“Back to the Future” star Lea Thompson scolded white women in the wake of a recent Pew poll that showed them favoring former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris. Fresh off its smash-success theatrical run, “Am I Racist?” will begin streaming exclusively on DailyWire+ starting October 28. The film directed by Justin Folk features famed provocateur Matt Walsh going undercover in the world of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), hilariously skewering the absurdity of race hustlers. Although “Am I Racist?” has been objectively successful at the box office and in the zeitgeist, the film was not received without controversy: mainstream critics largely ignored the film, likely for fear of having to acknowledge its success, despite it quickly attaining a “Verified Hot” status on Rotten Tomatoes with a 97% audience score at more than 2500+ verified reviews, and an A CinemaScore. The film also faced boycotts from independent theaters, with one locale dropping showings of the movie after a “strong reaction” from the community prompted “safety” concerns. Regardless of backlash, the film was heralded by Joe Rogan as “one of the best comedies I’ve seen in a long time,” with a Wall Street Journal opinion writer also boasting that “Mr. Walsh’s movie is performing a public service.” Even some on the Left couldn’t help but praise “Am I Racist?”. Vinson Cunningham at The New Yorker called the film “something a red-pilled Sacha Baron Cohen might make.” “The biggest coup of ‘Am I Racist?’ is the interview that Walsh scores with Robin DiAngelo,” Cunningham added. A Nashville restaurant that had become a local staple in the community closed its doors for good this weekend months after its owner was killed by an illegal immigrant from Mexico during an attempted robbery. After 10 years of business, Smokin Thighs announced that last Sunday would be its last day of service. The restaurant’s owner, 42-year-old Matt Carney, died in July from injuries sustained during the incident in the parking lot of his restaurant on June 19. According to police, 29-year-old Ulises Martinez, an illegal immigrant, admitted to striking Carney with his truck during an attempted robbery. Martinez was charged with murder days after the incident when he was arrested at a Nashville motel. Martinez’s immigration status was first reported by The Daily Wire, with ICE saying that he unlawfully entered the country at an unknown date and location. A second man arrested over the incident, 31-year-old Adrian Diaz-Aguirre, has previous criminal convictions and has been deported four times. On Sunday, Carney’s wife, Molly, posted on social media that Smokin Thighs, which started as a food truck, would close.  “Saying goodbye is hard. It’s really hard,” she posted. “It is with profound sadness that I share the time has come for us all to say goodbye to Smokin’ Thighs.” “To the Nashville community, I’ll be forever grateful for your welcoming spirit of Smokin’ Thighs. Your unwavering support of our family, particularly in these past months, has been remarkable,” she added. “Without you Matt’s dream would never have become a reality.” Molly Carney also thanked all current and former employees who worked with her husband at the restaurant over the years.  Carney attempted to stop two men from stealing tools out of the bed of his truck outside of his restaurant, according to police. The two men attempted to drive off, throwing Carney off the hood of the truck and onto the street, where he bled heavily before being rushed to the hospital. Carney ended up dying from his injuries on July 4, and Martinez was arrested two weeks later on July 18.  Carney’s death was lamented by former President Donald Trump, who spoke of the incident while discussing a number of crimes committed by illegal immigrants.  “Look at what’s happening to our cities. Our cities are being overrun,” Trump said. “On July 4th, a 42-year-old Nashville man died after he tried to stop an illegal alien from stealing tools out of his truck. The illegal alien did a number on this man that nobody could even believe. The police officers said [it was] one of the most vicious crimes they’ve ever seen.” Nashville Police Homicide Detective Tyler Manivong testified in August that Martinez confessed to driving the truck and hitting Carney when he was first arrested and interviewed by police. 

A massive fire that broke out over the weekend at a factory in Iran is reportedly linked to the country’s nuclear program, raising suspicions that the fire was an act of sabotage. Iran International reported that the fire, which was not widely reported outside Iran, erupted in the Shadabad iron market in Tehran. Israeli intelligence research center Intelli Times said that the fire “consumed two metal factories that were engaged in the production of chips for parts of centrifuges and valves that can be used by Iran’s nuclear industry.” The report said that the damage from the fire was cross-referenced with satellite images of the industrial area and maps identifying the companies located at the facilities. Earlier this year, news broke that Iran covered up a covert Israeli operation in July 2020 that resulted in the destruction of an Iranian nuclear facility that was kept secret from international atomic regulators. Iran International discovered the incident after sifting through millions of documents from Iran’s judiciary and the Ministry of Intelligence that were stolen by hackers. The publication stumbled upon a case in which nine defendants were charged with “confrontation with the Islamic government,” “sabotage,” “destruction of one of the Atomic Energy Organization’s devices,” “acts against national security through cooperation with Israel,” and possession of firearms and drugs. An anonymous person claiming to be a disgruntled creditor contacted three brothers and asked them to hire a team of criminals to set the secret atomic workshop on fire. The brothers, who hired six additional cohorts, were paid 2.7 billion rials ($10,000 at the time) and told they would be paid more if they destroyed the facility by setting it on fire and filming it. The nine defendants stormed the facility in an old neighborhood in southwestern Tehran with weapons, tied up the guard, and destroyed at least some of the equipment inside, the report said. The attack “became one of the most significant national security issues in Iran, with reports reaching Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic,” the report said. All nine defendants were arrested within a month and were accused of acting on behalf of Israel’s Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations, commonly known as Mossad. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says that it was never alerted by Iran to the existence of the facility, a clear violation of international law. One of the puzzling aspects of the case was that Khamenei ordered harsh punishments for those behind the attack, and yet the most severe sentence handed down was only 10 years, while some got as few as just four years. Iran routinely executes those who are accused of spying or acting on behalf of Israel or the United States. A former member of Iran’s Parliament who has extensive knowledge of Iran’s nuclear activities told Iran International: “I am almost familiar with all the nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic and have often seen these centers up close, but I have never heard of such facilities in the Shadabad area. Considering that the Ministry of Intelligence and the judiciary believe this incident was the work of Israel, we are definitely talking about an important workshop.”

A clip of Vice President Kamala Harris voicing her support for changing Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples’ Day is circulating online, and the Trump campaign has responded. Harris made her opinion of the holiday and its honoree clear during her failed 2020 presidential campaign and during her time in the Biden-Harris administration, as it was the first to issue a presidential proclamation of Indigenous Peoples’ Day to be honored alongside Columbus Day, a federal holiday established by Congress. “Every October, the United States has recognized the voyage of the European explorers who first landed on the shores of the Americas,” Harris said during the speech at the National Congress of American Indians Conference in 2021. “But that is not the whole story. The document noted that Harris had exclusively celebrated Indigenous Peoples’ Day over Columbus Day each year and that she told a voter she would support renaming the federal holiday for good. “Kamala Harris is your stereotypical leftist. Not only does she want to raise taxes and defund the police — she also wants to cancel American traditions like Columbus Day,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “President Trump will make sure Christopher Columbus’ great legacy is honored and protect this holiday from radical leftists who want to erase our nation’s history like Kamala Harris,” Leavitt added. “For generations, Indigenous people have protected their lands, languages, knowledge, and traditions. On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor these many contributions and recommit to working alongside Indigenous people to ensure their communities thrive for generations to come,” Harris tweeted last year on Columbus Day. “On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we pay respect to Tribal Nations and indigenous history. Today and every day, let us continue to celebrate and uplift the rich contributions of Indigenous peoples—their leadership has made our country stronger,” she shared in 2022.

He then shocked the crowd with some impressive break-dancing moves before his Rylee came to greet him again.
