Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, said during an interview that Israel will not risk Iran’s Islamic regime obtaining nuclear weapons, a pledge that it has always had, but has taken on renewed priority after Iran fired nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel this week. Danon made remarks during a CNN interview Wednesday night with Kaitlan Collins on “The Source” when asked about what Israel’s response would be. Danon said that he told the U.N. that Israel’s response would be a “very strong, painful response” that will happen “soon.” “Iran will pay a price for what they did, attacking Israel,” he said. “Ten million Israelis had to run for shelters.
