Meta Engineer Brags About Shadowbanning, SWAT Team, Election Interference

A Meta senior software engineer was reportedly caught on camera boasting about his company’s ability to manipulate elections. Meta Senior Software Engineer Jeevan Gyawali was apparently caught on camera by James O’Keefe’s organization, O’Keefe Media Group (OMG), smugly explaining how platforms silence speech. When asked if Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, could influence elections, the man responded, “Yes.” This would seem to contradict Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s public letter disavowing further election interference. The OMG undercover journalist asked, “You guys [Meta] have the ability to influence the outcome of the election?” The man identified as Gyawali replied, “Yes.” When asked if Zuckerberg supports his company’s political influence and agenda to assist the Democrat Party in winning elections, Gyawali nodded in agreement saying, “100%.” The man identified by OMG as Gyawali explained how Meta can reportedly do this. “Say your uncle in Ohio said something about Kamala Harris is unfit to be a president because she doesn't have a child. That kind of sh*t is automatically demoted.” He continued, “The person would not be notified,” but a decline would be visible in the user’s engagement on posts and impressions. Gyawali told OMG that Meta’s so-called “Integrity Team” controls content through its “civic classifiers,” which is a system that “shadowbans” political posts without ever notifying the censored users. The man identified as Gyawali also told OMG that Meta has a team of people brainstorming how to address potential election issues. When asked about what the platform is doing to prevent another 2016, Gyawali said “There is a SWAT team that's already set up since, like I think April… just to think about all the scenarios of how the platform could be abused.” When challenged on so-called “disinformation,” a leftist term often used to describe dissenting opinions, Gyawali confidently asserted, “that’s all going to be demoted 100%.” OMG has since released another video showing a Meta software engineer also admitting to biased, anti-Donald Trump censorship. Meta spokesman Andy Stone asserted in reply to OMG that Meta’s political censorship isn’t biased. Meta openly admits to suppression of political content on Instagram and Threads, but OMG’s videos seemingly expose bias in that censorship. This kind of censorship can have a significant impact on elections. A 2020 MRC poll illustrated that Twitter and Meta’s effort to censor the Hunter Biden scandal helped sway the election in Joe Biden’s favor, as 17 percent of Biden voters would not have voted for him had they known. MRC Free Speech America has also separately documented Facebook’s interference in elections 39 times since 2008. Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on “hate speech” and equal footing for conservatives. If you have been censored, contact us using CensorTrack’s contact form, and help us hold Big Tech accountable.

Newsweek annihilated on social media over bizarre framing of Trump McDonald's story: 'The Pulitzer Prize is on the way'

Former President Donald Trump visited a McDonald's fast-food restaurant over the weekend to hand out french fries, but Newsweek's attempt to "debunk" the incident is being mocked and ridiculed on social media. Trump put on an apron and learned how to cook some of the menu items at the McDonald's in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania. The event produced amusing photos of the billionaire working the deep fryers and passing out Bic Macs at the drive-thru window. 'Wait, you’re telling me that Trump didn’t fill out an application and organically start working at a PA McDonald’s ... he staged it all?'The photo op went viral on social media, but Newsweek tried to find a nefarious angle in an attempt to undermine the effect of the clever publicity stunt. "Rumors have been circulating on social media that former President Donald Trump's visit to the popular fast food chain was staged," the outlet's headline sneered. The article was immediately mocked into oblivion by critics online. "I’m gonna have to spend some time contemplating the possibility that this was not a completely organic event featuring a former president taking a side gig at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s while he’s running for president," replied commentator Mary Katharine Ham. "Wait, you’re telling me that Trump didn’t fill out an application and organically start working at a PA McDonald’s where a film crew spontaneously showed up with SS vetted customers, he staged it all? It wasn’t for the $25 in wages??" responded blogger Courtney O'Dell. "Dust off the mantle, the Pulitzer Prize is on the way," joked satirist David Burge. "Woodward and Bernstein who? Looks like @Newsweek just wrapped up the Pulitzer for investigative journalism. Next up. Rumors Santa may not be real," said Barstool founder David Portnoy. The photo op itself was designed to mock Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris for claiming without evidence that she once worked at a McDonald's. "She never worked at McDonald's. It was a fake story," said Trump at a campaign rally. "It was a lie. She never worked at McDonald's over the hot french fries."Newsweek ended an 80-year run as a print magazine with its last edition in 2012. It has only been available online since then. 5 key House seats Republicans are likely to flip

While the Republicans' majority is increasingly narrow, there are currently five competitive blue seats that may help the GOP hold onto the House. The seats of Democratic Reps. Mary Peltola of Alaska, Yadira Caraveo of Colorado, Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington, and Jared Golden of Maine have all been ranked as toss-ups by Cook Political Report. Alongside these toss-up ratings, polling also suggests these seats are within Republicans' reach going into November. In 2022, Peltola is the first Democratic candidate to have been elected to Alaska's sole congressional seat in more than half a century after the state adopted a ranked-choice voting system, which allows voters to rank their preferred candidates rather than a typical two-party primary system. As a result, Republican candidates Nick Begich and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin split the GOP vote, allowing Peltola to flip the seat blue for the first time since 1970. Despite the ranked-choice system, Peltola is facing a challenge from just one Republican candidate, Nick Begich, after Nancy Dahlstrom dropped out to consolidate the GOP vote. Combined with Alaska's reliably red voting history, recent polls from the National Republican Congressional Committee put Peltola at an electoral disadvantage. Peltola is also featured on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's "frontline members" list consisting of the most competitive blue seats. Peltola's fellow frontliner, Caraveo, is also at risk of losing re-election to her Republican challenger. While one September poll puts the Colorado Democrat at a narrow three-point edge, a recent poll from early October puts her in a dead heat with Republican challenger Gabe Evans. Colorado's 8th Congressional District is also perfectly split between Republicans and Democrats, according to Cook Political Report.Caraveo won her seat in 2022 against Republican candidate Barbara Kirkmeyer by less than 1%. Since Slotkin opted to run for Senate, Democratic candidate Curtis Hertel and Republican challenger Tom Barrett have gone head to head for the seat. Slotkin flipped the longtime red seat blue in 2022, making the +2 Republican district a potential layup. Polling is also trending in Republicans' favor, with Barrett ahead of Hertel by four to six points. Slotkin secured her seat in Michigan's 7th Congressional District in 2022 by 5.4%. Perez, who is also featured on the DCCC's list of vulnerable front-liners, is set to face off against Republican candidate Joe Kent for the second time. Although Perez managed to flip the seat in 2022, she is currently polling dead even against Kent in the +5 Republican district, which may reinstate a red streak in Washington's third congressional district. Perez, who has refrained from endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris over former President Donald Trump, defeated Kent in 2022 by less than 1% after former Republican Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler retired. Golden, who has served Maine's congressional district for three consecutive terms, is also facing a tight race against Republican candidate Austin Theriault. Despite being a +6 Republican district, Golden won his seat by a 1% margin in 2018 and just over 6% in 2020 and 2022. Despite his historical electoral advantage, a recent poll shows Golden at a three-point deficit against Theriault. Like Blaze News? Kirk Cameron tells the Robertson brothers his plan for America’s revival

Hollywood actor turned Christian author and evangelist Kirk Cameron joined Jase and Al Robertson on the “Unashamed” podcast to share his plans for a full-fledged American revival. While Cameron is typically authoring children’s books for Brave Books, a Christian publishing company, he’s also turned his sights on adults who want to join the nationwide movement to take back America for God. Titled “Born to Be Brave: How to Be a Part of America's Spiritual Comeback,” Cameron’s latest book, which just dropped earlier this month, outlines how Christians, who have been given “a birthright of courage,” can fight back against the evil ideologies that have poisoned our country and reinstall our Christian values. - YouTube www.youtube.com Al and Phil, both of whom have already read the book, give it a stamp of approval. The book is aimed at Christians, who “talk about wanting to try to somehow change our culture, change our country ... but then sit someplace in a church building and have no impact on what's going on,” says Al, adding that his favorite chapter is “Heavenizing Earth.” “Tell folks what [heavenizing earth]” means, Al says to Cameron. “You go to Genesis chapter 1 you see that God is creating the world, and then he puts man on a mission and he says, ‘Be fruitful, multiply, fill the Earth, take dominions, subdue all that [God] has created,’” says Cameron, pointing out that God’s mission for man is rooted in the idea of “family.” That family, Cameron explains, was given a “cultural mandate” to “develop God's world in ways that are consistent with his character.” Then, following the resurrection of Jesus, the command to Christians expanded in the form of the Great Commission. God’s people were not just called to fill the Earth and be obedient to him, they were also called to spread the good news of salvation offered through Jesus. But despite the fact that we have been filled with and empowered by the Holy Spirit, today’s Christians are “so scared and depressed by the giants in our land,” says Cameron. What do giants look like today? “Big Tech, Big Government, Big Pharma, Big Business,” says Cameron. Now, we have Christians “sitting on their couch watching Fox News, crying in their Chick-fil-A soup, praying for a rapture.” But that mindset is not how God designed his people to function, and it’s certainly not going to help our nation reverse course. “We've created this self-fulfilling prophecy of a deteriorating future simply because we're not being salt and light in the culture,” says Cameron. “Meanwhile, the extremists on the left have a vision of victory for their worldview and believe that their ideas are powerful enough to create heaven on Earth.” The result of this combination is devastating — especially for kids. “These kids are going, ‘They’re the ones who care about the environment; they're the ones who seem to care about loving people, especially the outcast; they're the ones that want to bring people in from other countries and and give them asylum and a dream and a hope; they're the people that want to end all the problems in the world that are caused by greed and capitalism,”’ Cameron says. “All of a sudden, we have handed our biblical playbook of creating a beautiful culture over to the enemy who's starting to run our plays better than the family of faith is.” But it doesn’t have to be this way. To hear Kirk Cameron’s vision for our nation where Christians step into the power bestowed upon them by God and up to the plate of our calling, watch the episode above.
