Wall Street Wants Your American Dream: The Single Family Home

According to the Wall Street Journal, Wall Street is buying up residential properties. No good can come from it in my opinion. They will alter the landscape in their image. They don’t own much now, but their ownership is rapidly increasing, and their goals are to increase it considerably and rent out homes in traditional […] The post Wall Street Wants Your American Dream: The Single Family Home appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

WATCH: Yankees Fans Pry Ball From Mookie Betts’ Glove During Game 4 Of World Series

Two New York Yankees fans were ejected from Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday night after interfering with a catch made by Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts.  The incident occurred during the first inning when Betts ran toward the right-field wall to catch a foul hit by Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres. Betts caught the ball in foul territory, but then video footage showed a fan reaching over the wall and grabbing Betts’ glove. Another spectator pulled on Betts’ arm at the same time, causing the ball to pop loose. An umpire ruled that Torres was out due to fan interference. Video footage of the incident immediately began circulating on social media, prompting outraged reactions.  "Well, A for effort." Fan interference was called on this play where a Yankee fan tried to take the ball out of Mookie Betts' glove after an out. pic.twitter.com/iZ6taImncd — FOX Sports: MLB (@MLBONFOX) October 30, 2024 Former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz, now a FOX Sports broadcaster, said the fan “won’t be watching the game much longer.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ Video footage showed both fans being escorted out of the stadium. On their way out, the men exchanged high-fives with other Yankees fans, and one of them told The Athletic reporter Rustin Dodd that the fan was a “hero … it’s a championship game.”  The ejected fan was identified by ESPN as a Yankees season-ticket holder who said he had prepared for that situation in advance. “We always joke about the ball in our area,” the fan said after the game, per the outlet. “We’re not going to go out of our way to attack. If it’s in our area, we’re going to ‘D’ up. Someone defends, someone knocks the ball. We talk about it. We’re willing to do this.” Security reportedly told the two men they were not permitted to come back for Game 5 on Wednesday. Betts did not have much to say about what happened, responding to teammate Tommy Edman calling the behavior “unacceptable” by saying, “We lost, that’s what I’m focused on.”  The Yankees won Game 4 on Tuesday with a final score of 11-4. They trail the Dodgers three games to one in the best-of-seven series. The Yankees are seeking their 28th World Series title, which would be their first since 2009. The Dodgers are hoping for their first World Series ring since winning the series in 2020. The team has won seven World Series titles in franchise history.

Buzz Aldrin Endorses Trump For President

Retired United States Air Force Brigadier General Buzz Aldrin, a famed NASA astronaut, endorsed former President Donald Trump this week. Aldrin, the second person to walk on the moon, said that he was impressed by how Trump prioritized space exploration during his time in office. “Under President Trump’s first term, America saw a revitalized interest in space,” he said. “His Administration reignited national efforts to get back to the Moon, and push on to Mars – programs that continue today.” “The Trump Administration also reinstituted the National Space Council, so leading voices could advocate for the importance of space to America,” he continued. “Finally, under President Trump, the Nation’s defense was enhanced with the creation of the U.S. Space Force– increasingly important as space becomes a contested domain.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ He said he was also excited by individuals pushing for space exploration in the private sector, namely Elon Musk, who he called a “visionary.” He said he was deeply concerned about the global security landscape, domestic economic concerns, and stability in local communities. “The Presidency requires an understanding of human nature, clarity in judgement, decisiveness, knowledge, understanding, and calm under pressures few have a natural ability to manage, or the life experience to successfully undertake,” he said. “It is a job where decisions are made that routinely involve American lives – some urgently but not without thought. The job requires sober analysis of frightening scenarios, and the instinct to lead with resolve.” He said that he understands the importance of having certain leadership qualities based on his combat experience during the Korean War. “Most citizens rightly consider it an honor to cast their vote for a leader they believe will best serve the Nation – our government by, for and of the people,” he said. “For me, for the future of our Nation, to meet enormous challenges, and for the proven policy accomplishments above, I believe the nation is best served by voting for Donald J. Trump.” “I wholeheartedly endorse him for President of the United States,” he concluded. “Godspeed President Trump, and God Bless the United States of America.”
