October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and many women courageously share their stories this time of year to encourage other women to monitor their breast health. Sometimes, they reveal a diagnosis that was otherwise kept under wraps because the timing feels right to share. Jenna Fischer, 50, made a stunning revelation on October 8 when she shared on Instagram that she was cancer-free after a diagnosis in December 2023. But a mammogram shortly after brought a shocking diagnosis. Jenna had stage 1 triple-positive breast cancer. Doctors caught the disease early, but because it was aggressive, she endured a lengthy treatment period. Jenna had a lumpectomy followed by 12 rounds of weekly chemotherapy and then radiation. She continues treating her cancer with medication at home but shared, “I’m happy to say I’m feeling great.” She wrote that she’s announcing now because other women sharing their stories inspired her. Jenna hopes she will encourage women to get their annual mammogram. “If I had waited six months longer, things could have been much worse. It could have spread. Seeing women post photos of their mammogram appointments on Instagram needled me into setting my own (which I was late for.) I am so glad I did. Consider this your kick in the butt to get it done. Fans shared their love for Jenna. A fan wrote, “My jaw dropped. Thank you for the vulnerability and for using your platform correctly. Sending you so much love.” Many others shared positive thoughts with Jenna. “Love you, Jenna, thank you for sharing your story. Get your checkups, all.” Fellow breast cancer survivor Olivia Munn praised her friend, “You already know how much I love you and how incredibly proud of you I am. But I just want to say it again I love you, and by sharing your story, you’re helping so many women and saving so many lives. The Democrats were upset when positive media coverage didn't help Kamala Harris when she was avoiding the media. They've been saying this for months. So now, when she engaged in a positive media blitz of interviews, the Democrats were upset when it didn't seem to be helping. All the hosts were trying to help. But Kamala saying to Sunny Hostin and then Stephen Colbert that she would have done nothing differently than Biden isn't helping. Even pro-Harris journalists confessed it's hard to send the message "Turn the Page" while you're saying there's nothing Biden did that you didn't support.  The toughest questions she faced came from CBS on 60 Minutes, and then it turned out that CBS manipulated their Kamala interview. A word-salad answer on an Israel question was previewed on Face the Nation on Sunday. But when the 60 Minutes special aired on Monday, there was a firmer Kamala answer. Where did that come from? Donald Trump, as well as MRC founder Brent Bozell have demanded CBS release the full transcript. CBS also faced a serious problem when its internal woke mob erupted against morning host Tony Dokoupil for asking tough questions of leftist author Ta-Nehisi Coates, who repeatedly compares Israel to South African apartheid and American segregation in the Jim Crow South. Dokoupil has eluded their "Race and Culture Unit" who is supposed to monitor all questions for wokeness.  Puck’s Dylan Byers noted dozens of CBS journalists attack what they perceived as Dokoupil’s “history of editorializing on the Israel-Palestine conflict,” as if CBS reporters on the scene aren't editorializing when they inveigh against Israel. Justin Baragona at Zeteo – a website run by viciously anti-Israel journalist Mehdi Hasan – quoted an anonymous source inside who said “If Tony would just shut the f--k up, none of this would be happening.” When it comes to Hamas, CBS News is now STFU News. No one should imagine that CBS News was better in the 1960s or 1970s or 1990s. In every decade, they've displayed appalling leftist and partisan bias. Washington Post "icon" Bob Woodward has a new book stuffed with anonymous gossip, and the media repeated these claims incessantly, at least the one where Donald Trump apparently send Covid tests to Vladimir Putin in 2020. They weren't as eager to repeat someone claiming Biden said Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu was a "bad f--king guy."
