Goldberg Headlines Broadway Harris Rally, The View Hosts Haven’t Donated to Her Yet

Whoopi Goldberg, moderator for ABC News’s The View, spoke out against former President Donald Trump at a Monday night campaign event for Vice President Kamala Harris titled Broadway Rallies for Kamala. While on stage, she proclaimed that they were all in “the fight of our lives” this elections cycle. But NewsBusters research found that none of The View cast has given money to Harris since she became the Democratic nominee. During the exclusive event on Broadway, Goldberg declared that “we are in the fight of our lives”: If you’re straight. If you’re gay. If you’re a woman. If you’re black. If you’re Asian. Where ever you come from. If you’re Hispanic. This is the fight of our lives. And if we lose this, it is because we didn’t do everything we could do. So, I’m begging you all, do everything. Sign up for everything. Do as much as you can. Do what you can.” She also demanded the audience pressure “the young people” because “they don’t know any better. They were little kids the last time that clown was president. They didn’t have to think about it because they were little kids. Now, you got to teach them.”     Goldberg’s efforts to raise money and get out the vote for Harris tracked with a recent Media Research Center study that showed that The View’s coverage of Trump was 100 percent negative and 100 percent positive for Harris. But, while Goldberg was helping to raise money for Harris, NewsBusters analysis of Open Secrets campaign contribution data discovered that, as of the posting of this piece, she had not put her money where her mouth was. According to Open Secrets, Goldberg had not contributed to any political campaign or SuperPAC in 30 years. In 1994, she gave a series of four $1,000 contributions to Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) (x2), DNC Services Corp, and Michael Farber (D). NewsBusters did not find any donation information under Goldberg’s real name “Caryn Elaine Johnson.” As for the rest of The View cast, according to the available data via Open Secrets, none of them have given money to Harris despite all of them either openly endorsing her or taking part in campaign events. Joy Behar hasn’t donated any money in the 2024 cycle, with her most recent donations going to New York Democrat Robert Zimmerman’s losing fight against Republican George Santos in NY-3 in 2022 (2 $1,000 donations for the primary and general elections), and $50 to Democrat Beto O’Rourke’s failed 2022 Senate campaign against Ted Cruz (R) in Texas. She also gave $250 to The Lincoln Project in 2020. The only cast member to donate to any campaign in 2024 was Sunny Hostin, who donated under her real name “Asuncion Hostin.” In 2024, she donated to Democrat Nate Douglas in his run for a seat in the Florida House of Representatives (she lives in New York). In 2020, three days after election day, she gave $333 each to the Senate campaigns of Georgia Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, and Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight PAC. In 2008, she gave a total of $1,250 to Barack Obama (D), and $420 to Hillary Clinton’s Senate run in 2006. Searching for Ana Navarro was a bit trickier since she has a common name, but she did give President Joe Biden two payments of $250 for his 2020 run (primary and general elections). She also gave $287 to Harris in 2019 for her first bid for president. The records also show that back when she supported the Republican Party, she did donate to their candidates going back many years. There were no contribution records for both Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin. It’s worth noting that Farah Griffin did headline an anti-Trump campaign event in the swing state of Pennsylvania earlier this month. In recent days, The View cast has called Trump “an existential threat to humanity,” suggested Nazi-style death camps were coming to the U.S., claimed Kristallnacht 2.0 was on the way, and demanded the media do more for Harris. Their utter lack of contributions to the candidate they claimed was America’s savior (and who they introduced as "the next president of the United States") should bring pause to those who watch the show and give weight to their opinions. If they won’t put their money where their mouth was during what they insisted was “the fight of our lives,” one should ask why that was.

Satanic Temple opens abortion clinic in Virginia for its 'destruction ritual'

Satanic Temple opens abortion clinic in Virginia for its 'destruction ritual'

After helping kill over 100 unborn babies in New Mexico at an average cost of $91 per head, the Satanic Temple has expanded its abortion enterprise to Virginia. The anti-Christian group, based in Massachusetts, announced on Saturday that it is now offering expectant mothers in the Old Dominion telehealth abortion services and possible travel assistance, noting that patients need only cover the cost of the abortifacient from its California-based partner pharmacy. While co-founder Lucien Greaves and other proponents of the radical group deny actually worshipping demonic forces — indicating that theirs is effectively an atheistic leftist organization wearing the skin of a satanic cult that just happens to erect statues of Baphomet around Christmastime — the Virginia death dispensary, like the Temple's "Samuel Alito's Mom's Satanic Abortion Clinic" in New Mexico, blurs the lines between role-play and the real thing. 'The ritual, which includes the abortion itself, spans the entirety of the pregnancy termination procedure.' For women seeking to snuff out the life growing inside them, the Satanic Temple offers an "abortion ritual," which it describes as a "destructive ritual that serves as a protective rite." The stated purpose of this death ritual is to "cast off notions of guilt, shame and mental discomfort" associated with the extermination of innocent life and to altogether affirm the choice. "TST's abortion ritual can be performed to address definable concerns or to overcome unproductive feelings," says the ritual guideline. "The ritual, which includes the abortion itself, spans the entirety of the pregnancy termination procedure. There are steps to be performed before, during, and after the medical or surgical abortion." The radical group makes repeated mention of individual rights and "scientific reasoning" on its site, suggesting that in the case of individual rights, "one's body is inviolable, subject to one's own will alone," and in the case of scientific reasoning that "beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world." However, such statements amount to little more than a rhetorical smokescreen. After all, the Satanic Temple appears keen to overlook the rights of the unborn as well as the scientific reasoning concerning fetal pain, fetal cognitive function, and the separate genetic identity of the unborn child. 'The Satanic Temple's ultimate goal is to undermine Christ's kingdom.' Erin Helian, the executive director of the Satanic Temple, told the Christian Post that the Virginia death dispensary — which deals in the kind of dangerous chemical abortion pills that effectively killed Amber Thurman in 2022 — was made possible in part by the funding of donors. The Satanic Temple has been chasing after donations of $66.60 for its burgeoning abortion enterprise. "As abortion rights continue to be a central issue in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, we remain steadfast in our mission to expand access and protect bodily autonomy," the radical group noted in a release. "We will not stop until we have made a lasting difference." Helping American women abort their children is not the Satanic Temple's only preoccupation, although it has certainly made a habit of challenging pro-life legislation. The radical group has also distributed satanic literature to children; publicly performed "unbaptisms"; held a demonization ceremony in protest of the canonization of the Catholic Spanish priest Junípero Serra; promoted euthanasia and pornography; and erected demon statues on government property. Blaze News' Kevin Ryan recently noted that despite its members' denial, the Satanic Temple's "devotion to Satan — a mythological character, they say — is unmistakable." "If they were truly godless, they wouldn't fixate so obsessively on Christianity. The Satanic Temple's ultimate goal is to undermine Christ's kingdom," wrote Ryan. "The Satanic Temple and other movements that promote abortion rights in the name of autonomy are in fact beholden to an anti-freedom," added Ryan. "Christians know that Satan cannot create life — he only destroys. He may offer seductive ideas cloaked in equality or liberty, but his goal is always to eradicate the value of human life, which stands at the core of God's creation." Like Blaze News? Sheriff's office reveals precisely how illegal aliens accused of preying upon a child stole into the US

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office published details of how three men from Honduras were apparently able to illegally enter the United States and eventually allegedly sexually assault a minor. According to the PBSO, Selvin Lopez Lopez, Erick Lopez Lopez, and Jesersson Lopez Lopez were "arrested for numerous counts of lewd lascivious behavior (capital sexual battery) on a minor under 12 years of age." The sheriff's office believes the abuse took place between August of this year and the time they were arrested. The PBSO said in the course of its investigation, deputies found Selvin and Erick had illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border in 2021 and handed themselves over to U.S. Border Patrol. Upon their release from custody, they were told to call for a court date, but they apparently never did. Jesersson reportedly illegally crossed the border in 2023 and was given a court date for 2028 when he was released. 'They should have never been here to start with.' The PBSO reported that all three men are currently in the county jail with no bond. — (@) "Three absolute MONSTERS charged with sexual battery on a 12 year old child. All three of them were let into our country by Kamala Harris," the Trump campaign said in response to the PBSO's post. Back in March, Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said he was frustrated seeing illegal immigrants commit horrific crimes against women and children. He made his comments after three such cases occurred within a few months' time. "They should have never been here to start with. So now you have people that have been victimized that shouldn't have been victimized at all," he said, according to WPEC. "We have our border out here, which is the ocean, and we patrol that heavily. My hands are tied about the ones that get in here. I have to deal with them as they come to us." Like Blaze News? Does cloud seeding cause hurricanes?

Can the government control the weather? Well, the answer isn't no — but it's not quite yes. Peter Gietl, managing editor for Return, is well-aware that weather modification systems like cloud seeding “sounds like some sort of crazy Alex Jones-level conspiracy” — but it’s far from it. Cloud seeding was invented in the 1940s by Kurt Vonnegut’s brother, Bernard Vonnegut, and the technology was reportedly used to attempt to increase monsoons in Vietnam by the U.S. government. “So the technology itself has actually been around for awhile,” Gietl tells Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson of “Blaze News Tonight.” “Instead of thinking of it as controlling the weather, it’s kind of augmenting the weather, or making it a little worse. So they can shoot silver iodine and other particles up into the air and basically it’s trying to cause the rain to fall out of it. So they can increase storms, increase rainfall,” Gietl explains. “We saw it in Dubai, it can cause flooding,” he says. “We don’t know a lot of the long-term ramifications of what it can cause, what the environmental effects and whether or not we should be trying to control and affect the weather.” It’s important to be skeptical of the hands the technology has ended up in and how it’s being used, and many Americans are beginning to wonder if their own government could be using this technology against them. “A lot of people on the internet and elsewhere are looking at these hurricanes and thinking, ‘I don’t trust the government anymore, and I don’t trust any institutions anymore, and is someone playing God here?’” Peterson says. “We don’t really see any evidence of that, that these hurricanes were manipulated or enlarged by this technology, and I think it would be very hard to try and even steer a storm in a certain direction,” Gietl says. “Theoretically, you could make a storm worse, but at the moment, we don’t have any direct evidence that there was any manipulation of these two hurricanes.” Want more from 'Blaze News Tonight'?To enjoy more provocative opinions, expert analysis, and breaking stories you won’t see anywhere else, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.
