They Took in Stray Cat and Seven Kittens, Next Day the Cat Showed Them Gratitude in Most Touching Way

They took in a stray cat and her seven kittens. The next day, the cat showed them gratitude in the most touching way. Peach Poptart and her kittensEllenRichterWhile caring for community cats and working to bring them to safety, a family discovered a stray cat with her seven newborn kittens.Knowing they needed a safe place, the family contacted their local animal rescue, Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions. Ellen Richter, a foster volunteer, immediately responded and went to pick up the feline family. She carefully loaded the momma cat and her babies into her car, starting their new journey to a foster home. EllenRichterThe mom was understandably nervous during the car ride. She meowed anxiously, her wary eyes darting around.Ellen prepared a cozy space for the cat and her kittens, layering it with soft blankets for extra comfort. Though shy at first, the cat didn't try to hide, staying close to her kittens, who were fast asleep in a cuddle puddle. EllenRichterEllen noticed that whenever she spoke softly to the cat, Peach Poptart, her face would relax as if soothed by the sound of her voice. She kept talking until Peach felt comfortable enough to lie on her side, offering her belly for her kittens to nurse. That night, Peach slept with a full belly, her precious seven nestled against her, basking in warmth and comfort. EllenRichter"Mama is feeling very comfortable, relaxed and calm. She has two dilute torties, two calicos, one tortoiseshell, an orange baby, and one orange and white."The worries in her eyes melted away, replaced by a calm, contented look. EllenRichterPeach lavishes her kittens with unconditional love. "They are all plump and healthy."Raising a litter of seven is no small feat, so Ellen has been supplementing to give Peach some well-deserved rest. Whenever she enters the room, she's greeted by Peach's rumbling purrs as the mama blissfully kneads her blanket. EllenRichterFor the first day, Peach didn't leave her kittens, not even to eat, so Ellen brought the food to her. With a comfy nest and food-in-bed service all day, Peach grew fond of her foster mom and started greeting her with adorable meows.Once Ellen sat down, she'd come over, nuzzling her hand and flopping onto her arm. EllenRichterWhile the kittens snoozed in a cozy pile, Peach rested her head on Ellen's hand, her loud purrs filling the room. After roaming the streets for likely most of her life, she's so thankful for a roof over her head, nourishing meals, and the affection of a caring human. In just a few days, Peach has blossomed into a real snuggle bug. EllenRichterShe loves to lean into her foster mom, using her hand as a pillow while kneading the blanket beside her. She often gazes up to Ellen, her eyes brimming with affection as she makes biscuits.Though already a mom, Peach is still a baby at heart and can't wait to romp around like a kitten again once she's finished raising her last litter. EllenRichterAs the kittens get bigger and stronger, their curious, playful sides will emerge. They have a doting mother tending to their every need and a loving family ensuring their future is bright."Most of the kittens have their eyes open. They are growing so fast." EllenRichterPeach is reveling in her new life as an indoor cat, surrounded by her precious seven.Once she realized she was safe, her true personality came out, melting the hearts of everyone she touched. Laura Ingraham Targets Climate Cult: Environmental Radicals ‘Want to Control Your Life’

Fox News host Laura Ingraham went on a tear against the radicals at the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29), raising the alarm about the threat they pose and the need for a national U-turn under President-elect Donald Trump.  In Wednesday’s episode of the Ingraham Angle, Ingraham warned that an actual goal of the climate change cult was to “control your life including what's on your menu,” while showing videos of conference speakers spouting leftist pieties and denouncing meat and dairy consumption. Ingraham spoke to Center for Industrial Progress Founder Alex Epstein about the appalling agenda of the net zero left in America and aboard.  [Story Continues on MRC Free Speech America]

CBS Frets Palestinians Are Scared of Trump’s Israeli Ambassador Pick Huckabee

Continuing their not-so-veiled attempt at over-compensating in favor of Palestinians, CBS used Thursday’s CBS Evening News and Friday’s CBS Mornings to kvetch about President-Elect Trump selecting former Arkansas Governor and two-time GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee as his choice for U.S. Ambassador to Israel. CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell commenced the fretting: “Let’s turn now to the Middle East, where the incoming Trump administration has signaled it may be open to Israeli annexation of the West Bank, which most of the international community considers to be Palestinian territory. And in that disputed region, one of Trump’s Cabinet members is eliciting strong reactions from both sides.”     Foreign correspondent Elizabeth Palmer lamented the “violent year in the West Bank” with “Israeli soldiers pursu[ing] militants in residential areas, and Jewish settlers carry[ing] out attacks on Palestinians” would worsen with Huckabee’s “radical views.” All told, she kvetched his comments about Palestinians has them “deeply worried” and ran to Palestinian politician and anti-Isarel TV talking head Mustafa Barghouti to insist it’s Jews who need to give Palestinians “peace” because, “if they try to displace us, we will resist.” “Drive around the occupied West Bank, and you can see the Jewish settlements encroaching on what’s been Palestinian land. Right- wingers in the government believe it’s all Israel’s anyway and hope Trump will help them take it. That would be illegal under international law,” she said. Citing the recent death of a 11-year-old Palestinian boy, she warned Trump that Palestinians better be given “their own state or...they will fight on.” Yes, we know. Just ask Israel who went through the events of October 7 if they think the Palestinians actually want peace. A few hours later, Palmer resurfaced on CBS Mornings. CBS Mornings Plus co-host Adriana Diaz had the lead-in, making it seem as though the U.S. Ambassador could unilaterally implement policy: In the Middle East, there is new attention on the future of the Israeli-occupied West Bank amid signs the new Trump administration may not push back on Israel if it tries to annex that entire territory. Most international groups say the West Bank should belong to Palestinians but Trump’s pick to be U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, disagrees. “All year, violence has been escalating in Israel’s occup ied West Bank,” Palmer began, then reciting the story from the night prior.     Palmer continued the pity party: “Now, the Palestinians fear President Trump’s slate of pro-Israel officials will make it worse, especially his pick for ambassador to Israel, the evangelical Christian Mike Huckabee, who doesn’t believe in a Palestinian state...Right-wingers in Israel’s government believe the West Bank is Israel’s anyway... And hope Trump will help them take it.” Before concluding with a warning to Trump he’d be responsible for tensions in the Middle East becoming “worse,” Palmer played new sound from Barghouti warning Israelis and the Trump administration that Palestinians “will not give up our right to be free” and “not accept that our children will live in a system of eternal apartheid and discrimination, so we will struggle.” To see the relevant CBS transcripts, click here (for November 14) and here (for November 15).

Charles Barkley weighs in on Trump's victory, rips Democrats over brutal election loss: 'You guys lost because y'all stupid'

Charles Barkley smashed Democrats and the Harris campaign for their devastating election loss. The NBA Hall of Famer also weighed in on how he'll approach Donald Trump's second term as president of the United States. Barkley first congratulated President-elect Trump on his decisive 2024 election victory. 'When you win, you get to say what you want to. When you lose, you need to shut the hell up.'"I wish him nothing but the best, but we lost," Barkley said of Trump on a recent episode of his "The Steam Room" podcast. "I don’t think everybody who voted for Trump is racist or whatever," Barkley noted. "I’m not a fan of the guy, but he’s the president. I’m gonna have to respect the office.""I wish President-elect Donald Trump nothing but the best, because, hey, he won the race fair and square," Barkley said. "I hope that he realized that 71 million people voted for her and do the best for the American people, plain and simple." Barkley then skewered the Democratic Party for "not having a game plan." "But we lost," Barkley conceded. "And I just want to say this to the Democrats – which I’m an Independent who voted Democratic. Do me this favor, shut the f*** up! When you win, you get to say what you want to. When you lose, you need to shut the hell up."Barkley then listed the excuses Democrats used to try to explain why Vice President Kamala Harris was soundly beaten by Trump in the election. He cited the Democrat talking point that President Joe Biden didn't drop out of the race soon enough. "We lost because we had no game plan," Barkley stated. "We still haven’t solved the immigration problem, have no viable answers, never addressed inflation. Bringing all these stupid stars out to rally the vote, what was that? Hey, I love Beyoncé. That ain’t gonna make me vote a certain type of way. Cardi B, I like Cardi B. That ain't gonna make me vote a certain way." Barkley said Kamala should have had "a better game plan going forward, instead of bringing celebrities around" because "people want solutions."Barkley admitted during his recent podcast rant, "I voted for Kamala. But like I said, we didn’t win.""It’s all our faults for not having a game plan," Barkley said. "We’re not having concerts and rallies. People want solutions. They want money in their pocket. They want the border secure.""You guys lost because y’all stupid. Come up with solutions," the 11-time NBA All Star stated. Barkley blasted Democrat cities for having rampant crime, including unchecked shoplifting to the point that stores are forced to lock up their merchandise. The "NBA on TNT" host said Biden has been "tremendous," and he has nothing but "admiration and respect" for him.Barkley slammed anyone criticizing Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl for casting his vote for Trump. "The next one of you fools, idiots, and jackasses send me an article about Bruce Pearl supporting Trump, I’m gonna punch you in your face," Barkley proclaimed. "Bruce Pearl can vote for who he wants to. Bruce Pearl got two jobs: win basketball games and graduate players. That's all I care about." "That man can support who he wants to," the former Auburn All-American basketball player continued. "These people are out here telling me, 'If you don't vote for Kamala, you ain't black.' Shut the hell up. People can vote for who they want to." As Blaze News reported in March, Barkley had a much different opinion about black people supporting Trump when he stated: "If I see a black person walking around with Trump mugs, I'm going to punch him in the face."Also in March, Barkley scolded Democrats for "only caring about black people every four years."Barkley's podcast co-host, Ernie Johnson, said he also voted for Harris.Johnson said he wasn't surprised that Trump won, but he was bothered that some Democrats are now saying: "If you voted for Donald Trump, I want nothing to do with you.""That's the part that we have to get over," Johnson added. "The fact that you voted one way, and I voted another way, that we can never see anything eye to eye or we never want anything to do with each other, because we're getting nowhere that way."
