LIARS! CBS, NBC Argue Trump Said ‘Without Evidence’ Kamala Never Worked at McDonald’s

CBS Mornings and NBC’s Today went apoplectic on Monday over former President Trump’s campaign stop at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, melting down over the “staged” event with “prescreened supporters” by the campaign (and presumably the Secret Service) and falsely arguing Trump “claim[ed] without any evidence that Vice President Harris didn’t once work at the fast food chain[.]” By doing so, the Harris lemmings ignored extensive reporting by the great Washington Free Beacon, which has spent months covering this Harris claim that has zero concrete evidence to support it, including from McDonald’s itself. CBS co-host Tony Dokoupil twice hit Trump, downplaying it as “staged” event. White House and campaign corresponded Ed O’Keefe had the network’s 2024 report and shared that Trump went “on offense last night in battleground Pennsylvania, visiting a Pittsburgh Steelers game” after “a day of campaign stops.”     This, O’Keefe explained, “included a visit to a McDonald’s, closed just for him, where he tried scoring political points after claiming without any evidence, that Vice President Harris didn’t once work at the fast food chain while in college.” He then played a clip of Trump saying “she never worked at McDonald’s,” but dutifully rebutted that as though he were a Harris surrogate: “She says she did. He leaned through the drive-through window to take reporter questions, but wouldn’t say if he supports boosting the minimum wage.” Elsewhere in his report, he fawned over Harris’s 60th birthday including a serenade from Stevie Wonder and lamented Trump stooped to “a new level of bizarre comments” with “12 minutes” Saturday “about the late golfer Arnold Palmer” and “attacked Harris with vulgar language” (the s-word). In the show’s third hour, Dokoupil revisited the “unusual, unexpected” visit by Trump to don “an apron...and...worked the fry machine for a little while.” Dokoupil quickly poo-pooed this act of retail politics: Now, you might think there's just everyday normal McDonald's customers there in line, but no, the people at the drive through, we are told, were all prescreened supporters. Meanwhile — there is a prescreened supporter right there happy to get fries from the former President. Well, it’s worth pre-screening those who interact with Trump given the reality that, along with Iran itself, two different people have nearly assassinated him this year. As for NBC, Trump correspondent Garrett Haake huffed about Trump “using profane language” Saturday and turning the next day to “a lighter tone” with a shift “working the fry cooker outside Philadelphia, passing drive-through orders to customers prescreened by the campaign.” “The former President greeting voters...but also using the backdrop to claim without evidence that Harris isn’t being truthful working about her time working at a McDonald’s while a college student,” he griped. Haake also took on the Palmer remarks, kvetching Trump’s “vulgar” comments about Palmer’s manhood “raised eyebrows” as a way to tee up Harris’s Sunday MSNBC appearance. ABC’s Good Morning America downplayed Trump at McDonald’s, likely fearing this would make Trump seem like an actual human being. Vicious Trump hater Rachel Scott only had this: “And, at a campaign photo op at McDonald’s, the former President fixated over whether Harris ever worked there[.]” Instead, Scott whined with a Super Size-d portion of hyperbole about Trump’s “closing message” not containing a “vision for the country,” but “vulgar language and profane attacks” on her beloved Vice President Kamala Harris (click “expand”): SCOTT: Donald Trump has never been a conventional candidate. He rarely sticks to a script, but his closing message in the critical battleground state of Pennsylvania is drawing attention this morning, not for what he said about his vision for the country, but because of his vulgar language and profane attacks. Over the weekend, Donald Trump barnstorming Pennsylvania for what his campaign said would be the starting closing message to voters. TRUMP: If we win Pennsylvania, we win the whole damn thing, right? SCOTT: But his rally in that must-win state took a lewd and vulgar turn. The former President opening his speech with a 12-minute diatribe about the late golf legend Arnold Palmer, who grew up in the town, and how other players reacted after seeing him in the shower. [TRUMP CLIP] SCOTT: When Trump eventually turned to his rival, used profanity to attack Vice President Kamala Harris. TRUMP: So you have to tell Kamala Harris that you’ve had enough, that you just can’t take it anymore. We can’t stand you. You’re a [EXPLETIVE] Vice President. The worst. SCOTT: Trump drifted throughout his speech. In one 30 second rift, he went from pushing false claims about the 2020 election to complaining that President Biden is no longer in the race, to talking about his hair. TRUMP: He got 14 million votes and he won, 22 people running, 22 Democrats — they’re running. Oh, I’m looking at my hair up there. Let’s see. Oh. I don’t like it. I don’t like it. Excuse me, I’m gonna recomb my hair. Do you mind? I’ll leave the stage for five minutes. I am going to recomb my hair, Mr. Future Senator. We have David down here, Mr. Future Senator. You gotta get him in. SCOTT: Despite pleas from his allies to focus on the issues, not personal attacks, Trump has only escalated his rhetoric. For the third time in just one week, repeating claims that his political opponents are the enemy from within. At one point, even suggesting they could be, “easily” handled by the military. TRUMP [on FNC’s MediaBuzz, 10/20/24]: The outside people, they might not be enemies. If you have a smart president, they can be handled SCOTT: During an interview with Fox News he was presented with facts to challenge him on his false claims about January 6. [TRUMP-KURTZ CLIP] SCOTT: Over a dozen members of the mob have faced gun charges as part of the attack. ABC had Mary Bruce — Disney’s in-house North Korean news lady for the Biden-Harris administration — cheered Harris on for “dialing everything up, doing more events, hitting more battleground states with more star power, and punching back even more at Donald Trump[.]” Bruce continued on with more fluff and touted the false claims about how Georgia woman Amber Thurman died (click “expand”): BRUCE: With just over two weeks to go, Harris shifting strategy, calling Trump out in near real time overnight responding to his recent profane attacks against her. HARRIS [on MSNBC’s PoliticsNation, 10/20/24]: It demeans the office and I have said and I’m very clear about this. Donald Trump should never again stand behind the seal of the president of the United States. He has not earned the right. BRUCE: Harris is upping her warnings about Trump, labeling him as unstable and unhinged and seizing on reports that Trump is exhausted by the rigors of campaigning. HARRIS: Have you notice he tends to go off script and ramble and generally, for the life of him, cannot finish a thought and he has called it the weave? BRUCE: She’s also increasingly using Trump’s own words against him, in campaign ads and at her rallies, especially to highlight the issue of abortion. In Georgia, Harris welcoming the family of Amber Thurman, who blamed the state’s strict abortion ban for her death and accusing Trump of creating a health care crisis across the country, calling him cruel. HARRIS: He even smirked Amber’s family for sharing their story. Play the clip. HARRIS FAULKNER [TO TRUMP]: Amber Thurman’s family have come out on a press call and they’re doing what’s called a prebuttal to our town hall right now. TRUMP: Oh, that’s nice. FAULKNER [TO TRUMP]: Yeah? And I wanna get — TRUMP: We’ll get better ratings, I promise. HARRIS: What we see continually from Donald Trump is exactly what that clip shows. He belittles their sorrow, making it about himself and his television ratings. It is cruel and listen, I promised Amber’s mother that we will always remember her story and speak her name, Amber Nicole Thurman. BRUCE: Now. Harris is also leaning into her star power, appearing this past weekend with Stevie Wonder, Usher, and Lizzo. Now, this week she’ll be on the trail for the first alongside the Obamas. Now, today, she’s hitting all three of those critical blue wall states, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin. She’ll be out with Liz Cheney. How left-wing billionaires INFECTED Christianity to suppress the religious vote

In a shocking survey by the Barna Group, it’s been revealed that 32 million church-attending Christians are planning to sit this election out and not show up at the ballot box. “There’s a really important data point in that Barna research, and it’s that it’s not just Christians that are sitting out, it is regular churchgoers, so it’s not just the people who culturally identify as Christians,” bestselling author and Daily Wire reporter Megan Basham tells Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show.” But why is it happening? “One, obviously, we have to acknowledge the abortion issue. I think the Republican Party’s conflicting messaging on this cycle has depressed enthusiasm a little bit,” Basham explains. “But, there’s also something else that I think is more significant going on and that is the fact that a lot of this voter suppression, lack of enthusiasm, has been deliberately orchestrated by left secular foundations and billionaires,” she continues. Basham believes “they have been working for the last few years to try to convince Christians, ‘Hey, you don’t need to vote. It’s not important that you play a part in the political process. In fact, it could be political idolatry.’” One example is a Bible study curriculum called “The Afterparty,” which was created by David French, the editor in chief of Christianity Today, and a Democrat Party Duke Divinity professor. “All three never-Trumpers, two of whom are supporting Kamala Harris openly,” Basham says. “They created this supposed political Bible study curriculum to go into conservative churches, conservative college campuses. There was an effort to get it on 185 conservative college campuses, and it teaches Christians that politics are really complex.” “‘It’s not always clear who you should vote for, and what we really need to do is turn down the rhetoric, and, in fact, we don’t know how we should vote except on the issue of alleged racial injustice,’” she says, giving an example. “It makes it pretty clear when you read the curriculum who they want you to vote for, and that curriculum is exclusively funded by hard left secular foundations, Rockefeller philanthropy advisers, and the Hewlett Foundation, which also backed Planned Parenthood and transgender initiatives for youth and things of that nature,” Basham explains, adding, “These are not Christians, and they are funding these kind of operations in order to, I would say, really suppress that Christian vote.” Want more from Liz Wheeler? To enjoy more of Liz’s based commentary, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

Catholic high school girls' soccer team boycotts game against school with infamous male player

A Catholic high school girls' soccer team in New Hampshire refused to play against another school with a male on its team.Bishop Brady High School in Concord took a stand against Kearsage Regional High School, which has a boy on its girls' team despite state law prohibiting such participation. The Kearsage Regional school board reportedly has voted 6-1 in favor of allowing Jacques and other boys to play on the same teams as girls.Bishop Brady girls refused to show up for the game Friday, Fox News said, citing multiple reports. The team from Kearsarge Regional High School features a male star athlete named Maelle Jacques, who plays goalkeeper. The boy is already well known for making headlines after winning a state championship in the girls' high jump in February.Jacques is reportedly 6'1" tall and has sparked outrage with at least one other team in the region. The Hillsboro-Deering High School soccer team refused to play against Kearsage just three weeks prior — perhaps signaling a trend that young women in the state will not stand for unfairness.Despite the New Hampshire state law, a federal judge appointed by former President Barack Obama granted an injunction Sept. 10 allowing two male athletes to continue playing with female athletes — and even to change in the same locker room as female athletes — until a final ruling has been made. Judge Landya McCafferty was appointed in 2013.The other athlete in question, Parker Tirrell, plays for Plymouth Regional High School.Plymouth was the center of controversy when parents of students at Bow High School decided to show their support for female athletes by wearing wristbands with "XX" on them when their school played against a team with the boy.School officials reportedly stopped the game, demanded parents take off the wristbands, and had police issue "no trespass" orders against parents."My daughter's playing in the homecoming game this weekend, and I'm banned," a parent said at the time. "I can't watch her play in homecoming — which is ridiculous," the father added. The Kearsage Regional school board reportedly has voted 6-1 in favor of allowing Jacques and other boys to play on the same teams as girls.Fed upWomen across the country have become fed up with playing against males in their sports, with five different women's volleyball teams in the NCAA forfeiting matches against San Jose State University, which has a male athlete on the women's team."The vast majority of us decided that this isn't right, [that] we need to protect women's sports, and we're going to forfeit," Nevada's team captain Sia LiiLii told Blaze News.At the same time, a group of former athletes and legal activists attended a United Nations General Assembly event and urged the international body to take a stand on behalf of women.Attorney Kristen Waggoner and Reem Alsalem, the U.N. special rapporteur on violence against women and girls, called for the international sports community to keep men out of women's sports.Like Blaze News? Lizzo embraces Trump's warning that Kamala Harris will leave country looking like Detroit

Lizzo elicited criticism over the weekend for embracing President Donald Trump's warning that Kamala Harris would leave the whole country looking like Detroit — and suggesting that such an outcome would be optimal. The rapper, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, informed her supporters prior to taking a private jet to stump for the Green New Deal advocate, "This is how a bad b**** saves democracy." Jefferson, who now lives nearly 2,000 miles away in a $15 million California mansion, later told a crowd of Democrats in Detroit, where the median listing price for a home is $95,000, "I'm so proud to be from this city. You know, they say if Kamala wins, then the whole country will be like Detroit. OK." The Democratic crowd cheered at the prospect that Harris might transform the rest of the country to resemble a crime-ridden city that filed for bankruptcy in 2013. Detroit, a city that has seen its population shrink from over 1.8 million in the 1950s to just over 633,000 last year, scores a 1 on Neighborhood Scout's crime index, where 100 is safest. The chances of falling prey to a violent crime in the city are 1 in 49. The chances of becoming a victim of a property crime are 1 in 22. According to official city figures, there were 252 homicides, 804 nonfatal shootings, 10,427 aggravated assaults, 669 rapes, 167 carjackings, 9,421 reported motor vehicle thefts, 4,821 burglaries, 15,681 larceny offenses, and 1,392 robberies in the city last year. WalletHub once again ranked Detroit — where the unemployment rate is over twice the national average at 8.8% — as the neediest of 182 cities in the country. The median household income in the city last year was less than half of the national figure of $80,610. Jefferson continued, saying, "Proud like Detroit. Resilient like Detroit. We're talking about the same Detroit that innovated the auto industry and the music industry. So put some respect on Detroit's name, okay?" 'They actually want Trump to win.' Jefferson was referring to President Donald Trump's Oct. 10 speech at the Detroit Economic Club, where he said, "Our whole country will end up like Detroit if she's your president. You're going to have a mess on your hands. She destroyed San Francisco. She destroyed, along with Newscum, California, and we're not going to let her do that to this country. We're not going to let it happen." The Harris campaign and liberal media were keen at the time to ignore the context of Trump's remarks, namely that he was criticizing the hollowing out of America's manufacturing base. Trump went onto say, "I am telling you right now, standing here in the center of this once-great city, that by the end of my term, the entire world will be talking about the Michigan miracle and the stunning rebirth of Detroit." Victoria LaCivita, Trump's Michigan communications director, clarified in a statement obtained by CNN that Trump was highlighting how the city has "suffered from globalist policies championed by Kamala Harris that have shipped manufacturing overseas." "As President Trump emphasized in his speech, his policies will usher in a new era of economic success and stability for Detroit, helping the city reach its fullest potential," added LaCivita. Critics seized upon Jefferson's remarks, sharing images of abandoned houses in Detroit, staggering statistics about the city's crime, and damning figures regarding the education system. BlazeTV's Pat Gray said, "Are you serious? What a stupid thing to say. I mean, even if you're proud of your town, you know the rest of the country thinks it's a hellhole, right?" Conservative commentor Trish Regan noted, "#Lizzo says US 'becoming Detroit' is a good thing. *30% of Detroit lives BELOW poverty line. *Detroit=DOUBLE DIGIT unemployment. *Detroit=one of the highest crime rates in the country. America cannot be #Detroit. USA wants more than ⁦@lizzo ⁩ & Kamala can ever imagine." David Scott, the musician known as the Kiffness, responded, "I'm from South Africa, (one of the highest crime rates in the world) & I've never been robbed on tour. I was in Detroit last year & our tour van was robbed TWICE in one night." Comedian David Angelo shared the video with the caption, "My theory has been that Democrats know everything is about to collapse and they actually want Trump to win." Like Blaze News?
