Democrats and other pestilential nudniks are still trying to solve the impenetrable mystery of how their presidential candidate lost to someone as horrible as they pretended Donald Trump was. Chairman of the Democrat National Committee Vladimir Jihad recently discussed the issue on a Zoom call with a group of masked rioters and financial con men called Black Lives Matter Unless They Don’t. Mr. Jihad, who usually identifies as a woman except at this time of month when he feels the cramps just aren’t worth it, told the group, “Like many of you, I’ve been trying to unravel the puzzling riddle of how anyone could reject the Democrat party. After weeks of reflection, I began to wonder if it was because we burned down cities, mismanaged wars, mutilated children and allowed criminals to pour across our borders, but then I thought, Nah, it must be the fault of the voters. Sure, there was terrible inflation, higher crime and more global threats, but that was just in real life. On the news, everything was great! The problem was that instead of getting the facts from trusted sources like NBC and the New York Times, voters were swamped with misinformation from social media, and their wallets, and the sad, hungry faces of their children, and their own eyes. We have to work harder to keep that misinformation from spreading by repeatedly calling people racist until they’re intimidated into silence. We just haven’t done enough of that.” Despite the gloomy outcome, the Zoom call was immediately followed by a celebratory gala during which the participants fondly relived the party’s glory days by burning Minneapolis to the ground again. WATCH: The Andrew Klavan Show To investigate further, the Daily Wire dispatched crack reporter Spencer Crack to Hawaii where he entered the Tikki Takki Lounge, quickly downed four Mai Tais, fell to the floor and rolled under a table, in order to interview Kamala Harris, who had gone there to recuperate after her election loss and the following bender. According to a transcript of the interview, Harris told Crack, “Sure, the election didn’t have the result I wanted, with millions of people cheering, ‘Hooray for President Kamala’ … or Camela or com-ALA or however the hell you pronounce it. But I still have the same power, the same energy, even the same underwear, which may account for this terrible urinary infection, or maybe that’s just the booze. Whatever happens, I’ll always be the first female Vice President of the United States and maybe even the last, if anyone was paying attention to how that worked out. And to those who say, No one remembers the losing candidate, I say, oh yeah? What about that guy? The one in the tank. Everyone remembers him. Maybe not his name but that picture was hilarious. So don’t let anyone take your power. Especially after you’ve had a few. Things get blurry and the next thing you know, your power is gone, and you’re lying under a table. Now why don’t you go buy me another Mai Tai. And, while you’re at it, make sure my husband’s gone home. The last time he saw me talking to another man, he left a handprint in my cheek so deep I looked like a second grader’s Playdough project.” While the Democrats’ loss will continue to confound experts for years, many feel it was a simple matter of the wrong candidate. Joe Scarborough of MSNBC said this to his audience, “Excuse me, sir. Before you change the channel, let me just tell you one more thing. Kamala’s candidacy was a complete media fantasy. We told you she had joy. We lied. We told you she was competent. We lied. We told you her VP pick wasn’t a homosexual serial killer. And okay, maybe that was half true. “For every American who is discouraged about the American present and the American future, whatever the reason for that is, it’s time to saddle up, because we’re going to take our country back,” Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts promises.  Roberts made that vow in a discussion with Joshua Treviño, chief transformation officer at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, on this week’s episode of “The Kevin Roberts Show” podcast. Roberts, who previously served as chief executive officer of the TPPF, discussed his new book, “Dawn’s Early Light: Taking Back Washington to Save America.”  For starters, Roberts contended we don’t have a genuine free market in this country. “You only have a free market, for example, if you have good families, a stable society, and a government that reflects those virtues,” he said. “And we don’t have a free market in America today.” Instead, it’s “an utter collusion” between Big Government and Big Business, replete with corporate welfare.  That segued into a discussion of a differentiation between conservatism and libertarianism. “The philosophical shortcoming of American libertarianism is that it’s about the material and it’s about the freedom to do whatever the heck you want,” Roberts said. “The good news is you hit a triple,” he added, drawing an analogy to baseball. “And we’re going to get you home. And home is conservatism, properly understood, with gratitude at the top, which then can be gratitude for both material and nonmaterial things.”  One of the foundational tenets of conservatism is a certain communitarian nature, Roberts said.  “Communitarian in the sense that, before we care about who we’re voting for, we care about one another, we care about our neighbors, we care about community,” he asserted.  The way to undermine the power of Washington is by emphasizing the power of our local communities, the Heritage Foundation chief said.   Roberts later said that if Americans continue to let education in this country deteriorate, all of the policy work will be useless.  “Once we secure that delivery vehicle of universal school choice, we need to make sure that we are regenerating the intellectual tradition that founded this country, because if you don’t do that, you will never understand liberty the way our Founders did,” he said, adding: “You will never understand order the way our Founders did. And it doesn’t require you to subscribe to one religious faith or another. A cat couldn't contain her joy when she was finally taken out of the shelter with her four lookalike kittens. Bianca and her kittensHeidiA cat and her four newborns found themselves at an animal shelter, where the conditions were far from ideal for raising kittens.She was incredibly friendly, greeting every visitor, hoping that someone would take her little family home. When Heidi Shoemaker, founder of Foster Kitten Mama, learned about them, she jumped at the chance to help."Out of over 600 fosters, I've never had a cat with two clear, different-colored eyes (heterochromia)," Heidi shared. HeidiThe mom cat, Bianca, arrived with four "snowflake" kittens, each with a charming little "haircut." They were about one week old when they came into foster care, and some were just starting to open their eyes.After a quick tour of her new surroundings, Bianca settled by her food bowl and began to dig in while Heidi moved the kittens into their new nest. HeidiOverjoyed in her cozy room, she purred loudly as her foster mom cleaned and treated her watery eye.After filling her belly, she lay down with her kittens nestled beside her, feeling content and secure. "I'm so happy she and her littles are here safe and sound." HeidiThe kittens were bursting with energy and had a strong will to live. Even at a young age, they waved their little paws around, vying for the best spot to nurse. "Bianca's babies are very spirited. They are so scrappy."The kittens, with their snowy white coats, closely resemble their mom, except for their adorable "haircuts." One of them sports a different color. AngelinaHeidiAngelina has darker markings on the top of her head, making her stand out among the rest. Despite being the only girl in the litter, she holds her own with her feisty spirit whenever she wrestles with the boys.She was the first to scream for food and attention, clambering over her brothers and even trying to scale the pen. HeidiWhenever Heidi picked up a kitten, she insisted on being next and wouldn't take no for an answer.The kittens soon outgrew their nest, eager for new adventures. With more space to scamper around, they began honing their feline skills and took an interest in their food bowls. HeidiMama Bianca kept a watchful eye on them, making sure they didn't wander too far or get into trouble.Angelina was brave and independent, mastering the litter box on her own, even as her mischievous brother tried to get in her way. At four weeks old, they were finding their footing, mimicking their mom, and getting more boisterous each day. HeidiBianca continues to be the model mother, keeping her kittens impeccably clean, even when all four of them swarm her at once. With the patience of a saint, she dotes on them with unconditional love."I love the way they all gather around her. They are such a happy and playful bunch." HeidiBianca is usually calm and relaxed, but she goes wild for treats. With her kittens weaned and bouncing with energy, she continues caring for them, catering to their every whim.When she finishes raising her last litter, she will be able to focus on herself and become the one who gets spoiled and adored. The votes that she got were people that voted against Trump.” Meanwhile, Trump voters voted for him because they genuinely believe in him — and it didn’t hurt that he didn’t shy away from any challenging interviews. “What the Harris campaign should have done instead of avoiding Joe Rogan and podcasts, it turns out, that Barron Trump, who looks like a runway model, was telling his father, ‘You need to go on podcasts, you need to go on Joe Rogan,’” Morgan explained. “Barron Trump is a lot smarter than everybody in the Harris campaign,” he continued. “Look, if I’m running, I’m going on Joe Rogan, I’m living on Fox. That’s how you changed minds.” “She should go away and never ever come back. She spent almost $2 billion. They’re raising money this week to pay off the debt. If you can’t run your campaign, you damn sure can’t run the country,” he added. Promptly after President Trump’s November 5 victory, business mogul Mark Cuban deleted all his pro-Kamala Harris posts on X (formerly Twitter) — an odd move for a former top campaign surrogate to make. What he cannot delete, however, is his track record of trying to use Harris to regulate his company’s competition away. In fact, he’s escalating his anti-free-market strategy.Cuban participated late last month in a fireside chat at the University of Pennsylvania to explain why he wants the government to regulate pharmacy benefit managers, the companies that businesses (small and large) contract with to negotiate lower drug purchase price costs with Big Pharma.Mark Cuban should follow the rest of Wall Street’s lead, cut his losses, and move on.Kamala Harris’ willingness to take them on appears to have factored considerably into his decision to support her as aggressively as he did. Soon after Cuban talked to Harris about PBMs, her campaign came out with a plan against them. Cuban then began stumping for the Democratic candidate in the battleground states of Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin.But PBMs should not be regulated — nor should they be demonized. If they were so bad, businesses would not voluntarily pay them to lower their prescription drug costs. They continue to hire PBMs because they make things more affordable — lowering Medicare Part D spending by 20%, for example.The true price gougers aren’t PBMs. Drug companies are responsible for 65% of the total list price of our prescriptions, and their relationships with Washington decision-makers have enabled them to raise prices above free-market levels. Mark Cuban’s company, Cost Plus Drugs, also negotiates drug prices as PBMs do, so he would benefit if the government squelches PBMs. In other words, he parrots Big Pharma’s talking points on who to blame because an anti-free-market outcome would help him personally.That’s the problem with Cuban. He relies on political gamesmanship instead of free-market ingenuity to succeed.While he astutely made a lot of money on dot-com businesses in the internet’s infancy, more recently, he has accrued net losses on all his “Shark Tank” deals. Working with Harris and other government officials to wipe PBMs out of the marketplace would ensure that Cost Plus Drugs has a better future than his “Shark Tank” investments — but it would come at the expense of affordable drugs for millions of Americans.That is disturbing when, according to the American Hospital Association:Nearly 30% of Americans say they haven't taken their medication as prescribed due to high drug prices, and it is estimated that more than 1.1 million Medicare patients alone could die over the next decade because they cannot afford to pay for their prescribed medications.If Cuban wants to wipe his support for Harris off the internet, congratulate President Trump, and move on, that’s fine — but he should be doing the same with his failed attempt to push self-serving regulations through the White House, too. Instead, he’s amping up his efforts, and that’s in no one’s interest but his own.Trump won't repeat Harris' mistake. His inner circle knows what's at stake if Cuban achieves his political agenda and won't let it happen. Neither will Congress. Although some lawmakers are pushing anti-PBM regulatory bills before the session ends, Trump loyalists like Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.) are prepared to block them.Pharma’s stock shares have dropped precipitously since Trump’s re-election, signaling that many investors already know this cold, hard truth.Rather than continuing with his self-serving regulatory push, Mark Cuban should follow the rest of Wall Street’s lead, cut his losses, and move on. Maybe even focus on genuine free-market competition rather than legislative bullying. It would be better for all of us.

A middle school teacher was arrested and charged with display of harmful material to minors after several students told police that they saw inappropriate images and videos on his laptop. An arrest affidavit from the Crane Police Department in Texas says police were called to the Crane Middle School on Thursday, Nov. 21, at about 3:27 p.m. over a report that children had seen “nude photos and nude videos” on a teacher's computer. 'This situation arose when students encountered an inappropriate image on the teacher’s personal computer during school hours.' After an investigation, they arrested 68-year-old Lyndell Ray Lee, a 6th grade social studies teacher. Police said student witnesses told them Lee had been “watching girls on his personal computer with both pictures and videos of naked woman [sic]" on Wednesday during their eighth period. They indicated that they saw a “20ish [photos] of women naked leaning against the wall," and that Lee would “would hit the play button on pause when we were in the area.”An arrest warrant was issued Nov. 26, and Lee was arrested on Dec. 2. He was booked into the Crane County Jail. The Crane Independent School District issued a statement on Facebook indicating that Lee had resigned from the school. The Crane Independent School District is deeply concerned about the recent incident involving a teacher who was arrested for the display of harmful materials to minors, a Class A misdemeanor. This situation arose when students encountered an inappropriate image on the teacher’s personal computer during school hours.The district went to say that teachers will receive additional training, apparently to clarify that they are not allowed to watch photos and videos of nude women during classroom time.
