Could Ron Paul Have Role In Future Trump Administration?

Elon Musk said he would love to have former Congressman Ron Paul involved in a potential Department of Government Efficiency in a future Trump administration. “Would be great to have Ron Paul as part of the Department of Government Efficiency!” Musk said. I'd be happy to talk with you about it, Elon. https://t.co/tjG6O5CpIj — Ron Paul (@RonPaul) November 1, 2024 From The Post Millennial: Former Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) who ran twice for the Republican presidential nomination and once as a Libertarian said Thursday that he applauds Elon Musk’s likely involvement in a potential administration of President Donald Trump as a government efficiency commissioner and would freely offer his advice. Paul said in an interview with podcaster David Gornoski that he would welcome any opportunity to advise Musk on economic policy. When asked if he would consider advising Musk on wasteful spending, Paul said, “Well I would … Everybody would know what I believe and there’d be no secrets, but I wouldn’t want an official position, you know, because I’ve sort of steered away from getting too involved in the politics of it all right now.” Paul said he views his role now as one of educating the public about the dangers of unhindered government growth. “I always say young people that were in high school and college, when I was doing all the campaigning, [were] a receptive audience,” Paul said, noting that his audience was never composed of “the Chamber of Commerce people,” that he used to refer to in a negative way because they are “the ones that have been lobbying in Congress for more money for the cities.” “You know, a position is easy to have and to hold. But the truth is, you know, what if I did get in this position and all I had to do is sign a piece of paper and the Federal Reserve was eliminated, or you cut the budget by $2 trillion well, what the consequence would be is total chaos and probably civil war and all that,” Paul said. Four Days To Go: Democrat Desperation!

Democrats are now becoming desperate and they are trotting out their last line of defense: Celebrities. Yes, it’s celebrity time. Now, it’s always bewildered me that Democrats believe celebrities are really going to move the needle in a major way in favor of their party. It has never worked in my lifetime. Barack Obama didn’t need celebrities, he was a celebrity. Hillary Clinton tried using celebrities and failed. Joe Biden really didn’t have much by the way of celebrity endorsements because his entire campaign was run from his basement. Well, now Kamala Harris is calling on all of her Hollywood friends to cut endorsements for her. Members of “The Avengers” cast decided to cut a commercial that is indeed the weirdest commercial ever. They literally end it by shouting “Down with democracy” as they say that Kamala Harris should be the president: ‘AVENGERS’ stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Danai Gurira, Don Cheadle and Paul Bettany have reunited to make a video endorsing Kamala Harris’ campaign for President. pic.twitter.com/Erh31rowps — DiscussingFilm (@DiscussingFilm) October 31, 2024 Are you going to vote based on that? Are you going to listen to Mark “I hate Jews” Ruffalo? Those are the people who are going out with? All right. Jennifer Lopez was also out campaigning. She apparently was incredibly offended, as a Puerto Rican woman, by Tony Hinchcliffe. Here she was at a rally for Kamala Harris: Jennifer Lopez: I am Puerto Rican and yes I was born here, and we are Americans. I am a mother. I am a sister. I am an actress and I like Hollywood endings and I like it when the good guy, or in this case the good girl wins. And with an understanding of our past, and our faith in… pic.twitter.com/0Elnsy1jIG — Acyn (@Acyn) November 1, 2024 So, when I have questions about character, the first person I go to is the woman who dated Diddy. Her judgment on humans is stellar. Jimmy Kimmel, by the way, is now so excited for Kamala Harris that he is actually violating the law. Here he was the other night doing just that: When I made an election joke, the Deep State used it as a pretext to conduct a fishing expedition against me, subpoenaing all financial records, leases, employment information and pay stubs, and email accounts. Will Jimmy Kimmel enjoy the same? https://t.co/uAMI9saL2i — Douglass Mackey (@DougMackeyCase) October 31, 2024   So, yes, that’s a joke. The problem is, the Department of Justice actually prosecuted a man named Douglass Mackey back in October of 2023 for this exact same joke. Mackey had about 58,000 Twitter followers when he tweeted out and texted some information suggesting that black voters should show up late for the election. They prosecuted him and he went to jail. Jimmy Kimmel, however, can apparently do it with no problem at all. WATCH: The Ben Shapiro Show But the desperation is setting in for the Democratic Party. They’re looking for a closing argument. Their latest attempt comes courtesy of President Trump himself. President Trump was out on the campaign trail with Tucker Carlson last night in Glendale, Arizona, and he started talking about Liz Cheney. Here is what he had to say: ?To every FAKE NEWS reporter taking President Trump’s words out of context: President Trump was CLEARLY explaining that warmongers like Liz Cheney are very quick to start wars and send other Americans to fight them, rather than go into combat themselves.pic.twitter.com/UlHvKszEIY — Karoline Leavitt (@kleavittnh) November 1, 2024   I actually don’t like the Chicken Hawk argument. It was crap when it was trotted out against George W. Bush and all of his supporters back in the 2000s and I think it’s crap now. I don’t think congressmen are sitting there thinking, “Well, it’s not me, so I’m just going to send troops.” The reality is, there are wide differences of opinion about foreign policy among people who have served in the military and people who have not served in the military. So, I don’t like the Chicken Hawk argument because it’s specious, empty, and foolish. But that is not the rip on Trump. What they are ripping Trump for is the part where he said, “Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her…” They’re claiming he wants her assassinated. I’m sorry, but that’s just not true. It’s not real. Trump is not calling for the killing of Liz Cheney. He’s clearly making the exact same argument the entire Left made about the entire Right during the period 2002 to 2008 in which they said, “You guys are really sanguine about sending troops into harm’s way, but very few of you have served in the military and it would be totally different if you were on the front lines with barrels trained at you.” Liz Cheney then put out a statement saying: This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten those who speak against them with death. We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant. Listen, it’s not my fault you can’t speak English or that you’re being radically dishonest by taking President Trump out of context. Then, this was the literal headline today over at Drudge: TRUMP CALLS FOR CHENEY’S EXECUTION WANTS MILITARY TRIBUNAL ARIZONA AG INVESTIGATES! HARRIS CONDEMNS HIS VIOLENT RHETORIC That’s not remotely true. And then there was this one from the Daily Express: Trump says Liz Cheney should be ‘shot in the face’ by nine guns in sickening fantasy. Donald Trump has caused controversy by suggesting Liz Cheney should have “guns trained on her face” in an alarming firing squad fantasy. Not a fact. That’s not remotely what he said. This is the stupidest game — and they’re now playing this game full-time. They’re finding things that Trump says that are actually unobjectionable on their face. You can disagree with the argument, but the actual language is being skewed and twisted in order to achieve something that Trump never said. * * * MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+

Women Planning To Vote For Kamala May Not Be Thinking Clearly

As I told you many months ago, this presidential election is a face-off between men and women. Donald Trump has an 8% lead with male voters because men believe Trump will restore our tattered economy, and draw us out of endless wars that threaten to expand into a world-wide conflagration. Conversely, Kamala Harris has a 9% lead with female voters because women want to kill their babies and they have no capacity for reason. Now please don’t think I’m totally unsympathetic with women’s goals. We all want to kill their babies. They smell bad and they’re constantly covered with snot so you just have to walk into the same room with them and you’re in bed for the next two weeks with some unidentifiable infection that normally only occurs in herds of wild goats living in isolated sections of Turkmenistan. But I do think that the right to vote and the capacity for reason ought to be linked in some way, maybe through a constitutional amendment requiring voters to take a reasoning test or maybe just by telling all the women that the election’s on Wednesday so they show up late. Because there have been certain developments over these last several days that make me think that the people planning to vote for Kamala, whether they’re women or men aspiring to be women or even just men aspiring to be Tim Walz, are not thinking as clearly as maybe they ought to be. For instance, recently, many journalists and other Democrats have made the argument that Donald Trump is a Nazi because he held a rally at New York’s famous Madison Square Garden and the Nazis held a rally at the Garden in 1939. Now, if you’re a man and have the capacity for reason, or you’re married to a man and got it that way, you might find yourself thinking, “Gee, that doesn’t make any sense.” I mean, whenever music played at the Garden, Trump danced around clumsily like a performing bear, so it was really more like the recent Taylor Swift concert there than the old Nazi rally. And I thought women loved Taylor Swift. But who can understand these mysterious creatures? See, men hear this nutty notion that Trump’s a Nazi because he held a rally at the Garden, and they think, “Wow, that just sounds to me like the inarticulate howl of a Democrat Dinosaur sinking into the bubbling hot tarpit of his failed policies until he vanishes beneath the black surface of his misguided ideology.” Whereas apparently, women hear it and they’re like, “Ooh, bubbling hot tar, maybe that’ll be good for my complexion and then I’ll be able to attract men who don’t care a damn for me, so I better vote for Kamala in case one of those bastards gets me pregnant and I have to kill the baby.” I’m not saying that’s word for word what they actually think, I’m just trying my best to reconstruct what’s in those pretty little heads of theirs. The complexion thing might be off, but I know the dead babies figure in there somewhere. WATCH: The Andrew Klavan Show Anyway. Here’s another thing. There was this Kamala campaign ad, telling wives to lie to their husbands about who they’re going to vote for because the voting booth is “The one place in America where women still have a right to choose.” And at first I found that ad confusing, because women have all the same rights that men have in America, and lying to your husband can only lead to unhappiness. But then I realized the ad was only confusing to me because I have the capacity for reason.  Now, one way or another, the election will soon be over. Unless it’s not, and November just goes on forever, with the women continually saying, “Trump is Hitler because he had a rally at Madison Square Garden,” and the men saying, “But sweetheart, that doesn’t make any sense,” and the women suddenly all cackling like Kamala Harris and shrieking, “Yes, because we killed the babies and now we’re in hell where women have the right to vote!”  Actually, that may just be a recurring fantasy I have. I’m not sure. Maybe it’s actually happening. * * * This excerpt is taken from the opening satirical monologue of “The Andrew Klavan Show.” Andrew Klavan is the host of “The Andrew Klavan Show” at The Daily Wire.
