Henry Winkler is happy to celebrate the last year of his seventies in a homely style, as he expects to be surrounded by his children and grandchildren, complete with chocolate mousse cake. The 79-year-old looks forward to blowing out candles and expressing gratitude for another anniversary. Last year, the iconic actor celebrated on the set of The View, as the hosts presented him with a Happy Days-themed cake, which reminded him and the audience of his “jumping the shark” episode. Henry seems to prefer a quiet and more intimate party with family this time. His 39th children’s book titled Detective Duck: The Case of the Missing Tadpole— which he co-created with Lin Oliver, was an immediate success as it debuted at number 3 on the New York Times list of best-selling children’s books. Henry’s efforts to promote his latest release paid off, as he has toured libraries and venues around the US since March. He is grateful for the opportunity to travel and make memories at his age, having done the same last year for his memoir Being Henry: The Fonz… and Beyond. He also has more goals to tick off his bucket list, including more fly-fishing and trips.
