After His ‘Garbage,’ ‘Jim Eagle,’ ‘Semi-Fascism’ Rhetoric, Biden Asks Americans to ‘Bring Down the Temperature’

Although part of President Joe Biden’s closing argument in the 2024 campaign was calling Donald Trump’s supporters “garbage,” he is now calling for America to “bring down the temperature” in light of Trump’s victory.  In a speech outside the White House two days after an election that saw Trump soundly defeat the Biden-endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, the president was clear that he accepted the result.  “We will have a peaceful transition,” Biden said, in a less-than-subtle reference to Trump’s not conceding his 2020 loss of the presidency to Biden. Biden, who dropped out of the presidential race in July and endorsed Harris, also repeated a point he frequently made about Trump’s not accepting the 2020 outcome.  “I’ve said many times, you can’t love your country only when you win. You can’t love your neighbor only when you agree,” Biden said.  “Something I hope we can do, no matter who we voted for, is see each other not as adversaries but as fellow Americans, bring down the temperature,” the president said.  However, since taking office in January 2021, Biden has used harsh rhetoric in talking about Trump and his supporters. In July, Biden called Trump a “threat to democracy.” He also said Trump stood for “semi-fascism.” Critics said such rhetoric from Biden, Harris, and other leading Democrats inspired two assassination attempts on Trump over the summer. Days before Tuesday’s election, Biden said in a Zoom interview with a Hispanic organization: “Donald Trump has no character. He doesn’t give a damn about the Latino community. Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a ‘floating island of garbage.’ Well, let me tell you something. … The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.” In a January 2022 speech in Atlanta, Biden said supporters of election reform laws such as voter ID backed “Jim Crow 2.0” and compared them to segregationist politicians George Wallace and Bull Connor as well as Confederate President Jefferson Davis.  “Do you want to be on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace?” Biden said then. “Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor?  Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?” Ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, Biden questioned the legitimacy of those elections after Democrats in Congress couldn’t pass a national law to offset state election reforms.  “I’m not saying it’s going to be legit,” Biden said in January 2022. “The increase and the prospect of it being illegitimate is in direct proportion to us not being able to get these reforms passed.” At the White House in March 2021, in a reference to laws after the Civil War designed to prevent blacks from voting, Biden said of a Georgia election reform law: “This makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle.”  During his White House speech Thursday, however, Biden didn’t question the electoral process.  “Also we can lay to rest the question about the integrity of the American electoral system,” Biden said. “It is honest. It is fair and it is transparent. It can be trusted, win or lose.” Biden also was known for fiery rhetoric before becoming president.  As vice president under President Barack Obama, Biden suggested during a 2012 campaign rally before a mostly African American audience that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney wanted to bring back slavery.  “They’re going to put you all back in chains,” Biden told the audience in Danville, Virginia. Sacrificing rights on the altar of abortion? Not this time, Kamala

The Democrats' method of fearmongering, lying, and name-calling surprisingly didn’t secure Kamala Harris a spot in the Oval Office — and Allie Beth Stuckey of “Relatable” couldn’t be happier. “Kamala Harris tried really hard to make you believe that miscarriage and abortion are the same thing,” Stuckey says, adding, “Kamala thought that she would be able to run exclusively on abortion. Every speech that she gave, every debate moment that she had, every interview that she offered, went back to abortion.” “She will sacrifice any right that you have on the altar of abortion, and that is the only thing that she knew how to run on, because that is the only time she really sounds articulate,” Stuckey says, adding, “Which is completely demonic and depraved when you think about it.” Not only has Kamala successfully convinced her voters to be terrified they’ll be faced with “forced births” despite abortion not even being on the ballot at a federal level — but her entire campaign was run on a hypothetical. “Kamala Harris was asking that group of voters to vote based on a hypothetical that is probably not going to affect them. An abstract issue to them that is probably never going to impact their family. That is a difficult case to make when they are looking at things that really do affect their family in a tangible, physical way,” Stuckey says. Those tangible things include the cost of living and crime — which have both skyrocketed under the Biden-Harris administration. “What voters in general cared about more was being able to afford groceries and gas and being able to walk through their neighborhoods safely, communities, not being riddled with crime because of the purposeful and unmitigated importation of unvetted, military-aged illegal immigrants,” Stuckey explains. "And so this campaign that she pushed, this deceptive strategy of convincing people that miscarriage and abortion is the same thing, and therefore you have to vote for the pro-abortion candidate, it just did not win,” she adds. Not only was her abortion stance a failure, but her transgender advocacy was a major failure as well. “People don’t want transgenderism,” Stuckey says, adding, “People don’t want its effects in their life. The idea that a man is a woman because he wears lipstick and a dress was the bridge too far.” Want more from Allie Beth Stuckey? To enjoy more of Allie’s upbeat and in-depth coverage of culture, news, and theology from a Christian, conservative perspective, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

'You are the media now': Elon Musk heralds the death of legacy journalism

Mainstream media is once again running to the hills following a second presidential election victory for Donald Trump, leaving audiences to wonder how and why network anchors seemingly didn't shoot straight with them in their coverage. With networks seemingly (and nonsensically) taking forever to call the election for Trump, a feeling of distrust in mainstream media seemed ever-present as votes rolled in on election night. Case in point: CNN didn't call the election for Trump until well after 5 a.m. Eastern Time. The reality of a Trump victory seemed like it was never going to set in for network anchors on election night, and despite an obvious shift in priorities among the American public, broadcasters went steadfast past midnight as if Kamala Harris still might become president.CNN's Jake Tapper was shocked to learn how much Vice President Harris underperformed, despite the Harris campaign's platitudes and non-answers.According to "The View," Harris even ran a "flawless" campaign despite falling millions of votes short of Trump.Over on MSNBC, blame for the loss quickly shifted to "white women" and "racism" on the part of Latino voters, even though they came out in record numbers for the Republicans. At the same time, cable news' blatant disregard for public sentiment has been painfully obvious to one man in particular: Elon Musk."You are the media now," Musk posted on X just after 1 a.m. Musk later noted, "the future is gonna be fantastic," as he continues to drive traffic to X, citing record usage of the platform on election night. — (@) Watch more mainstream media meltdowns here."News should come from the people. From those actually on the scene and those who actually are subject-matter experts!" Musk said, echoing what has become one of the most popular forms of modern journalism.Musk has pushed a free-speech mantra on his platform, leading to a steady flow of content creators and journalists jumping ship with the assurance that the vast majority of content on the X will not be de-ranked in any way. — (@) 'The mainstream media has always been a hub of misinformation.'Social media coordinator and on-the-ground journalist Yaakov Pollak told Blaze News that if it weren't for Musk, it would be "a lot harder to get the truth to people."He added, "Trust in the mainstream media is at an all-time low and has been super low for a while now. I do think that the [mainstream media] will continue to play a roll in calling elections; however, I do think more and more people are turning to X and other alternative media.""Some independent journalists and will play a bigger role in the future," Pollak added. This sentiment was shared by Oren Levy, whose viral news videos have broken dozens of stories around migrant hotels and the mayor's office in New York City."The mainstream media has always been a hub of misinformation," he said. "It's always had a political agenda with some of them. Some stories they won't touch, even when it's big issues. They're losing a lot of trust."Levy added that he believes mainstream media are forced to turn a blind eye to some stories due to their donors, who "don't want you to see everything that actually happens."Musk agreed in another statement, saying that the reality of the election was "plain to see" on his platform, despite what mainstream media said. — (@) Musk continued, saying "legacy media lied" while repeating his new tagline, "You are the media now."At the same time, though, Levy warned that misinformation is everywhere on social media platforms, even X."Some people are turning into the mainstream media themselves. More and more people are showing up to these [protests], but they have a clear agenda. Independent media has definitely been infiltrated," he concluded. For now, Musk pushing for further video integration and even news articles seems to be making his platform look more and more like a replacement for networks, especially given that it comes with and offers recurring payments.Like Blaze News? MSNBC's Joe Scarborough shocked to finally learn how inflation impacts grocery prices: 'Butter is $7?!'

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough was flabbergasted when he found out how much inflation has affected the price of butter in the United States, as the network comes to grips with Vice President Kamala Harris' election loss.On his talk show "Morning Joe," Scarborough recalled an instance when he was speaking to a Harris voter who told him Donald Trump was going to win the presidency simply due to the unaffordability of groceries."A few weeks ago ... somebody who was going to be voting for Kamala Harris came up to me and said, 'Oh my God, Trump's going to win. ... I go to the grocery store, [and] butter is over $3,'" Scarborough recalled. The host said he sort of laughed and thought to himself that the person's argument was kind of "reductive."'What, is it framed in gold?'It was at that point, Scarborough's wife and co-host, Mika Brzezinski, interrupted to tell him that the butter she buys is actually more than double that price."It's $7. ... I'm just saying it's 7,” she stated as they somewhat spoke over each other."What's that?" Scarborough asked. Finally cluing in to what he heard, Scarborough looked shocked as he stopped dead in his tracks."Butter is $7!?" he asked."Yeah," Brzezinski calmly replied."What, is it framed in gold?" Scarborough said as his panel laughed."Yeah, it depends on where you go," his wife reiterated. As the segment went on, it became clear that MSNBC and its hosts are either slowly figuring out that Americans are fed up with the high cost of living, or the network has finally decided to discuss the reality of the average consumer now that the election is over.Part of these network revelations included an NBC News exit poll that showed how much worse Americans view their financial situation in 2024 compared to previous election years. For 2024, 46% of those polled felt they were worse off financially than in 2020. In 2020, that number was just 20%.For 2016, the same question saw 27% say they were worse off, while 33% said the same in 2012.This was followed by a different exit poll showing how Americans have suffered as a result of inflation.Respondents were asked how inflation has affected them and their families.Three-quarters of Americans said that they have suffered either moderate (53%) or severe hardship (22%) due to inflationary costs, while less than a quarter (24%) said they felt "no hardship at all."Scarborough would go on to state that when looking at the current cost of groceries and gasoline compared to 2020, it must have been a very easy choice for the majority of Americans to vote Trump.Like Blaze News?
