Saturday Night Live: Was It Actually FUNNY Again?

Saturday Night Live is coming dangerously close to being actually funny again — in a reliable way. All it takes is ditching the preachy identity politics and just going for what’s funny! Dana Carvey has contributed his fair share, bringing a spot on impression of Joe Biden that actually makes me sad Joe Biden will soon be going away. “Come on!  I’m being serious here!” I haven’t watched SNL in YEARS, but ever since I started watching the Trump/Biden skits on SNL around the 2024 election, the YouTube algorithm has been suggesting other clips for me to watch…. You know how that goes I’m sure. And so I’ve clicked in to watch a few, and I have to say I discovered a new star. Someone who is legitimately funny and wildly talented. I haven’t usually found the women on SNL to be very funny over the years. I know people loved Tina Fey and Amy Pohler, but I just never found them funny, I didn’t get it. I also didn’t think Molly Shannon was very funny….smelling you armpits is funny?  I didn’t get it. But I was blown away as I started watching a few clips to find out there has been someone one SNL with incredible talent: Kate McKinnon. Holy crap!! I have no doubt that she probably doesn’t align with any of my world views, I would guess she’s probably a pretty deep Liberal, but that doesn’t come out in her skits. What does come out is just pure, raw talent and…..FUNNY! Funny is funny, I don’t care who you are or where you come from. You either have it or you don’t, and she has it. These “Close Encounter” skits had my dying as I watched through each and every one: And her impression of Ellen is eerily uncanny: So I have to say a massive kudos to Kate McKinnon who is LEGIT funny! I had no idea…. But now let’s get back to politics because I want to show you the Cold Open last night with “Trump and Biden”. And I gotta say, for the most part this was just….funny! Poking fun at both sides and just finding funny jokes, not trying to push a Far-Left ideology! See what you think: The low point though, was probably bringing Alec Baldwin back as RFK Jr. Let’s just say most people online didn’t find his jokes amusing: Well I don’t know anything about a dead dolphin in RFK Jr. car but I do know about a dead woman Alec Baldwin shot to death. https://t.co/ldRNgI0smr — Alex Jones (@RealAlexJones) November 17, 2024 Alec Baldwin, the actor who murdered a woman and got away with it, appeared on SNL last night, disheveled and drunk and with his fly open #Classy pic.twitter.com/5ugUMWTm42 — Jeff Adams (@JeffAdams82) November 17, 2024 Anyway, let me know what you think…. Is SNL funny again? Or getting close to it? Here was last week: FUNNY? Dana Carvey Returns To “SNL” Playing a New Character

BREAKING: Joe Biden Just Opened Up WW3 Missile Strikes Into Russia!

Heads up folks…. As I’ve warned you many times, I don’t think this Biden Regime or Deep State is going to go quietly off into the night after President Trump won the election. I think they’re going to absolutely wreck the place on the way out, with the goal being to make things so bad and so chaotic that it throws President Trump off course. Here’s the latest: HOLY SHIT, BIDEN ISN’T HOLDING BACK. With just two months left in office, he’s giving Ukraine the green light to hit Russia directly with U.S.-made ATACMS missiles. This marks the first time Ukraine’s been authorized to defend its forces in Russian territory, including the… — Brian Allen (@allenanalysis) November 17, 2024 Until now, this has not been on the table, but Joe Biden is now giving Ukraine US-made ATACMS missiles tos strike deep into Russia. This is NOT good. And if you needed proof that this is not good, here is Alex Soros literally cheering this as “Great News”: This is great news! https://t.co/RA4jD4w4ZR — Alex Soros (@AlexanderSoros) November 17, 2024 You can’t make this stuff up folks! That’s his real account, not a parody. More here: After giving OK by Joe Biden “Ukraine plans to launch United States Long Range ATACMS missiles in the coming days.” – Reuters. Reminder of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plan to respond. We need Donald Trump to stop World War 3. Nothing is worth WWIII. pic.twitter.com/eoOU13Hthm — SputnikSpreader (@VasBroughtToX) November 17, 2024 And from CNN: President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use powerful long-range American weapons inside Russia, according to two US officials familiar with the decision, as North Korean troops deploy in support of Moscow’s effort. The decision comes as Moscow has deployed nearly 50,000 troops to Kursk, the southern Russian region where Kyiv launched its surprise counteroffensive in the summer, to prepare to take back territory. The weapons are intended to be used primarily in Kursk for now, a US official said. With its huge troop amassment there, Russia is trying to take Kursk off the table as a potential bargaining chip for the Ukrainians in any future peace talks, something that the US does not want to see. The idea is to help Ukraine hold on to Kursk for as long as possible, the official said. Thousands of North Korean troops have deployed to Kursk as part of Russia’s offensive, sparking concern from Biden and his advisers that their entry could lead to a dangerous new phase in the war. The decision to allow the use of the Army Tactical Missile Systems, or ATACMS, inside Russia had been under consideration for months. American officials had been divided on the wisdom of allowing the new capability. Some had concerns about escalating the war, while others worried about dwindling stockpiles of the weapons. The US refused to even provide ATACMS to Ukraine for the first two years of the war, in part because of readiness concerns as the powerful missiles require time and complex components to produce. But Biden secretly approved the transfer of the long-range ATACMS missiles in February for use inside Ukrainian territory, and the US delivered the missiles in April. Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky had been pressing Washington to allow use of the weapons inside Russia, too, arguing he needed the capability to gain momentum in his war effort. When Biden and Zelensky last met at the White House in September, the Ukrainian leader came with a detailed list of targets inside Russia that he wanted to hit with US-provided long-range missiles, according to sources familiar with the meeting. The list was a key part of Zelensky’s “victory plan” for winning the war. Biden, who nearly three years into the war had prohibited the Ukrainians from deploying the missile systems for deep strikes into Russia, was not entirely dismissive of the request, the sources said. But he was ultimately noncommittal, and the leaders agreed to keep discussing the issue. Zelensky responded to the news Sunday, saying on Telegram, “Missiles will speak for themselves.” “Today, there is a lot of talk in the media about us receiving a permit for respective actions. Hits are not made with words. Such things don’t need announcements. Missiles will speak for themselves,” he said. President Vladimir Putin in September warned the West that Russia could use nuclear weapons if it was struck with conventional missiles, and that Moscow would consider any assault supported by a nuclear power to be a joint attack. The declaration was the Kremlin’s answer to deliberations at the time in the US and Britain about whether to give Ukraine permission to fire conventional Western missiles into Russia. For months, US officials provided a litany of reasons why changing the policy would not make a substantial difference. Chief among those was the limited supply of ATACMS that Kyiv had received from the Biden administration, a finite stockpile that could not be quickly replenished because of the long lead time on producing the advanced missiles. US officials also argued that Ukraine has its own burgeoning drone industry that is able to manufacture one-way attack drones with longer ranges than ATACMS. The approximate 200-mile range of the US long-range missiles was not far enough to inflict substantive damage on one of the most important targets: the Russian aircraft launching powerful long-range glide bombs that have devastated Ukrainian targets. One US official estimated that 90% of those aircraft were outside the range of ATACMS, as Russia pulled key targets farther from the front line. The Biden administration had rebuffed Ukraine’s requests to change its position on the long-range missiles, but like so many other ostensibly rigid policies established over nearly three years of war — including on Patriot missiles, Abrams tanks and F-16 fighter jets — the White House ultimately relented It’s unclear whether the administration will provide more ATACMS to Ukraine with the $7.1 billion remaining in Presidential Drawdown Authority, which allows the military to pull stocks directly from US inventories to send to Kyiv, or whether the policy will apply only to the relatively few missiles that Ukraine still has. It’s a complex issue and can be hard to explain. If you learn better by video, I think this explains it the best I have seen from anyone: FULL TRANSCRIPT: Kevin “MeetKevin” Paffrath: Oh no, no, no, no, no. I really, really wish this were clickbait, but we are now getting substantially closer to World War III, and this was not on my bingo card today. My bingo card today was: look at real estate, look at more real estate, and look at more real estate—not this. The United States is now lifting the final restrictions for weapons to be supplied to Ukraine, and this risks substantial escalation. We could be looking at, just like how Israel strikes Hamas or Hezbollah, Ukraine striking deep into Russia—specifically the K region. We’ll talk about that in just a moment, but I want you to know about this. We need to start with politics, and then I want to talk details: missiles, weapons, destruction, and the battlefield. Donald Trump is expected to force a negotiated settlement between Zelenskyy and Putin. Donald Trump is considered to be willing to talk to Putin—he said it himself. Putin has said he’s willing to talk to Trump and negotiate a deal. Donald Trump has suggested, “Let’s just freeze the borders where they are now, come up with a negotiated settlement where there’s a buffer zone between the two, and end the war within 24 hours.” We don’t have all of the specific details, but obviously, ending the loss of life and the spending on killing is generally deemed to be a good idea. Of course, Ukrainians say, “Wait a minute. We’re giving up our territory here.” We’re really talking about 1 to 2% likely, but it’s still considered their territory. Of course, Russians argue, “No, it’s ours. It’s always been ours.” I’m not going to get into the history of this, but what really accelerated this drama are two things: Donald Trump winning potentially means the end to the endless supplying by the United States, the Biden Administration, Emmanuel Macron, the Germans, and many within Europe or around the world to continuing to bolster Ukraine without any hope of negotiating. In fact, when we look back into 2022, there were peace deals written and then torn up—potentially by our administration—purposely to keep the proxy war against Russia going. Think about this for a moment. Kevin “MeetKevin” Paffrath: It’s strategic for multiple reasons. Number one, you prop up Lockheed Martin, whom we’re going to talk about in just a moment because Lockheed Martin supplies some of the weapons systems that we’re going to be discussing. But other than that—I’ll look into their stock, it’s probably already propped up—there’s also the political lobbying that the Biden Administration has received. All politicians get a lot of war money that comes to them. This is why they’re sometimes called “neocons.” What’s really added fuel to this fire is Donald Trump winning because it seems like, oh my gosh, Ukraine might only have two months left to win the war. That’s a fear that people have. What are we? Mid-November right now. Inauguration? Third week of January. You’ve got two months left during the cold of winter—some of the harshest war months. At the same time, now you have not only Russia getting more aggressive—probably because of this win—but also Russia increasing their drone strikes and missile strikes inside Ukraine. Ukraine thought, “Maybe if we go attack Russia and catch them flat-footed in their own territory, we’ll stop their progression against us.” So, they attacked the Russian K oblast. Guess what? It’s done nothing. Russia has continued to attack; if anything, they’ve escalated their attacks inside Ukraine. We are now approaching the 1,000th day of this war. Kevin “MeetKevin” Paffrath: Speaking of thousands, North Korea is now potentially thinking of sending 100,000 troops to fight in Russia against Ukraine. Probably first to mop up the K oblast region, and then to actually potentially enter Ukraine. This is why the Biden Administration is also now thinking, “Okay, well maybe if we strike deeper into Russia, we could prevent some of this.” The Biden Administration has specifically said they will send as much aid as possible prior to the Trump inauguration. We already know that Musk and Trump together want to solve this problem so we can make deals with the Russians. Now, I’m not trying to say anything bad about Trump or Musk or Biden or whatever. I’m just trying to give you the information. We know that both Donald Trump and Elon Musk are willing to work out deals with China and Russia. And there are reportings—obviously, we can’t say we know this—but there are reportings that potentially Putin asked Elon Musk, “Hey, would you mind not enabling Starlink over Taiwan?” This is listed as “coming soon” on your SpaceX website for Starlink. And, you know, that’ll really help my friend Xi Jinping out. Kevin “MeetKevin” Paffrath: Now, a lot of connections here on both sides. Again, I’m not imparting an opinion, but it’s freaking the Biden Administration out. So, consider this. I want to talk about some of these weapons here for a moment because there are a lot of people worried that we’re knocking on the door of World War III. I’m not trying to be hyperbolic here—it’s a problem. The United States is considering approving the ATACMS systems. These are the Army Tactical Missile Systems. They are surface-to-surface precision strike missile launchers. They are similar—well, I mean they could be—the ATACMS system can be launched from like a HIMARS or an MLRS. Remember, that’s the Multiple Launch Rocket System or the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System. What’s very important about these weapons is that they are more advanced than what Ukraine has now. They have HIMARS systems, but they have them for defense—to shoot down missiles like ballistic missiles or to shoot down enemy fighter jets. Kevin “MeetKevin” Paffrath: …to at least give them a chance of some regional air superiority. That way, the F-16s the United States has supplied don’t all crash and get destroyed. But what happens is when you now load up the HIMARS, which we’ve already given to Ukraine, with precision strike GPS-guided ballistic missiles, you are giving Ukraine the opportunity to strike command centers, air defense systems, barracks—you name it—anywhere between 86 to 200 miles deeper into Russia than the forward flanks of the Ukrainian military. This now allows Ukraine to take a lot more land a lot faster. Now, what does that potentially mean? Well, it potentially means North Korea is going to run out there a little faster. And if North Korea runs out there a little faster, we start escalating war pretty quickly, especially since North Korea is supplying ammunition—they’ve already been supplying ammunition to Russia. Iran, who’s all in cahoots with this, of course, has been supplying drone equipment and actually just mass manufacturing drones for Russia. Think about this: we’ve seen so many videos of drone warfare, of these various different countries fighting each other. But now we are going from this drone warfare of “try to attack and kill individuals” to precision strikes, much like Israel does against Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. Kevin “MeetKevin” Paffrath: Precision strike missiles are a game changer. Now remember, ballistic missiles are missiles that you power for really the first phase of flight—about the first 30 to maybe 50%—and then they’re sort of on a trajectory. They’re called “ballistic” because you have an arc, kind of like bullets have an arc. Even though it seems like they don’t, they do. Anyway, that’s different from certain types of missiles which are powered all the way until they impact. The Biden Administration has stated that if North Korea gets involved with this fight and they bring troops to Russia, then North Korean troops would at that point be fair game. In other words, fair game to kill and attack. This now means Ukraine is not just fighting Russia backed by the United States; it means Ukraine, backed by the United States, is just a proxy. This is a proxy war. You fund and supply somebody else to fight your war for you to weaken your enemy. You want to weaken Russia, cause problems, fund Ukraine, let them do the dirty work for you. Ukrainians lose their lives—no American boots on the ground, they say. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Kevin “MeetKevin” Paffrath: Okay, so now what you’re doing is continuing a proxy war not just against Russia but also against North Korea, which is also against Iran and China. So now you have China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia versus the EU, England, Great Britain, the United States, and Ukraine—probably with Japan and Taiwan. This is also how you connect the Taiwanese invasion. Because if the United States pushes Russia too hard through its proxies—Ukrainians—then China could cause some problems in Taiwan. Taiwan’s already been restricted from Starlink—not that I think that would make too much of a strategic difference—but you can already see how they’re trying to prep this “all angles” limitation. Remember, Starlink was deployed to help the Ukrainians. “Hey Musk, would you mind putting a few less satellites out and maybe not bringing those satellites online yet over in Taiwan? You know, that would really be a great favor for us. You’re a smart man, Elon.” They’re playing him like a puppet. Kevin “MeetKevin” Paffrath: This is scary, folks. This is scarier. These short-range ballistic missiles will change things. Offensive ballistic missiles—surface-to-surface missiles—will change warfare in Ukraine, specifically against Russia. It will deepen the pain in Russia, which will lead to more of a lash out from Russia than is already happening, and more of a lash out from their allies, who will now probably get deployed more rapidly. We could be in World War III before the inauguration. Then we will be in World War III and a recession. If there is not any more of a reason to get you to go to MeetKevin.com/life, I don’t know what there is. MeetKevin.com/life—a partner of the channel. Life insurance. You can get it in as little as five minutes. Apple Pay. Android Pay. Lauren and I have it. Honestly, this is starting to not seem good.

Fetterman Defends Democrats Counting Invalid Votes In PA Senate Race

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) defended Pennsylvania election officials ignoring a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling by counting votes that the court said were invalid. Fetterman made the remarks unchallenged during a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” with host Jake Tapper. “Your colleague Senator Bob Casey, who was up for reelection, there’s a commonwealth-mandated recount going on right now because it was so close,” Tapper said. “Democratic officials in at least one key county, Bucks County, voted to count about 115 provisional ballots that are missing a signature, despite the Pennsylvania Supreme Court previously ruling that those are invalid.” A Democratic Bucks County official justified her actions by saying: “I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country and people violate laws any time they want. So, for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.” Tapper noted that even The Washington Post Editorial Board said that the move by Democrats in the state was “corrosive to democracy” and that “county officials do not get to decide whether a legal requirement is material and must be followed. Courts do and they have spoken clearly.” When asked about Democrats defying court orders and counting invalid ballots, Fetterman suggested that it was not a big deal. “I think you just pointed out that it refers to about 115 ballots, and that’s not going to have an impact on this race at this point,” he said, before immediately contradicting himself by saying: “Where we are now, it’s very, very close.” “And I guarantee you, if Dave McCormick were in the opposite situation, where he was down 15,000 to 17,000 votes, he would absolutely want to have every last vote counted as well too,” he continued. Trump Put Brendan Carr On The FCC, Now He’s Promoting Him To Chairman

President-elect Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he has selected Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Brendan Carr to be the chairman of the FCC. “Commissioner Carr currently serves as the senior Republican on the FCC,” Trump said. “Before that, he was the FCC’s General Counsel. I first nominated Commissioner Carr to the FCC in 2017, and he has been confirmed unanimously by the United States Senate three times.” “His current term runs through 2029 and, because of his great work, I will now be designating him as permanent Chairman,” he added. Carr responded to the appointment with a statement on X: “Thank you, President Trump!” “I am humbled and honored to serve as Chairman of the FCC,” he said. “Now we get to work.” Former FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, to whom Carr served as an advisor at the FCC, applauded Trump’s pick. “Congratulations to my friend and former @FCC colleague @BrendanCarrFCC!” Pai said in a statement. “He was a brilliant advisor and General Counsel and has been a superb Commissioner, and I’m confident he will be a great FCC Chairman,” he added. “Best wishes leading the agency!” Carr earned his J.D. Magna Cum Laude from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, the Trump transition team said. “Earlier in his career, Commissioner Carr worked as an attorney specializing in Appellate, Litigation, and Regulatory matters,” the statement said. “Previously, Commissioner Carr clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit for Judge Dennis Shedd.” Carr announced in a statement late last week that he was taking on four major Big Tech companies for their involvement in an alleged “censorship cartel” that he says targeted Americans for promoting narratives that the companies did not agree with. Carr sent letters to Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, and Apple CEO Tim Cook requesting that they provide the FCC with information pertaining to NewsGuard — a left-wing organization that has played a role in targeting conservatives online. “Over the past few years, Americans have lived through an unprecedented surge in censorship,” Carr said in his letter. “Your companies played significant roles in this improper conduct. Big Tech companies silenced Americans for doing nothing more than exercising their First Amendment rights.” Carr said that the companies worked with so-called “media monitors” to censor speech involving politics, science, and religion. The companies worked to “defund, demonetize, and otherwise put out of business news outlets and organizations that dared to deviate from an approved narrative,” Carr said. Carr said that various congressional investigations and news reports showed the companies operated this “censorship cartel” with the help of Biden-Harris administration. The letter said: The relevant conduct extended from removing or blocking social media posts to labeling whole websites or apps as ‘untrustworthy’ or ‘high-risk’ in an apparent effort to suppress their information and viewpoints, including through efforts to delist them, lower their rankings, or harm their profitability. This censorship cartel is an affront to Americans’ constitutional freedoms and must be completely dismantled. Americans must be able to reclaim their right to free speech. Indeed, our democracy depends on freedom of expression. Carr said that the incoming Trump administration and Republican-controlled Congress would be taking a close look at the companies’ actions. He requested information about their work with NewsGuard, a for-profit company that bills itself as the Internet’s arbiter of truth by “rat[ing] the credibility of news and information outlets and tell[ing] readers and advertisers which outlets they can trust.” He noted that congressional investigations have found that NewsGuard selects “winner and losers in the news media space” by using its partnerships with advertising agencies to censor targeted outlets. The letter said that NewsGuard’s own track record was a serious problem, for example rating “official propaganda from the Communist Party of China as more credible than American publications.” NewsGuard also has on its advisory board at least one person who “signed the now infamous October 2020 letter from former intelligence community officials that flamed the false claim that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation — a letter that itself fueled a wave of censorship.” Carr said that the companies had until December 10 to provide information to the FCC about all of their products and services that use or enable their customers to use NewsGuard.

Sen. Markwayne Mullin SCHOOLS NBC’s Welker on 'Controversial' Cabinet Picks

The Regime Media made it their focus to controversialize the Trump cabinet picks on their Sunday Political affairs shows, with results that are mixed at best. Over on NBC’s Meet the Depressed, host Kristen Welker tried that approach and failed badly. Watch as Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) takes Welker to school over the Regime Media’s coverage of controversial picks made by President Joe Biden: NBC MEET THE PRESS 11/17/24 10:16 AM KRISTEN WELKER: Let's talk about President Elect Trump's pick for HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Of course, he has said he believes that no vaccine is safe and effective. You have been on the record defending the efficacy of vaccines. Are RFK's views on vaccines a deal breaker for you, Senator? MARKWAYNE MULLIN: No. I absolutely -- appreciate Bobby Kennedy taking a hard look at the vaccine. There's some questions that have to be made. And I appreciate some of the scrutiny that's going through there. I think Bobby can answer all those. I’ve had multiple conversations with him- I have sat down and had -- long conversations with him and I actually find the guy extremely intelligent when it comes to this stuff. And some of the stuff does raise a lot of questions but I do got a question for you. The Democrats are spending so much time talking about the scrutiny of President Trump's picks and yet, we didn't spend -- spend this amount of time scrutinizing Biden's pick? I mean, we can talk about Rachel, the Assistant Secretary of HHS. I think that's a pretty controversial pick from whatever pronoun he or she decides to use. We talk about Sam, the assistant secretary for -- or executive underneath Energy of -- the Secretary of Energy and the individual was -- was arrested multiple times for stealing luggage off of conveyor belts inside airports. ANd I didn't see this same type of scrutiny the Democrats used on these individuals' picks. There's been a lot of picks. I mean, we can talk about Pete Buttigieg.  WELKER: Wait. Hold on. Senator, let’s   MULLIN: Is he really qualified to lead the Department of Transportation? But I don’t see the same people giving the scrutiny here.  WELKER: Let’s- we…we scrutinized all of those picks robustly.  One of the narratives around the Trump Cabinet picks, certainly the unconventional ones, centers around qualifications and experience. Welker tried to run this play while discussing the Kennedy nomination to HHS. Mullin, the former MMA fighter, stuffed it like it was a single-leg takedown. Welker was left sputtering after Mullin cited the examples of Assistant HHS Secretary Rachel Levine and Sam Brinton, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy. Contrary to her claims, there was no scrutiny of these administration picks, certainly none equivalent to what we are seeing with these Trump picks. It is worth noting that media scrutiny of Kennedy is focused on his stances on vaccines, while completely ignoring his positions on food safety, which are the centerpiece of the Make America Healthy Again campaign. Time spent trying to gotcha GOP members of Congress on vaccines is time spent away from FD&C Yellow #5, Red #40, and seed oils.  Mullin caught this, exposed this, and turned the tables on Welker. Allowing the media to impose its narrative is a choice. Now, more than ever.
