BREAKING: Filings Reveal Oprah Winfrey Was Paid ONE MILLION DOLLARS To Host “Town Hall” With Kamala Harris

What’s $1 million between friends? Especially when the million isn’t yours anyway, it just poured in from Hollywood along with the rest of the $1 billion. And that’s allegedly what happened here…. While they passed it off as Oprah Winfrey coming in and doing her Civic Duty to host a Town Hall where Kamala Harris would take questions from voters, it now appears like it was nothing more than a paid event to prop up Kamala Harris — and Oprah allegedly got $1 million to do it. Good work if you can get it, I guess! Take a look here: REPORT: @KamalaHarris Campaign PAID Oprah Winfrey $1,000,000 To Do The Interview With Her!They Presented It As A Journalistic Endeavor…THAT WAS A LIE!HARRIS DID NOT PRESENT IT AS A PAID POLITICAL AD, WHICH IT WAS, A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW! pic.twitter.com/5swJpiLLaf — John Basham (@JohnBasham) November 9, 2024 That’s exactly right…. It was presented as an (impartial) journalistic endeavor, but in reality it seems it was nothing more than a paid ad. How ridiculous! Watch Jesse Watters break it all down here: Hang on a minute…Kamala paid Oprah $1 million to endorse her…wtf everything was fake lmao pic.twitter.com/g60NDpKiR6 — Mandy Gall (@TheMandyGall) November 9, 2024 Here is Elon Musk saying “Hmm” in response to @CerebralBlonde posting the actual campaign filing showing $1,000,000 to “Harpo Productions Inc”. See here: Oprah was paid $1M? Hmm — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 9, 2024 For those who don’t know, Harpo is Oprah spelled backwards and it’s the name of her production company. The Denver Gazette had more details on this payment and many others: The Harris campaign and its affiliated committees dropped more than $654 million on advertising from July 22 to Election Day, whereas Trump spent $378 million, or 57% less, in the same category, according to data from AdImpact. Future Forward, the $500 million “ad-testing factory” and super PAC that supported Harris, was a reliable clearinghouse for checks from wealthy Democrats such as Reid Hoffman, George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, and Dustin Moskovitz. And anonymous donations, or so-called “dark money,” also benefited Harris at a faster and more substantial clip than Trump thanks to lax federal laws that progressives often criticize but, nonetheless, exploited in 2024. The Harris campaign declined to comment on its finances. A fuller portrait will be public after the election, as the Federal Election Commission mandates post-general election reports for candidates within 30 days. In mid-October, the Harris campaign disclosed that it had spent over $880 million this election, almost $526 million greater than the roughly $354 million that the Trump campaign had disclosed spending, according to a Washington Examiner analysis of federal filings. Much of the Harris campaign’s spending was allocated for digital media advertising, polling, and travel from state to state, including to a private jet company called Advanced Aviation. Payroll and the taxes that accompanied it accounted for $56.6 million of the Harris campaign’s spending. In comparison, the Trump campaign reported spending $9 million on payroll — employing hundreds fewer staff members. There was also the army of political, digital, and media consultants who were paid over $12.8 million by the Harris campaign, filings show. One vendor, Village Marketing Agency, received over $3.9 million and reportedly worked to recruit thousands of social media influencers to boost Harris online. Others that scored lucrative consulting gigs from the campaign included the likes of Precision Strategies, a Democratic-aligned marketing agency; Ethos Organizing, founded by former Ohio Democratic Party director Malik Hubbard; and the Biden-allied SKDK communications firm. Harris’s payments to the consultant class will likely come under the microscope in the months ahead, as Democrats look to diagnose who is responsible for why the party lost this election so handily. Speaking on MSNBC after Harris’s Wednesday concession speech, former Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill said Harris “was listening too much to consultants,” which McCaskill argued detracted from her ability to “exude who she was” to voters. “There was a segment of the electorate that was very consistently saying, ‘I’m not familiar with Kamala Harris,’ and, because of that, ‘I’m not comfortable enough to decide to vote for her,’ whereas Trump is incredibly well-defined,” said Jake Dilemani, a Democratic political strategist based in New York City. “It was easier for him to spend less and still win.” “It’s the advantage of being such a well-defined person,” Dilemani told the Washington Examiner. “Event production” was also a staple spending area of the Harris campaign, which notably hosted a star-studded lineup of musicians from Lady Gaga to Katy Perry for an election eve rally. The campaign paid more than $15 million, according to federal filings, to companies for such services. There was $1 million for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions on Oct. 15 in West Hollywood, California. Winfrey, a top Harris ally, appeared at a town hall with the vice president in September and was at her final rally in Philadelphia before Election Day. Viva Creative, a marketing agency that has touted its work with Oprah, comedian Trevor Noah, the Washington Nationals baseball team, and American Express, scooped up $1.8 million from the Harris campaign for event production from September to October. A company called Production Management One in Maryland received $1.7 million, with large payments also going to Vox Productions, Temple University, Wizard Studios North, the Park Hyatt Chicago, and other entities for event production, filings show. Then there was Majic Productions, a Wisconsin-based company, which has worked the NBA playoffs, the Super Bowl, and at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The Harris campaign paid that company $2.3 million. I don’t know why you would, but if you wanted to see the full Town Hall you can see it here: Here’s more on the extremely reckless spending of the Kamala Harris Campaign: After Raising $1 Billion In Campaign Contributions, Kamala Harris Campaign Ends Deeply In Debt! After Raising $1 Billion In Campaign Contributions, Kamala Harris Campaign Ends Deeply In Debt! This is the most "Democrat" thing ever.... Raise a BILLION dollars, spend recklessly and frivolously, keep horrible ledgers, budget and project spending wildly inaccurately, and then end up $20 million in debt! Just like how they run our country! Take a look: She only spent $400,000,000 in the swing stages. Her campaign raised $1,000,000,0000. Her campaign is now $20,000,000 in debt. So, what did they spend the other $620,000,000 on? There is some major fraud that occurred within that campaign’s finances. https://t.co/W0uGqNX6to — Joey Mannarino (@JoeyMannarinoUS) November 7, 2024 Confirmed by Politico California Bureau Chief Christopher Cadelago: Kamala Harris's campaign ended with at least $20 million in debt, per two sources familiar. Harris raised over $1 billion and had $118 million in the bank as of Oct. 16. — Christopher Cadelago (@ccadelago) November 7, 2024 I guess a BILLION dollars just doesn't go as far as it used to! Newsweek confirmed more information: Kamala Harris' presidential election campaign ended the 2024 White House contest "at least $20 million in debt," according to Politico's California bureau chief Christopher Cadelago. Cadelago made the claim on X, formerly Twitter, noting Harris' team had "$118 million in the bank" as recently as October 16. Donald Trump was elected to the White House for a second time, with The Associated Press (AP) reporting he had secured 295 Electoral College votes as of 5:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, 25 more than he needed for victory. According to AP, Trump is also ahead in the battleground states of Nevada and Arizona, which have 17 Electoral College votes between them. He is also on track to win the popular vote. In the post on Wednesday, Cadelago wrote: "Kamala Harris's campaign ended with at least $20 million in debt, per two sources familiar. Harris raised over $1 billion and had $118 million in the bank as of Oct. 16." Newsweek has not independently confirmed that a debt of around $20 million exists. The Harris-Walz campaign was contacted for comment via email on Thursday outside of regular office hours. The claim was repeated by on X by Breitbart's Matthew Boyle, who cited an anonymous "Kamala campaign staffer." The Washington bureau chief for Breitbart News Network wrote: "The $20 million debt thing is real. [The Harris campaign's deputy campaign manager] Rob Flaherty, this staffer said, is currently shopping around the Kamala fundraising email list to anyone who wants it to try to raise the money back. This includes other campaigns and outside groups." I thought it would be fun next to compare Kamala's campaign managing $1 billion with some historical campaigns. Let's start with Trump 2016: Donald Trump 2016: Debt Status: Trump's 2016 campaign concluded with no reported debt. Financial Summary: The campaign raised approximately $333 million and spent about $325 million, leaving a cash surplus of over $7 million. That checks out....he ran a surplus! $7 million left over, money spent extremely frugally and wisely and funds left over after the win was secured. Just like a successful business man! Next up let's do Hillary 2016: Hillary Clinton 2016: Debt Status: Clinton's 2016 campaign ended with minimal debt. Financial Summary: The campaign raised over $563 million and spent approximately $570 million, resulting in a small deficit. I love how they call $7 million a "small deficit". No big deal, just have Gary Gensler write it off! "It's a write off Jerry, you just WRITE it OFF!" Next up, how about Obama in 2012: Barack Obama 2012: Debt Status: Obama's 2012 campaign concluded with no significant debt. Financial Summary: The campaign raised about $722 million and spent nearly $750 million, but managed to settle all obligations promptly. This shows a $28 million deficit, worse than Kamala! And I love how they say they "settled all obligations promptly"....what a way to put it! Let me tell you exactly how those settlements worked:  "Hello, XYZ Vendor, hi....this is Barack Obama.  I'm President now.  I know we owe you $XXX but we will not be paying any of that, we're broke.  Have a good day!" BOOM: settled promptly.

The DEC Is Hiding the Truth About P’Nut & Fred

The Department of Environmental Conservation said it is conducting an “internal investigation” into the much-criticized seizure of P’Nut and Fred the raccoon at Mark Longo’s Pine City home. Both animals were killed. They were likely decapitated. Decapitated? That sounds a little psycho. The state claimed they tested P’nut for rabies after he allegedly bit an agent […] The post The DEC Is Hiding the Truth About P’Nut & Fred appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

CNBC’s Kernen Torches Scaramucci Over Trump Takes: ‘Do You Ever Eat Any Crow?’

CNBC’s Kernen Torches Scaramucci Over Trump Takes: ‘Do You Ever Eat Any Crow?’

CNBC’s Joe Kernen torched former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci this week for some of his anti-Trump takes prior to this week’s election. The intense exchange on MSNBC’s “Squawk Box” came after Kernen said that Scaramucci had gotten “pretty heated” in his rhetoric against President-elect Donald Trump, who Scaramucci briefly worked for during Trump’s first term in office. “You have had an utter disdain for Trump,” Kernen said. “You’ll always be welcome at the table of legacy media and have people nodding as you trash Trump. That’s always going to happen. But aren’t you the slightest bit embarrassed or at least humbled about how wrong you were about the feeling of most Americans?” As Scaramucci tried to cut him off, Kernen fired back: “Let me finish!” “And for enthusiastically supporting a candidate who a majority of people thought had no business being anywhere near the Oval Office?” Kernen said. “And you’re a Republican and you saw that all the different policies that she was talking about are anathema to what you’ve thought your whole life. And yet you went along with it.” “Do you ever eat any crow or not even even a little crow wing?” he continued. “Or a little capon? Or you just, I mean, Michael Avenatti could still be on TV trashing Trump. You’ll always find a place on TV. If he wasn’t in prison, he’d still be on CNN running for president with Brian Stelter. Just give me a little bit, little bit, Anthony, about how wrong you were.” Scaramucci responded: “Joe, first of all, I immediately put out a congratulatory tweet. They won, we lost. In the immortal words of Barry Diller when he lost the Paramount deal, ‘next, Joe.’ What would you like me to do? Do you want me to get on bended knee before you?” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “We have a violent disagreement about lots of things related to Trump’s personality,” Scaramucci continued. “You like Trump, I was up close to Trump, I got to see the ugliness of what he is. And by the way, Joe, it’s not just me. There were 40 of us that worked for the president and were warning people –” Kernen fired back that Trump has been “very good” for Scaramucci’s career. “I think he’s been incredibly good. You’re here, are you not?” he asked. “And you’re going to be welcome anywhere you want to go. I think he’s been very good for you. And you’ll be able to live off this for another four years.” Scaramucci responded by repeatedly asking Kernen to “calm down.” Anthony Scaramucci just got destroyed by Squawk Box’s Joe Kernen on CNBC: “You will always be welcome at the table of legacy media and have people nodding as you trash Trump… but aren’t you the slightest bit embarrassed or at least humbled about how wrong you were…?” pic.twitter.com/pa7LenVjWs — ALX ?? Democrat Seth Moulton Loses Top Aide Over Transgender Comments

Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) lost his top aide this week after he spoke out against the Democrat Party’s support of transgender rights during an interview with The New York Times. “Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face,” said Moulton in an interview after his party took a beating during the 2024 elections. “I have two little girls,” he continued. “I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat, I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.” WCVB-TV Boston reported that following the comments, Matt Chilliak, Moulton’s campaign manager and top aide, resigned from his position. The School Committee in Salem, Moulton’s hometown, also slammed him for allegedly “scapegoating our kids for the failure of national Democratic politics.” Moulton responded to the backlash by saying in a statement: “I stand firmly in my belief for the need for competitive women’s sports to put limits on the participation of those with the unfair physical advantages that come with being born male.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “I am also a strong supporter of the civil rights of all Americans, including transgender rights,” he said. “I will fight, as I always have, for the rights and safety of all citizens. These two ideas are not mutually exclusive, and we can even disagree on them.” “Yet there are many who, shouting from the extreme left corners of social media, believe I have failed the unspoken Democratic Party purity test,” he added. “We did not lose the 2024 election because of any trans person or issue. We lost, in part, because we shame and belittle too many opinions held by too many voters and that needs to stop. Let’s have these debates now, determine a new strategy for our party since our existing one failed, and then unite to oppose the Trump agenda wherever it imperils American values.” Moulton’s remarks come after President-elect Donald Trump posted a dominant victory over Vice President Kamala Harris this week, beating her in every swing state. Part of Trump’s victory centered around an ad where he was able to highlight the extreme positions held by Harris, including her support for giving taxpayer-funded surgeries to illegal aliens who were locked up in prison. The ad’s tagline — “Kamala is for they/them. President Trump is for you.” — proved to be powerful and resonated strongly with voters. Republican strategists told the Times that the ad was so effective because it showed voters how out of step the Democrat Party was with the mainstream. The ad was so effective that the campaign poured millions of dollars into running it during football games, which “prompted Charlamagne Tha God, the host of the Breakfast Club, a popular show among Black listeners, to express exasperation — and his on-air complaints gave the Trump team fodder for yet another commercial,” the Times said. “The Charlamagne ad ranked as one of the Trump team’s most effective 30-second spots, according to an analysis by Future Forward, Ms. Harris’s leading super PAC,” the report said. “It shifted the race 2.7 percentage points in Mr. Trump’s favor after viewers watched it.”

Oversight Committee To Grill FEMA Chief Over Directive To Skip Trump Homes

The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability announced Saturday it would be holding a hearing to investigate FEMA after The Daily Wire reported that a federal employee ordered relief workers in Florida to skip the homes of people with signs or flags supporting Donald Trump. Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) sent a letter to FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell asking that she show up to testify before lawmakers on November 19. The letter comes after whistleblowers told The Daily Wire that they were instructed by now-fired FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington to “avoid homes advertising Trump” when offering relief in Lake Placid, Florida. “This hearing will address FEMA’s response to recent major natural disasters, including Hurricanes Helene and Milton, and permit members to investigate recent reports that a FEMA official instructed relief workers to bypass hurricane-impacted homes displaying campaign signs for President Trump,” Comer wrote in a letter to Criswell. ?BREAKING? I’m calling on FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell to appear & testify before the House Oversight Committee at a hearing on November 19. FEMA has a responsibility to all Americans & @GOPoversight is committed to ensuring FEMA adheres to its disaster relief mission. pic.twitter.com/5HbWhHsgOI — Rep. James Comer (@RepJamesComer) November 9, 2024 “In the wake of the recent major disasters that impacted Americans of all political persuasions, it is critical that FEMA adheres to its disaster relief mission,” Comer added. Multiple government employees from the relief team told The Daily Wire that at least 20 homes were skipped because of the guidance. The employees said this guidance was given both verbally, as well as in a group chat used by the relief team. Criswell announced on Saturday that Washington had been fired. “More than 22,000 FEMA employees every day adhere to FEMA’s core values and are dedicated to helping people before, during and after disasters, often sacrificing time with their own families to help disaster survivors. Recently, one FEMA employee departed from these values to advise her survivor assistance team to not go to homes with yard signs supporting President-elect Trump,” she said in a statement. “This is a clear violation of FEMA’s core values and principles to help people regardless of their political affiliation. This was reprehensible.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ Criswell said that the incident had been referred to a special counsel for investigation. “We take our mission to help everyone before, during and after disasters seriously. This employee has been terminated and we have referred the matter to the Office of Special Counsel. I will continue to do everything I can to make sure this never happens again,” she said. Numerous lawmakers have announced inquiries into the guidance, including Republican Senators Katie Britt (AL) and Josh Hawley (MO).
