands on the streets, protesting against our government’s capitulation to this tyrant in a toupee,” Lammy wrote in TIME magazine in 2018.  “Trump is not only a woman-hating, neo-Nazi-sympathizing sociopath. He is also a profound threat to the international order that has been the foundation of Western progress for so long.” “As leader of his Majesty’s opposition, I have been taking a different approach to the last opposition by being a constructive opposition,” Badenoch said Wednesday. “And so I would like to start by congratulating President-Elect Trump on his impressive victory this morning. The Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary met him in September. Did the Foreign Secretary take the opportunity to apologize for making derogatory and scatological references including, and I quote, ‘Trump is not only a woman-hating neo-Nazi-sympathizing sociopath, he is also a profound threat to international order.’ And if he did not apologize, will the Prime Minister do so now on his behalf?” “The Foreign Secretary and I did meet President-elect Trump just a few weeks ago for dinner about a couple of hours; we discussed a number of issues of global significance; it was a very constructive exercise,” Starmer answered. “Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister did not distance himself from the remarks made by the Foreign Secretary, Badenoch said..   Yet another reason to vote for President Trump. https://t.co/HA4Beade4T — Tom Cotton (@TomCottonAR) October 17, 2024
