We tested 200+ robot vacuums, and these are the best ones

Every household has at least one vacuum, and most have two or even more. In addition to an upright or cordless vacuum model, robot vacuums are everywhere these days. That's why the expert product reviewers have tested more than 200 different robot vacuum models over the past decade. In this guide, we'll tell you about all the best robot vacuum models depending on your unique wants and needs. Our top picks Best overall: Narwal Freo X Ultra Best all-in-one: ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 Combo Complete Best for carpets and pet hair: iRobot Roomba s9+ Best cheap model: ILIFE V3s Pro Best mid-range robot vacuum: eufy RoboVac G30 Best robot vacuum with long battery life: roborock Q5 Pro Best cheap robot vacuum and mop: ECOVACS Deebot N8 Pro+ Now that you know which robot vacuum models we chose, it's time to find out what makes them special. Keep reading to check out our mini review of each model so you know exactly why we chose it. 1. Best overall: Narwal Freo X Ultra Narwal Freo X Ultra Rating: 4.5 Stars Exceptional power. Minimal maintenance - Experience the ultimate hands-free cleaning with Freo X Ultra, the intelligent robot vacuum and mop combo. Featuring revolutionary vacuum and mopping technology, it's the perfect companion for pet owners and families with kids. Get spotless floors without lifting a finger from now on. BGR may receive a commission BGR may receive a commission Shop Now Pros: Powerful, long battery life, self-washing mop Cons: Has problems mapping open floor plans, dust bag design isn't great If you want the best of the best, look no further than the Narwal Freo X Ultra. It's expensive, but it's worth it. Beyond the powerful 8,200 Pa of suction, the mopping features might be what I like most about this model. Inside the base station, there are two air-tight tanks as well as a specially-design bottle of floor cleaner. One tank holds clean water, and it automatically refills the internal water tank in the robot. The base station also dispenses a precise amount of floor cleaner each time it refills the robot. When the Freo X Ultra finishes a cleaning task that involves mopping, the base station automatically flushes clean water through the mop pads to clean off dirt and general nastiness. That's where the second tank in the base station comes in. As the mopping pads are cleaned, the dirty water is sucked up into that tank and stored there until it's full. Of note, the dirty water in the second tank really starts to stink after a while. But the tanks in the Narwal Freo X Ultra base station are fantastic, and no odor escapes at all. They also have a terrific zero-drip design that doesn't leak at all when you carry them around. I'm only mentioning the odor so you're not surprised the first time the dirty water tank fills up, and you have to open it to empty it. Once the dual mop pads on the Narwal Freo X Ultra are done being rinsed, the base station uses heat to dry and disinfect them. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Read our in-depth Narwal Freo X Ultra review to learn more about this model. Don't take too long to read it, though, because now is the time to pull the trigger if you plan to get one. With the holidays right around the corner, Narwal is offering a massive discount on the Freo X Ultra that's too good to pass up. It's normally priced at a whopping $1,400, but it's currently on sale at an all-time low price of just $799.99! That's a $600 discount, which is completely unheard of for this model. Narwal Freo X Ultra - Shop Now 2. Best all-in-one: ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 Combo Complete ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 Combo Complete Rating: 4.5 Stars Introducing Our Groundbreaking The world's first robot vacuum & handheld vacuum featuring a dual auto-emptying station. Let the robot vacuum breeze through your daily floor cleaning while you effortlessly tackle other spaces with the handheld vacuum, providing you with a completely new cleaning experience. Say farewell to manual dustbin cleaning and welcome a hands-free, effortless cleaning journey. BGR may receive a commission BGR may receive a commission Shop Now Pros: The last vacuum you'll ever need to buy Cons: Very expensive As the inclusion of "Combo" in the name suggests, the ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 Combo Complete is two systems in one. First, you have the DEEBOT X2 Omni, which is ECOVACS's flagship robot vacuum and mop. This model has all the bells and whistles you can think of. From ultra-strong 8,000Pa suction and AI obstacle avoidance to a built-in mop with mopping pads that automatically wash and dry themselves, all the bases are covered. Then, there's an addition to the base station that you won't find on the regular X2 Omni. On the right side, there's an extra space that stores a totally separate cordless vacuum cleaner. And here's the best part: the cordless vacuum auto-empties in the base station, just like the robot vacuum! What's more, ECOVACS uses an extra large debris bag in the base station so that it can hold up to three months of dirt. This model is awesome, but at $1,699, it's certainly not cheap. That being said, you can often find this model on sale at a discount. ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 Combo Complete - Shop Now 3. Best for carpets and pet hair: iRobot Roomba s9+ iRobot Roomba s9+ Rating: 4 Stars A DEEP, DETAILED CLEAN. Groundbreaking technology makes the s9+ our legacy powerhouse robot vacuum. With 40x more the suction power*, the 3-Stage Cleaning System lifts, loosens, then eliminates debris and pet hair from deep within your carpets for a clean you won’t believe. BGR may receive a commission BGR may receive a commission Shop Now Pros: Empties itself when it's full, works with a smart app Cons: Pricey, brush needs clearing at times There's a reason that the iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most expensive robot vacuums on the market. It can do so much and is terrific for homes that have a lot of carpets. Not only will it clean up after you, but it will also clean up after your pets. This will actually empty itself when it's full and will do so for up to 60 days. This features 40 times the suction power along with three stages of cleaning capabilities in order to lift, loosen, and eliminate the debris. It actually increases its suction when it goes over a carpet, thanks to the power boost technology. There aren't many vacuums smarter than this one, as it has vSLAM navigation to build personal smart maps of your home to remember where it should and shouldn't go. It can be hooked up to voice assistance software to tell it when to start, or it works with the smart app. The Perfect Edge Technology boasts advanced sensors and a specially designed corner brush to clean deep into corners. The 30% wider dual rubber brushes won't get tangled with pet hair. The brushes can need clearing at times if you have more dirt and dust than you realize. It makes sense to check them whenever the vacuum is done. Replacement parts are expensive if you need to replace a brush, so keeping an eye on that may help. It also can be slightly louder than you expected. But we were impressed with how well it cleaned shorter and thicker carpets. You can pick up bundles with replenishment kits and have a clean base bag three-pack. Read our comprehensive Roomba S9+ review to learn more about this model. iRobot Roomba s9+ - Shop Now 4. Best cheap model: ILIFE V3s Pro ILIFE V3s Pro Rating: 4 Stars Fits Pet Owners: With a tangle-free pet hair care suction, V3s Pro Robot Vacuum focuses on picking up hair without tangle; It also tackles dirt, crumbs and debris effectively on hardwood, tile, laminate, stone and low pile carpet. Runtime : 90-100 minutes BGR may receive a commission BGR may receive a commission Shop Now Pros: Affordable, hair won't get tangled Cons: Doesn't handle smart mapping Getting a robot vacuum cleaner for under $200 seems too good to be true, but you'll love the ILIFE V3s Pro Robot Vacuum for the price. It can be set up for weekly cleanings and it will automatically start to clean based on your settings. The app you control it with is simple to use, but there is no smart mapping feature. It features up to 2,000Pa suction with Spot Mode and Max Mode provides 1,400Pa suction. Path Mode fits large spaces cleaning with 700Pa. Edge Mode handles corners and edges of rooms. The dustbin is large, holding up to 750ml and filling up with crumbs, dirt, and dust. This will stay in constant contact with the floor and hair won't cause it to tangle. The full set of sensors lets it avoid bumping into furniture and tumbling down stairs. The four side brushes are instrumental in getting as deep of a clean as it can. It'll run for a while and then recharge itself. It's currently down to a low price as well. ILIFE V3s Pro - Shop Now 5. Best mid-range robot vacuum: eufy RoboVac G30 eufy RoboVac G30 Rating: 4 Stars [BoostIQ Technology] : Automatically increases suction power within 1.5 seconds when extra vacuuming strength is needed[Dynamic Navigation]: Dynamic Navigation 2.0 utilizes Path Tracking Sensors to methodically clean every corner, leaving your space spotless.[2000Pa of Hard-Hitting Suction]: With 2000Pa suction, tackle any mess on any floor type, ideal for pet owners. BGR may receive a commission BGR may receive a commission Shop Now Pros: Smart tracking path sensor, BoostIQ technology Cons: Can be affected by strong sunlight As your robot vacuum moves around your floors, the last thing you want to realize is that it has been stuck somewhere and not actually doing any cleaning. With the eufy RoboVac G30, that won't be an issue. The reasons are two-fold because this features a smart tracking path sensor with Smart Dynamic Navigation 2.0 to get the most direct and efficient path to cleaning your home. This means that it won't just pick a random path to go over and it will map out your home. It boasts 2,000Pa of hard-hitting suction. This ensures more debris is picked up across all surfaces. The second part features BoostIQ technology to automatically increase suction power if it's stuck. This will recognize within 1.5 seconds that it needs extra vacuuming strength and immediately deliver that. This allows it to go the extra mile to suck up what you need it to. It is compatible with hard floorings as well as carpets. There is also drop-sensing technology that will make sure it won't take a tumble down the stairs. It can become affected by strong sunlight on the sensors, so you should take that into consideration with the rooms it is cleaning. You may want to schedule it for different times if a room is particularly sunny at a specific hour of the day. This model will remember what area it cleaned so that it can clean that area again the next time you use it. There are also helpful prompts you can utilize to get the most out of the vacuum. All in all, we loved the cleaning ability and smart features of this robot vacuum. eufy RoboVac G30 - Shop Now 6. Best robot vacuum with long battery life: roborock Q5 Pro roborock Q5 Pro Rating: 4 Stars Applying Roborock‘s latest DuoRoller Brush technology and thanks to 5500 Pa extreme suction power, the Q5 Pro effectively removes dirt from different types of floors and achieves deeper cleaning on carpets(open the Carpet Boost feature in App), improving hair pickup rate while ensuring less tangling. It is an ideal choice for pet families. BGR may receive a commission BGR may receive a commission Shop Now Pros: 240 minutes of battery life, utilizes 5,500PA of suction with automatic carpet boost, 770ml dust bin Cons: Doesn't learn from previous runs, can get tangled on power cords If you want a robot vacuum that can clean your entire home in one pass, the roborock Q5 Pro is a terrific option. It offers a whopping 240 minutes of cleaning without needing to return to the base station to charge. That's 4 hours! Unless you live in a sprawling mansion, this model will last long enough to finish any job. Another great thing about the Q5 Pro is how long it can go without being emptied. That's because it has a 770ml dust bin that stores more debris, meaning it can be emptied less often. This moves 10% faster than previous models, giving you a shorter usage time. It routes out your home in a Z-shape pattern to clean it more quickly and efficiently. Intelligent navigation helps it work its way through areas it hasn't been yet. This utilizes 5,500Pa of suction with an automatic carpet boost to get those annoying hairs dislodged from the carpet and into the vacuum. That's an 11% increase from older roborock models. If you have this charged up to 100%, it will run long enough to cover your entire house. The battery is huge, and you can control the device from your smartphone. You can set this up with a mopping system as well as an upgrade. The robot vacuum can get stuck and doesn't learn from the previous runs. You will also have to clear the floor of any cables, as they might get stuck in the vacuum. roborock Q5 Pro - Shop Now 7. Best cheap robot vacuum and mop: ECOVACS Deebot N8 Pro+ ECOVACS Deebot N8 Pro+ Rating: 4 Stars 30-Day HANDS-FREE CLEANING WITH SELF-EMPTY STATION. ECOVACS DEEBOT N8 Proplus self emptying robot vacuum automatically empties its dustbin after cleaning. The station’s disposable dust bag holds up to months of dirt and debris. (1 Spare Dust Bag Included). BGR may receive a commission BGR may receive a commission Shop Now Pros: Self-emptying, avoids objects on the floor Cons: Battery can run out in the middle of a job Give yourself the dual power of cleaning and mopping with the ECOVACS Deebot N8 Pro+. This delivers 30 days of dirt and debris and will empty it out when it's full. This model boasts 2600Pa of suction to draw out dirt and dust. It's not the most powerful robot vacuum model on our list, but it's still strong enough for most jobs. With TRUEDETECT, a 3D-based technology that lets it detect and avoid objects, you won't have to move stuff around if you forget. Mapping out the room and choosing a floor plan is simple, thanks to the LiDAR navigation with aerospace-standard object detection systems. This model will vacuum and mop all in one go. It automatically avoids carpets when mopping hard floors. Also, it will double the suction power when vacuuming carpets. While there is a 110 runtime that is found more often than not, sometimes it does not make it the whole time. It will automatically recharge and resume where it left off. ECOVACS Deebot N8 Pro+ - Shop Now Are these vacuums worth it? The short answer is: yes. For busy families or people who don't like cleaning, these are a smart investment. It also depends on how much you use them. Which brand is the best? There are plenty that are worthy. Roborock, iRobot Roomba, Ecovacs, and Eufy are all top brands. Do they make a lot of noise? They are generally quiet because if they weren't, people wouldn't buy them. They are better in terms of noise than handheld or stick vacuums. Why should you trust us? Nobody likes to have crumbs, dust, and dirt in their home. But it's also impossible to always keep track of all of the stuff that may have fallen on your floors. Plus, who has the time to vacuum constantly? What you need is a helping hand in your house to clean for you when you're off doing something else. A robot vacuum is a perfect solution for anyone who wants to keep their home in the best shape possible without having to commit to always cleaning. While you may not get the same level of clean on a carpet that you may get with an upright vacuum, robot vacuums tend to be great for pet hair and dust bunnies. Plus, they can cover the area as you chill or are doing other things around the house. There are even some that will empty themselves when they get full, giving you more flexibility in when to use them. Rather than having to use a handheld vacuum for your small messes, a robot vacuum can really help you out. We've tested hundreds of the best robot vacuums to give you the best breakdowns of which ones have the best features and which ones could best fit your situation. The expert product reviewers at BGR have been doing this for more than a decade now, so you can trust that we have the expertise to find the best robot vacuum models for every need. ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Sadie Robertson Speaks Out After Phil Robertson’s Alzheimer’s Diagnosis

Sadie Robertson has taken to social media to discuss her grandfather Phil Robertson’s recent health update, which her uncle Jase Robertson announced last week. Jase disclosed that the Duck Dynasty star was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease, Sadie admitted that the news of her grandfather’s health challenges going viral makes it feel even more real and overwhelming. “I’m genuinely so thankful my family chose to make our life public because of how incredible it is that so many people know my grandpa!” she said, choosing to look on the bright side. Phil Robertson is reportedly struggling with Alzheimer’s alongside blood disease             View this post on Instagram                         A post shared by Sadie Robertson Huff (@legitsadierob)   The news of Phil Robertson’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis came on the first day of December when Jase mentioned on an episode of the Unashamed with the Robertson Family podcast that his father now has Alzheimer’s despite struggling with blood disease for a while. Jase revealed that the 78-year-old is in constant pain and can hardly walk. He assured that some days get easier than others, but doctors have ruled that there is no known cure for Phil’s condition, which can only be managed. Phil Robertson/Everett Phil Robertson wants to get back to work amid Alzheimer’s diagnosis Phil Robertson is hopeful about getting back to work; however, his inability to sit down and have a proper conversation may get in the way of his ever returning to the family podcast. He cannot go duck hunting either, which tells Duck Dynasty fans everything they need to know about how bad his situation is. Sadie Robertson/Instagram Sadie and the rest of the family are focused on making the home more comfortable for their patriarch, whose teams of doctors are on standby to follow up on him. “Sad for the days we are in, but grateful for the days we’ve had. Keeping the memories alive…” Sadie wrote in the concluding parts of her tribute to Phil Robertson.
