My Chemical Romance’s “‘Long Live’: The Black Parade 2025 North American Stadium Tour” has sold 365,000 tickets within hours. “The Black Parade;” released in ’06, was the band’s third studio album. Produced by Rob Cavallo (Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day), the Rock opera/concept album tells the story of “The Patient” and his experiences in the afterlife, and subsequent reflections on his life. “The Black Parade” debuted at #2 in the United States on sales of 240,000 copies. The tour kicks off July 11th in Seattle. Each tour stop will feature a different special guest including Garbage, Alice Cooper, Pixies and Devo. Singer, songwriter, producer Devin Townsend has announced a North American headline tour to launch in May 2025. The trek includes an appearance at Milwaukee Metal Fest May 17th. Townsend’s twenty-second and latest studio album, “PowerNerd,” dropped late last month. “”I would say that a ‘PowerNerd’ would be somebody that has a tendency that society has deemed weak or not valuable, whether that’s empathy or being an insular person or an introvert and turns that into a type of personal power.” General on-sale will be Friday, November 22nd at 10 a.m. local time.
